In the last chapter the team found themselves with holes in their memeories from the last six months. Though they may get them back and meet a certain telekinetic belongs to greg wiseman and Brandon Vietti.
Chapter 13:Memories Are Back
Night had fallen onto the bialyan desert as the only sounds were the nearby animals or geckos. But running through the dunes with light footsteps was robin following his hologlove map display sighing to himself wishing he had this dumb gps marker here.
As he kept running to the dunes soon enough he made it to the next dropping to see something. A large mechanical like device sitting in the open with a surprised look guessing that was it right now
With him looking at the dune right now the boy wondered if it was completely deserted right now. Narrowing his eyes he jumped up landing a few feet from the device. But as he did he noticed six soldier their who emerged from the sandy dunes they hide under their uniforms right now
"Sahibit il galala tureadahoo hayan!(her majesty still wants him alive!"one shouted as reminder for the other as they all charged to take down the boy wonder
Seeing this robin smiled, dropping down a pellet which was a smoke bomb. As they got within range he threw it down. With a lot of them coughing cut off by the sound of the impact right now as they tried to get their bearing right now.
As one tried to look through the smoke adjusting their gaze. Before suddenly robin came from his left quickly taking him down tackling him to the ground socking him in the jaw knocking him down. Another two saw each other through the smoke regrouping
As they did, Robin joined them in the small clearing with a smirk on his face. Before drawing out two bolas as they just turned around seeing him. He tossed the bolas wrapping around the two soldier tying them down as he jumped into the smoke again disappearing
As he did he finally got close to one that almost shot him. But bending his knee he pushed the soldier bent knee as he kneed him strong enough to send him back with a thud right now. Reaching inside his pouch he pulled out three disc in hand
Running forward he took out two soldier guns as the third one dodged the strike. But despite two more coming from the back he runs for the one he missed. Grabbing them tightly as he jumped forward he placed himself on the shoulders of the soldier with the other two coming at him
Using his momentum he quickly did a 180 spin then pushed the two soldiers into each other. Then he hit the third one in the face as they ski across the desert land with the leader having enough of this taunting now
"Kifaya! Idradb nar!''enough! open fire!"the leader ordered as they all took aim on the boy wonder. This made robin jump backward narrowly avoiding the bullets stopping once he got out of their range for safety
As suddenly a black blur came speeding past robbing them of their weapons. Before suddenly all of them were getting their guns taking for them as all their guns got dropped into a pile right now without someone laughing
"Thanks for the gift but i already had some last week"he joked running back them
With robin already sizing a soldier up before he dodged a right hook as he smiled. Retaliating he kicked them in the ribs making them grunt in pain right now. As suddenly kid flash takes out the other three with two more advancing on them. But this time the first fired a few shots before being lifted in the air to robin shock
Looking up, m'gann flew behind him in camouflage mode, unable to see her till she turned back to visible again.
A kid flash ran into another soldier who raised their foot to kick the teen hero. But wally slows down grabbing the foot in mid air before spinning them around at high speeds. As he threw them into two more advancing soldier as one was seen running away
Though running forward was wraith who figured out she could jump far leaving a haze behind with her jump. As she landed down slamming herself onto the soldier who groaned crashing to the ground as artemis stepped down with them all regrouping
"KF!"robin cheered hugging his redheaded friend as they let each other go
"Great to see a familiar face right now"robin said as wally stared at him
"Hey rob"he said as he didn't get a reaction before snapping his fingers at him
"You got memory loss too"he said making the boy wonder go wide eyed under his mask
"Six months! That's why! Let gotti these guys and compare notes right now"he shouted in raged and felt offending
After they tied the soldier up they all compared notes with each other right now. As they did they discussed their past slightly with m'gann filling in the blanks for them right now telling them they were a team right now as robin looked surprised right now
"Were a team in a way"she finished
"So we are a team"robin said sort of believing it
"The five of us and superboy"m'gann corrected as they didn't believe that part
"Yeah and i'm a superhero apparently ...i just realized i have superpowers' 'delaih replied as robin saw her face realizing who she was surprised to see a fellow gotham citizen here.
