Chapter 20 Recap
Wow all I can say is This chapter was a busy one. Getting everything ready for the concert and the carnival. A lot of planning and checking on the land and all. Elliot, grandpa and Ray's help getting everything squared away.

Chapter 21 Time Jump 3 weeks
Everyone saw their families and Christian and Ana got to meet their kids. They thanked them over and over for what they did for them. School wise, home wise and helping their parents.
The teams left for their destinations and have been settled in for two weeks now. Everything is going well. None of them are where there is any immediate danger. Got word that they are helping so many people in each country they are in."
"Ethiopia was in more need of doctors so we sent two more over there two nurses that were needed. Dr. Maxwell and his wife Naomi Richardson needed all the help they could get. They said they appreciate everything we have done and the extra blankets and cover were a godsend for some of the children that didn't have any. Their food supply has dwindled down and the extra clothing is being used by all. They are asking for medical supplies, food and bottled water.
The team that was sent to Malaysia with and his wife Allison was enough for now unless something serious came up. I am so glad we have backup doctors and nurses on standby. From what we hear they are safe where they are at. They said they are very thankful for the tents and warm and comfortable bedding we sent along with each of them. They are asking for more food and bottled water. They need medical supplies. They are in desperate need of bandages and tape.
The team that was sent to Bangladesh with Dr. Perry and his wife Beverly are doing very well. They are treating their patients with the care they were taught. They tell us they are thankful that we asked them to be a part of this. They have shared their clothing with some of the men and women that are walking around in rags. The food supply is running low and they need bottled water. They are also sending them medical supplies.
We told them we were sending another shipment of clothing and food to them. Also they are receiving medical supplies.
"Christian I just got word from Captain Saylors and Captain Owens that the supplies were delivered safely."
"Good I am waiting on confirmation from Captain Bell that our delivery made it through to our team in Bangladesh."
"I'm sure we will know soon. They had the furthest to travel to the teams."
"Yes you are right. I just don't want anything going wrong."
"Neither do I. Now stop being a worry wart. We will hear something soon."
His phone rings.
"See I told you."
"Hello. Thank you Captain Bell. I appreciate that. Now why don't you and your crew take some time off. You are more than welcome to use the jeep that is at your disposal. Please enjoy your time while you are all there. feel free to go to the hotel that we have you all staying at. Please let us know if there is anything any of you will need while you are there."
"Well as usual my angel you were right."
"See you just worry too much love."
"I am hungry, what are we having for lunch and where is everyone at?"
"We are having BBQue Ribs with macaroni and Cheese, Baked beans and a salad. They are all eating at their homes today. They knew we were going to be busy with all the shipments and then going to the plant."
"Oh ok well that was nice of them. Do we need to take Elliot something to eat on our way over there?"
"No Paula has already taken care of his lunch."
"Well then angel I guess we need to eat so we can go and see if they have everything ready to open up next week."
"Yes, let's eat then go on over there. Elliot is expecting us after lunch. I still want to meet his crew. We have only met a few of them and I want to thank them all for the extra work they have done for us."
'I will call Elliot and tell him to make sure his guys are there for us to meet and thank in person."
"Thank you, love. I am so glad his forman Ronnie Freeman asked me if I wanted to enlarge my outdoor seating area for more room."
"Yes and he added outdoor seating areas to the other two as well. That way they all have plenty of time to eat and get back to their stations in the plants and not have to rush."
"Yes and I don't know why I didn't think of that when I had the place built."
"Well love you were just starting out with all these ideas for your plants. Did El add outdoor seating at all of the buildings in Atlanta?"
"Yes you are right and no come to think of it he didn't. He went by my dream and blueprints that I drew up."
"Yes don't look at me like that I said I drew up cause I did. Then Elliot just modified them to make them better. Mine were sorta like chicken scratch."
"Go ahead and laugh. I can laugh now looking back at what I drew."
"Well love whatever you drew no matter what it looked like. Your vision became a reality and you became a success overnight. I am very proud of you. I followed you because everytime I would ask Elliot about you he would say she is doing just fine."
"Google her or talk to Ray. I couldn't face Ray for a while so I had Welch following you after you left college and the two years you were traveling. I had to make sure you were safe even though you hated me. Then after you started your business I would have him check on you just for my peace of mind. I was afraid that you would catch me so I didn't want to leave a footprint for you to see who it was."
"Oh Boo I knew the first day you had Welch check up on me. I didn't mind, I knew you weren't going to do anything to hurt me. Bet you didn't know it but I followed you too and never quit. I knew that neither Welch nor Barney could catch me."
"No, they never mentioned anything about you checking up on me. They did say that you caught me though or rather them. I figured if you wanted me to stop you would have told them to back off right?"
"Yes I would have and boy I should have stopped when I was ahead. Some things I saw well, let's just say were unseeable and I never wanted to see again."
