Chapter 2: Admitting These Feelings

She blushes deeply and Jedediah notices so he removes his hands, this makes her grab one, which makes him blush, she leans her head in and says with smile, "I think you're really handsome. Please don't get mad at me for this.", she then kisses his lips deeply. This shocks the cowboy, his blush deepens, just a few seconds in he pulls away and says, "I ain't mad, Rebecca. But we just met. We should wait on dis here romance." She nods and says, "I understand, I just got carried away.", he smiles, "Say have you met any of the others here?"

She shakes her head, "This is my first night here.", "Well let me introduce you to my good pal, Octavius, he lives in the display next to mine." She smiles, telling him that she'd love to meet him, so the two go to the edge of the display and Jedediah grabs his rope from his belt and lowers it to the ground. He then looks at his friend and tells her, "Now watch for all these giants they barely look out for us.", she nods, he then goes down the rope first, she follows after, she lands on the ground and Jedediah tells her to follow him; which she does, once they're below the Roman display Jedediah yells up to his friend, "Oct! It's me!" Octavius luckily hears this and looks down to see his pal and the woman, "Ah Jedediah, what's going on?", "I'm introducing this here lady to everyone here, I wanted to start with you, so lower a rope so we can come up."

Octavius and after a minute he lowers a rope down to them, the two climb it and once they're at the top Jedediah gets there first then takes Rebecca's hand pulling her up. Octavius then walks up and says to the woman, "Hello madam, I'm general Octavius. Welcome to my display." She holds her hand out to him and says, "I'm Rebecca, I'm the new exhibit from North Carolina."

The other man takes her hand, kisses it and says, "Might I admit, you are very pretty.", this makes her chuckle a bit, she finds this cute that another man seems to like her in the way she likes the cowboy, she tells the Roman, "Why thank you, you flatter me." The general nods, he then asks Jedediah, "So how have things been since the tablet returned here?" Jedediah smiles and tells his friend that things have been pretty good, but he admits that he misses Gigantor, the woman asks the cowboy, "Who's this Gigantor you speak of?" Jedediah looks her way, he then tells her that he's referring to the museum previous nightguard, Octavius tells the woman that the man's actual name was Larry.

The lady asks what happened to this man, and both men tell her that he retired as nightguard after they with other exhibits went to London to fix the tablet. The woman becomes confused, "What tablet?", Octavius tells her that it's the Tablet of Akmunrah, the pharoh who lives here to, Jedediah then tells Rebecca that this tablet is why them and all the other exhibits come to life at night.
