MetaHuman Liberation Army HQ
It was a week or so later, and the news was covering everything up. Compress had his mask off and was eating real Sushi.
"Well, no pain, no gain, as people like to say."
"But you didn't do squat," Dabi pointed out.
"Haha, nonsense! I was amazing at running away."
"You gonna eat this, Dabi" asked Spinner.
"Go ahead. I hate fish."
Jin was crying over a photograph. "Ahh, poor Toga. I'm so sorry. If Toga hadn't shared her blood, Toga would have - "
"Knock if off," She interrupted him. "It's creepy since I'm still alive."
"How about I stop creeping people out, how about that!" Said Jin. "Ack, stupid leg! Stop kicking things without permission. I'm a bad bad boy, please don't hit me! Huh? What the heck I even saying?"
"I thought he overcame whatever his issue is…" said Dabi. "Seems like it's become more severe."
"Looks like that forced remedy only made things worse," said Spinner.
The door opened and Trumpet and Skeptic came in. "It's time. Come on."
"Shaddup! We're dining on Sushi over here!"
"It was our money that paid for that fish, yeah?" Said Skeptic. " AS well as your medical treatments, the video doctoring and Toga's new coat."
"Yeah? So what? You've got us to thank for your big boss baldy being here in this hideout and not zonked out in a hospital bed!"
"The grand comman- erm - ReDestro chose these people, and an order from ReDestro is as good as any from Destro Himself," said Trumpet.
The presentation for the newborn Metahuman Liberation Army began.
"Liberation Warriors! I am Re-Destro! AS of today, the Metahuman liberation army is reborn! "
"I though all of Tomura's handy-hands got busted up?" Toga asked Spinner as they watched their leader, seated on a throne.
"One of them survived. It's a miracle it stayed in tact in all that chaos."
"Yeah, cuz it's like his defining gimmick."
The REDestro guy was going on. "In our quest to enlighten the world with Destro's will, I saw the League of Villains as an obstacle to be overcome! Yes, until that day, that its whatI believed! I never doubted it! But please understand I was blind to the truth! Bound by my blood and trapped by principles - that is, until the day I witness true liberation!Have I surrendered? No! I now see that Tomura Shigaraki is a true liberator! It is out of deep reverence and necessity that I abdicate my position! The liberation army is revived, with Tomura Shigaraki as its grand commander! In light of our commitment to walk a more profound path of liberation, our liberation army and the League of Villains will conduct a merger under a new name! The League's Spinner and I devised this name together ! Now tell them what it is, Tomura Shigaraki."
"Oh, psst, let's go!" Toga told him, and the League of Villains walked out on stage.
"Uh, we removed the Villain part and expanded on the concept of liberation. I give you The Paranormal Liberation front! Furthermore, I appoint the nine individuals you see here as my lieutenants, who will each be forming teams suited to their separate needs!"
"Hmph. That's just decoration. Kinda like this thing here," announced Shigaraki. We're gonna do whatever we want."
The crowd cheered!
We headed backstage with Baldy Big Nose following us and applauding Shigaraki. "Spplendidly done, sir! Something to drink, perhaps!"
"Get lost." Said Shigaraki.
"Happily! Let us 'get lost,' Trumpet!"
"I guess he climbed the corporate ladder by kissing butt like that?" Wondered Spinner as the guy left. Shigaraki tripped and fell over. "Huh!"
"Whoa!" Said Spinner.
"It's a miracle he was standing at all given his wounds," said compress.
Tomura was talking differently since the battle with the Liberation guys, not shaky anymore. "What an overblown new name! Though it's certainly better than League of Villains, which always felt so tacky."
"Hey, I tamed Machia. That's how you wanted me to prove myself, if I remember right," he said into the comm to the Doctor.
"Hmph! Your memories returned and you're back to your original self, quirk included. AS promised, I'll grant you power, if that's what you desire. However, there's one final little task before that. You need to bring me something."
Out in the meeting halll, the number two hero was drawing a lot of attention, and he was joined by the villain known as Dabi.
"You're looking pleased as punch."
"Sure am! Now, how about some intros?
THE ISLAND
Kirishima and I were both coming at the villain with their best shots. Our plan was about to move into the next phase.
The giant villain called out, "Weak."
"Red Gauntlet!" Kirishima shouted, throwing his best punch. The villain barely reacted.
"That tickles," he gloated. "Tch. I told you. You don't stand a chance against- Why can't I move?
The plan has succeeded.
"There's a reason we were using the same attack moves over and over," said Todoroki.
"My legs and Kirishima's hands. They were coated in a toxic mucus that Asui created," I told him.
"Just call me, "Tsu."
"We got you, old man."
The villain's eyes narrowed down. "Don't be so insolent. I'll show you...why I've been called a monster my entire life!" And with a giant scream, he seemed to grow - several sizes.
"He got bigger?" I cried, frustrated.
"That form. He reminds me of Amajiki," said Kirishima.
"No," Todoroki murmured.
"Let's go, Tsu!" I told her.
"Kero." We continued our attacks - but even our work was starting to fall short.
The villain's increased size seemed to have increased his strength to truly unbearable levels as we all continued to do battle with him.
"That's some crazy power."
"Yeah, we can't even get close to him."
"I don't have much Recipro left," I added.
"Make an opening for me. I need to be able to touch him," said Todoroki.
"And then what?"
"I have an idea."
"Right. This might be our last chance."
"Iida, you distract him with your Recipro Turbo," he told me.
I nodded and closed my eyes.
This is what Tensei prepared me for. All that pain - all that work - it was all to make sure I could strike this blow.
"Recipro - Turbo!"
The world slowed down again and I began to take action. Kicking - moving - the villain in slow motion, yet still managing to take each blow despite everything I was giving.
No matter. Just keep him occupied.
Time ticking - and then they came. Kirishima in his unbreakable mode. Todoroki preparing his attack.
"Unbreakable!" Kirishima shouted, and they moved in. The villain turned to face them as Asui and I finally collapsed.
"Kirishima!" Todoroki shouted.
"Do it," he returned.
Todoroki leapt onto the villain's back and stuffed his hand down there, freezing - ice - cold -
And at last the villain fell.
I slowly pushed myself up. Kirishima, Todoroki and Asui were all unsconcious.
Best tie the villain up and make sure he's captured first. I still have some Recipro left.

Thankfully, the plan had succeeded.
The pro heroes had been alerted and arrived. We were able to protect everyone on the island, but there was still tons of damage. And it would take time to repair. The Heroes Public Safety Commission immediately suspended our practical program. But we stayed the rest of our scheduled time.
All of us wanted to help the island get back to normal. We couldn't just leave. Not when people needed us.
And then, finally, it was time for us to go home. We were all assembled on the boat's deck, though Midoriya and Bakugou were off on their own. Something had happened between them while we were all out - something they'd done to save the island from the main villain. Whatever it was, Bakugou had woken up from it with the same kind of damage Midoriya usually had on his arms, and Midoriya with the same.
How peculiar...
"Shouldn't we, like, say something before we leave?" Said Kaminari.
"I know, right?" Said Ashido.
"But we wouldn't want to interrupt the recovery efforts."
"Well, I guess this is cooler."
"Yeah, it's pretty hero-like."
"True."
"I can't believe it's time for us to go already."
"Eh, good riddance."
The kids from the island were waving goodbye to us as we turned away from the island, heading back towards UA, Heights Alliance - and our home.
