Thank you all for the reviews and staying with me. I just can't say that enough. Well we are getting down to the wire. Luncheon with Ana and the girls dinner with Christian and the guys. Time for gifts from the happy couple.

Chapter 9 is a jump now that everyone is here for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. First we are having Ana's bridal luncheon at Chef Ronaldo's restaurant.
Christian is having an early dinner with the guys at Chef Ronaldo's restaurant.
Just a small recap of Chapter 8
They talk about the wedding preparations Christian wasn't sure who to ask. Either Welch or Barney. So Ana made it easier for him,
She asks Gail to be one of her bridesmaids. So now it was even and that helped Christian make his decision.
Christian decided to Facetime Barney and Welch and told them he and Ana were getting married. Then he asks them to be his groomsmen along with Jason and Luke and he would be flying them to Italy for the wedding.
Of course Elliot is the best man.
"Ana Facetimed Maddie, Cora and Jennifer and told them she was getting married but they already figured that out. They, along with Gail, are her bridesmaids.
Christian took Ana out to the treehouse for a romantic dinner and he proposed to her again and of course she said yes again. He gave her another ring for her right hand, a beautiful five carat round diamond ring with a circle of smaller diamonds around it.
No ring can replace gran's.
She was surprised to see the whole family standing behind her but she was happy.
Christian got choked up with tears in his eyes when Ray said he was proud to call him his son.
Now Chapter 9
"Good morning my love, are you ready for the day?"
"Good morning love yes I am. I can't wait to see the girls and give them the gifts I bought them. I know I talked to them last night after they all got to their hotel rooms but I can't wait to see them."
"I can just imagine what this luncheon is going to be like. Are any of the ladies coming back with you after your luncheon?"
"Yes they are, they are all bringing their gowns and Maddie's fiancée is coming with her."
"Ok sounds good. Let's go and eat breakfast. I believe someone beat you to it this morning."
"Yeah I agree with you they did. Smells good doesn't it?"
"Yes it does."
They get up and do their morning routines, dress and start their day. Time for showers after breakfast.
"Good morning everyone. How are you all? Something smells very good."
They all say good morning at one time.
"Paula and Elliot fixed breakfast. Would you both like a cup of coffee?"
"Yes gran we would. I will get it."
"Christian sit your behind down I will get your and Ana's coffee."
"Yes ma'am."
"Good morning love birds breakfast is ready."
"Thank you Elliot."
They all sat around the table and had a lovely conversation as they ate breakfast and had coffee.
"Christian would you please get the container that is on the counter and bring it in here please."
"Of course angel."
He smiles at her.
"What is in that container, little lady? Gran and granmomma threatened us me especially if we opened it."
Everyone laughs.
"Just wait and you will see."
Christian walks back in with the covered container and sits it on the table in front of Ana.
Ana smiles her thanks and looks at everybody.
"Are you all ready for a sweet treat with your coffee?"
"Yes I am. Oh did you make what I think I smelt cooking last night?"
"Well if you will be quiet she will show us."
"I am sorry gran."
"It's alright El I know I can't wait either."
Ana opens the container and everyone gets a whiff of her cinnamon rolls.
"Here love I have dishes for the cinnamon rolls.
Christian gives Ana a plate and she puts a cinnamon roll on it and continues until everyone has one.
"Would anyone like more coffee?"
"I will get it grandpa."
Elliot gets up and walks into the kitchen and brings the carafe of coffee back to the table.
"Oh my god I am in heaven. These are so good. Is that all you made? Please tell me no."
"No Elliot I made more. I made enough for all of us. I also made some for Chef Ronaldo and his staff."
"Did you forget about poor Barney? He is in love with your cinnamon rolls."
"Lord no I didn't forget about Barney or Welch. I have some for them too."
"Ana I am sorry to disturb your meal but I was wondering what time you and Gail are planning on leaving for the luncheon?"
"Oh no problem Dav we are just talking. I want to leave around eleven. Is that alright with you Gail and Paula?"
"Yes Ana, that is fine with me. How about you Paula?"
"I am good with it."
"Ok eleven it is. It will just be me and our guys taking y'all. We don't need Bertelli security today. I am bringing six guys with us in two cars."
"Ok you know what is best thank you. The girls and Maddie's fiancée will be coming back with us."
"Ok well we will need three cars so everyone won't be cramped up together."
"Sounds good."
"Now I need to shower and get ready. Thank you for a wonderful delicious breakfast Paula and El. It was very good."
"You are welcome Ana glad you enjoyed it."
"Alright now guys, us ladies are going to get ready. Y'all can do the dishes please."
"Yes Paula love we will take care of it."
Christian and Ana walk to their bedroom and take a shower, no time for love making right now.
Ana walks into the closet and comes out with a beautiful white dress on and white Louboutin heels. She has her hair up on one side with the lovely comb that Paula gave her.
Christian walks up behind her and slips a beautiful diamond teardrop necklace over her head. He turns her around and the teardrop is nestled between her breasts.
"Oh my goodness love this is beautiful thank you."
"You are welcome, my angel. Now I guess you need to be going. You don't want to be late. I love you and you look gorgeous."
"Thank you my darling and yes I need to be going. I will see you in a few hours."
They walk out of the bedroom and down the hall to the family room.
"Paula, that color mauve looks good on you and you Gail that dark red looks lovely on you. Are we ready to go?"
They both say thank you.
"Yes we are. Jason has already called Dav they are waiting for us outside."
"Good well then shall we go and meet the girls?"
"Yes ma'am we shall."
The drive into town isn't long.
They arrive in front of the restaurant.
"Dav can you or one of the guys take a few pictures of us out here and then a couple inside?"
"Yes ma'am I will do it. The guys are going to be looking out for all of y'all."
"Alright, thank you. Here come the girls."
Dav and Nick open the doors for the ladies and help them out of the car.
All you can hear is hollering and squealing from all of them.
"Oh my goodness aren't you a sight to see my friend. I have missed you little Annie Rose."
Maddie grabs Ana and hugs her tight, squeezing the stuffing out of her.
"Maddie, it is good to see you. I am so glad you could make it."
"Ladies don't y'all look lovely."
"Thank you Ana. Oh girl it is so good to see you up and finally moving around."
"Thank you Cora and how are you my friend?"
"I am doing great and the flight was very relaxing."
"Hello Ana, it is good to see you. How are you doing?"
"Hey Jennifer I am doing fantastic thank you and how are you doing my friend?"
"Ana I am wonderful and thank you for letting me be a part of this special time in your life."
"Oh sweet girl, you are welcome but you don't have to thank me."
"Ladies, can I get a few pictures before we go inside?"
"Oh course Dav, where do you want us?"
"Here in front of the restaurant where we can see the name. Just stand close together and smile."
"Alright now change sides with each other just keep Ana in the middle of y'all."

