Hey everyone!
I think I'm just about getting these in for October. The last week is always chaotic so these are a little late but they're up. Work should start calming down now as well. I am going to be attempting NaNoWriMo this year to get some chapters written for all my fics as it worked rather well in July. Wish me luck!
Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere - Part 115:
Draco's birthday dawned and Aurora was already awake and finishing wrapping Draco's last few presents. She was excited to have a birthday to celebrate and she smiled to herself.
"Awake already?" Charlotte asked as she moved to her friend's bed.
"Have to make sure everything is ready for Draco. I know he won't have time to open them this morning but I want to make sure the most best part is ready for after his meetings," she said as she looked at her friend and smiled softly, "I want today to be perfect for Draco," she said and Charlotte chuckled as she watched her friend. The excitement on Aurora's face was clear to see and that made her friend happy.
Astoria slipped into the room and yawned softly as she sat down on Aurora's trunk at the bottom the bed.
"I had a feeling that you might be awake already. Draco has his meetings this morning and then he'll be all ours for the afternoon and evening," she said.
"Where are we going to set everything up Tori?" Aurora asked as she looked at the older girl, "will it be in mummy and daddy's room?" she asked as she bit her lip and Astoria was silent for a moment as she had to think about what Narcissa had told her the previous evening.
"Yes it will be so we shall have to head there before Draco's meetings are over and Daphne will bring him to us," she said softly noticing that Ellie and the other two girls were still asleep.
Aurora yawned softly as she felt a little tired and rubbed her eyes as she felt tired.
"There's still plenty of time to get things ready so lets put this all down and you go back to sleep and I'll wake you up a bit and we can help you to finish your presents," Astoria said and Aurora nodded softly before she allowed Astoria to move her things from the bed before she climbed back into bed and was soon asleep.
A couple of hours later and Astoria woke Aurora as promised and the girl got dressed and they began to get the rest of the presents wrapped and into some sort of order.
Astoria couldn't believe how much work the 12-year-old had done to prepare for her brother's birthday. She smiled at Aurora's effort though as she knew it was Draco's first birthday with his sister back and that was something she wasn't willing to take away from Aurora or Draco.
Eventually everyone was awake and together in the Common Room, everyone's presents for Draco in a bag ready to take up. Aurora was sat doing some homework and was managing to work through it herself as well. Ellie and Charlotte were also doing homework and Astoria was sat reading a book and watching over the girls. Homework needed to be done and that was the end of the matter… as much as she hated forcing homework on Aurora when she was excited.
"OK, that's enough homework for now. We'd better head to Narcissa's room so we can get everything ready for Draco," Astoria said after a while and the younger girls put their things in their bags and then followed the almost too familiar steps and corridors to Lucius and Narcissa's room.
Narcissa smiled as the group walked in and Astoria gave Aurora the bag and the girl instantly set to work trying to figure out how she wanted to display her presents for her brother. It was in that moment that Lucius and Narcissa learnt just how much Aurora had been planning for her brother's birthday.
"Wen did she find the time to do all this?" Narcissa asked Charlotte.
"I'm not sure. She's been working on everything every moment she hasn't been doing homework," Charlotte replied, "I know Astoria tried to slow her down and did manage it but not in others."
"There! Finished!" Aurora said as she stood back to admire her work, "I hope he likes it," she said as she bit her lip before Narcissa placed a gentle kiss on her daughter's head.
"I'm sure he'll love them all," she said with a smile.
"I hope he does," Aurora said as she looked up at her mother, "I really have done my best to give him the best birthday ever."
"Darling having his sister back is the best present he could have and I'm sure that anything you have done for him he will treasure forever," Narcissa said before Lucius chuckled.
"It seems someone wishes to try and better you on the present from Cissa," he said as he saw the look on his wife's face and stopped chuckling in an instant. The last thing he needed was to anger his wife on their son's birthday.
Narcissa soon made everyone a drink and they sat there discussing the latest round of classes before Draco would finally get out of his meetings. He'd hated the fact there were meetings on his birthday but he knew that the meetings weren't going to take forever and he would be able to spends the rest of the day with his family, including his sister.
Draco instantly made his way to his parents' room and walked in, catching everyone out at his sudden arrival. Narcissa had rushed to her son and kissed his cheek before he shrugged her off.
"Oh Draco! We were meant to say surprise!" Aurora said as she looked at her brother, "you caught us out so we couldn't."
"I'm sorry Aurora. I didn't mean to at all. I just wanted to get here so we can start my birthday," Draco said as he wrapped an arm around his sister.
"I forgive you because it's your birthday," Aurora said before she tugged Draco over to where she'd set her presents for him up and his eyes widened as he saw them.
"Right then 'Rora which one first?" he asked and Aurora's face lit up before she grabbed the first present and passed it to her brother, sitting down beside him, waiting for him to open his presents.