"So you knew some of what was going on with me before you came back fully into my life that day when you walked into my office and the bitch troll was there?"
"Oh boy did I ever. Let me put it this way, I knew what you were doing with the blonde botox bitch from hell before I left for college. Like I said things I never wanted to see and most definitely never want to see again. Don't know if you knew but she was having someone go in the backdoor of your computer and add pictures. I know she did it because of me. She knew I was smart. Whether she wanted to admit it or not. Hell, I graduated high school early and then college."
"I am so sorry you had to see stuff like that. But what did you see? Was it me and the bitch or the others?"
"Well some of it was of you and her in her playroom. Some were pictures of you with your brunettes."
He just hangs his head.
"Some of it was what you were doing money wise for the bitch. Then I saw where you were buying clothes, cars, jewelry for them. Really Christian did you have to do all that for them?"
"Well at the time I felt like it was the right thing to do and the bitch told me I needed to compensate them for their time. She got it in my head that I was the Premiere Dom of Seattle. Hell I was giving them money, what more did she think they needed? She said I needed control in my playroom."
"Well love you had control before you ever walked in that damn red room of pain. That's what I called it when I saw the pictures."
"Let me put a little bug in your ear my love. She was making a killing off each girl and you. She was your PIMP. Now when we get back from our plant, I am going to give you the files I have. They will be yours to destroy. I don't want to see them again."
"Ana love I would rather not see the files. I have tried to bury all that. Take the files and give them to Jason and Dav and tell them to burn them."
"Don't worry about it Boo, it is all done now. By the way, all the cars and apartments you had Taylor get for them are gone. One question: why did you feel the need to put all those cars and apartments in Taylor's name? I have never figured it out. I knew they couldn't be in your name for obvious reasons but put everything in Taylor's name that just wasn't right and you know it."
"At the time she said it would be the best and Taylor never objected."
"Well hell no he isn't going to object to you, you are his boss."
"I took care of them before I came back to Seattle. I told each one of them if they didn't high tail it out of Seattle there would be a full investigation done on each one of them. I would be bringing them down with Mrs. Lincoln bitch troll extraordinaire wanna be dominatrix."
He just sits there smiling at her.
"Didn't you wonder why Bitch troll had to work extra hard to get you a new sub? The bitch didn't have any at her beck and call."
"Wow, I never knew that. No I never wondered about a new girl sometimes bitch troll said it would take a few days. I was used to that. I am glad you did that."
"Ok enough reminiscing about old shit. We have to get to the plant and get it ready for opening next week. I can't wait to get in there and smell all the wonderful smells my recipes can produce."
"Yes I know love and I have only been there twice and I remember the smells. Come on angel, let's go see what else they have done in another week."
"Let's take my car, the top is already down and it's a gorgeous day."
"Let's go."
They ride over their plant. The sun is shining and it is a gorgeous day. Christian looks over at Ana driving and her long brown tresses are blowing in the wind and she has a smile on her face. She does a quick glance at him and smiles bigger.
"What do I have something on my face or in my hair?"
"No angel, I am just admiring my beautiful wife and you are beautiful, my love."
"Thank you sweetheart you are looking rather handsome today yourself."
"What me? I am only wearing a t-shirt and jeans."
"Yes you love you are my gorgeous man and I love you."
"Oh angel I love you more than words can say."
She blows him a kiss and they arrive at the plant. They pull up to her private entrance and they see Nick and Tony.
"Hey guys how's it going? Has Elliot arrived or did we beat him this morning?"
"Yes Ana, he and Ronnie are here with their crews. Too many to name but here is the list if you want to look at the names of the guys."
"No, that's fine, we know if they are with Elliot all is good. I am sure they know protocol with their badges and all."
"Yes they do and we see them everyday."
"Thanks guys, see you all later."
"I had Paula and Joan start calling our employees back within the next two weeks. That should give us plenty of time to get all the shelves stocked with everything they are going to need to start making the baby food."
"Are Chester and Clyde coming back with everyone else?"
"Yes they are and they say they can't wait to get started. I am looking forward to seeing them again after so long."
"Well everyone will be coming back to basically new buildings. I know they will love all the new State of the Art Industrial appliances."
"Yes I am sure they will. I can't wait to use them myself. I have to check them out and I hope they have everything ready when we get there."
"I am pretty sure Elliot has told the guys everything better be in tiptop shape before we arrive today. I knew you couldn't resist trying them out first."
"Well Boo I have to make sure they are in working order and up to my specifications. I would hate for something to go wrong in the middle of preparing a recipe or the stoves not set at the right temperature while they have to wait for an electrician to check them out. These stoves are the ones I can program a temperature at for what they need to be set on. That way nothing is undercooked or overcooked."
"Have you got the background check back on the new Personal Assistant you had the guys to run? I am sure he is alright with the recommendations we got from the President."