"Ok ladies let go and eat. I am hungry even though I just ate this morning."
As soon as they walk in Chef Ronaldo is waiting for them himself.
"Welcome to Ristorante Ronaldo. If you beautiful ladies will follow me I will show you to your table."
"Oh my goodness Chef Ronaldo, this is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for making my day special."
"You are a very dear and special young lady to me. Even though I have not known you for long. I just wanted to make this a day you will remember with all your other special days to come."
"Thank you so much. I would like to introduce you to my bridal party."
"Of course I would love to meet them all."
"Well you have been talking to Paula on the phone arranging the cakes. She is in a lovely mauve dress. Gail is in the lovely red dress you met her at the is my friend from way back Maddie in the lovely pink dress, Cora is next to Maddie in the lovely light mauve dress and Jennifer is in the lovely teal dress."
"Welcome ladies, I hope you all have a healthy appetite. Would you all like a glass of my finest house wine?"
"Yes, that would be wonderful, thank you Chef Ronaldo."
"My pleasure ladies and I will Rebecca bring it out to you. As I am going to step away and go prepare everyone's meal."
"Thank you sir I can't wait to taste whatever you prepare for us."
He smiles and walks off to his kitchen.
"Hello ladies my name is Rebecca and I will be your server for today. I have brought your wine. Ms. Steele, would you please try it and make sure it is to your liking? Per Chef's request ma'am."
"Yes I will be happy to but I am sure it will be fine."
Ana lifts the glass to her nose and swirls the wine around to smell the aroma and then she takes a sip and swallows.
"Rebecca, please tell Chef it is delicious, thank you."
"Yes Ms. Steele I will and he will be so happy you like it. We will have your meals out soon."
Paula stands up.
"Ladies a toast to the bride to be my best friend Anastasia Rose Steele."
"Here, here to Anastasia."
They all say clinking their wine glasses together.
"Ladies, there is a present for each of you on the table with your name on it. It is a little something I wanted to give each of you. I put a lot of thought into each gift and I believe I found what was just right for each of you."
"Oh Ana you didn't have to but thank you so much. You have done so much for all of us already."
"Do you want us to open them now or when we go back to our hotel?"
"Either way you want to do it is fine with me."
"Let's eat first and then open them. What do you say ladies?"
They all nod their heads and agree with Maddie.
"Alright that is fine with me. Paula, I would like for you to open your gift first?"
"Alright I will thank you."
"Oh my lord would you look at all that food that is coming our way."
"Oh it looks so good and smells devine."
"Ms. Steele and lovely ladies. I am going by what Ms. Steele requested: a light but healthy luncheon so I made some of my favorite finger foods and some you will need a fork for. I hope you all enjoy your meal. Would you all like more wine or some other beverage?"
"We are fine for now but wine will be lovely later. Thank you Chef Ronaldo. Looks very delicious."
"I will leave you ladies now."
"My goodness Ana, would you look at this meal? If this is just a luncheon my word what is the reception and wedding food going to be like I wonder."
"Well ladies I don't know about y'all but I can't wait to try all of this."
They all take a plate and then start passing the food plates around to each other.

For dessert Chef Ronaldo make Ana a Lemon cake with Lemon and creamy buttercream frosting
There is also a Prosecco Bar with everyone could top off their Prosecco with their choice of juice or fruit
Coffee with Italian Sweet Cream and a tray of mini Biscoff cookies
Raspberry Lemonade and Iced Tea

"Gail I know what you mean I can't either and I so want to try my lemon cake not to mention the Biscoff cookies they look very good."
"Ana, try the Raspberry Tea. It is delicious. I have never had one before."
Ana tries the tea.