"Wait i remember finding this"he said pulling out the piece of scrap as m'gann gasp taking it
"This was him did you see him"She asked
"We sure did! "Artimis said realizing what they ran into early was now
"Feral boy? Sure some teammate he is he attacked us!"he says annoyed
"But he didn't know who we were….i know who we are!"artemis shouted in worry
"All i remember is bats telling us to have radio silence we must work for him"robin decided as wally smirked
"Come on, we might work for the flash,"he said, hitting the logo on his chest. Once he did it went back to a bright color as he smirked playing with it now hitting it a few more times
"This is so cool"he said as he kept doing it. Curiously the other did it with artemis and robin having no result as delilah messed with her mask before it displayed a emoticon on it with her annoyed
"Oh god…richie you little….of course you made this a face rig tracker"she muttered as artemis sighed
"We all look so dumb"She said, snapping her finger as Wally kept acting like a five year old with his new toy. But soon enough artemis had enough gripping his hand right now
"Quit touching yourself! We need our memories back now!"she shouted with haste
Thinking of an idea, M'gann nervously rubbed her hands together slowly. As she did she thinks hard to herself to help her friend before her eyes glowed white engulfing all of them in it for a moment right now.
As they opened their eyes they soon found themselves in a strange space. It was a space with small chunks of mirrors around the room with scene playing out before them as artemis saw herself in a few of them right now in shock
"What is this place?"Deliah asked
"I brought you into my mind to share what i remember so far"a white form appeared holding m'gann voice as she appeared in her hooded form
"But i need your help to reform our broken memories if you open your minds to mine"she said making artemis backup angered and betrayed right now
'You wanna go through our own private thoughts"she asked
M'gann raised her hands to defined herself"i don't wanna intrude but i.."she was stopped
"Hey you need to hack into our minds to find out what happened go ahead."robin said as he snapped his finger giving an okay
"Hey my brain is all yours don't let my brilliance overwhelm you"wally flirted making her cringe a little
Delilah rubbed her head"Sure i mean hey maybe you could help me find my scumbag dad….he owes my mom for abandoning her"she said giving her an okay it seems
Artemis stood there for a moment staring at the Martian unease seeing her. But wally noticing this stepping forward with a soft smile offering her it as she sighed taking it for a moment right now thinking of it
"Find the last six months only and what you need," she told her as she nodded. With her reaching her hands out in her astral projection the hands brand off her and meets off with each of them before the memory clips become much bigger right now to them.
As suddenly it showed the mission room with batman there as there was a map displayed to the team being displayed right now.
"In the bialyan desert the watchtower noticed a large surge of power in the desert"he said before he stared at the team
"It revealed a spectral analysis of elements non terrestrial in origin. Find out what happened at the sight and what landed their''batman continued hitting a remote before something appeared to them
That being a slender dark skinned woman with dark blue eyes and long black hair sported with golden diadem on her forehead. She wore a golden stinger shaped earring and armband on her right forearm. She wore a strapless gray mini skirt dress with black pants and high heel boots. Around her shoulder hangs a translucent pale blue veil.
"Bialya is a rogue state ruled by queen bee and not a member of the league UN characters. All communications are subject to interception. Maintain radio silence at all time"he warned
Before it shifted to another scene as it shows them in the desert as the voice of the man continued
"You will land in quarac, on bialya boarded. "He continued as it showed them in the bioship right now as superboy is following the gps marker that robin had before
"Two click hot from the hot zone"he said
"All clear"boy wonder replied
"The bialyans control the site which is just great"artemis said, showing her and robin crawling through the desert overlooking a small bialyan camp set up in the desert.
"Then we set up here,"Ladur's voice said as they dropped the device he had on his back, disappearing as it needed one button to fully activate.
"We will be running up in no time"robin said typing away on the keypad connect to the machine as wally fist bumped the air
"Nice! This is going well jackpot!"wally cheered as robin sighed
"Sights lousy with zeta beam radiation"he said
"Detecting that non terrestrial trace from the tent"robin added
"I can check it out in camouflage mode"m'gann offered
"I could help too since i'm quick"deliah offered
"Good maintain telepathic contact,"kaldur ordered as they nodded, promising him to do that. Though it showed the two sneaking into the tent as m'gann was approaching some strange sphere like shape but someone called to her
"Ah ah simone didn't say"a man voice said in her head as she followed the source staring at the strange man who moved his hood back showing a translucent dome like head with his brain being their smiling.