"Yes I have and Tyler Abernathy checked out with only a speeding ticket and that was when he was sixteen years old. He was rushing to the airport with his mom to catch his wayward sister from running away again. He paid for her plane ticket back home and he wanted to make sure they were on time."
"Needless to say The State Trooper caught him speeding and gave him a ticket and he only had his license for two days. He said his mom tried to explain the situation but he said the trooper was in a piss poor mood that day. Back then his ticket was on twenty five dollars. But his mom wanted to fight it he said not to so he paid it and that was it."
"Nothing since and Uncle J told me that when he spoke to me about him. He is one of his best friends' sons. He knew him as he was growing up. He has worked for Uncle J and some of his close friends. He got a glowing review from everyone they talked to."
"Wow that's great so when is he going to start? Does he have a place down here to live or do we need to take care of all that?"
"No, he has found a nice three bedroom condo not too far from the plant. I did offer to pay for his relocation but he wouldn't accept it. He told me and I quote "For the pay and benefit package with the added bonus you are so kindly offering me I can't let you do anymore."
"Wow, nice guy. When will he be here?"
"I have spoken to him on the phone a few times and he will be here next week."
"Alright love, let's go check everything out. What is that building over there to the left of the plant?"
"Oh you will see very soon Boo."
"Hey you two about the time you showed up. We have been here since five o'clock. Come on let me show you the outdoor seating areas. I know you will be impressed and love them. Hell I love them and I am not going to be working here."
They walk up to the front of the plant and see that there is a large open deck with a beautiful red tin roof covering it. There are red stained long picnic tables and benches. There are smaller tables with chairs. There are plants hanging and lovely flowers surrounding the deck on the ground. There are red and black stained cabinets with doors on the bottom and open on top. There are places for condiments, napkins and plastic cutlery. They have put in a drink fountain and ice machine. There is a coffee machine. There is also a snack machine.
"Wow just wow El I am very impressed. You and your guys have done an awesome job and made this place look like a picnic area. Thank you so much. Now are the other areas just like this one?"
"Yes everything is set up the same but they all have different color schemes. Come with me. I want to show you where your employees will have their breaks. This one is for the ones that work up front. The one back here is for the employees so they don't have to walk so far and it is bigger because more employees are back here in the plant. The one up front is to for everyone also."
"Now if they want to walk up front they can but it will take up their break time walking that far both ways. I just wanted to make it convenient so they would be back to work on time. They would have had to scarf their food down and that's not good on anyone's stomach."
"That's fine Elliot, thank you and I know the employees will thank you too."
They follow El through the plant past where the employees will be preparing the baby food and toward the back.
Elliot opens a sliding glass door and holds it open for Ana and Christian to walk through. It is the same as the one up front, only a bit larger like he said because more people work in the back than they do up front.
"Wow, very nice Elliot. I am glad you made this bigger for the employees back here. I like the blue and gray color scheme. Thank you."
"Yes I figured you would. This has everything the one up front has. Also the other two buildings have their own break rooms too. Now for the building with the chemicals in it I added a changing room off the bathroom area. So they could change into their work uniform and change back to their own clothes after work. There are also showers if they are needed. I hope you two didn't mind that?"
"No Elliot that is fine and thank you I had forgotten to mention that the guys needed a new one. I didn't remember if it was in the blueprints because it was the last thing I had added after I had the building built. I knew they needed one to change in."
"You're welcome. Now come with me, both of you. I have a big surprise. Well you could see when you drove up but the outside is nothing like the inside."
"Yes, what is that building bro?"
"You will see it in due time bro just relax."
Ana looks at him and takes his hand. She smiles up at him and they follow Elliot over the building. Elliot stops in front of the door. Christian doesn't notice the blue ribbon tied across the door.
"Little lady and bro come over here please."
Elliot looks at Ana and hands her a huge pair of Gray scissors. She smiles at him.
"Come here Boo we have to cut this ribbon?"
Christian walks over to the door where Ana and Elliot are standing. They hold the scissors together and cut the ribbon. Elliot opens the door and everyone yells surprise.
They both are surprised to see the family and managers there to greet them.
"Well the family wanted to be present when I showed you both this building. I thought it would only be appropriate to invite your managers to see what we have done. Now before anyone comes over to ask if you like the place. I have something I want to say."
"Ok Elliot we are listening."
"Alright you two you both have been there for all of us at one time or another. Helping us deal with what has been brought to our door. You both have fought so hard and had many trials to go through for us and yourselves. You both have gone above and beyond to include all of us in your many journeys. We all thank you both for that. We know you both have the resources to build and buy anything you want. But the bottom line here is that we all got together and wanted you both to have this place."