"I would like to try the Italian coffee with the sweet cream. Anyone else?"
"I think we would all like to try it. I see everyone smiling and nodding yes."
Just then Rebecca walks back over to them.
"I will be more than happy to pour you each a cup."
"Thank you Rebecca."
"Ladies, you are welcome."
"I will go and get some help to clear the table if you are all finished."
"Yes dear we are but I need you to box up my cake and all the sweets please."
"Yes ma'am I surely will."
"Ms. Steele, how was your meal?"
"Chef Ronaldo you have out done yourself. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for making my day special. I have something for you and your staff."
Ana motions for Dav to come over.
"Chef Ronaldo, here are my cinnamon rolls for all of you and your families. I hope you all enjoy them."
"Oh mercy thank you but I was not expecting them today but thank you so much."
"You are very welcome. Now we are going to sit here for a little while and let our lovely meal settle and have some more coffee."
"Yes Ms. Ana take all the time you want and I will see Mr. Grey and his group this evening. Please tell him his food will be as he requested also."
"Let me guess they are eating steak, potatoes and a salad."
"Yes ma'am but a little more that I am adding to their meal."
"Alright he will be delighted with whatever you make them. Would you please send Rebecca back over if she isn't busy? Thank you again."
"Yes ma'am I sure will. Have a good day and I will see you at your wedding rehearsal next."
"Thank you and you too Chef."
"Rebecca, thank you for taking care of us today. We have enjoyed your hospitality and all the help you have given us. This is for you young lady to enjoy and have a wonderful day."
"Oh my goodness gracious Ms. Steele I can not accept this, it is too much."

"Thank you ma'am so very much. This will help with my college."
"You are very welcome. How many more years and do you have a career planned out?"
"I have one more year of college then I am going to medical school to be a heart specialist. My mother was one but she has retired now. I want to follow in her footsteps."
"Sounds like you have your goal down pat. Good luck my dear. My mother was a heart specialist before she passed away. I never knew her but my daddy and granmomma talk about her all the time."

Rebecca walks off with the rest of the dishes.

"I can understand that Cora. I didn't either."
"Jennifer how about you did you know what you wanted to be?"
"It was between a pediatrician and an FBI Agent. I decided on the FBI. I wanted to help children but I know I would have gotten too close to them."
Gail, what did you want to be?"
"Ana I just wanted to graduate college and marry the man of my life. We were together all through high school and college. I worked in a law office while in college and was going to be a lawyer.
My boyfriend/ fiancée later was going to medical school after college to be a doctor. We got married two years after we graduated and were married for ten years. He passed away from a heart attack."
"Oh wow I am so sorry to hear that."
"It's alright I have my memories of him and I together that is what matters. I loved him so much. Now I have Jason and I couldn't ask for a better man. Oh I never became a lawyer Michael wanted me to stay home."
"I am so happy for you and Jason. He looks at you like Christian looks at me."
"Well enough about me. Let's let Paula open her gift first ladies."
"Of course Paula, please open your gift. I hope you like it."
Paula looks at the beautiful paper and then looks at Ana and rips it off smiling at her.
"Remember we used to do this with our birthday and Christmas presents? Look at each other and then rip the pretty paper to shreds."
"Yes Paula, I remember we had fun back then. I also remember granmomma getting on to us cause we left paper everywhere."
"Yes we did do that."
"Now before you open it I want to say something to you."
Ana stands up and looks at her best friend in the whole wide world.
"Paula Donovan we have known each other since we were knee high to a grasshopper as granmomma would say. You are my very best friend, my partner in crime when we were little. You have been there for me when I had no one else close by. Hell you would drop everything and catch the red eye just to make sure I was alright and not going crazy.
Now let me finish before I start crying. I will say I love you my best friend always.
Paula having you with me now and standing by my side on my wedding day makes it more special. You are an irreplaceable part of our cherished memories and I am grateful for the part you will play on my wedding day.

Paula opens the top of the Cartier red box and gasps.

"You are very welcome, Cora. I am so happy you like it."
"Ana oh my how did you know what I wanted? I love this engraved necklace with my initial on it. I have been wanting to get one for a while now."

Jennifer opens the other box and gasps loudly.

"I hope you all are happy with your gifts and I want to thank each one of you for standing up with. Each one of you is very special to me. I wouldn't want anyone else but you lovely ladies beside me on my special day as I marry the man who I love more than anything in this world. Again thank you all."
"Now it is time to leave. Maddie, call your fellow and have him meet us outside the hotel and we will be there to pick him up."