As it happened suddenly it flashed before showing their other teammate being aqualad right now as it ended right their
All of them in real life all gasped in shock right now remembering one thing right now in unison
"Aqualad!"all five said in unison
"Where is he? What happened next?"robin asked worried
"I don't know all i can remember is we…"she admitted as worry came over her tone of voice as both kid flash and artemis pulled their hands away from each other
"Ughh "wally mumbled moving his hands to rub the back of his neck
"Uh, we landed 24 hours ago. If kaldur been out here in the desert this long then it's not good for him since he's got gills''wally said
"Then we need to move let me see"robin said eyeing his hologlove map seeing how close he was to them right now
"This way we can find him if where quick enough"he said as they ran ahead to find their fish friend in this desert landscape
Though inside the camp right now it is the tent with twice as many soldiers as before. Right now there was a large sphere in a mechanical apparatus holding the sphere. With large sparks coming off it as it spins infront of scientist taking notes with superboy on the right on a table being electrocuted by the sphere right now
"Raise it to shock level four"one of them said
The scientist moved onto the control panel showing three level reading. Typing in the command it changed to red, orange and blue bars before shocking him again. He released a grunt and groan out in protest sighting the urge to pass out but he barely did anything
As the man stepped forward with him revealing it to be psimon who smiled with a dark look on his face
Elsewhere right now the others soon found aqualad current position as he was mumbling to himself right now
"Tula vis ol may"tula please"he murdered as robin checked him over for physical damages right now
"Aha pa olsey(i love you"he mumbled
"I can't restore his mind in this state"m'gann tells the others
"We gotta get him rehydrated now. Call the bioship"robin says sternly to her as she tried but failed
"Its out of range you can get him their quickly wally"she said as the speedster had bad news
"Can't be almost out of fuel right now besides….i struggled to carry artemis here"kid flash said as she wondered if that was a fat joke as she scoffed at him for that.
"Can't you levitate him back?she asked
"I could but we need to find superboy. I can sneak into the camp and help get his mind back. We need to help him"she said with worry
"Hes indestructible like those tanks i mean he'll be fine"kid replied as delilah stepped forward flexing her hands for a moment
"M'gann go i can go in and grab him okay"she said to their shock
"Uhhh you can't control your powers and you might be spotted instantly"robin warned
"Yeah but i can get in and she can call the bioship to get us out and help him out"deliah replied as they thought for a moment as robin sighed
"Good idea. Come on where moving on miss m levitate him"he ordered as she did with her carrying the atlantain as the gothamite sprinted off toward the camp to rescue that test tube clone right now with the martian staring back in worry right now.
But then artemis realized something"Wait our memories could be erased again!"She shouted but saw she was already gone as she growled right now
"We should have thought about that right"wally asked as they continued on right now
With delilah she sprinted forward seeing the camp before her as she sneakily got in seeing a truck nearby. Jumping into the tent flaps from the back she snuck inside of it as it drove through the camps. Thank to her sneaking around the academy she was a little light on her feet at times
As she made her way inside secretly she jumped out of the truck hiding behind some boxes. Then slowly she made her way through the tent flaps hiding behind some machinery seeing something right now
That being a sphere shocking superboy over and over again. With it slowly spinning as the scientist kept taking note with her narrowing her gazes. As she quickly leaped forward kicking one scientist into another knocking them down onto the ground as someone called to her
"Someone back for their punishment, I thought I made sure you were powerless,' ' Psimon said with a chuckle as she looked wide eyed. As suddenly she felt a ear bleeding pain in her head making her cry in pain right now falling to her knees in utter pain right now
As she did she saw the image of mount justice and her time at gotham academy right now. With psimon voice flaring into her head right now
"Forget like before and be a good girl and stay"he said
"Before"deliah thought before she recalled what happened before. It showed her that her and m'gann snuck into the tent with them talking to kaldur right now
"Invisibility doesn't make you invisible and you may move quick but you can still be seen"kaldur voice warned through their link
As the two watch the scientist experimenting on the sphere right now with sparks wiring. As m'gann floated forward
"Their hurting something it's alive and in pain…can you hear me"she asked but someone else spoke up
"I can and your friend is here"psimon said before she say the source going wide eyed
"A mind can be a dangerous place"psimon added
"Our link has been hacked"She said as the teams heard it with Delilah breaking from cover to fight him. But he released a blast from his mind which caused a loud ringing noise as it made her and their team fall to the ground. As they all began to wander with superboy jumping off with a yell. But for her he approached her smiling for a moment
"Ohhhh a mental block i must dig deeper later when my friends come by…your father will be happy to see you"psimon said as delilah gasped finding herself in gotham academy right now as she looked up seeing psimon their as he smiled at her
"You will lose her little girl and i will break through those mental blocks ...lets see what you're hiding"he said he released a light which made her scream out in pain right now from the blast.
Elsewhere the others were carrying kaldur with the martian carrying him with her telepathy. As she did they followed robin gps with them hearing a jeep as they ducked before being seen as robin sighed
"We gotta get out of here quickly before they find us any news on the ship"he asked as the martian thought for a moment as aqualad groaned
"Tula, dena me ta etah en atlantis ih ba ohse"tula we can still be together in atlantis."he muttered as kid flash covered his mouth a little to keep him quiet seeing soldiers approaching them right now
"Kaldur buddy quiet okay"Artemis shushed as he groaned with Robin eyeing a squad of bialyan soldiers all armed walking past them.
