"You excited to wrestle Cody tomorrow?" AJ asks, rolling over to rest her head on his chest, breathing in sleepily as he strokes his fingers through her hair.

"Not really," he says honestly. "He might impress everyone else, but not me. Just because he came home after striking out elsewhere doesn't matter to me."

She giggles, then shrugs. "My intense, proud man." She rolls over and sits up, searching his face. "He did beat Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania, what if you find him more difficult than expected?"

"I doubt I will," he says. "I know what to expect with him. He's just a lot of flash and empty promises. It's no big deal." He rubs circles in her hips with a small smirk. "He'll come out, do his dumb little pyros, and then talk a good game and fail in the ring, as always. It'll all be fine."

She smirks. "I've always appreciated your optimism, Mike," she says, kneeling in for a kiss. Before things could get any further heated between the two of them, the door squeaks a little as it opens. They both freeze and exchange glances, AJ sitting up and looking over her shoulder.

"Momma? Daddy?" Sara asks, rubbing at her eyes. "Are you awake?"

AJ rolls off of Mike and jumps off of the bed, immediately scooping Sara up and spinning her around before dropping her onto the bed. "What's up, little one?" she asks, reaching down to tickle her.

Sara squirms and writhes before hiding against Mike. "Noooo," she squeaks, laughing helplessly. "Please- momma-"

AJ abates as Mike hugs their daughter protectively, joining them on the bed. "You want breakfast?" she asks, fingers inching towards Sara's sides as her shirt rides up, leaving her vulnerable to more tickling.

"Yes! No!" Sara exclaims, realizing where her mother's heading and jumping over to the other side of the bed to get away.

AJ chuckles and sits back, letting Sara getting away. "Ok, well, I guess I'll go make breakfast. Try not to have too much fun without me."

Sara hums and snuggles up closer to her father, relieved to be saved from the tickles. Until Mike reaches out and starts running his fingers over her sides, along her ribs, and leaving her squealing and gasping. "No! Daddy! NO!"

Mike smirks when he hears AJ giggle from the hallway and hoists Sara up. "Come on, let's go wash up before breakfast."

After a full day spent playing with the kids around packing freshly laundered gear, some street clothes, and suits, Mike helps AJ put George and Sara to bed before kneeling down next to the tub, running his fingers through AJ's bubbly water. "You comfortable, sweetheart?"

"Yeah," she mumbles through a yawn. "I'd feel more comfortable in bed with you a little later though."

He smiles at her. "I'll go change the sheets, we'll be nice and comfortable all around tonight. I'll be back in a few."

She blinks sleepily up at him. "Alright."

He moves quickly, changing the sheets and putting the prior set in the laundry basket for the morning before returning to the bathroom. She's nodding off a little in the warm water, and he leans in, stroking her hair out of her face. "Hey. Stay awake, silly, don't need you drowning in here."

"I'm ok," she mumbles, yawning.

"C'mon, let's get you to bed," he says, leaning in to drain the water before standing. "AJ." She blinks up at him as he holds his hands out to her, and she hums, gripping his hands and allowing herself to be pulled up and out.

He wraps her in a towel before leading her down the hall to the bedroom, helping her change into pajamas and tucks her into bed. Laying down next to her, he listening to her breathing as sleep claims her. "I've been thinking," he murmurs. "I know I probably shouldn't be as confident against Cody as I am, but, well. I have ever confidence in my abilities, even if I don't win. Especially after days like today with you and the kids, I know. No matter what, I'm The Miz. And I will always be awesome."

He smiles over at her, leaning over to kiss her gently. "G'night, sweetheart."