"Dav we are ready to leave."
They all get up and walk out of the restaurant with Dav and Nick.
As Dav pulls up in front of the hotel they not only see Maddie's fiancée but the doctors and their wives.
"Dav please open my door. I would like to speak to our doctors for a moment."
"Well I be if it's not Ms. Ana. How are you doing my dear? How is Christian?"
"Dr. Tate, we are both doing very well and how are you all doing? how are you doing?"
"Ana, Beverly and I are doing very well thank you. Thank you for inviting us to Italy."
"Oh sir, you are quite welcome. Thank you both for accepting our invitations."
"Dr. Wingate and Dr. Richardson should be along in a few minutes. We are going out to eat. Have you ladies eaten?"
"Yes sir we have. We had a bridal luncheon. May I recommend the Ronaldo restaurant. It is very good and he and his staff are catering my wedding. We just ate there."
"Very well we will walk over there I am assuming it is not far."
"No sir it is not. It's just around the corner. We are in the cars because we are going home. Christian is coming to town later to have an early dinner with his groomsmen."
"Yes I was talking to Barney and Welch and they both mentioned a groomsmens dinner tonight."
"If you all would like to come back with Christian and the guys just give him a call and they will have enough cars to bring you all to the house. Christian and I would like to talk to all of you even your wives cause this will involve them as well."
"That sound good to you Beverly?"

"Good it is all set then. We will be waiting on your call. Enjoy your meal and tell them I sent you all over there. Chef Ronaldo and Rebecca will take care of y'all."

Ana and the crew made it home.
"Christian I talked to Dr. Tate and his wife Beverly at the hotel as we were waiting for Maddie's fiancée to come down and join us. They are going to call you before you all leave to come back home after your dinner."
"I told him we wanted to talk to him and our other doctors and their wives. So I invited them back to the house later tonight. Just be on the lookout for a call from him."
"Alright love that sounds good. Yes we might as well talk to them tonight because they will all be leaving after the wedding. I think it is a good idea to do it now."
"I thought so too. Nothing like the present time to do this. I think they will be interested in what we have to say. I just hope they want to help or know other doctors that would like to contribute to the cause."

"I would love to see all their faces when that happens. I am sure you both can pull some strings and make it happen. They are all in different prisons right?"
"Yes they are all in solitary confinement scattered all over the United States. None of them are anywhere close to each other and none of them can make phone calls or have access to any electronic devices."
"I just wonder how they are doing. I hope each one of them is suffering and just praying that no one ever lets it out that you two are supposed to be dead. Oh my god how do you think they all will feel after they find out?"

"Are you all going back with us when we leave or staying here?"

