Chapter 8
Previously in Secret Rendezvous: A secret (or two or three) was revealed, what is the aftermath?
Hospital
"Why are you pleading with her Finn?" Hope questions the doctor. "You know, turn about is fair play Steffy. You seduced Liam away from me, and it's not like it was the first time..." the blonde is shocked silent when the brunette's hand flew through the air and landed smack on her left cheek.
"Are you kidding me Hope? You and Liam weren't married and and there weren't kids involved. I guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree did it?" Steffy glares at the blonde in front of her.
"I can't believe you Hope! You really are your mother's daughter and I hope that it comes out that the girl in the other room isn't Beth. Because then I will take her back quicker then you can comprehend." The burnett says, her voice full of contempt and anger.
"You don't get it, do you? You always get everything you want, I don't have the self-confidence that you have. Men don't fawn over me like they do for you. I hate you Steffy!" Hope says, looking at her nemesis . Finn comes between the two woman and turns to his wife.
"I really am sorry. I didn't mean to. I told Hope things were over between us once I met you. It was just so hard when I saw her hurting like that when Thomas and Douglas left." he tried to explain, hoping that the woman in front of him was listening. However his hopes were dashed when she looked straight at him and spoke.
'This is bullshit. If you wanted Hope, you should have said something. Yes I love you, but maybe I was wrong when I thought we could have a life together. Maybe I was meant to be a Spencer after all." Steffy says, looking into Liam's eyes. Liam was speechless, was he really going to get everything he could have dreamed, He might be getting a life with Steffy, Kelly, Beth, and Hayes.
"Hello everyone, looks like I just missed the party. Where are Brooke and Ridge? I sent them the video also." says a man walking into the room.
Brooke's Mansion
"We have to go to the hospital Ridge, after seeing this I need to be with my daughter and get some answers." Brooke says, putting her shoes on and grabbing her purse and keys, heading to the front door. Ridge runs after her. They both slide into the car and the woman starts it, putting it into gear and driving off.
"I can't believe what I saw. It worries me what we are about to find at the hospital." the man says, concern in his voice. He was worried about his daughter and was scared of what was going on. Had she seen the video too? And who had sent it? These thoughts kept racing in his head. The car was quiet other than the soft music playing in the car. When they got to the hospital, Brooke parks the car and hurriedly gets out, not even noticing Ridge next to her. She went straight to Beth's room and sees that the child is alone and asleep, but hears raised voices down the hall. Ridge catches up as she heads to the family room where all hell was breaking loose.
"How could you?" Steffy says.
"Why?" says Hope.
"How did you wind up seeing this?" Finn explodes.
Questions are flying everywhere. Ridge and Brooke rush into the room, only to see...
