Yo. Author here. sorry for not posting in a while, i got caught up in things, but now, im back! To make up for it, this chapter, which you might have noticed, is longer than my others. infact, im going to try and make all my chapters as long as this one. Once again, sorry for the long and unexpected hiatus.

On we go!

"Power. Power is something I've craved for my entire short life on this world. I wanted to become the strongest. And to do that, I more than likely needed a domain expansion. This could be what I need to stand above the rest," I though to myself as we walked on the cracked dirt path that lead to our garden of above average size. Our gardener Jotaro (IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE?!) was neatly clipping the grass around freshly planted roses. The natural fragrance entered my nose, relaxing muscles I didn't even know I had clenched.

Yet even that could not stop me from shaking in anticipation.

This will be the first domain expansion, I'll ever see-that isn't on a tv screen of course.

Although, throughout the entire anime and manga, there isn't much mention of the Gojo family, but if Satoru's mother -my mother- had a domain expansion, I can not see Gege reasonably ignoring that.

And that train of thought is what has led me to thinking that this is an AU. However, without contact with anyone outside the Gojo clan, I couldn't verify my idea.

Pondering the possibilities of this being an AU further, I almost ran into my mother, who had stopped.

Catching myself, I looked around and realized that I was so engrossed in my thoughts, I didn't notice that we had entered a large open field.

"This should be good enough," said my mother after surveying the area.

"Just hold on the me Kānryo, that should protect you from my domain's effect."

Following her orders, I gripped tightly on to her arm as turned to face a tree.

And then she said these words, the summoning of the first ever domain expansion I have seen in real life:

Domain Expansion: Wasteland Of the Fallen Samurai

We were transported to a grey field, multiple of blades of different sizes and appearance, all imbedded into the floor.

"In a domain expansion, all of your techniques are guaranteed to hit, unless you use a simple domain, which is what your father will be teaching you and your brother, or you counter with your own domain."

"Now domain's come with their own special abilities, normally reflecting the person's cursed energy. My domain allows me to manipulate all of the swords in my domain, and, at the cost of my domain shattering in 1 minute, and the majority of my cursed energy, I can summon fallen samurai minions, which will scale to my opponents strength, giving me edge over my enemies."

And with that, I saw one of the most fear inducing, yet most beautiful moments of my life.

The dormant swords stirred, tearing themselves out of the ground, and swirling around my mother like the most sharp tornado known to man.

Then with a mere flick of her wrist, the swords went flying to every tree in the vicinity, slicing them to ribbons in seconds.

All I could do was watch.

Then just as soon as it began, it ended.

All I could say was, "Epic."

"Epic indeed," said my mother, who was on her knees panting. To be honest, in the anime we heard a lot about how draining domains are, but we haven't actually seen a person that affected by it. Now, looking at my mother, I could understand why domains are a sorcerers last resort. It only lasted 3 minutes, yet she was already exhausted.

After that breath-taking display of power, the domain dispersed, returning us to the field, now missing quite a few trees.

Pain. That was all I knew. Stomach-curdling, head-shattering, terrible pa- AHHHHHHHHHHHH

"Get up, mom told me to throw more rocks at you. DODGE!"

And there was my torturer, servant of the evil people who had cap- "STOP THAT SATORU, IM HAVING A FU- freaking MONOLOGUE HERE!"

"No."

Now then, you are probably wondering why this is happening correct? Well, all of this is an elaborate torture system under the guise of my training my reflexes with my sharingan, but I know better than that. They only want to punish me from breaking 6 plates while I was testing my accuracy throwing them into the sink.

I mean, they were china plates, but still, they should not break that easily.

Dodging rocks, seeing one coming but not being able to dodge (since my body is nowhere near as fast as my eyes) , or just being blindsided because I don't have the FREAKING BYAKUGAN!

Despite that, after the grueling hours of pain, I had to reluctantly accept that I had gotten better at dodging - still not forgiving them for that though.

But at least I can go to the park now! Why a fully grown adult in a kid's body is excited to go to the park, I don't know, nor do I care.

Arriving at the park, there were a few other people there, namely Rasen, Shi and Goma - who were all triplets, running around in the lush grass and hiding behind oak trees.. (Any reply that tells me the little easter egg I've put there will get a shout out, I will pick completely randomly! Your clue is that it is in the text above me and it has something to do with the big three. Tell me if I should do more of this!)

"Yo," I waved, Satoru running ahead of me, "Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, we are just playing tag, would ya like to join us Kan?" replied Shi, overexcited as always, bouncing on the obstacle course.

Kan? That's a new one. Certainly better than the others I've had cough cough egghead cough.