"Oh god Ana angel I love you so much. How was that? Are you feeling better now love?"
"Lord yes I am, let me take care of you now?"
"No, no. no I am good you go back out to our guests and you can take care of me tonight after everyone leaves."
"I want to now love."
"I am fine angel that was for you. Now scoot I will be out very soon. I love you my angel."
Ana walks up to him and kisses him lovingly and smiles at him.
"Boo I will be waiting for you in bed after we say goodnight to all our guests later. Then I am going to make you feel so good. I love you my sweet darling man."
She walks over to the dresser and grabs a pair of panties and puts them on and looks at Christian and walks out the door.
Damn that was hot mercy how I love that man.
She walks back to the family room.
"Would anyone like something else to drink while we wait on Christian and the guys?"
"No Ana we are all fine thank you dear."
"Ladies I would like for you all to come back here early tomorrow and get ready for the rehearsal dinner? I have some ladies coming over to give us massages and manicures, the works, hair and facials. What do you all say?"
"I say hell yeah what time are your guys picking us up?"
They all laugh at Maddie.
"I will have Dav and Nick come and get y'all at lunch time. That will give us plenty of time to do lunch and then get pampered."
"Alright we will see you at noon Ana."
"Randall you are welcome to come with Maddie if you would like to or you can come with everyone else. Christian and the guys will be here probably in the movie room or shooting pool or something."
"I will come with the ladies and hang out with the men folk."
Christian walks into the family room with the guys.
"Boo the ladies and Randall are coming back here at noon tomorrow so we can get pampered and Randall is going to hang out with all you guys."
"Sounds good to me. Are we all ready to go?"
"Yes sir we are."
"I will see you later this evening angel. I love you."
"I love you too sweetheart. Enjoy your time with the guys and Chef Ronaldo said he had something special for you. He made me a lemon cake. I will see you later love you now y'all get a move on so you won't be late. Oh love, I am not sure how long Rebecca is working today. She was our server and she was absolutely wonderful."
"I will ask for her. I am sure Chef Ronaldo will be waiting for us at the door."
"Yes he probably will be he was waiting for us."
"Alright love we are going to go now. See you later this evening."
He kisses her and they walk out the door.
"We will see you at lunch time Ana have a good night."
"You too ladies goodnight."
"Now Annie Rose, what are we having for lunch tomorrow?"
"I am thinking my famous lasagna, a salad with my vinaigrette dressing and home garlic bread. How does that sound to y'all?"
"Yes, that sounds very good. We haven't had that in a while."
"Alright then I am going to go change and make the dressing and prepare the garlic bread for tomorrow. I will fix everything else starting with the lasagna around ten in the morning after we have breakfast. With so many coming I need to fix it early to make sure I have enough for everyone."
"Ok but you know we will help you."
"Yes Paula I know. Thank you."
Ana walks out of the room and goes to their bedroom to change out of her dress and put on something comfortable.
She walks to the kitchen and starts taking stock of what all she will need for the dressing and garlic bread.
She puts everything on the counter and prepares her vinaigrette dressing. After that is done she is ready to make her garlic bread. She makes homemade bread. She needs her dough just like she always does. She adds her garlic and herbs and covers the loaves with towels so the bread can rise. She prepares four loaves.
"All done y'all. Would anyone like a glass of wine or a cup of coffee?"
"Wine sounds good to me, sweet girl. How about you all?"
"I will take wine Annie Rose."
Granmomma looks at grandpa and Ray to see if they want wine.
"Annie, I will have a glass of wine. Theo how about you?"
"Same for me. Paula, what are you having, young lady?"
"Wine for all of us Ana."
"Coming right up. Now what would you all like for dinner?"
"How about something quick and easy? Oh I know, let's have club sandwiches and french fries."
They all agree with gran.
"Very well Paula want to help me?"
"Sure I will, what do you want me to do?"
"Well after we have our wine you can slice the tomatoes and shred some cheese. I will fix the ham and bacon on the stove and I already have some homemade bread for the sandwiches."
"Ok well then let's get to fixin."
They finish their wine and prepare their dinner. Everyone sits around the kitchen bar eating.
"It is a lovely evening, let's sit out on the terrace y'all."
"I am with you Annie. It is a nice evening."
"I want to prepare some snacks for our guests. I have cinnamon rolls, chips and homemade ranch dip. There is cheese and crackers and I have the cookies from our luncheon."
"I think that will be plenty sweet girl."
"What about your lemon cake humm?"
"Gail bite your tongue. That aint goin nowhere but in my tummy."
They all laugh at Ana.
"Yes hun I know I just had to mention it. I bet Christian is going to get his chocolate cake as a surprise from Chef Ronaldo."
"I believe you are right Gail. We could have that but Christian would probably pout about it. Heck fire I can't do that to my Boo."
They all sit outside and talk.
"Well where are you going on your honeymoon?"
"I think we are just going to continue our trip and see where it takes us. We will be gone for four more months before we come back home to Myrtle Beach. I want to check with the government here and see about starting a plant here."
"I am also going to check on my plant in China and Christian is going to look into his company in London even though it is closed right now. I think he wants to talk to the people he had running it."
"Well sounds like y'all will be busy Annie Rose."
"Yes granmomma we will be. We still want y'all to come and stay some with us after our first month alone. When we know how long we are going to be at one place for a while we will invite you all over."
"Oh that sounds good we get to travel more Adele. I don't know about y'all but this is the first time I have not been out of the United States in probably forty years. I remember when your grandpops took me to Africa with him and surprised me with an African Safari Excursion. We rode on the humongous elephants. It was fun after I got used to being up so high."
"Granmomma you never told me that story."
"Oh well I will have to tell you all about it when we are all together. It is a very interesting story."
"Wow well now you have been to a few new places and there will be more places to visit. We will have to take y'all to Paris and sightsee and y'all will have to come see the villa Christian bought me, not to mention the huge yacht."
"Yes I can't wait to see the Angel Anastasia."
"I have a question y'all well a few before our guests arrive."
"What's on your mind sweet girl?"
"You all have heard of Doctors without Borders right?"
"Yes Annie we have. What about it?"
"Christian and I have been talking and we were wondering if our doctors would like to participate in this cause to help people all over the world. We don't know if they would or if they ever have. I also found out that their wives are nurses too."
"Some doctors don't like to do that for long periods of time. I know if they are specialists they can do like six to eight weeks at a time if they prefer to work that way. It takes time for them to be approved and the majority need to commit at least nine months."
"Granmomma did they have something like this when you were younger?"
"Yes Annie Rose they sure did. It was hard back then to get doctors and nurses to stay long. I think that is why it is hard to get in the program now. They don't want drifters you might say. They need medical help that will commit and stay for the duration. Like I said, if they are specialists they have different options cause of the field they practice in. Like your Dr. Tate is a back specialist."
"Yes he is and yeah I understand what you are saying. So they may not want to get involved with this."
"Oh sugar, don't give up until you talk to them. You sound so serious about this cause and it seems like it is important to you and Christian."
"Yes gran it is. I won't give up and if they are not interested or prepared to be gone from home like that. Maybe they can refer some doctors that would be interested."
"There you go, think positive. Now let's set all the snacks out and the drinks. They should all be back soon."
Now we have Christian's dinner with the guys
The ride to town wasn't long and they talked on the way there.
"It will be nice to Barney and Welch again. Man for some reason I have missed their ugly mugs."
"Jason, you talk to them almost weekly and you all shoot the shit. How can you miss them?"
"It's not the same Luke. We have been friends and saw each other daily for the last seven years. Now it has been a few months. Yeah I miss sitting down talking to them or having Christian need them to pull something for him."
"Ok, ok I see what you are saying. Those boys grow on you."
"Well yeah I guess you could say that."
"Christian do you miss them too?"
"Yeah Elliot but not like Jason does. I mean I am not dying to see them."
"Now wait a dang minute I didn't say I was dying to see them. It's just that we became good friends is all."
They all get a big laugh out of Jason.
"Ha ha, very funny guys."
Jason can't help but laugh now.
"I can't wait to try Chef. What did Ana say his name was bro?"
"Chef Ronaldo, he made us our first meal at the house when we arrived and damn it was delicious. You all will enjoy his cooking. We are going to his restaurant for our dinner."
They arrive at the restaurant and Barney and Welch are waiting on them
"Dav can you take some pictures of us out here and then a few inside? This is a special time and Ana wants pictures for our group."
"Yes Christian I sure can. I did the same for Ana."
"I figured as much."
"Well let's get out and see the guys. I am hungry too."
"How the hell are you Christian, Elliot, Jason and Luke? Been a while guys."
"Barney, I am doing very well, thank you. How are you and how was the flight? Good to see you."
"Christian I am doing great and the flight was nice. Thank you for asking."
"Welch, how are you doing? How was the flight for you? It's good to see you."
"I am awesome and the flight was very relaxing. Thank you. Talked to your and Ana's doctors on the trip over. They are all very nice guys."
"Yes they are and we appreciate them so much. I guess you can say we all became friends, not just doctor and patient. They kept in touch with us even after we came home."
"That is great to hear. Yeah they are fine gentlemen to know."
"Well come on guys, let's get a few pictures and then go and eat."
Dav took pictures of them all together and separate and some just Christian and Elliot. Some just the groomsmen and a few of the groomsmen and best man.
Dav and Nick opened the doors for them and Christian walked in first.
"Mr. Grey it is an honor to have you and your guys in my humble establishment. Welcome to Ristorante Ronaldo gentlemen. Please follow me to your table."
They all walk to their table and take a seat.
"Thank you for taking the time to make Ana and my day special. She couldn't stop raving about the delicious meal you made them."
"It is my pleasure Mr. Grey."
"I would like to introduce you to my group."
"I would love to meet them."
"This is my brother, my best friend and best man Elliot."
"The gentleman beside him is Jason. He is my CPO and a good friend. you met him when you cooked for us the first day."
"This is Luke, he is another CPO and good friend. You met him also that day."
These two gentlemen standing to my right are Barney and Welch. They worked for me and we are good friends. All these guys are my groomsmen."
"Very nice to meet you all. I hope you all have brought a very healthy appetite. Would you like a glass of my finest house wine?"
"Yes Chef Ronaldo, thank you."
"Very good. I will have Rebecca bring it out to you all very soon. Now I am going to step away and prepare your meals."
"Hello gentlemen my name is Rebecca and I will be your server today. I have brought your wine. Mr. Grey, would you please try it and make sure it is to your liking. Per Chef's request sir."
"Of course I will but I am sure it will be just fine."
Christian lifts the glass and swirls the liquid around bringing it to his nose to smell the aroma and takes a sip and swallows.
"Rebecca, please tell Chef Ronaldo it is excellent, thank you."
"Yes Mr. Grey I will tell him and he will be so happy that you liked it. We will have your meals out very soon. Enjoy your wine please."
Elliot stands up.
"Gentlemen, a toast to the groom to be. My dear brother Christian."
"Here, here to Christian."
They all clink their glasses together.
"Guys there is a gift from me to each of you thanking you for being part of my special day. I would like for you all to wait until we have eaten before you open them."
"It is just a little something I thought each one of you would like."
They sit there talking and drinking their wine waiting for their meal.
"Oh my goodness would you look at that feast?"
"Mr. Grey and gentlemen. I am going by what Mr. Grey has requested. A meal you all can sink your teeth into with my signature vegetables and desserts for later. I hope you all enjoy your meal and if you need anything just ask Rebecca and she will get it for you."
"I hope you enjoy your meal, gentlemen. Would you all like more wine or some other beverage?"
"We are fine for now thank you but we might have a glass of Sangria later."
"Very well I will leave you to enjoy your meal."
Rebecca walks off and the men don't know where to start. They have a buffet style serving table. It turns around as they push the handles.
"Lord a mercy bro we have all different kinds of steaks and potatoes."

