Soon enough, Optimus, Chief Burns, Chase, Predaking and Lancex made their way to the headquarters of the Rescue Bots and made it in record time. Heatwave greeted Optimus, Chase, and Chief Burns, but wasn't sure who the other two were and asked about them. "I will introduce them when the rest of your team arrives" Optimus answered the unspoken question. Heatwave merely nodded.
After a few more moments, the rest of the rescue bot team members arrived and were a bit stunned to see Optimus there and with two unknown bots to boot. "May I introduce Predaking and Lancex" Optimus announced, in front of Chase, Heatwave, Blades, and Boulder. Predaking waved carefully while Lancex bowed slowly. Heatwave and Boulder took little notice of Predaking, but Lancex looked kind of cute. They secretly wondered if the bot was available to be a mate, but that hope was dashed when Optimus carefully explained that they were working on a relationship. The two rescue bits were a bit sad but they were happy for Optimus. Besides, the rescue bots knew that they would be kept busy as Griffen rock was seldom calm and completely serene.
"My friends, the war we were fighting is now over, Megatron as we knew him is no more and hence no longer a threat. I will update your mission as well. You may interact with the people of Griffen rock as transformers. You are no longer under the command to hide yourselves. Use your discretion wisely." Optimus announced, shocking the others. And while Blades, Boulder, and Chase are satisfied while Heatwave sensed that there was more to this. Seeing that Heatwave realized that there was more to all of this, Optimus asked to speak to Heatwave in privacy elsewhere and Heatwave readily agreed and the pair headed off for their private discussion, leaving the others behind.
Lancex didn't like that Optimus has gone elsewhere, as Lancex wasn't sure he could trust these bots, but he would trust that Optimus knew what he was doing. Lancex stayed near Predaking, though not too close. While there, Lancex sits down and then brings forth one of his many unusual weapons. Chase, Boulder, and Blades weren't sure exactly what to think, but being the polite bots that they were, they went over to talk to these new bots so that they could learn more about them and what was going on.