'There will be no money coming from you Ana for this building it is paid for and everything in it. Now if not for Ana I don't know where we would all be right now. With her help she saved us from a life of turmoil and for that I thank her from the bottom of my heart. She saved you Chris not only financially but she saved you from hell that's the only way I can put it. Ana I am so happy that you walked back into his life. He needed you but he didn't know it. You make him happy and that's all we ever wanted."
Ana is crying on Christian's shoulder and he has tears in his eyes.
The family walks over to them and hugs them both.
"Guys we appreciate everything you have done but we can't let you do this."
"Oh hush that Chris you can and you will it is a done deal."
Grandpa walks over and gives them the bill.
They look at it and it has their name on the top of the paper. It says "A gift from the Trevelyan Family to Christian and Anastasia Trevelyan."
"Oh my goodness, thank you all so very much. We appreciate it don't we Boo?"
"Yes angel we certainly do. Thank you all."
"Boo I wanted you to see this with me for the first time. I haven't seen it and I didn't want to see it without you love. If you agree with this sign this is the one that we will use. It says Steele-Trevelyan Cuisine Baby Foods Inc. Remember the talk we had a couple weeks ago? Boy I sure do."
"Oh yes I remember it and it was a dozy."

"Chris, I need to talk to you about something. Do you have time to come with me to my office? Grandpa and daddy are waiting in there for us."
"Sure what's going on?"
They walk into Ana's office and she sits down on the couch with Christian. Ray and grandpa are reclining in the comfortable recliners.
"Alright love what is going on?"
'Boo I want to talk to you about changing the name of my well now our business here."
She waits for him to say something but he doesn't.
He looks at Ray and grandpa but they are leaving it up to Ana like they said they would do. They will give their two cents or input if they ask for it. But they are leaving it up to Ana to explain what she wants to do and why she wants to change the name.
"Well love, we are married now and I would like for your name to be on the business. That way we both have a say in what will happen. The baby food containers will still say Steele Cuisine Baby Foods but everything else will have Steele- Trevelyan on it. I was thinking about changing the labels on the baby food but until everyone knows it is the same company I would like to wait a while longer for that."
"So you are asking me if it is alright to add our married name on the business? Why do you want to do that love? This company started with you, not me. I know for a fact Ray helped you get the one in Atlanta going financially. Ray, what do you think about this? I would like your input because as I said you helped her start this company and it is only right you have a say in it."
"Chris I did help but it was with her trust funds. I didn't just hand the money over to her. She presented me with a solid business plan and Theo and I read it over and over and we both agreed she had one helluva idea. She was already making money for her sales at the shopping center and word got around and she was selling online. This is her baby and if she wants your name on this company I will not stand in her way."
"Grandpa, what do you think? I know it would be nice to have my name on here but as I told Ray this is Ana's I had nothing to do with it. Well the only reason she had to rebuild was because of my past coming back to fuck with us. That had to do with the stupid bitches and bastards fucking it up by blowing it up."
"Christian Trevelyan I never want to hear you say that again. You did not, I repeat you did not tell them to do that. You did not, I repeat you did not stand there and blow my buildings up. You did not. I repeat you did not offer the millions of dollars these stupid bitches wanted to pay for the destruction of my property and our lives. You did not. I repeat you did not put that pedo bitch and the others in prison I did it. I repeat I did and I will do it again if the need arises. You had nothing to do with what they wanted to do to us."
She is yelling and screaming now at him. Walking back and forth in front of him.
"Ana, angel calm down?"
She looks at him and laughs.
"Do not tell me to calm down Mr. Trevelyan. You did not and I repeat put that bitch in the hospital you did not and I repeat shoot that bitch. You did not and I repeat you did not do any Deep Sea Diving to find out what the fuck was going on and you took your money and tried to steal your livelihood you had worked so hard to build. You are not and I will repeat this over and over were not then or now responsible for what they did to you and me. Do you hear me Christian Trevelyan? Do you understand what I am saying and what I mean? Hell if you want to put it that way I to am responsible for the destruction of my buildings and the lives of my employees being hurt."
"Annie, Anastasia Rose sit your ass down and stop that damn hollering young lady. You have made your point loud and clear."
"Sorry I'm sorry but my husband is a stubborn jackass at times. I love you Christian and I am not blaming you for anything that has happened. All that shit is in the past, we are starting new. It is over and done with."
She is still standing and looking at him with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Yes love it is and I am so sorry for upsetting you like I did."
"No Ana you are not and I agree with you I wasn't at fault either. Please sit and calm down.? Don't look at me like that, I will put you over my knee."
Oh my god what did I just say to her. She is going to hate me. I know she will. That is the first time I have ever said that to her. I look up and she is looking me dead in the eye. Blue to gray.
She just stares at him but she eventually sits down at her desk.
"Sit down and stay there before I let Chris do just that."
Oh hell now she is throwing daggers at both of us with her eyes.