"Very well I would like to take your plates away so you might sit here and enjoy your desserts. Would you all like some coffee? Chef has some very good coffee with sweet cream. Your fiancée loved it earlier. Would you like to try it?"
"That sounds good. Yes please bring me a cup. Guys, you all want to try it?"
"Sure, bring us all a cup please ma'am."
"I will be right back. I need to remove the trays with some extra help."
"Very well you do what you need to do."
"Thank you Mr. Grey."
Rebecca walks off and comes back with a young man that helps her clear the table.
She comes back with a serving table with their coffee on it.
"I hope you enjoy it, gentlemen. I will be close by if you would like something else."
"Thank you Rebecca, it smells very good. Oh my it tastes awesome."
"Thank you sir."
"Mr. Grey, how was everything sir?"
"Chef Ronaldo you have outdone yourself this evening. Thank you so much sir. I was hoping you would be pleased with the meal. Ms. Steele was very happy with hers today."
"Yes we all were, it was delicious thank you."
"I will have something for you Mr. Grey when you get ready to leave."
"Alright, thank you. Would you send Rebecca back over please?"
"Yes sir."
"Can I get you all something else?"
"No ma'am, that was delicious and your hospitality was excellent. Thank you for taking such good care of us and not bothering us like other servers tend to do."
"Thank you Mr. Grey, I was just doing my job."
"Yes and you did it very well. This is for you and you have a good night. We are going to sit here a little while longer."
"Oh my goodness as I told Ms. Steele this is way too much."
"No my dear it is not. Ana told me about your goals and I want to help like she did. You keep up the good work and you will be a doctor before you know it. Thank you again for everything this evening."

