"It's really you!"

I scramble to my feet and throw my arms around his waist tightly.

"It's really you!"

"Yes, you've said that already. It's me." Riku laughs, as he tousles my hair. "Where's Sora?"

"Riku?"

I look over at Sora, grinning as he hurries over to join our hug. Donald and Goofy stood behind, eyeing Riku curiously.

"Alright you two, that's enough." Riku chuckles, as he pushes us off him.

"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Sora asks.

I giggle and reach up to pinch Riku's cheek gently.

"I hope not!" He replies, swatting my hand away. "It took forever to find you two."

"We've been looking for you, too!" Sora replies, gesturing to Donald and Goofy. "With their help!"

Riku's brow furrows.

"Who are they?"

Donald clears his throat. "My name is-"

"We've visited so many places and worlds!" Sora interrupted, "looking for you!"

"Really? Well, what do you know? I never would have guessed."

I anchor my hands on my hips.

"You never would have guessed we'd be looking for you?"

Riku shrugs. "Who knows, seems like the two of you found some new friends."

Sora rolls his eyes.

"Well, we've been worried about you!"

"Oh and guess what? Sora and Kairi are keyblade masters!" Goofy chimes in.

"Is that what it says here?" Riku asks, snatching the page out from my hand.

"Hey!" I cry, reaching out for the page.

He smirks and raises his arm above his head, knowing that I couldn't reach it. Even if I jumped.

"Give it back!" I demand.

"Alright, catch!" Riku tosses the page at me that I catch expertly as it flies toward me.

"Thank you!" I say, as I neatly tuck the page in my skirt pocket. "I wanted to add that my memories have been coming back to me!"

"Are they?"

I nod. "I'll tell you all about it later!"
"Later?" Donald parrots, "He's not coming with us!"

"What!? Why not!?" Sora exclaims.

"He doesn't wield a keyblade!" Donald replies, "and besides, I don't trust him!" I frown as I turn to face Donald.

"We've spent all this time looking for him! He's our friend! Sorry Riku, forgive Donald, he's just grum-"I turn back to Riku but he was gone.

"Riku?" Sora called out, looking around us before glaring at Donald. "Nice going!"

"I'm looking out for us!" Donald snapped. "He doesn't seem trustworthy!"

As much as I didn't want to admit it, he did seem a little off.

"You just met him!" Sora argued, "Oh well, at least he's okay!"

"I'm sure we'll see him again." I assure him, "Maybe he's been hanging around here in Traverse Town!"

"Hey! Sora! Kairi!"

I turned to see Yuffie as she was running over to us.

"Hi, Yuffie!" I greet, "Long time no see! We found Riku!"

Yuffie halted in front of us. "You did? Great! Hey! Leon wants to see you guys! Come on. I'll show you the way!"

Yuffie had led us to an underground appears there was a hidden door behind the large fountain in district two.

"Hello, again." Leon greeted us with a nod. "This room will be our secret base. It's nice and smug here."

I smile. "Sora and I had a meeting spot similar to this back on our Island."

Aerith smiles at me.

"How sweet. I bet the two of you miss your home."

Sora and I exchange a glum look.

"We just hope that everyones alright." Sora replies.

"But there's hope!" I add, "We ran into Riku but Donald stirred him away!"

Donald rolls his eyes. "Ah phooey, he'll be back!"

"We're glad you wanted to see us!" Goofy says, as he pulls out the colorful gummi block from his pocket. "We found these from a different world!"

Cid peers at the gummi block. "That's a navigational gummi! They can warp you to world's you've previously visited and ones that are further out!"

"That's real somethin'!" Goofy notes. "We'll have to try 'em' sometime!"

"I'll install it on your ship for ya." Cid remarks as Goofy hands him the gummi block.

"What did you need to see us for?" Sora asks Leon.

Leon gestures to Cid.

"You guys ever hear of Maleficent? I hear she's in town."

"Who is she?" Sora asks as I shake my head in response.

"A WITCH!" Cid cries, causing the four of us to jump from his sudden outburst.

"She's the reason this town is full of heartless. Don't take her lightly." Leon connects.

"She's been using the heartless for years." Aerith implies.

