Seth threw a hurt and beaten up Saveria on the floor in front of Roman. Roman looked at the woman and nodded his approval to Seth. She had been through one hell of a night judging from how she looked. She was dirty and bloody, and bruises were starting to form in many places on her body. She looked up at him through half closed eyelids but didn't say anything.
"What you decide to answer to my question will determine whether or not you'll go back out there tonight," he said. "Where is my money?"
She coughed a few times and then used what little strength she had left to push herself up to sit. He was impressed that she could even do that. He knew she was a stubborn ass but even he had to be impressed with her in that moment.
"I killed him but I didn't take your money," she said.
"Bullshit!" He yelled.
"I didn't kill him for money," she kept calm. "It was personal."
"How personal?" He asked.
"How much do you know about me other than my name? Do you even know my surname?" She asked.
He thought about it but ended up shrugging. She was right. He knew nothing about her while she for some reason knew a lot about everyone in this town. She seemed to have come from out of nowhere. One day she was there, acting as if she had always lived in this town.
"It's no secret that Dean loved to hurt women," she said.
"Boys will be boys," he laughed.
She shook her head no and sighed. He was damn well aware of how cruel Dean could be to a woman once he got his hands on one.
"I used to have a sister," she said.
"What happened to her?" He asked.
"She killed herself," she sighed. "After she ran into Dean. The things he did to her..."
She sighed again and tried pushing herself up to stand. Her body refused to work with her and she kept sitting on the floor.
"I swore one day I would get my revenge for what he did to her. I sometimes stay near this place to keep track of who comes and leaves. When I saw him leave, I followed him and killed him. I didn't steal your money, Roman. I don't care about your money. You should know that by now. I have never messed with you in any way. Dean deserved to die for what he did to her. I don't know who came across his body later and stole your money but I got a good guess," she said.
"Who?" He asked.
"Finn," she answered.
"Your boyfriend?" He asked.
"I think he dumped me," she said. "I shouldn't have told him what I did. He stopped answering my calls after that. My guess is that he went out there to see the body and took your money. I can't make him answer my calls but I can help you find him. He's not that fucking bright that he'll stay hidden forever. It's your choice, Roman. You can choose to let me help you or you can choose to put me down. What's more important to you? Your money or killing me?"
Roman sneered at her and looked over at Seth who stood there stone-faced. Seth wasn't about to give any suggestions. This was Roman's decision to make. Roman ran a hand down his face and nodded.
"Clean her up, Seth," Roman said.
"Got it," Seth said.
"And don't fucking leave her out of your sight. No one is allowed near her anymore. We need her help. She learned last night what will happen if she goes against me. I'm sure she'll play ball," Roman said.
"I won't fuck you over," Saveria said.
"We'll see about that," Roman said. "Take her to the bathroom and help her get clean."
Seth grabbed Saveria and pulled her to her feet. She groaned in pain and he put her over his shoulder instead of making her walk. He carried her to the bathroom and locked the door. He placed her down in the bathtub and grabbed the showerhead to clean her.
"Why are you lying?" He asked.
"I'm not," she answered.
"I know better than anyone that you didn't kill him," he said.
"How would you know?" She asked.
He moved his eyes to hers and twisted a sideways smile.
"Because I killed him," he said.
She tensed up but didn't make any move to get away or even to scream for Roman. He had thought she would try and run her mouth to get out of the situation but she seemed to accept it.
"He won't believe me," she said.
"What?" He asked.
"You want me to tell Roman what you just told me but he won't believe me. I know that and you sure as hell know that too. It will only hurt me further and that's what you want. I don't care if you killed him or not. I'm not telling anyone," she said.
"Smart choice," he chuckled. "But it was me. I killed him and stole Roman's money. I doubt you've ever seen that much money in your life. You could start over somewhere else and live like a fucking queen with that amount. I won't tell you where I'm hiding it."
"I don't give a fuck, Seth," she said.
He raised his eyebrows and just stared at her.
"You're gonna give me a fake place anyway. You're not fucking smooth, Seth. You want me to talk to Roman just so you can be allowed to hurt me further. I won't play your game. You killed him but I'll take the fall for it. I've made my peace with that," she said.
"And Finn?" He asked.
"I don't even know if he's still alive. He stopped answering my calls. I didn't lie about that. I just added to the truth," she said.
He chuckled and ran his hand over her knees to get the blood off.
"I put the money in a plastic bag and tied a rope around it. I lowered it in Batista's old well. He doesn't use that well anymore so it's safe there," he said.
"I don't care," she said.
"Yes, you do. You want that money," he said.
"Whatever you say," she sighed. "Can you just finish cleaning me up so I can get out of here? I don't want to be near you."
"What a shame that I'm on babysitting duty, huh?" He smirked. "You're all mine for now, Saveria. All mine."
