Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 63:

Snape and Draco soon arrived from Hogwarts and Cygnus had too, confirming how much he loved his newly found granddaughter.

"What happened?" Draco asked as soon as he was able to track down his mother and Astoria.

"Bellatrix was here and she tried to take Aurora but she failed and now Aurora is somewhere in this hospital but we aren't sure where. Father…" Narcissa breathed before she rushed over to her father and he held her tight and stroked her hair.

"We will find her Narcissa. Your mother and in-laws are heading to the Ministry but I came straight here. My granddaughter is scared and missing and we need to find her before anything happens," Cygnus said before turning to the others, "Draco and Miss Greengrass go that way, Severus go that way and Narcissa that way. Somehow we'll end up meeting up but we can cover all directions and floors and hopefully find her quicker."

The group nodded and headed off in their allocated directions and Draco walked with Astoria.

"What happened?" he asked, "I am not blaming you for any of this. You did your best but nobody knew that this was going to happen," he said, causing relief to flow through every part of Astoria and she looked at him.

"Bellatrix somehow got into the hospital and came for Aurora in the tearoom. I tried to hold onto her but Bellatrix was too strong and she managed to get her. I'm guessing Aurora managed to kick out and get away and that was when the Aurors arrived to take her away but I didn't see which direction she ran off in. She could be anywhere Draco," Astoria said, "but we really do need to find her."

Cygnus was walking around and wondering how in Merlin's name Bellatrix had been able to enter the hospital in the first place. It all seemed rather odd that the ost wanted witch ever had been able to get into the hospital when the child she'd kidnapped was present in the hospital. He shook the thoughts from his mind and began to watch for any signs of his missing granddaughter.

Narcissa was walking through the corridors and worried about where her daughter was. She needed to find her and make sure that she was OK after what had happened. The main fear for the mother was that Aurora's recovery would be pushed back and that was the last thing anyone needed. Aurora was beginning to make progress but it was still so fragile that anything could set her back again. Oh how Narcissa wished Lucius was there with her and holding her close as they searched for their daughter. That was all she wanted, her husband, son and daughter together in that moment.

Severus was walking around and was wondering the same thing that everyone else was but also how the Ministry were going to detain Bellatrix and not let her escape once more. The fact that she'd evaded capture after escaping Azkaban said that the witch was dangerous and she had to be restrained in a way that no other witch or wizard had been restrained before.

Aurora, meanwhile, had hidden herself in a dark room where she felt safe and that nobody would be able to find her. She'd sat there in the dark before her eyes closed and she began to rock backwards and forwards as flashbacks began to claim her once more. Bellatrix's kidnap attempt had unlocked more flashbacks that Aurora really could have done without.

"Lucius…!" Narcissa gasped as she saw him arrive in front of her and she rushed to him, "everyone is looking for her but we can't find her."

"She cannot leave the hospital. The Floo has been locked and she won't have tried to escape the hospital. We will find her Cissa and Bellatrix is safely locked away. We've had to go extreme but it's needed sadly." Narcissa sighed and nodded before slipping her hand in Lucius' and the couple began to search for their missing daughter.

Aurora whimpered softly as she couldn't escape the flashbacks and they began to get more severe as the minutes passed. She wasn't strong enough to pull herself out of the flashbacks. She needed help.

Luckily the whimpering was able to be heard by someone. Cygnus was around the area where Aurora was. It was deserted. Forgetting all signs of Pureblood protocol, he hurried towards the sound, pausing to make sure that he was in the right direction still.

He paused outside the door and cast a Lumos spell before sending a ball of light in search of his daughter.

"Oh Aurora! You're safe now," he said as he hurried to his granddaughter and held her close before wincing as he was kicked and Aurora screamed, no doubt fearing that she was going to be taken again. Cygnus rested his hand on the 11-year-old's forehead, muttered a few choice words and soon was standing up with his granddaughter asleep.

He looked up as footsteps hurried closer to him and soon Narcissa and Lucius came into sight. The mother snatched her daughter into her arms before she turned on her father.

"What have you done to her?!" Narcissa almost shouted.

"She was having flashbacks and kicking out at me so I put her to sleep so I could move her," Cygnus told his daughter, "it was the only way I could move her."

"Thank you Cygnus," Lucius said before sending his own message to Draco and Snape.

Mediwitches and Healer Jones were soon arriving and, after much begging, Narcissa let Aurora go to be checked out. As soon as her daughter was out of sight Narcissa burst into tears. Lucius hurried to wrap his arms around his wife.

"She was almost lost again Luc…" Narcissa said through her tears, "we almost lost her again…"

"I promised you that we wouldn't lose her again and we won't. She will recover from what has happened to her and do you know why?"

"No…"

"Because she has you as a mother and me as a father and a very protective family who love her and will be there for her every step of the way," Lucius said, "that is what she now has. A safe and loving home, surrounded by family who love her and have never given up hope that she would come back to us."

"I love you Luc…" Narcissa whispered as she began to calm down.

"I love you too Cissa. You and our family, especially our children," he whispered as he kissed her head before they made their way to Aurora's room, hoping that no further damage had been done.
