In the last chapter we saw a ship take sail and if I am not burned alive for this ship well heres another chapter. This time we'll see a cowgirl hunting down the man who hurt her fellow lawman belongs to greg wiseman and Brandon Vietti.
Chapter 20: Tour For A Luchador.
September 28th mount justice 9:23am
It was a couple days after the prison mission for the three team members. But things have been changing for a few. That being the new secret couple that have decided to hide their true relations between the team. Mainly to not cause an uproar of chaos throughout the team but she feels like some of them would know.
Although its been nice since they've returned right now as she been on a couple patrols with her mentor. Along with meeting a couple new villains that being some creepy guy named flamingo. Big serial killer who liked to eat people faces which wasn't nice to see at all on her very first patrol with him.
Another was him and hero stopping a gang meet up between some cartel and mobsters that where in mexico. They dealt with them and they called themselves the inferno or something since their leader is some firebased villain named el diablo. She never met him but he seemed like a big deal. Though right now she wanted a day off
Because inside the lounge right now she was with conner and jinny right now. Along with wally who was in his suit with the mask off eating a bowl of popcorn right now as they spoke
"So anyone got plans today because maybe we should start exploring the town or something"jinny suggested
"I might speed more time on my bike. I need to replace some parts"Conner mentioned as the cowgirl eyed him on that
"I could help out since my shop back home is well stocked in parts"jinny offered batting her eyes at him but he failed to notice it right now as he stared at the tv with ghost snoring right now on his lap as he petted him
This made her frown a little as m'gann noticed that as she was cleaning some dishes for a moment humming.
"Well we could just relax those patrols i went on were brutal. Gangster and a guy who eats faces…ughhh people are nuts"deliah replied
"You are not wrong heck weather wizard is just some guy who controls raincloud ohhhh scary"Wally joked making them stare at him for a moment before the ringing of a phone was heard. That being jinny who pulled her phone out seeing it was greg
"Be right back"she said quickly excusing herself as she went to the next room
In the other room she leaned against the wall"how you been partner that leg of yours treating you alright"jinny asked
As on the other end back in dripping spring greg was sitting on a couch with his foot propped up in a cast. With him watching some old western movies which where his favorites as next to him was nico who was busy eating some takeout they ordered
"I'm fine darling thanks for asking. Dam leg of mine is busted but i aint a horse then i be put down for not being in proper racing shape"greg joked as jinny on the other ended rubbed her eyes right now
"Well maybe we should go after the punk that did it to you. That muscle brained brute deserves to be punished"jinny said making greg narrow his eyes
"Now girly you better not try anything. I know your upset and i was like family to ya. But you are not going after him got it. Because if you do your going to regret it for the rest of your life. Be safe and stay inside that cave got it"greg said as jinny growled rudely hanging up on her friend and uncle figure
The cowgirl stood their in anger right now because all shes done right now for this team was go on a couple easy mission. Her guns may come in handy and she can fight but shes sick of sitting here. Its nice that she made friends and started a hero career like her mentor. But she wanted payback for that brute for what he did to her home and friend.
"I just want to earn you some payback greg….can't you understand that"She said aloud as someone spoke up
"Well…maybe i could help you out"deliah said spooking jinny who almost punched her but saw it was her as she lowered her fist
"How much you hear girly"jinny questioned
"Not much but….hey i get it your pissed because well i'd be too if someone i care about got hurt. I might know a way for you too maybe get some answer or lock that brute up"deliah mentioned making the cowgirl eye her up for a moment
"Their a catch to this?"jinny asked but she shook her head
"No catch besides…i need to get away from wally and m'gann agreed to watch ghost for me. I'm gonna be heading to gotham so…"she paused as the cowgirl understood smiling right now nodding to her
"I'll grab my gear and we can start on this rodeo"jinny siad
Elsewhere in the training hall aqualad and red tornado where talking right now on a specific topic. A while back he went on a mission with an old quitnace of their known as speedy but now goes by red arrow. Right now they where talking about a mission they had and about something specific that being what the two encountered
"So still haven't told your team about the mole?"red tornado asked
"I cannot be sure one exist. And if it does that means the team is being betrayed from within. I must do so without tipping my hand"kladur said before looking at the metal faced man
"But should i tell batman"he asked
"Generally, the batman expects the team to handle their own problem but the decision is yours"red tornado reminds as he says nothing more before walking away
"I will return after monitor duty on the watchtower"he added to the fish themed heroes surprise
"Why must you go i thought you would be our…den mother"kaldur reminded as red tornado types in his zeta codes for the first tube
"Recgonzied red tornado 1-6"the zeta tube announced
"I agreed to cover for green arrow. He has an inteprosnal event with black canary for a hot date"red tornado said as it sounded like he was teasing him but kaldur ignored it keeping this mole situation to himself for the time being right now.
