Happy July everyone! I just looked at my views for last month as it's been a rough day today and I'm honestly shocked at how many I got last month. I just want to say that every single view means so much to me and I never expected some of my stories to be as liked as what they are. I really hope everyone continues to like and enjoy them.

Stay safe.

Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 96:

Once everyone was sat down, Caitriona smiled at Aurora and Draco, the younger Malfoy already having a sip of the tea she'd been offered.

"It's an honour to welcome you Malfoys to the Estate. This has been a fairly quick arranged visit, but we felt it was needed," Caitriona said, "please call us James and Cait though. We are family after all," she said, and Aurora looked at her and frowned.

"How are we?" she asked, "who married who? Tell me," she said and James had to chuckle at that.

"Draco and Astoria are going to be married when they are of age and nothing will change that," James said and Aurora gasped as she looked at Astoria.

"So you really will be my sister!" she gasped before looking back at James and Cait with a slight frown on her face, "James and Cait doesn't sound right to me… now we are in the Highlands so I think I would like to call you something else. What are Grandmother and Grandfather in Gaelic please?"

Draco's eyes widened at his sister's insistence of finding the perfect names to call James and Cait.

"You are quite the girl aren't you Miss Aurora?" Cait said with a chuckle, "Grandmother is Seanmhair and Seanair is Grandfather," she said before helping Aurora to begin to say the words correctly until she was able to say it correctly. James chuckled as Aurora called him Seanair for the first time before nodding at her.

"Fear beag glè mhath*," he said softly before Aurora's eyes looked to the window and gasping as she saw some animals moving and she put her cup down and hurried over to the window and looked out.

"Aurora!" Draco said, "come back here!" he hissed before turning to Cait, "sorry about Aurora. She gets rather excitable when she sees new things," he said.

"There is no need to apologise Draco. That's part of the reason you and your sister are here… so she can see new things and Jen can look at her without her knowing," Cait explained and it was Draco's turn to frown as he looked at Cait.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Jen's going to take over from your mother as a Healer for Aurora," Cait said as she looked at Draco, "so she'll be assessing Aurora without her knowing."

"That's just wrong…" Draco started before he felt a hand on his.

"It's being done to help Rora," Astoria said softly, "believe me when I say we all want to help her but Aunt Jen needs to look at her," she said softly and Draco looked at her before he nodded softly.

"OK fine but I don't want her hurt in any way…"

"She won't be Dray. She's safe here," Astoria said and placed a light kiss on his cheek before feeling him calm down. He looked at her and nodded before Cait excused herself and went over to the window and looked out over the Gardens with Aurora.

"What can you see?" Cait asked softly as she turned to watch Aurora.

"I can see the cows and sheep," Aurora said, "I can also see the chickens and the stables," she said and smiled softly, "I want to help with them," she said with a smile, "we only have ponies and peacocks at Malfoy Manor," she said.

"Well that can be arranged. Astoria likes to help out when she's back here," Cait said softly and watched as Aurora was watching the animals and longing to see them. The Lady of the Estate allowed Aurora to watch before giving her a gentle tap on the shoulder.

"Time for snacks," Cait said and Aurora went over to retake her seat and ate quietly and listened to what was being said.

"I'll take Draco and Aurora on a horseback tour of the land tomorrow. It'll be the best way for them to see everything and maybe I can show them the houses as well," Astoria said and chuckled as Aurora nodded eagerly and the group carried on eating for a while.

"I think maybe giving the two Malfoys a tour of the House would be a good idea before everyone arrives," James said, "your cousins are also home from school and I bet you never told our guests that two of your cousins are also at Hogwarts…"

"They are?" Draco asked as he looked at a blushing Astoria.

"Jamie and McKenzie are in their Sixth and Third Years," Astoria said, "I failed to mention it because I didn't think that was has unfolded would unfold," she said and sighed, "both Ravenclaws and you'll meet them tonight at the welcome dinner. They're nice little love," she said with a chuckle as she stroked Aurora's hair gently, "we'd better get going if I'm going to give them that tour and then take them to their rooms to freshen up and change," she said and James allowed them to go.

Astoria held Aurora's hand as she began to walk around the Big House as it was called and she pointed things out to the two and began to tell them the history of the Land. There were some things that she wouldn't say. Battles and wars were certainly not for Aurora's ears at her age.

Draco could tell that Astoria was holding back on some things and he couldn't help but wonder what but then he knew some of the history of Scotland and the Highlands. He knew about the wars of the English and Scots and he could understand why Astoria was failing to disclose some of the information. He would thank her for it later as the last thing Aurora needed to know about battles and wars at that moment in time. Maybe when she was older but not now.

He was drawn from his thoughts as Astoria stopped outside a room.

"This will be your room Draco and yes it's opposite mine," she said and Draco nodded before following them to a door with an 'A' in fancy gold lettering, "this is my room," she said before walking to another one with a fairy and unicorn on it, "and this is Aurora's room and it's next to mine," she smiled, "now you two get ready and I'll come and get you soon," she said heading to her own room and hoped that Aurora would be OK at the dinner.

*very good little one.