"We lost our world. Thanks to her." Leon says, as he leans against the wall and folds his arms across his chest.

Cid chews on the toothpick in his mouth. "One day a swarm of heartless took over our world!"

"Nine years ago." Leon shakes his head.

Nine years ago? Was that around the time I met Aqua?

"I got out of that mess and came here with these guys." Cid adds, chewing harder on his toothpick I was expecting it to snap into two.

"Our ruler was a wise man." Leon continued, "Named Ansem. He dedicated his life to studying the heartless."

"His report should tell us how to get rid of the heartless." Cid suggests.

"Where is the report?" Sora asks.

Leon shrugs. "We don't know. It got scattered when our world was destroyed."

"I'm sure Maleficents got most of the pages." Cid states, shaking his head. "Maleficent has a power so strong from the darkness within her heart, she is able to manipulate the heartless. She continuously uses this power to take over other worlds."

"That's awful." Donald shrieks.

"We have to stop her and find the pages to Ansem's report!" I remark. "When we find Riku again, he could help us!"

But would he?

"You two are very brave." Aerith gives me a warm smile. "Please, come to us if you need anything. We'll be happy to help."

"You guys should check out the shops while you're here!" Yuffie suggests, "They got some pretty neat stuff!"

(Sora's POV)

"So, do you think we'll be able to find all of the pages to Ansem's report?" I question.

"We just have to believe. "Kairi replies from her seat, she was engrossed in a small violet colored notebook.

"Hey, whatcha got there?" I ask, getting up from my seat.

"A journal! I bought it when we were at the item shop picking up potions and ethers. I thought I'd journal our adventure so far!"
She smiles as she hands me her notebook. I plop down in her lap causing her to giggle as I open to the first page.

"Did you buy colored pencils too?"

I grin at her as I hold up the page of a perfectly drawn and colored heartless, the one we first encountered on our Island.

Kairi grins back.

"I might have, yes."

"Well, these are really good." I reply, as I observe the information she's written. "You wrote about the worlds too?"

"And everyone we've met! I don't want to ever forget."

"What does it say about me?" Donald asks.

I smirk as I flip through the pages of Kairi's notebook, looking for the page about Donald. "Probably that you're an angry, loud duck! That's what I would write!"

"HEY!" Donald shouts.

"I WAS RIGHT! It says: Donald, Royal Magician. Skilled in magic, but can be short tempered and stubborn."

Goofy chuckles.

"It's kinda true!' He agrees.

"Ah, what do you know? You big palooka!" Donald fires back.

"Well, I know we've reached another world!" Goofy replies.

Donald sighs impatiently. "I can see that! I'm the one driving!"

"Lets see if we can find any of those pages to Ansem's report! Or those pages to Merlin's book!" I spring from Kairi's lap and over to Donald.

He glares at me. "Don't even think about asking me to drive!"

"Wow, it's hot here!" I exclaim, pulling at my shirt in an attempt to fan myself.

"We must be far out east!" Kairi says, "In these climates, the weather here is usually dry and sunny, due to the lack of clouds and high pressure zone!"

"Is there any way that the potions can hydrate us?" I ask Donald, who rolls his eyes. "Hey! I'm going to die of thirst!"

I look around the abandoned market around us.

"Where is everyone?" I wonder, as I walk over to an empty stall. "Helloooooo?"

I peer behind it, hoping to find a drink. "Can anyone sell me water?"

"Or suntan lotion?" Kairi asks.

I look over to see her peering over the counter next to me. We both laugh.

"Yeah, you'll definitely need suntan lotion. You burn so easily, Kai." I replied. "Maybe the potions will heal a sunburn!"

"Hey! Maybe there is some water in these barrels!" Goofy suggests.

I look over to see him holding a red barrel in his hands. "It's quite heavy!"

Just then, six spider-like legs sprouted from the sides of the barrel. Goofy shrieks and drops it out of surprise.

I summon my keyblade and whack it away from us, just as a scream from across the market place fills the air.

"Someone's in trouble!" Donald exclaims.

"Let's go help them!" Kairi remarks.

We all nod and follow her through the market, I hope that we weren't too late.