But sneaking past him was jinny and deliah who quickly typed in their zeta codes as it told him they where here
"Recgonzied b-07 wraith, recognized b-08 hex"it said making him stare at the two for the moment
"Where are you two off to?"kaldur questioned as deliah looked up geared up right now
"Ohhh off to see my mom and maybe do some light patrolling back home. Jinny wanted to see gotham"deliah replied honestly as jinny nodded
"That a problem partner?"She asked as he studied the two before looking away
"It'll be fine but please do not do anything rash. Be prepared for when we are called for a mission"kladur reminded as the two nodded with a bright light enveloping them as they zetaed to the tube in gotham with him eyeing them down making sure to keep that in the back of his mind
Once they where in gotham jinny stumbled a little finding this zeta travel to be a little strange right now as she held back the urge to vomit right now
"I aint gonna get used to this stuff at all"jinny admitted
"Well get used to it…though where making a stop first before we investigate where bane might be"deliah said confusing her
"That would be?"she asked but deliah motioned for her to follow her as she did.
She followed her through the streets as they used the rooftops for quick access to get to their deinsaiton. As they soon arrived that being gotham academy
Gotham academy 6:45pm
As they where sneaking their way in secretly deliah made her way up to a second floor window. With her opening it as jinny climbed up with the use of a nearby wall with some bricks sticking out. But as she climbed in she saw a normal dorm room which confused her.
"What this? We breaking into some nephew or niece of that brute"she asked but deliah sighed
"Nope…but i think that call i made before hand should be…"She paused before a knock was heard at her door. Looking out she smiled opening it to reveal sean and barbara their who quickly entered as sean chuckled
"Heard your little call D i…"he paused before he noticed the cowgirl here as their was an awkward silence as jinny cleared her throat
"Got a problem partner"She asked making him snap out of it
"No my buddy here said he was bringing a friend but a…cowgirl was unexpected"sean said as barbara closed the door quickly before crossing her arms staring at her friend
"Let me guess you wanna talk about getting into the superhero business"barbara replied
"Sort of babs. But this here is jinny hex a teammate of mine like….m'gann"she answered wanting to say something else but hide it for now from them as jinny eyed her rolling her eyes
"Well names sean walsh"sean introduced
"Barbara gordon and yes i'm the police chief daughter"barbara replied to the cowgirl surprise
"Well aint that a interesting source you got access to the police database. More importnalty on that punk bane"jinny gorlwed as the two realized why their friend called them as sean crossed his arms for a moment
"You wanna ask my dad for help finding that brute he fought"Sean asked to jinny surprise right now as deliah nodded
"I do. Besides if jinny here goes on the path of revenge then…well i rather not have my new friend kill someone…maybe she could owe me a favor"deliah said jokingly at the end it seems as jinny paused for a moment sighing
"You got any leads on him"he asked as sean thought for a moment shaking his head for a bit
"Lets go to my dad place he runs a bar and gym on the side. Come on."sean answered
"I'll keep watch here and radio you."barbara said as they made their way to find any leads on this luchador themed villain
Southside of gotham 7:23pm
They traveled to the southside of gotham and from the look of it at night it looked like a terrible place to live. Their were barking and screaming being heard from some corners with police cars patrolling the entire street way. Their where a few sketchy looking ivniduals but camped out in an alleyway where the three
As they where eyeing a two storybuilding that had a welcome sign on it. Along with it having a pair of bright red boxing gloves bathed in neon light as it flashed with it showing it then having a glass of whsikey in hand
"This the place"jinny asked
"Aye its closed for today since my pa has to make some repairs. But he can help us"sean said gesutring for them to follow him
Once they got inside the bar and gym was a strange sight right now. As in the center of the place was a boxing gym with chairs and bleacher for people to sit in to watch. Along with another level having several pieces of workout equipment along with some benches and punching bags. With their being an open bar right now as someone was behind it
That being a man in his late thrites with him having fair skin and freckles on his cheeks. Along with having blue eyes like the sea. Their was also how he had red hair cut short with him having mutton chops and a thick orange mustaches. But he had a muscular build to him with him sporting blue jeans and a dark green t-shirt with a symbol of the fighting irish on it. As he had a wedding ring on his right finger
Sean smiled"Aye pops i brought some very special customers"Sean called out as the man looked over going wide eyed seeing how the two where dressed as he crossed his arms
"Aye my boy what did you do to bring two costumed freaks into my establishment"the man said as deliah internally rolled her eyes
"Same old patrick….man this guy never changes cant let him know who i am"Deliah thought before clearing her throat
"Sir we aint here to cause harm. I'm sure you've heard of well revanant new sidekick"wriath said as the man eyed her for a moment looking surprised a little
