Hey there everyone!

The world has changed so much since I last updated. The UK isn't on lockdown yet but it's coming I fear. Hopefully I can make the time productive and get lots of chapters and plan made. I'm rewriting Love Changes Everything and that will be reposted in time. I'm so happy to be writing this new version and can't wait to share it with you soon.

Stay safe and follow advice.

Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 66:

It was a couple of days later and neither Narcissa or Aurora were showing signs of waking up at all. They had both been out cold the whole time. The poor elf had been going backwards ad forwards between Hogwarts and Malfoy Manor with updates and frustrations were beginning to show at the lack of good news from either end.

Lucius wasn't at the Ministry despite the fact Bellatrix's trial date had already come through and he was refusing to leave his wife's side. Nobody could figure out what was happening or even why Aurora and Narcissa had seemingly fallen into comas at the same time. It was rather odd and the fact that it couldn't be solved was worrying.

"Is there any sign at all?" Priscilla asked for the thousandth time as the Hogwarts matron checked on her granddaughter.

"She's still with us," Poppy Pomfrey replied, "her eyes are responding to me but she just won't wake up. Bellatrix never hexed or cursed her. The result from St. Mungo's was clear so there is something that is happening that is unknown currently by me and the healers attending to Lady Malfoy."

Priscilla sighed before she sat on the bed her granddaughter was in. The 11-year-old's arms were wrapped around her bear tightly and she didn't appear to be in any distress.

"Oh Aurora! Please start to wake up. You're beginning to scare everybody, as is your mother. We need you to wake up so we can see how bad that Bellatrix has hurt you," Priscilla said as she pushed some of the girl's blonde waves back from her face. The hair waves were from Narcissa and it was something Priscilla had always loved about her daughter-in-law. Draco looked like his father but Aurora…? She was every inch her mother's daughter. She didn't look or act like a Malfoy but there was Narcissa's kind and gentle spirit and love for ballet, art and music within her. There also was the matter of 11 years of care to be corrected but it couldn't be forced upon her. No Aurora would need a gentle approach… something she feared Druella wouldn't understand.

She knew Aurora already loved and adored Cygnus but Druella was a different matter entirely and the Malfoy wondered just how far things would progress before Druella decided to take matters into her own hands.

Her thoughts were disturbed when she heard a voice and looked up to see the pensive face of Albus Dumbledore looking at her.

"Headmaster," she nodded before going to rise from her chair. The Headmaster instantly raised a hand.

"No need to get up from your chair Lady Malfoy," he said, almost floating across to her.

"Well no need to call me Lady Malfoy. Narcissa holds the title now Dumbledore," Priscilla said.

"You will always be Lady Malfoy Priscilla, even if Narcissa holds the active title," Dumbledore reminded her before offering her a sherbet lemon. He chuckled as he saw Priscilla's face before sitting down opposite her, "still no signs?"

"Neither here nor Malfoy Manor. I feel that we are missing something, something that would be able to explain what is going on here," Priscilla said, "they both fell asleep at almost the same time and neither has woken up yet. I have a theory but we'd need both of them here to see."

"Anything is possible Priscilla," Dumbledore reminded her, "tell me what it is."

"Well is it possible that Narcissa and Aurora are connected somehow…?"

Dumbledore fell silent as he listened to Priscilla's words before sighing softly.

"We both know that Narcissa almost died during the last month of the pregnancy with Aurora. The fact she even carried her to full term took a huge strain on her body, almost killing them both but Narcissa did fight back and Aurora was born. It's possible," he said before summoning an elf and asking it to go to Malfoy Manor and get Lucius to bring Narcissa to the Hospital Wing, "there's only one way to find out," he said looking at Priscilla.

Half an hour later and a rather confused Lucius walked into the Hospital Wing with Narcissa in his arms.

"What's going on Dumbledore? Why are we here?" he asked the Headmaster as he laid Narcissa next to Aurora.

"We need to find out why Narcissa and Aurora are not waking up," Dumbledore said, "now your mother has a theory that I think is possible."

Lucius turned to his mother and looked at her,

"What is it?"

"Well I said what if they were connected in some way," Priscilla said before Dumbledore explained.

"They almost died before Aurora was born and yet both survived and Narcissa managed to give birth to Aurora before she fully came around and Aurora was taken. I think a connection is possible but I'd your permission Lucius to see if I can find a trace of one."

"If you do can you use it to wake them up?" the Lord questioned.

"I feel I only need to disturb one for the other to wake up," the Headmaster said.

"Do it but focus on Cissa. I'm not sure how it would affect my daughter," Lucius said before sitting down next to his mother.

Dumbledore pulled his wand from his robes and pointed it at the sleeping mother and daughter, focusing on nothing but them. The world began to melt away as he focused in on the magic surrounding the mother and daughter. He almost had something but it slipped away.

"There is something there," he confirmed to the watching Malfoys before repeating just what he'd done before. This time he could see it. Narcissa's magic was tangled with Aurora's. He couldn't understand how they'd fallen unconscious but that was something to be discussed with the Blacks and Malfoys another day. He looked to see Aurora's was gold and Narcissa's white.

He watched the magic swirling around before realising that he had to stop Aurora's magic hitting Narcissa's body. He waited for the minutest break in the magic circle before placing a shield charm between the two sets of magic. Eventually Narcissa showed signs of waking up and began to wake up and moments later the 11-year-old began to stir as well.

"There's a connection between them!" Lucius gasped, "that's how she knew Aurora was still alive."

"Correct Lucius. Now we need to figure out why it is there and how it affects them both," Dumbledore said, "but first Narcissa will want answers to what's just happened. This could get interesting as we don't know exactly what it is either. All we know is it's there and could be a problem in the future."
