Hello everyone!
I am FINALLY here with new updates. I'm slowly getting back into writing. Starting small is really helping rather than trying to do the whole of a chapter at once. Things have been a little up and down but I am back and updates will be at least once a month until I am fully back writing. I want to aim for twice a month soon but, for now, once a month is the best I can do.
Thank you for baring with me since like September 2021. It's bee rocky but things are slowly heading in the right direction again. The support means the world to me.
Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere-Part 101:
At the same time Draco and Astoria were having their picnic, Aurora was still rooted to the spot as she saw Maggie looking at her. Her mind was racing and she was torn between the fight and flight response. She could faintly hear whispering and she faintly heard Kenzie and Maggie talking before Kenzie took her free hand gently.
"Come and sit at the piano with me and Aislynn. You can watch us play," she said softly and Aurora nodded softly and allowed herself to be led over to the piano where she sat down between Kenzie and Aislynn but isn't really sure what to do. She just held onto Arabella the doll, who'd come out of her bag.
"You going to be ok with her?" Jen asked Maggie as the two spoke in hushed voices by the doorway.
"We'll be fine. She was sat with Kenzie last night," Maggie whispered as she watched Aurora with her daughters.
"I'll be back soon for her but keep an eye on everything that happens for me and let me know if anything happens," Jen said and Maggie nodded before Jen made a silent exit.
Aurora looked at Kenzie before her hand reached out and her fingers brushed over the keys of the piano.
"Do you know how to play?" Aislynn asked and Aurora nodded softly.
"My mummy has been teaching me how to play," Aurora said, "nothing complicated, just simple one handed tunes," she said before looking at Kenzie, "I heard you talking about Ravenclaw last night with the oldest boy."
"I did wonder about that," Kenize said as she looked at Aurora with a chuckle, "Jamie's in his Fourth Year and I'm in my Second Year but we are both Ravenclaws."
"Why wasn't I told that there were more of you at Hogwarts? I could have had more friends," Aurora said with a pout.
"It wasn't relevant until now. We didn't know that Draco and Astoria would be betrothed to each other or that Astoria would take a shine to you," Maggie said softly, "but now you know and I'm sure Jamie and Kenzie won't mind you sitting with them sometimes," she said softly and Kenzie nodded softly.
"I certainly won't mind at all," she said before looking at Aurora and smiled.
"Play something Aurora," Aislynn said as she looked at the older girl and Aurora reached out her right hand and found the keys she wanted and she began to play the first tune she could think of as she began to focus on the tune that she was playing. She began to settle down and played the same tune over and over again as she began to relax.
Kenzie and Aislynn just listened to what the tune sounded like as Aurora kept playing it over and over again. Kenzie was the first to pick up the tune, playing a little higher end of the scale. Aurora had flinched when Kenzie had joined in but Kenzie soothed her before Aislynn joined in a little lower down the scale than Aurora.
Maggie was soon put on the alert as she feared that Aurora would get upset at both girls playing with her or if one of the girls played the wrong note. She could see that Aurora had been tense to start with but then she noticed Aurora beginning to relax and she pulled out her wand and sent a message to Jen to come and see, deciding that it would be better for the healer to see it all for herself.
Maggie stood silently by the door as she waited for Jen to arrive before silently pointing out to her sister-in-law the three girls at the piano.
"How long have they been playing?" Jen asked.
"Quite a few minutes. Aurora was tense to start with and then she calmed down," Maggie replied, "I thought that my girls joining in would unsettle her but she was able to play with them and accept them playing with her. I think it was because they waited until they'd picked up the tune before they began to play with her."
"Yes. Music appears to calm her. Astoria said that as well from what she could remember. There's a song… Lavender's… something…. Lavender's Blue! That's it. It's like a lullaby that helps to calm her. I do wonder if music will help calm her when we need it to help her," Jen said as she sat down in the kitchen with Maggie, keeping an eye on Aurora as well.
"What are you thinking?" Maggie asked as she placed a cup of tea in Jen's hand, "and do not try and hide anything from me Janet."
"Maybe music could be a way for her to build a bond with Astoria's cousins," Jen said as she wrapped her hands around her cup and she looked up at Maggie, "whether we are happy about it or not… Astoria and Draco will be married and Aurora needs to be able to bond with your children."
"What are you trying to avoid telling me?" Maggie asked, full well knowing that Jen was hiding something.
Jen sighed and listened to the sounds of the three girls playing the piano and the tune worked at three different levels on the scales. She turned and looked back at Maggie.
"Aurora is here because her parents came and spoke to my màthair agus athair* and I heard the conversation and I suspect that Aurora has something the Muggles call autism. She has all the signs and the only reason I picked up on it is because I am trained in both medically," Jen said, "Aurora's here to have fun but so I can assess her without knowing it so I can see what she's like. I'm 99% she has autism and that will explain why her moods are so up and down sometimes."
"So she's here but doesn't know the true reason… that goes against everything the Greengrasses stand for," Maggie said, her eyes wide in shock.
"Draco and Astoria only found out themselves last night because I had to tell them," Jen said, "they made the decision not to tell Aurora and seeing as the Malfoy seniors aren't here, Draco makes the decisions where Aurora is concerned and I have to respect that."
"But if she is autistic how will Lucius and Narcissa know what to do?" Maggie asked, "they won't understand."
"I will also be taking over as Aurora's main healer as well so I will be able to help them understand what is going on with Aurora," Jen said, "one thing I do know is that Lucius and Narcissa will need all the help they can get and I will help them every step of the way."