"Aye your one of them heroes…did me boy do something to make you all come here"patrick asked
"No and i'm jinny…were actually here since he told us of an associate you had long ago"jinny said as patrick eyed his son who looked away for a moment right now as he sighed
"My boy is this about alejandro . I told that if he hears about me messing with people that are after him he will come for a vengeance"patrick warned as that was bane name and it seems their on friendly terms
"Well that buddy of yours broke my mentor leg. I want payback because if you don;t…"jinny paused before slamming down her revolver making him glare at her before he reached down slamming a short pump action shotgun onto the table
"I got a bigger gun than you las"patrick threatend making her laugh
"Buddy i rather not break your fingers infront of your son. He said you could help"jinny siad for a moment as he eyed his son narrowing his gaze
"I thought last time i told you to not even involve yourself with this stuff. Because the last time you got involved your friend richie became crippled"patrick said making deliah flinch slightly
"Dad it was an accidnet. That guy who did it is still out their and he caused it"sean argued but the man scoffed
"That masked person that someone told me about made him stab your friend. Its their fault hes in that wheelchair….i aint helping someone that might get my boy hurt or worse"patrick said as it made deliah feel hurt hearing that right now as it seems richie hates her for what happened to richie…she doesn't blame him
"Look…we need help he…might cripple or kill someone please"deliah asked as the man paused for a moment for a moment before something came inside his establishment. Looking over the doors where opened to reveal four men but they where dressed strange. As they had suits on but the right side of it was pure white with the other side being pure black like it was covered in ash. Along with that they had fedora on matching the same sides
As one was stepping in they held a bat tapping it as they laughed
"Seems the irish man called in some help. You need to own up to the deal potato picker"the thug said as patrick glared them down
"I aint paying that scumbag anything. I told you before this is my place not yours"sean said as one of the thug sported a tommy gun as the lead thug sighed before tapping the bat for a moment eyeing a pinball machine.
They walked over reeling their bat back before driving it into the machine. The glass shards went everywhere as the machine began to make some noise for a bit before dying down as the thug pointed it toward them
"Show em who owns this side of town boys!"the thug ordered
As they where getting ready to get involved deliah had enough as she charged a blast in her hands as a thug noticed her hands
"Hey uhhh boss that chick aint right"one thug said before she fired off a kinetic blast from her hands. This sent the thug into a nearby wall hard as they groaned with the lead thug pulling out a revolver pointing it at her
"Smoke em!"he ordered as the second pulled a pistol out with the third firing off his tommy gun right now. As jinny qucikly kicked over a table as sean ducked for cover with patrick trying to go for his shotgun but a bullet hit him in the shoulder as he cried in pain ducking down
"Dad!"sean called out as patrick growled seeing where the bullet hit his arm
"I'm fine lad! Dammit"he shouted as gunfire kept happening with deliah taking cover as she had no bullet immunity for her powers. Then an idea came to jinny mind
"We deal with these punks and you help us!"she shouted making him eye her for that deal for a moment before nodding to her
Swiftly jinny broke from cover raising her revolvers as she held her breath. Then fired off two rubber bullets hitting the thug with the automatic weapon stunning them for a moment. As the second hit them in the shoulder making them drop it to the ground
Breaking from her cover she vaulted over before leaping into the air. Before the thug saw it her boot met his jaw sending him onto the ground hard as he groaned. With her being shot at by the second but she was much faster than that
As she swiftly ran forward kicking them down as she struck her fist into their nose with a loud crack being heard. This broke their nose as she stared at the leader who cursed before running out of the bar and gym right now
Jinny was about to pursue"wait! Let him go we gotta treat him"Deliah said gesturing to patrick as jinny was about to chase the thug down but growled walking over
As patrick waved them off"i'm fine let me call the cops…they can help"he said as they made a phonecall real quick
After some time the cops arrived to take the thugs away with paramedcis treating patrick arm wound. They took some statement with gordon their quesitoing them further
"Seems you had trouble with two face thugs eh patrick. You sure you don't want my boys here to help you out"gordon asked
"Aye commissioner i told ye before i can handle them i got friend in high and low places"patrick replied as the officer paused for a moment sighing right now
"Alright fine. But seems you two are new….your that new girl from mexico or something right"gordon asked as deliah nodded
"Names wraith commissioner. Besides…were doing some good work here"wriath replied as he eyed the cowgirl who eyed him down as the mask didn't cover her eyes
"Names hex….you need something old man"She asked as he eyed her for a moment shaking his head