She stares at her father now.
"Well I for one think what Ana said is very accurate don't you Ray? I mean she told him like it was that he wasn't responsible for what happened."
"Yes Theo I agree with you."
"Chris son you listen to Annie she is telling you the truth. Just because she is the one that you chose to spend the rest of your life with is no reason to blame yourself for what some stupid self centered assholes did to you both and this company. It was not your fault or Ana's. She was doing her job and trying to save your company, your livelihood, and everything you had worked for. It was the fault of some stupid bitches and bastards that thought they could take you for everything and ruin you. No one thought about Annie and I coming to your rescue to save you."
"Yes Ray I know and I am so thankful for you and her."
"Now my love, my Boo, what do you say about the name change? Oh the name will be Trevelyan for charities and all the donations. We have so many sponsors wanting to come on board but that is for another meeting. I want your answer on this please?"
"Let me think about it?"
"Alright I love you. I am going to start supper."
"I love you angel."
He walks over and gives her a kiss.
"Alright Chris what is the holdup here? You know she loves you and wants your name with her's."
"Yes I know but this is her company not mine. I have to think about this some more."
"Well I for one don't think it is his pride talking. He doesn't want to be branded as a gold digger. We wouldn't think that and I really doubt anyone would except the ones who don't matter. But it is not their business what you do and how you live your life. That is up to you and Ana, no one else."
"Now that they know Ana is a Trillionaire and Chris is married to her. Hell if anyone would think he was a gold digger it would be grandmomma. She didn't even know him and she fell in love with him. She would have been the one you would have had to bend over backward to prove to her that you weren't one. But you see Chris, we all know you are not after her money. She knows you are not after her money. She told you about all the trillions of dollars and you told her you would marry her even if she didn't have a dime."
"Hell you asked me for my blessing and granmomma gave you hers before she told you anything about her trust funds and the wills. So you see we know it wasn't about the money. You told her she could give it all away and you would live in a shoebox with her."
"Is that it Chris? Are you worried about what people will say? I have never known you to worry about what people think about you. You have always said and I quote "I don't give a damn what people say about me. It doesn't bother me a damn bit." Remember saying those words for years son?"
"Yes Ray I remember every word and then some. I just don't want to make her feel like she has to do this. This is her baby like GEH was mine. Yes if we were together back then or married half of everything I own would be in her name. It's just hell I don't know what it is. I really don't."
"Well let me explain something to you young man. My daughter has a heart of gold if you haven't figured that out yet. She wants to add your name because she wants you to be a part of her business not because she feels like you are making her do it. Not because she feels like you are demanding her to do it. Not because she feels like that you won't love her any less, not because she feels like it because she is married to a Billionaire. Hell she is wanting to do this because she loves you with all her heart and she knows this is the right thing to do for both of you."
Christian doesn't say anything.
"Chris, she is doing this because she wants to share everything with you just like you want to share everything with her. Hell she was willing to give all her Trillions of dollars away if you said the word. You said you didn't want any of her money. You said you would give your share to charity and you know that made her love you all the more. Now are you going to accept her kind offer that she has put before you?"
"Yes I guess I am going to. I need to talk to Ana and let her know that I have decided to share the business with her."
"That's our smart son Theo. Stubborn as the day is long but smart when he wants to be."
"Oh lord Ray you are so right."
"My stars and garters I thought I was going to have to come in here and knock some sense into Chris. You know without a shadow of a doubt that girl loves you so very much. Hell she worships the ground you walk on."
"Let me tell you a little secret, son. The day I met you in the hospital I knew you were the one for my little Annie Rose. I could see the love shining in your eyes just my husband god rest his soul used to look at me. I could be across the room and feel his eyes on me. I could feel your eyes on Annie Rose. I felt the tension in that hospital room when you looked over at me then at Annie Rose. I knew you were waiting for my approval but I had to feel you out first. You see, you are the love of my granddaughter. Her eyes light up when you walk into a room. Her breath catches when she hears you talk. Her eyes shine like the brightest diamond ever created. So you see Chris I know you are not now or ever will be after her money. We all love you and want you both to be happy."
"Thank you all and yes I will go and tell Ana that I will be proud to add Trevelyan to our business. Thank you all for talking to me. I love each one of you so very much."
"We love you Chris. Now you need to go and settle her down. She is wide open in that kitchen. Heaven knows what she is fixing. Better make sure she takes a bite of the food before you do?"
Granmomma deadpans.
"Chris, I am kidding, come on son laugh. She wouldn't hurt you for anything. She would hurt herself before she did anything to you."

"Yes I know but I wanted to include your name well our name on this building. Walk outside with me, love."
They hear a helicopter.
They walk outside and Ray and grandpa are telling the guys that are in the helicopter to raise the cloth.
"ALright Joe lift it?"
