Hey everyone!

Happy middle of the month! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. This week is so crazy exciting for me and it's the most excited I've felt in weeks. Eurovision is this week, as is my football/soccer team's playoff matches. (I don't play, I just watch.) I'm also off to see the first Lord of the Rings movie tomorrow as well as cinemas have reopened here. That LOTR fic will come eventually, just taking a lot of set up work.

Stay safe out there!

Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 93:

Priscilla kept to her word and headed to Hogwarts just before lunch. It had been decided that was the best as she wanted to look at Aurora's medical file and then speak to Dumbledore about her granddaughter and how she was getting on at school.

Snape walked over to the group at lunchtime.

"Aurora your Grandmother is here to see you after classes. She will be in your parent's room awaiting you," he said before giving a soft smile at his goddaughter before heading back to the staff table.

"I've got Gobstones Club today," Charlotte said, "so I can't take her."

"I have a Prefect meeting so I can't take her either," Draco sighed as he looked at his sister.

"I can go by myself," Aurora said, "I know my way around better now and I can always get Helena to help me if I do," she said softly, "I don't want to be a bother."

"I'll take her," Astoria said as she looked at Draco, "your Grandmother has been wanting to meet me, according to my seanmhair anyway," she said, "that's Grandmother in Scottish Gaelic for you Malfoys," she said as she looked at Draco and Aurora's confused faces. Draco thanked her and Astoria said that she'd come and meet Aurora out of Charms class at the end of the day. Aurora nodded before the group headed to afternoon classes.

Aurora was able to concentrate in class now but, according to the small Professor Flitwick, could do with some more help connecting with her wand and the 12-year-old said that she would look into that and get some help. The Professor offered his services and she nodded in acceptance, grateful for any help she could get. She knew the connection was there as she could feel it when she was using it but the full connection that had been there when she'd got her new wand wasn't as strong as before.

Eventually the bell sounded for the end of the day and Astoria was stood outside the Charms room and Aurora chatted all the way to her parent's room and said how she'd be getting extra wand lessons to help get her connections back up to the way it used to be. Astoria stroked the girl's blonde hair and smiled, just listening and chuckling at Aurora's excitement, before they arrived and Aurora knocked on the door before it swung open and she ran up to her grandmother and snuggled into her.

"I wanted to come and see you for myself today and mummy is at home today," Priscilla said, "and I spoke to the House Elves and they made special cakes for our little tea party," she said.

"We're going to have a tea party?" Aurora asked as her eyes lit up. She then turn and looked at Astoria, "can Astoria stay as well? Please?" she asked before Priscilla turned to Astoria.

"Astoria Greengrass we meet at last," Priscilla said as she looked at the girl stood just inside the room.

Astoria instantly curtsied and greet the Lady Malfoy as, even though Narcissa was the current Lady, Priscilla still held the title as well.

Priscilla began to converse with Astoria in French and the two had and amicable conversation with each other before Astoria closed the door and sat down with them.

"What was that?" Aurora asked with a confused look on her face that Priscilla couldn't help but laugh and she looked at her granddaughter, who was now sat crossed-legged on her own chair.

"The Malfoy line is French, something your parents haven't begun to tell you yet. Astoria here is half-French through her mother and half Scottish through her father so I was able to converse with her in French," Priscilla explained as she smiled at her granddaughter.

"So Grandmother Priscilla is Sea…seanmhair too?" Aurora asked Astoria as Priscilla poured the tea and handed out the cake.

"Yes and Clan Greengrass… my family," Astoria smiled, "don't live too far from Hogwarts either. We also live in the Highlands and have so much land that we have families that live with us on the land and they all play their role in supporting my family. They do this by looking after the animals on the land and a lot of other things too."

"What kind of animals do you have on the land?" Aurora asked as she began to eat her cake.

"Chickens, hens, pigs, cows. Pretty much everything we eat is grown or reared on the land but my favourite are the horses," Astoria said before Aurora squealed.

"You have horses?" she asked as she looked at Priscilla and then back at Astoria.

"Yes, mine is just approaching adulthood and she's called Artemis," Astoria smiled, "because the land is so big there's lots of space for riding and the younger children on the lands to run around and play," she said.

Priscilla was watching the two interacting and she saw it… first in Astoria's eyes… pure love. Priscilla could now see and understand what Narcissa had been talking about when she'd said that Astoria loved Aurora like a sister. She then looked at Aurora and could that same love shining from her granddaughter's. There was no doubt about it that Astoria and Aurora loved each other like sisters.

"Maybe you and Draco can come to the lands during a holiday and see everything and meet Artemis," Astoria said before Aurora nodded eagerly.

Priscilla carefully brought herself back into the conversation and the trio spoke about random things. School was the main one and Priscilla delighted in hearing what Aurora was learning and, now Bellatrix was in Azkaban, she was able to settle down more at school. Priscilla had no doubt that Aurora was beginning to settle down and her development was truly starting.

Eventually Draco arrived and said that it was dinner and Priscilla said her goodbyes before heading back to Malfoy Manor and was relieved to find Narcissa awake and in the sunroom with Lucius.

"She's doing well isn't she? Settling down finally," Priscilla said as she looked at her son and daughter-in-law, "I also had the pleasure of meeting Miss Greengrass as well. You should have seen Aurora's face when Astoria and I conversed in French."

Narcissa laughed softly and nodded,

"I can imagine. We haven't told her much about the Malfoy line yet but, yes, now things are starting to calm down a bit she's beginning to get into a routine and that's all we really wanted for her."

"Well we wanted her back first of all but now we have her back we want her to mature and grow, hopefully catching up mentally with the rest of her year," Lucius said as he looked at his mother before he nodded softly, "that last part may be harder than the others."

"Please reassure me that Draco and Astoria are to be married. Astoria is just what Aurora needs… a sister figure who loves and cares for her like one," Priscilla said.

"Yes they are. It's all bee signed and Draco and Astoria know about it as well," Lucius said, "we sorted everything out with Laird and Lady Greengrass on our way to Hogwarts the other week. Aurora and Draco will go to the Greengrass Estate during the next school break."

Priscilla nodded,

"Aurora said she wanted to go and see the horses so that's comforting to know that that has been arranged," she said and Lucius nodded.

"Yes that was arranged as well. It'll be good for Aurora and she may even meet some of the children on the lands as well," he said and Priscilla breathed a sigh of relief as Aurora going to the Highlands appeared to be just what Aurora needed to do next.