Now you all I have a gift for all of you as I said earlier."
He motions for Dav to bring them over.
"Here you go Christian."
"Thank you Dav."
Dav walks back over and sits down with Nick drinking his coffee.
"Elliot, before you open your gift I want to say something to you."
"Ok bro."
"El I know we haven't always had the best of times. I know I have been an ass, a jerk and a dick to you a lot growing up and as I got older. I am sorry for the way I treated you back then. I love you, you are brother, my best friend. You mean the world to me.
It took Ana my angel to finally make me see what I was becoming and it wasn't someone I liked very much. Before Ana I would blow you off just to stay home and say I had work to do. I am sorry for all those times.
Elliot I am so proud of the man you've become and what you are making of your life. You told me years ago that your goal was to build homes and businesses and look at you man you have accomplished that and more.
You stood by me when I spoke the truth about our so-called family. You didn't once tell me I was lying. You were there for me from day one. You told me and Ana that you were coming back to the penthouse to help me any way you could. You said you and I needed each other and we would stick together like glue.
Yes El you were right on all accounts. I just wished I had listened to you earlier and this speech would have been said years ago. But we live and learn and I learned the hard way. I love you as I said before. I love you for being here for me and for standing by my side at my wedding. I couldn't ask for a better man than my brother to be with me on my special day when I marry the love of my life. Thank you Elliot not just for being my best man but for being my brother through thick and thin."
Elliot is speechless and he has tears running down his face. There isn't a dry eye at the table. The security guys heard the speech and they were misty eyed.
"Christian I don't know what to say except I love you bro so much. I will always be here for you no matter what."
"I know you will Elliot, Lelliot."
Christian pulls Elliot up and hugs him. That just makes Elliot cry more.
"Alright now let's open the gifts."
Christian clears his throat and hands his handkerchief to El.
Elliot tears the paper off and opens the box.
"Oh my goodness no way bro you got me what I have always wanted. A pocket watch by Jean Pierre. Christian thank you bro but you shouldn't have."
"Read the inscription on the back and then look inside."
"My best man for the day but my brother for life. I love you bro… (signed at the bottom Christian)
He opens the watch and to his surprise there is a small picture of him and Christian when they were just little boys. Smiling at each other.
"Oh I am going to start crying like a baby again. Thank you Christian I love you bro."
"Ok guys you can open yours now."
Each of the groomsmen got a Buffalo Trace wrist watch.
"Oh wow thank you Christian this is very nice. I love it. I needed a new watch. I have checked these and others out and I really like this brand."
"You are quite welcome Barney. I am glad you like it."
"Christian my word this is a very nice watch thank you very much."
"You are very welcome Luke. I am glad you like it."
"Christian I have no words for this wonderful gift except man I have always one of these. Thank you, thank you."
"Welch, you are so very welcome. I am glad you like it so much."
"Christian how did you know I needed a new watch? Did a little brown haired birdie tell you that I broke mine? Anyway, oh my god thank you. Gail and I were looking at these just yesterday."
"Jason you are welcome and no she didn't tell me. I saw it laying on the table after it broke. I am glad you like it."
"Well gentlemen shall we be on our way? We have to stop by the hotel and pick up the doctors and their wives. Guys, are you all coming back with us? Dav will be taking everyone back to the hotel later."
"I think I would like to come out and see your new house. What about you Eugene?"
"Man, I told you not to say my name. Yes, I would like to come as well."
They all laughed when he said that about his name.
"Welch just to let you know Ana knows your name."
"Oh well she is alright to say it. I like Ms. Ana is sweet and has always treated me well."
"You just want some cinnamon rolls."
"Guilty as charged but I like Ana. She is a lovely lady."
"No doubt about that she is."
"Dr. Tate this Christian I was wondering if you all are ready to come to the house? Do I need to call Dr. Wingate and Dr. Richardson?"
"Hey Christian yes we are ready and no you don't have to call them. They are all right here we were having coffee. We will be down in a few minutes."
"Alright we are right out front."
"Good see you soon."
"Dav we have enough cars right?"
"Yes Christian we do."
"Ana we will be on our way home shortly. We are waiting for the doctors to come downstairs. I love you."
"Hey Boo, ok we have snacks for everyone. See y'all soon I love you."
"Christian do want us in a different car so they can ride with you?"
"No Barney, it's fine. Thank you."
"Dav make sure everyone is comfortable and not crowded."
"Yes sir."
Christian steps out of the car to speak to them.
"Good evening everyone Ana has snacks for you all at the house. It will only take us about fifteen minutes to get home."
"Good evening Christian thank you for inviting us out."

Just a little bit later they pull up to the house and everyone gets out and walks into the house.
"Welcome everyone please come in and have a seat. Could I get anyone a beverage?"
"We are fine for now Ana thank you."
"Please sit wherever you like."
" Mrs. Wingate and Mrs. Richardson I am Anastasia Steele. I met Mrs. Tate earlier today."
"It is very nice to meet you young lady. I feel like I know you and Mr. Grey. Maxwell talked about you both from the time he met you at the hospital and took care of you Ms. Steele. He didn't give me any medical information. Just that he felt bad for what happened to you both."
"Nice to meet you both Troy did the same. I am so sorry for what happened to y'all but I am so glad that you are both able to be up and walking."
"It is very nice to meet you all. Yes we are a lot better than we were a few months ago. We were in good hands with all of our doctors. If not for them we wouldn't be here today."