I was in the middle of saying sure before a certain blue eyed menace tapped me on the shoulder and yelled that I was It.

Of course, like any normal person would do, I exacted my vengeance on him, before turning my gaze on the others.

Needless to say, they had to change the rules. Fun times!

We played until the sun was beginning to dip into the ground, and the night was starting to rise. Gomu had fallen asleep, and Rasen and Satoru were barely standing, yet still wanted to play. Of course, since me and Shi were the only sane ones, we had to drag our siblings back home.

As I walked down the street (with an unconscious Satoru on my back) I was almost sure I saw a man watching us.

Heh, I must've just been seeing things.

A few days later

I was in the lotus position, on my bed. Why?

Well, the pure amount of fanfiction and anime mc's who have unlocked their powers through meditation is more than I can count on one finger.

Remembering the countless amounts of media I have watched, I closed my eyes and tried to find something akin to a ball of energy deep within my soul.

Understandably, I fell asleep first. Seeing that attempt as a complete bust, and not wanting to spend hours meditating once more, I rose from my bed and slipped into my slippers that laid on the soft blue carpet my bed rested on. I snuck out through my window, and using the roof tiles for leverage, swung up onto on the roof.

I looked around from my vantage point, seeing people I know and people I don't, all getting on with their day. I felt like a king, surveying the land I owned. With that, I felt the want to try again at unlocking my cursed technique, and in act that could be nothing else that pure stupidity closed my eyes once more.

As they say, hindsight is 20/20.

Though maybe that was a good thing.

At around half an hour I felt...something. I couldn't quite describe it. It was like...an unrelenting force of negativity, chained down my subconscious. It was right there, ready to be claimed by me

I reached out, and my fingers brushed against it. As I made contact, I was snapped out of my mind and the fact that I was falling of my ROOF was brought to my attention. At that point, there was nothing that I could do except grasp futilely at air. However, right when my face was about to make contact with the floor...something clicked.

The entire world went black.

And then I reappeared on my bed, like nothing ever happened. My hands flew to my body, patting me down to check if I was okay. I mean, nothing felt wrong, but you could never be sure, could you? After confirming that I was indeed, alright, I began to wonder what the fuck just happened. I fell off a roof, and now I'm on my bed. After around 2 minutes of overthinking things -like normal- I came to 2 conclusions. Either I was dreaming, or that was my cursed technique. For my sanity, I chose cursed technique. With that in mind, I decided my technique was teleporting. So before running to my parents like to over eager child I was, I wanted to test it out. Can you really blame me?

So that was what led to me going around 5 ft away from my bed. I focused on the want, the need, the desire to go to my bed, to my soft blankets.

Sadly, some cosmic entity gave me the middle finger, and instead of me going to my blankets, the blankets came to me, as if they were dragged by an invisible force. Before I could react - knew I should've had my sharingan on dammit- it impacted my face, sending me to the floor. As I rose once more, throwing the blankets off me, I was understandably confused. How does teleportation relate to telekinesis? The closest thing I could think of was that they both had some control over space, with teleportation twisting it and telekinesis- wait forget that, telekinesis does not have anything to do with the manipulation of space.

After quite a bit of mental deliberation, I came to the conclusion that I don't give a fuck because I'm getting more powers. Then I ran downstairs, excited to show my family my cursed technique. I ended up running in to Satoru on my way, and before i almost knocked him into the vase by the window, he decided to follow me to see what I was so excited about.

I was initially planning on surprising them, but my brother's...loud entrance stabbed, tortured and burned alive those dreams.

Refusing to look up from her book -which was oddly a fantasy book- she asked "What now?"

Not allowing her dismissive attitude stop me, I told her what I thought my ct was and how I unlocked it.

By the end of my retelling however, Satoru was rolling on the rug and my mother looked absolutely furious.

"It took you that long to unlock your cursed technique!" laughed Satoru "Nah that's som-" continued my brother, before he got abruptly got cut off by my mother.

"Satoru, go to your room now." said, or rather demanded my mother, leaving no room for arguement. As Satoru slinked away like a sad puppy, my mother turned her full attention on to me.

Normally, I'm not scared of my own mother, but at this moment, I could feel sweat trickling down my neck as she turned her full attention to me.

"So you snuck up onto the roof, which you weren't ALLOWED TO DO, and then you fell of it?"

Refusing to meet her eyes, I scratched my neck and muttered a quiet "yes"

"And then" she continued "Instead of going straight to me or your Dad, you decided to experiment?"

Stepping back in fear of her wrath, I felt that I was going to have a very bad time.

Hope you enjoyed!