Joe lifts the cloth and flys away. Christian is stunned he is speechless.
The cloth comes off the sign and it says "Steele Trevelyan Cuisine Baby Food Inc. The writing is in Blue the color of Ana's eyes and the background is gray the color of Christian's eyes. It has pictures of babies happy and smiling that Ana had commissioned with their parents' permission. It shows pictures of families feeding their babies and the babies all happy. She has introduced Christian Trevelyan as her husband and partner.
"Angel oh my lord this is amazing."
"Whee I was worried you wouldn't like the sign. I was afraid it was too big or small."
"Angel it is perfect just like you are."
"Boo this is our new office just like the one in Atlanta. With everything we are going to be doing with the charities we have started. We needed a new office building not just for the charities we are starting but for this plant also. They will be on different will have offices for our P.A.s. For Paula and her P.A. for security, for billing, for finance, for our on duty nurses and physiologists to help with war time issues like PDST and other medical problems, for shipping and receiving, for food banks, clothing and so much more. You got the gist of it, right love?"
"Yes angel I did thank you. Very nice set up."
"We have also been in talks with other manufacturing companies for wheelchairs, walkers, crutches. Basically anything that will help a person be able to move around. Well Paula and Joan are in talks with medical companies for band-aids, bandages, slings and etcetera."
"I have been in communication with a few different companies about breathing machines and oxygen masks for those that have trouble breathing. Christian bottom line is we have talked or we are talking to different companies about providing medical needs for whatever the person might need."
"Angel, that is wonderful news. Is there anything I can help you with?"
Yes love there is and we will discuss that later."
He nods his head.
"Elliot, how many floors is this?"
"We have twelve floors, ten that will be used for business. Floor one will be for receiving goods. We have added a few loading docks on the back side for this is for the shelters, homes for the abused, homeless, low income and our service men and women. This will be your warehouse for all the supplies."
"The top floor will be where your helicopter will stay when you fly it here. There is a helipad and yes before you ask a million questions it has been checked out and was approved by a very well known building inspector."
"Ok next floor?"
"Let's just walk through all the floors, it will be easier for you to visualize."
"That's a good idea."
"Alright floor one where everyone is standing this is basically what I just said. Those pallets over there are loaded with goods. Like clothes, blankets, sheets, coats, shoes. Whatever is needed. This section here has been marked off for medical loading dock is back here."
They walk toward the back and they see the dock doors.
They walk around the side and out the door.
"We will take the elevator up to the rest of the floors."
"Come on everyone, let's get in."
Everyone gets in the elevator and goes to the next. Elliot shows and tells them what is on this floor.
""Second floor is the main office. Ana you can decide who will be on this floor."
"Wow, nice size rooms. I love the concept of the main floor the way you have designed it Elliot. It is open and not crowded. The color scheme is very inviting. I love the bright colors and the pictures you have on the wall."
"Thank you Ana. Now this area here I figured would be for the receptionists. I am pretty sure you are going to have more than one for all the things you both are planning to do."
"Yes Elliot we will need more than one. I like that they will each have their own area and will not be bunched up together. Yes I also like that they will have privacy when they talk to clients on the phone."
"You know Ana I should have had my office employees set up like this. They wouldn't have been so close to each other and heard everything that was being said to the person they were on the phone with. I am sure it was aggravating but they never complained about it."
"Well bro let's just put it this way. If they were not able to see you everyday walking by their desk then they probably would have pitched a fit. That they couldn't see The Christian Grey that they fawned over all the time."
Ana starts giggling and everyone else joins in.
"Oh shut it El."
"Yeah well it is the truth. I have seen them wipe drool from their mouths."
Elliot cracks up now.
"Alight let's get a move on bro."
"Ok, ok now down this hall here and to the right is where the offices are. There are six on the right side and six on the left side. At the end of the hall are bathrooms. One for men and one for women. There is a small break area for coffee and snacks down here to your left. That way no one has to go to the outside break area unless they just want to."
"Where is Ana?"
"She stopped to look in the offices."
"I am right here. Oh my lord El the offices are very nice and I like the way they are set up. I also like the big open space you have set up for all the office machines and all the employees will know where everything is by the labels you have on each of the drawers and doors."
"Thank you Ana. Paula and Joan helped me with that."
"Christian come look at these offices. They are all the same. Right El?"
"Yes Ana they are just different colors for each floor. If there is something you don't like you can tell me and we will get changed."
"Now your and Ana's offices are on the eighth floor. Paula knew what you liked Ana so she decorated your office. I hope it is what you would have done."
"I am sure she did just fine."
"Well then let's go and check the eighth floor out."
They all get back on the elevator and go to the eighth floor. When the doors open there is a picture of Ana and Christian on the wall. Above the picture is stenciled writing that says "Welcome Steele-Trevelyan Inc."