"Hello ladies, very nice to meet you all. My name is Gail Jones. I am a friend of everyone. Well they all say family. I was Christian's house manager before they got hurt."

"Welcome one and all. My name is Luke Sawyer. I am also Christian's CPO and friend."
"Hello ladies, I am not sure if I told you my name on the flight. My name is Barney Peterson. I used to work for Christian before he got hurt."
"Ladies, it's very nice to meet you all. My name is Eugene Welch. I also worked for Christian."
"Wow, now that is over , would anyone like a glass of wine or coffee?"

"Wine will be fine Ana."
Everyone spoke at once.
"Wine for us all please thank you Ana."
"Coming right up. Christian would you help me please?"
"Yes love, excuse us we will be right back."
They walk out of the family room and into the kitchen to gather the wine glasses and fill them with the wine.
"Christian we have snacks on the bar if anyone would like any. I also have my cinnamon rolls. I am sure they would all like one."
"Alright love, let's take the wine out and ask everyone."
"Here we go. Help yourself please. I have snacks at the bar and I have made some of my famous cinnamon rolls if you would like to try them."
"Oh my goodness excuse me everyone. I have to have a cinnamon roll. Ana made some back in Seattle when we were all there and they are the best I have ever eaten."
"Barney, help yourself."
Everyone gets up and waits in line for the snacks and a cinnamon roll.
When they all come back to the family room they all just sit around and eat for a few minutes.
"My gosh Ana, these cinnamon rolls are delicious. May I ask you if this is the same as the baby food dessert. The cinnamon rolls dessert is delicious just like this one is."
"Yes ma'am it is. How do you know the dessert's taste?"
"Word of mouth, my sister's daughter has a seven month old son and he loves it. I have tried it and I am not ashamed to admit it. It is very good."
"Thank you very much. Yes, all my baby foods taste as good as my food cook at home. The baby foods have no sugar in them, they are all natural. The juices are too. My meats for older babies have no added salt or sugar in them. I am working on making them as natural as possible."
"That is very good to know. Yes my niece reads the backs of all the baby foods. She has only bought yours since the baby could start eating cereal. That's been three months now."
"I am glad to hear that. I love to prepare baby foods. Granmomma got me started cooking at her house. Daddy had to go to Washington and I had to go with him. He built me my very own State of the art kitchen down in our basement. I started perfecting my recipes there at nine years old."
"Word of mouth got out starting with the President's wife telling everyone that would listen about my recipes. She wanted me to try to make a baby food dessert for her baby girl. I did and it took off from there. I was on a few network food shows for a few months until daddy and I had to go to Texas for his father and brother's funerals."
"I never got back into cooking like that again. I went back to school and high school graduated early. Did college graduated early and then traveled for two years. Talked to daddy about what I wanted to do and he was all for it. So I had Elliot build me my first company in Atlanta and it took off from there."
"Wow young lady, that is amazing. Ray, I know you are very proud of her."
"Yes ma'am I am so very proud of the young lady she has become."
"Christian I know you are happy. You have a smile on your face a mile wide."
"Yes Allison I am very happy and very proud of my angel. Not just for her cooking accomplishments but for helping me when I needed it. For her to be there for me in my time of need. If I had opened my eyes sooner we would be already married and probably a few kids by now. But God has his reason and now I know it is the perfect time for me to say I do to this lovely lady."

"Oh my gosh that is so sweet."
"Would you all like anything else? How about a cup of coffee. Christian and I would like to talk to you doctors and your wives for a little while."
"Of course and coffee sounds lovely, thank you."

"Well everyone we are going to get out of here so you all can talk. It was very nice meeting you all. We will see you tomorrow at the rehearsal dinner. Goodnight for now."

Paula brought everyone a cup of coffee and another plate of cinnamon rolls.
"I would like to start and what we have to say we are not sure how you are going to feel about it. You don't have to give us an answer now. Or you can if you feel like this is not something you would like to do."
"First and foremost we want y'all to know that this is not the reason we invited you to our wedding. We became friends in the hospital and after we were released. You are amazing and caring doctors. We wanted you all here to share our day with us.
This is just something that is pressing on my heart and we have the means to do something about it if any of you are interested."

They want you to commit to at least six to nine months with them. They have had so many say they will stay for the duration but when they are there for a while they decide they want to leave within a few weeks.
"Perry as a Back specialist you wouldn't have to commit for that long. They know you are needed at home too."
"Now that we have thrown that at y'all I think it is a good time to call it a night. You are more than welcome to stay the night. We have plenty of bedrooms and we can sit and talk. It is up to you all."

"Do you all have to leave the day after our wedding or can you stay longer?"
"I think we could stay, we will check our schedules and let you both know tomorrow."
"That sounds great. Let me get the guys and our drivers to take you back to the hotel."
