Hey everyone!

So it appears that this month I am late on both batches of updates. Work has been so hectic and then Father's Day drained me as well so I haven't felt much like writing. Hopefully that will change now. I also had my first COVID vaccination today so the next few days are going to be interesting.

Stay safe.

Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 95:

Narcissa had struggled at first to not be Aurora's healer but she could soon see that she was able to help Aurora more and be a mother to her daughter, rather than a healer. She was also less tired which was also good for her as well.

Easter began to dawn closer and Lucius and Narcissa had yet to tell Draco and Aurora about the plans for Easter. They'd also received word from James and Caitriona that Daphne and Astoria were in the dark as well and that Lucius and Narcissa had the choice whether to tell their children and then let the Sisters find out that way or to get the four together and tell them as a four.

"I think tell our children and then Astoria and Daphne can have a nice surprise as they find out from our two," Narcissa said as she and Lucius were sat having a cup of tea together in the staffroom for a change rather than their room, "that would also be funny to see as well," she said, a light smirk gracing her face as she looked at him innocently.

"OK then. That is the way we'll play it," Lucius said as he looked at his wife, knowing that she was right in a way as well.

So it came to be that the day that Draco and Aurora would be going to the Highlands. It was a Saturday and the first official day of the school holidays and the Malfoy children were sat in front of their parents.

"For the Easter holidays we will be sending you both up to the Highlands with Astoria and Daphne. We think it'll do you both some good to have a change of scenery and I know Aurora wants to see the horses there," Narcissa said as she looked at her children.

"We're going to the Highlands?" Aurora asked before there was a nod.

"Yes and you'll leave later on today," Lucius said before Aurora was rushing out of the room and ran all the way down to the dungeons and into the Common Room. She stopped out of breath in from of Astoria, who looked up in alarm.

"Little love? What is it? Sit down, catch your breath," Astoria said as she sat Aurora down on the window seat looking into the Black Lake.

"Draco and I are coming to stay with you in the Big House for Easter!" Aurora said, unable to contain herself any longer.

"Wait… what? Slow down mo gaol beag*," Astoria said as she processed what Aurora was saying before her face broke into a soft smile and she stroked Aurora's cheek, "you'll love it there. You really will. I'm assuming you're coming with Daph and I tonight then," she said and a nod from Aurora was all that she needed to know that was the plan, "do you have any questions that you wish to know answers to before we go?"

"What are your grandparents called?" Aurora asked as she looked at Astoria.

"James and Caitriona but they are also the Laird and Lady Greengrass," Astoria explained as she looked at Aurora.

"Laird and Lady? I must curtsy to them then. I've never met them before and that is what happens in my stories when people meet Lords and Ladies," Aurora said as she looked at the slightly older witch.

"Aurora that's not necessary at all," Astoria tried to reassure the girl but Aurora was already on her feet and trying to practice her curtsying. Astoria sighed softly before she jumped up and began to show Aurora how to curtsy correctly.

It wasn't that much afterwards that Daphne walked in.

"Draco found me and informed me of what was happening… what are you two doing?" she asked.

"Practicing curtsies for the Laird and Lady," Aurora said as she curtseyed for Daphne who let out a chuckle.

"You really don't need to do that Rora," Daphne said as she stroked Aurora's cheek before the girl's bottom lip began to quiver and Astoria shook her head and knelt down in front of Aurora.

"It's OK. We can carry on practicing if that's what you wish to do," she said and Aurora nodded.

"Sorry little one," Daphne said and sat on the window seat again, "show me what you've done so far," she said and Aurora smiled and showed off what she'd managed to do so far and Daphne had to admit that Aurora was a hard worker and Astoria explained that they have been working on the curtsy for at least 30 minutes.

Daphne couldn't help but chuckle at that and smiled.

"They'll appreciate the effort," she said softly before she said they'd better go and pack for the Highlands as Aurora no doubt hasn't packed yet.

The three made their way to Aurora's dorm where Charlotte was and began to pack. Astoria knew what Aurora would need and she watched as Aurora explained to Charlotte where she was going.

"Arabella!" Aurora said before grabbing her treasured doll and unicorn teddy, sitting back on the bed with them and Astoria smiled and nodded before Aurora went and got her hair grips and headbands that she would need. She had to have her favourite things with her after all.

Soon Astoria, Daphne and Aurora were ready and, after saying goodbye to Charlotte and then Lucius and Narcissa, the three met up with Draco in Dumbledore's office and then the headmaster waved his hand and sent the bags on before he nodded to say they could leave.

Astoria nods and takes Aurora with her and the two step into the fire and soon disappeared in a sea of emerald flames. Aurora hated the Floo Network but it was far easier than apparition.

Astoria stepped out of the fireplace with Aurora and the two found themselves face-to-face with Astoria's grandparents. Aurora instantly curtseyed and addressed them by their correct titles and the two bowed their heads, already aware from Lucius and Narcissa's visit.

Soon after Daphne appeared, followed by Draco and Cait led them to her library where drinks and a light snack were there waiting for them to enjoy as they got to know each other. Cait delighted to finally meet the girl who'd captured her granddaughter's heart and James relieved to finally meet Draco and see the wizard his granddaughter was to marry in the future.