"Oh Elliot, I love the picture and the greeting. It is perfect."
"Very nice bro thank you."
"You're both welcome now come on let me show you around. This here is where your P.A. will sit Ana. She is right beside your door. Bro this is where yours will sit. To the left of your door. Oh yes I also have two desks ordered for assistants to greet everyone that comes off the elevator to make sure they have their ID and have an appointment before they pass their desk."
"You have thought of everything. Now where are the security offices at?"
"To the left of the elevator, you also have security offices on the first floor. That is where the mainframe will be. You know cameras and whatever else your guys will need to put in there. I will get with Jason, Dav and Luke so we can arrange a time for everything to be brought in."
"Come and look at your offices."
They all turn right and walk to their offices. Ana opens her door and smiles. The first thing she sees is the floor to ceiling windows. She can look out her windows and see the ocean.
"Oh Elliot, I love it. Paula, you know me so well."
"Christian come look at my office. There is a desk as big as the one you had at GEH. I swear it is the same size."
"Well damn Ana I would have to agree with you on that. I like the color of the desk. It is a deep cherry wood. It's not black like mine was. The walls are warm and inviting. Oh look, you have a seating area away from your desk.
That is nice."
"Yes I like that. I also like that I have a comfy couch and chairs for the office. I am not crazy about this huge desk but I will live with it. I might need it for all my paperwork, computer and laptop in case I need to do some Deep Sea Diving."
"Ana and Chris I have put a door between your offices that I probably shouldn't have done. But it is done now it is both of yours private bathroom. There is also a closet in there for you to bring a change of clothes if the need arises. Paula stocked the bathroom with all the amenities you will both need."
He whispers to them the offices are soundproof and smiles.
"Let's walk through the bathroom and you can check it out on the way to Christian's office."
"Oh wow blue and gray and some colors too. Looks good thank you."
"Yes ma'am I thought you would like color not so much Chris but he will have to live with it. His bathroom was always dull at GEH."
Ana giggles. Christian looks at her.
"What? He is telling the truth and you know it."
"I am just glad the bitch troll didn't decorate it like she did his penthouse. I have been afraid to walk in there with all those white walls and porcelain. The whole place looked like a damn museum."
"Oh..oh my lord..that is what I always said"…she can't stop laughing.
"You know Boo the only rooms that had any warmth were the kitchen and your bedroom. I know you did those yourself and the kitchen Gail supervised."
"Yes you are right. Now enough about all that shit it is over and done. I want to see my office."
They all walk on through the open door into Christian's office. It is set up like Ana's. Large desk for everything he will need. His comfy chair. He has a couch and two chairs.
"If you look on the side of your desk you will find wifi ports and they will charge your phones, laptop and whatever else you will need to plug into them. Ana yours is the same."
"I like this way I can charge my phone instead of leaving with my P.A."
"You mean to tell me you left your phone with Andrea while you were doing something else?"
He looks down at his hands.
"Well yes when I was in an important meeting I did."
"You know she has answered your phone while you were in important meetings."
"Yes I am aware of that. I know I shouldn't have done that but it is too late now."
"You know she was able to access your phone every time you were away from it. I am not bitching, I am just stating a true fact. She would have been able to see everything you have said in messages and emails. I bet my bottom dollar she did too."
He doesn't say anything.
"Now I have a question: did you by any chance have any combinations or codes on your phone?"
"No Elliot I might not have known what a real relationship was back then but I am not stupid. There were no access codes or combinations on my phone anywhere."
"Ok, ok cool off boys. No sense in this."
"Yes grandpa, I'm sorry."
"Me grandpa."
"Hell I am sorry for starting this."
"It's alright we are finished now and you did have a good point about my phone."
"Ok y'all what is next?"
"Out Chris's door to the left there is a small break area for coffee and snacks. With some tables and chairs. The bathrooms are over there on the right for men and on the left for women. No unisex here besides I know for a fact men are not as clean as women. I am a man and I am living proof of that."
"Yes you are El yes you are."
"Oh be quiet you."
"Alright do you want to see the other floors or just go to the top where your helicopter will stay?"
"Let's just go to the top and we can look at all the floors another time."
They all get back on and go to the top and Jason opens a heavy door for Dav to walk out first then Christian and Ana."
"Be careful ladies, we are not that high up but it is windy. Grandpa you and Ray hold on to our grands."
"We got them El."
"Chris, what do you think? I need to know if it meets your standards?"
Christian walks around the top and looks at the anchors for his helicopter and how well they are in the floor and the helipad placement.
"Everything looks in tip top shape El. Thank you bro."
"Alright now let's get out of this wind before we all blow away."
They all get back on the elevator and go back down.
"Family and friends follow me please?"
"Where are we going Elliot?"
"Just hang on a second and I will show you gran."
They walk off the elevator and stop waiting on Elliot to point the way to what he wants to show them next.
