Recap Chapter 13
We left off with Christian and Dav trying to find out about the island that was uncovered and is attached to his land. Let's read and find out if it is his.
Oh we can't forget the fresh coconut cake Ana made earlier and she has a surprise for him.
Chapter 14
Ana was in the kitchen icing the layers and adding coconut. She got the third layer on and iced it then added more coconut on top and around the sides. Dav walks back in.

"Good morning y'all hope you all had a wonderful night. Breakfast is ready. We are having waffles with bacon and sausage and fruit. I also cut some coconut if you all want some."
"Oh wow what a spread. Waffles I haven't had waffles since we left Georgia months ago. Thank you Ana."
"Nick, you are very welcome. There are plenty. Christian and I only want one waffle each. The rest are y'alls."
"Really only one Chris?"
"Yes I have to watch my figure."
They all busted out laughing and Ana's laugh turned into the cutest little snort.
"Oh my goodness I am sorry I didn't mean to do that."
They all laughed.
"No worries Ana, we know how you are when you laugh sometimes."
"Aww it was cute love."
"Alright, enough of my laugh. Come and fill your plates. Y'all can eat in here with us there is plenty of room. Or we can all eat on the patio."
"Let's eat on the patio. It is a beautiful morning and the sun is just rising over the water. Look angel."
She looks out the door and smiles.
"Yes it is. Come on y'all don't want to waste the sun rising. Grab the camera or your phone please."
"Already got you some photos angel."
He holds his phone up and so do some of the guys.
"Thank you Boo and y'all for taking the photo's for me."
"You are welcome angel. Come on as you say "times a wastin".
They sat outside and ate and watched the sun rise all the way up. Taking picture after picture to commemorate the day for her.
They all talked about the wonderful time they have had. They thanked Ana again and again for the coconut cake last night.
"Guys I would like for some of you to take the smaller boat and go back to our island and get me some more coconuts if you can find some. I want to take some home for coconut cakes and pies. Also want to experiment with them."
"We will be happy too Ana. So the island is y'alls?"
"Yes Nick it is. We found out yesterday isn't that awesome. I want to build on it but with it just now showing it's not a good idea. The water might cover it again and my island cabin would be lost. I am glad it is ours though."
"Yeah you don't want to build on it for that reason. But hey you can camp on it and seek out treasures if there is any there."
"Hey not a bad idea Nick."
"Not today though. Did Dav tell y'all we are going home this evening?"
"Yes Chris he did. We will take our plates back home and wash them. Then we will go hunting coconuts for you."
"Thank you guys I appreciate it."
"You are welcome Ana."
The guys leave and they clean up the kitchen and pack.
"Hello this Christian Trevelyan."
"Hello Mr. Trevelyan this is Mr. Marcello I am calling to let you know the surveying crew will be out first thing in the morning to check your island out and make new maps and plats for you and Mrs. Trevelyan."
"Thank you sir for getting back to me. My guys will be here. We are leaving and going back home to Italy. If you need us please call."
"Yes Mr. Trevelyan and thank you. Have a safe trip home. Goodbye sir."
"Goodbye Mr. Marcello."
"That was Mr. Marcello he has a surveying crew coming out in the morning."
"That's good I am glad he isn't wasting any time doing this. We never know if it is going to be covered again with water."
"That's right love. I need to call Dav."
"Hey man the surveying crew will be out first thing in the morning please tell the guys to be on the lookout for them."
"Thanks for letting me know and I will tell them now. By the way, we are leaving at seven thirty tonight."
"Alright we will be ready thank you."
"Angel, we are leaving at seven thirty tonight."
"Alright we should have everything ready to go."
"Let's not call the family and surprise them."
"Ok yes we will surprise them."
They go and pack and the guys go hunting.
Later in the day they come back from their hunting trip.
The guys go and bring back some coconuts. They load them in the cars with the luggage and head to the jet that evening.
They arrive at the airport and fly home. They arrive home some hours later and Dav drives them home.
They get out of the car and walk in the door.
"Surprise we are home."
They say but no one is there.
"Now where in the world are they all at?"
"I have no idea love. I will have Dav call and check on them. But not tell them we are home."
"I guess they went into town to eat and shop."
"They may have."
"Dav call and see where our family is at. But don't tell them we are home."
"I will call Jason and check in since I have done that today."
"Alright, thank you."
They walked to their room and put their clothes and things away.
"Hey Chris they are all eating in town at the hotel with everyone that stayed after the wedding. I mean everyone."
"Wow, thank you. Did Jason say when they would be home?"
"Yes he said around nine o'clock they are going to watch some show. before you say it yes the place is secure."
"Ok thank you. You are beginning to scare me. You sound like Ana does when she reads my mind."
"Naw I just know what you are going to say is all."
"Oh well anyway thank you for letting us know."
"Anytime Chris."