"Nope. just surprised to see someone not dressed as a bat…but i got a lawwomen and….canine version of blackcat"gordon said making deliah roll her eyes as her mask displayed a annoyed emoticon
"If you got enough now jim i need to work on repairing my business"patrick said as he nodded with the police soon ending their inveisgation for now. But as they drove off jinny cleared her throat to remind the man of their deal right now
"You owe me for helping you out….i want some answer on where that muscle bond brute is"jinny reminded as the man sighed
"Fine…it'll take me some time i need to contact some sources most likely i gotta talk to bird."patrick replied
"Bird?"wriath asked
"A litnetuant of that man. He is a hard man to find but hes my mouthpiece to him….i could ask around also to have an audience with him maybe."patrick said as it was better than nothing
After their small brief patrol they soon left the place heading back to a nearby rooftop close to the school. But jinny sighed sitting on the edge holding her head upset that all they got with sean noticing her current demonor
"You okay their"he asked
"Its complicated….right now i just want some answer but i guess this is a decent start"jinny replied with deliah sitting down next to her tapping her on the shoulder
"Hey its better than nothing besides we got a lead now. I wonder how the others are doing"deliah replied with the cowgirl smirking under her mask to lighten things up
"Worried about your alien girlfriend aye darling"jinny said making the girl snap her gaze toward her before looking at sean. As he stared at her for a moment before slowly reaching for his phone right now as he snatched it out
But she growled lunging at him screaming because she was not going to be teased right now for this. As jinny laughed at this hoping to find a lead to the man who hurt the man who took her in.
Gotham northside 8:48 pm
It was the northside of gotham right now as nothing was stirring in the night right now. Nothing but the gang member from early who was running into a building. That being a large building that stuck out like a sort of sore thumb. But it looked like a money laundering business as inside where several others in similar attire like the man
Though he approached one person that right with their back turned away from them as he panted
"Boss…boss we got a problem! That dam irishman you told us to teach a lesson too…hes got protection!"the thug shouted to the man who head turned slightly before he turned around to reveal his appearance
That being a toned built man in his late thirties with him sporting brown hair on the right side and white hair on the left side. While he had on a suit with the right side being white with him having the black side looking charred and colored black. But he wore a black dress shirt on with a white tie. But his face was strange as the right side was normal looking with a black eye but the other was heavil burned and scared. As his lips formed a grin it seems with his hands being burned as well on that side. With him having a pair of golden desert eagles with a smiling drama mask on the right and the other an anger drama mask engraved on it
With him holding a quarter in hand with him twirling it through his fingers as this was harvey dent also known as two face
"I thought i told you to make him listen and have him work with us"harvey asked
"I..i tried boss but…but we had these two heroes…they stopped us"the thug said making harvey eye him down with him changing demnor it seems
As he walked over grabbing the thug by his collar tight"did you let those dam heroes follow you here!?"he shouted with a change in tone for his voice like he was someone else as the man shook his head
"N-no sir! I..i..made sure i wasn't but i…i…"he was stopped as harvey threw him down pulling the coin out and a deagle pointing it at the man face making him flinch
"The coin will decide what i do with you"harvey said flipping it up as the coin came back down. He caught it opening his palm before staring at him then before he knew it a loud shot rang out. As the man fell backwards dead with a hole in his head right now as two face deagle was smoking as he scoffed
"The coin says you die now….i need to get to work"harvey said before looking at something that being a election it seems that is coming up for gotham. As the main candidate was someone named mayor hill and jesscia dent.
Later with deliah and jinny the girl was growling as she snitched to her other friend about her and m'gann. She endured some teasing from meadow on some text as sean kept messing with them but promised to let them know if his dad finds anything as the two where going into the zeta tube
"I can't believe you did that….their gonna tell my mom"Deliah whined
"It'll be fine besides wonder what we missed back at the cave"jinny said as the two took the transporter back to the cave
"Recognized b-07 wraith, recognized b-08 jinny"the computer said in a slight distorted voice. But as they came out the two of them looked in shock to see the place in ruins right now with the team on the ground as the two wondered what happened while they where gone from the cave.
With that it seems that jinny ran into a deadend for her search for bane. But it seems we also got to meet two face, I created him and based him on the arkham verse version of him. Enjoyable adding other villians who haven;t been introduced yet into the main cannon. But what will happen in the next chapter? Also i may not do chapters for certain episodes to save me some time and they may go similiar in the cannon. Thanks for reading!