"We can't risk a firefight with aqualad K.O like this."robin huffed
"Then we gotta go i'm out of juice"wally replied
"I'm almost out of arrows my quiver almost empty"artemis said showing her empty quiver right now as wally thought of something
"Hey robin can you…"he was stopped as the boy wonder was gone again
"I hate how he does that, why does he do that? But hey wait….you never said why your dad would uh.."he said running his thumb across his neck
"Kill me"he said with a bad sound effect as she flinched right now
"I got confused by this movie I saw one time. It was about a ninja girl who dad ordered her to kill her ninja boyfriend from a rival clan"she said as he smirked at that
"Wait i'm your ninja boyfriend?"he teased back as she went wide eyed composing herself real quick
"Hey amnesia, remember. Besides i'm not like m'gann who has a thing probably for delilah''she replied making the martian freeze for a moment as wally scoffed at that
"Dude come on no way that's happening. "He said with a confused look before suddenly miss martian felt a ear bleeding cry in her mind as she went wide eyed as a flash of psimon popped into her head
"Oh no that man from before…he trying to do it again with our mental link i need to go!"She shouted running off as the other two got left with aqualad as artemis growled
"Dang it misses me! Come back we already lost that dumb bird ninja"she said as he popped up beside her
"Right here and i got us some wheels"robin said to their shock as it startled them but seeing that he commended a jeep they had no time to waste right now running into it for safety for where the bioship was
Inside the mindscape delilah was struggling against the relentless attack by psimon right now. With her crying out in utter pain as he kept trying to force his way into her mind
"Ahhhh interesting whoever put these inside your mind did a good job. This might be better than my work ... .almost"psimon said probing further right now as she kept crying out in utter pain right now.
As outside in the room slowly superboy was regaining consciousness as he looked up to see the scientist staring at the still delilah in the room. Before suddenly the tent flaps went up as suddenly miss martian appeared tossing them into each other. As she shifted to the sphere using her telepathy to free it
As the sphere whirred around before ramming itself into the scientist, breaking more of its clamps. As it crashed into his restraints superboy groaned as miss martian touched his head for a moment before he gasped suddenly right now clutching his head
"Superboy are you their!"She shouted as he groaned right now
"Yeah but….what happened my head…i…'he was stopped
"No time! Cover me i need to help her fight him off"she said before floating over grasping the girl hand as he stood up preparing to fight off whoever was coming their way despite his injuries
In an instant suddenly inside the mindscape appearing by Delilah's side was M'gann who stared at psimon who looked surprised. But he could hardly care as he released a devastating psychic blast pushing the martian back but she had an idea as she grasped her teammates hand to help quell her pain
"Calm down, we can do this together okay"she said as Delilah looked up clutching her head in pain, still feeling something snap slightly in her head right now as she grunted in pain for a moment. Before suddenly a brief flash of someone came to her mind showing some man with white hair but she opened her eyes growling in rage
"Get out of my head!''She shouted as they combined their powers, firing off a large laser into the psychic. This knocked the psychic down as he screamed out in agony right now. In the real world psimon fell to his knees in pain as miss martian groaned falling into delilah eyes
With her looking up seeing a sphere near superboy like he was controlling it as it beeped with him smiling for a moment
"I think i should keep this"he said as they made their way out of the tent to escape this place right now
Later on in the bioship aqualad had an iv drip full of water with a wet cloth on his head. As suddenly throughout their head m'gann spoke up
"We got superboy and wraith"She said through their link as wally looked stunned for a moment
"Really? I mean we thought you guys were goners for a moment"he said as aqualad gasped holting up panting with artemis running to his side right now
"Hey take it easy your hurt so…"she was stopped
"Who are you"he questioned as they forgot about the memory loss right now
"Right memory loss fixes that because ughhh we're bringing back something that followed supes home"deliah said as they had another successful mission for the week right now. But later on in a brightly light room with several monitor psimon was before someone
"The Martian girl escapes with the sphere and superboy. But…that girl she was interesting"he said peeking some interest
"How interesting?"a woman asked as she snapped her finger with something appearing another sphere it seems
"Because we have more test for our partner delivery system now"she added as he smiled before staring at a light like figure on one of the screen which they noticed
"Well i'll be damned….so my little girl is still kicking keep me posted."a man voice said seeming to be Delilah's true father from all those years ago as they share one thing white hair.
Seems their mission was a complete success in a way. Though it seems that psimon has told a mysteriou member on the light about deliah who is her father. Place your bets on who her father might be everyone. Thanks for reading!