"Follow me please? Ana, close your eyes."
"Alright El I have her eyes covered she can't see anything."
Christian has his hands over her eyes and follows Elliot to the glass door. He uses a code and opens it.
"Bring her over here bro."
Christian walks Ana over to the door and outside.
"Ok little lady, open your eyes."
She lets her eyes adjust for a minute or two. She looks around and is amazed at what Elliot and his crew have done.
"My goodness how lovely and quaint. The ones we saw were lovely and comfortable too. It's just like this one was made for me. It has all the bright colors I like. It's like walking into my kitchen at home. Everything's in its place and marked."
She walks around and sees that the plates and cups are bright yellow in color. The coffee maker and espresso machine are lovely orange colors. The tables are all different colors, they match the chairs. There are hanging baskets of different kinds of flowers in, blues, pinks, yellows and purples.
"Everything is so bright and lively thank you Elliot I am sure we will all enjoy our time out here. I am glad you made all of the break areas feel like a picnic area, not just a dull place to go and eat."
"Yes Ana it has your name written all over it thanks to your hubby standing there. He knew that you would need a new break area and he filled me in on what he thought you would like. I told him I was adding a new one but I didn't tell him where. By the way all the doors to the break area have bulletproof glass and a code to use. Everyone hear what I just said?"
They all say yes.
"Oh Boo thank you I love it and I am sure we will get a lot of use out of this and the employees will love theirs too."
"Thank you Elliot, this is perfect to come out here and sit for a while. Just to relax and enjoy the day. I know our employees that will work in this building will appreciate the effort you all have gone to to make their job less stressful. Not with just their offices but this lovely break area."
"Alright now that I have shown you that. Look at this, the glass is bulletproof like I said and there is a code you have to use to get in and out of this area."
"Oh my goodness. Yes I heard you a while ago but I didn't know you were doing all that."
"I wasn't planning on it but there were quite a few men telling me that I needed to make this place safe for their Annie, baby girl, and angel. Well me to you little lady."
"Thank you Elliot and Boo. Thank you daddy and grandpa too."
"You might want to add our President too."
"Really oh my lord."
"Alright that is the office and now let's go check out your buildings shall we?"
"Come on angel, let's see the kitchens so you can do your stuff."
They follow Elliot back inside and on through the plant to where the magic is made.
"I had new lighting fixtures after we reinforced the ceilings. We replaced the old tables and put in new ones. I had shelves made for the heavier pots and pans. Didn't want anyone reaching for them and they got hurt cause some of those pans are very big."
Ana walks around the kitchen with Christian looking and touching all the appliances with tears in her eyes.
"Well little lady is this your dream kitchen?"
Ana looks around in a circle with her arm around Christian and is amazed by what all she sees. Just as El said it is her dream kitchen. Everything has a place of its own and there is no clutter. The ovens are doubles and the tops are glass and believe it or not Elliot got them in different colors. There are splashes of bright colors everywhere.
"Elliot I am not only thrilled by what you have accomplished here in this wide open space for the kitchens but the colors are brilliant and lively. It doesn't seem like an industrial workplace and I know everyone will be pleased with it."
"Thank you Ana I did my best after you told me what you wanted and I talked to the ladies that will be working here also. A Mrs. Ruth Sanders and Mrs. Kathryn Fahey. I understand these two lovely ladies will be the backbone of this kitchen making sure nothing leaves here until it is perfect as to what is made here and in the other section over there where the desserts and juices will be made. I spoke with the Clyde and Chester and I couldn't forget Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Beck and Mrs. Dickerson. I am sure those ladies would have hogtied me if I didn't include all of them in the design of the kitchens."
"Elliot you might be just right about that. Those ladies told me how they wanted everything set up when I hired them."
"Well what do you think of all of this? Is it to your liking and does it pass with your approval little lady?"
"Yes Elliot everything is perfect thank you so much. Now will we be able to open soon?"
"Yes, everything is ready now. All you need to do is call your employees back. We can have an open house this weekend and show them around. Then you can open Monday morning."
"Oh my god Boo, daddy we are back in business."
She runs over to Elliot and throws her arms around his neck. She is crying and he is patting her on her back.
"Ana please don't cry. I love you sis and I wanted this to be a happy day for you."
"Oh El I am happy, these are happy tears."
Christian walks over and takes her out of Elliot's arms and hugs her to him.
"Shh it's alright. Come on, let's go outside for a little while so you can calm down angel."
"We are going over to the office picnic area as Ana calls it."
"Alright see you in a little while. Are you sure you are alright sis?"
"Yes Elliot I am fine, just very happy. I tend to cry happy tears."
"Alright later you two."
Well that's it for this chapter. I am sorry it is a little late. I lost my best friend of 40 years this week and it has been tough. I think I have cried buckets full of tears.