"Ana wants to know where you hid the coconuts she can't find them?"
"Oh..he laughs..they are in the pantry behind the big bag of potatoes and boxes."
"Ok thank you."
"Ana the coconuts are in the pantry behind the big bag of potatoes and some boxes Dav just told me."
"Ok thanks and what time are they coming home?"
"Dav said Jason told him nine o'clock they were in town at the hotel eating with everyone and I mean everyone. They are probably on their way to a show now."
"You said everyone, what do you think? No, no way."
"I don't know love, we will have to wait and see."
They walked to the kitchen and checked where the coconuts were. Their eyes got big as saucers.
"Oh my goodness I didn't know they got that many. That's not how many they showed us."
"No angel, this is twice as many as we saw."
"Oh well I will have to thank them with a cake and a pie."
"They will worship the ground you walk on as if they don't already."
They both laugh at that.
"Yes they probably will and do already."
"Are we a little conceited?"
"Who me? No way."
"I know angel I am just picking on you."
"Well I am going to fix myself a glass of white wine. Would you like one?"
"Yes angel thank you."
They walk back into the family room and sit down. Talking and waiting for the family to come home.
"You know we have a lot to do. We have to talk with the doctors and their wives and find out if they have all got their papers back and are approved to work with the doctors without borders."
"We need to find out how far Elliot's crews are with our company."
"What do you think about inviting Jacqueline and her family here for a few days or a week. If they would like to come. I think Dav is missing her and it would be good if daddy got to see his buddy."
"I think that is a great idea angel. Let's run it by Dav first and make sure he wants to see her."
"Yes of course I would want to invite them without him knowing. They were just so close when we were in Paris."
"Yes I know they were. Let me call him up here."
"Hey Dav are you busy?"
"Hey Chris nope, what can I do for you?"
"Come up to the house for a minute please."
"Be right there."
"He is on his way love."
"Ok thank you."
He smiles at her.
"Hey what's up?'
"Would you like to see your lady Jacqueline for a few days or a week? We wanted your input before we invited her and her family. Daddy I know would like to see her father. It's been a while since they have seen each other."
"That would be great but I am not sure what they are doing or if she is working right now."
"It won't be right now. Maybe a week or two. We have a lot to do right now with the doctors and their wives concerning Doctors without Borders you know?"
"Yes I haven't forgotten that and it is a very important cause."
"I will call her and ask about her plans and her family. I will tell her when I talk to her that you don't want her dad calling Ray and telling him he might be coming to the house. It will be a surprise for Ray."
"That is perfect thank you. I just thought you might like to see her again. You haven't had time with all the running around we have had you doing and you need a break. We have plenty of security here and you know if I need you I will let you know."
"Yes Ana I know and I appreciate that but it is my job to be here for you. I will be happy with some days off if they can come. I will let you know as soon as I find out."
"I would like for you and Elliot if y'all have time tomorrow to go into town and look around for a few buildings that are for sale or rent. Hopefully in good shape or not too bad. This is for homes I want for children and parents of abuse. I need one for men no women. I do not want to put abused men and women together."
"I am sure we can do that for you. I will talk to Elliot tonight and get his opinion where to go. Since he has probably been all over town while he has been here. You know him, he is always scouting and looking. I have caught him a few times scoping places out and looking at how they are built."
"Good, good yes I have too. Even here he looks at everything. He has to build a few homes here too."
"Alright I will leave you both for tonight and see y'all in the morning."
"Alright goodnight Dav."
"Goodnight."
He walks out of the family room and they sit there sipping their wine.
"Hey, I think they are home?"
"I think you are right angel."
The front door opens and they walk in.
"Surprise we are home."
"Oh my god Annie Rose and Christian come here."
They walk over to granmomma and she grabs them in the tightest hug.
"We missed you too granmomma but we can't breathe."
"Oh my goodness I am sorry."
She lets them go and everyone else grabs them and hugs them.
"So happy to see y'all and be home."
"Tell us about your trip. Now the other stuff."
"Elliot I swear."
"Hey I didn't say it."
"No but you can't tell me you weren't thinking about it?"
"Hush you. They are home and we missed them."
"Yes we did."
"We will tell you all about our surprise honeymoon and what we found in the morning. Tonight we just want to relax with you all and hear about y'alls days."
"Ok well we have been taking turns cooking and eating out. Going shopping and visiting with your friends that are now our family. They have all adopted us. We have been to shows and the Opera with the doctors and their wives. It was an amazing time."
"Oh my, it sounds like you all had a great time."
"Yes Annie Rose we surely did but we missed you both so much."
"We missed you all too."
"I will tell you all one thing well two. We went out on the Angel Anastasia and found an island. After the guys checked it out we decided to check it out. The guys found coconuts and we found out yesterday that the island is on our land. Now we own an island. How about that?"
They all look at them like they are crazy.
