Pokemon: Friends to the End

Chapter 88: Camping It Up!

After receiving an invite from Professor Rowan, Ash and his friends rushed over to the Pokemon Summer Academy near Mt Coronet for a one-week training camp.

"We're going to be late, guys!"Ash panicked. "I know we are!"

"If you haven't overslept, we wouldn't have this problem!"Dawn complained.

"Well, if you haven't been spending your time fixing your dumb bedhead, we wouldn't have this problem!"Ash argued.

"Ash! Dawn!"Denise snapped with a irritated look. "Not the time for an argument!"

"Hurry!"Brock shouted.

The four heroes arrived at the pokemon academy just as the bell rang and they panted in reliefs.

"Looks like we made it..."Ash said with a weak smile.

"But, you're late!"

Dawn, Ash, Denise and Brock turned around and saw Professor Rowan.

"Wow!"Ash, Dawn and Denise said in unison. "It's Professor Rowan!"

"Pika Pika!"Pikachu remarked.

"Piplup!"Piplup giggled.

"Hm, I welcome you all to the Rowan Research Facility on Mount Coronet or for all intends and purposes, your school."Professor Rowan admitted.

The four heroes see there were other students in the school beside them.

"Alright, people!"Yuzo called out. "Gather around to see which class teams you're in!"

The students went to the chalkboard to see which group they were in.

"Hey, I am on the red team."Ash commented.

"Hey, me too."Dawn replied.

"So I am."Denise remarked.

"And me."Brock added.

Conway chuckled creepily. "Looks like I'm in the Blue Team."

Ash and Dawn freaked out seeing Conway.

"You're here too!?"Ash said in surprise.

"Conway!?"Dawn gasped.

"Ha ha."Conway chuckled. "Somehow I'd knew that you four would be here."

"Don't forget me!"

All the students turned around seeing Jessie dressed up as Jessilinda.

"The name's Jessilinda and I'm on the Green Team."Jessilinda laughed. "I'm also the school's resident cutie-pie."

Denise sweat dropped and looked at Dawn.

"She looks pretty old, if you ask me."Denise whispered.

"Well hello again, Dee-Dee and Neecy."

Denise froze in shock and gasped seeing Amy walking forward.

"Amy, it's you!"Denise said in disbelief.

"Hi."Ash greeted.

"We haven't seen you since the Floaroma Contest."Dawn commented.

"I've been busy, training and winning."Amy responded with a smirk. "I am trying not to lose in important things like contests. A good example to follow, wouldn't you agree, Neecy?"

Denise frowned at her childhood rival in annoyance.

"You a complete winner in contests? Ha!"Denise snapped with a glare. "Keep up with that bratty attitude and you won't be in the Grand Festival!"

"I'll make you eat those words!"Amy growled.

Amy and Denise glared at each other in hatred causing Ash, Dawn and Brock to sweat drop.

Dawn sighed in disapproval.

"And some things never change."Ash said with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah."Brock agreed.

Then Professor Rowan spoke up, earning everyone's attention.

"Just as there are various kinds of pokemon and various kinds of parts in our world, budding young trainers are no different."Professor Rowan explained. "Today you young people of different ages and birthplaces have gathered together for one week of excitement. Destiny has brought you all together. As you meet and work together with your fellow students and their pokemon in your classes. So get to know one another this next week and while you're at it have some fun."

"I think this would be the perfect time for the pokemon to introduce themselves and the best way is..."Yuzo started.

"A pokemon battle."Professor Rowan finished.

The students cheered while Conway and Jessilinda simply smirked at the announcement.

"Hold a minute!"Yuzo reminded.

A woman placed down a box filled with pokemon balls.

"Each and every one of you will use these pokeballs."Yuzo stated. "One pokeball for each student."

"I see."Brock responded. "So the pokemon that we all wind up getting matched up with is..."

"By the luck of the draw."Dawn finished.

Ash rushed over to the box to check the pokeballs.

"Okay, let's see..."Ash started as he placed his hand on a pokeball.

When Ash grabbed the ball, another trainer placed her hand on it.

The two trainers glared at each other and started arguing over the ball.

"Hey, Leggo!"Angie scowled. "I got it first!"

"I got it first!"Ash argued.

Ash and the trainer continued arguing with each other, they got everyone's attention.

"It's mine!"Angie snapped.

"It's mine!"Ash shouted.

"There is nothing ruder than a guy who ignores ladies first!"Angie retorted.

"Wait! You mean to tell me your a girl?!"Ash asked in shock.

"Now your really getting me mad!"Angie growled. "The name is Angie and I challenge to a battle!"

"Okay, you've got yourself a deal!"Ash remarked with a smirk and held out a pokeball. "Oh yeah, by the way, my name is Ash."

Angie and Ash glared at each other.

"Good. That's the spirit."Professor Rowan remarked. "But tomorrow is when the real battle starts, the order of today is to meet the pokemon you chose."

"Alright then, come on out!"Angie ordered.

The pokeball opened and a Monferno came out.

"Monferno!"

"Cool, it's a Monferno!"Ash chuckled.

Angie looked at Monferno.

"Angie's the name, nice to meet you."Angie remarked.

Monferno huffed and looked away causing Ash and Pikachu to laugh a little.

"Looks like your pokemon is in the wrong way too."Ash joked.

"Be quiet!"Angie snapped.

"Okay my turn, come on out now!"Ash ordered.

His pokeball opened and a Raichu appeared.

"Rai Rai!"

"Hey a Raichu, great!"Ash chuckled and walked up to the Raichu. "Hi, I'm Ash and it's nice to meet you."

"Pikachu."Pikachu greeted.

Raichu freaked out and dug underground, surprising Ash and Pikachu.

"Rai..."Raichu said quietly.

"Ash, I think Raichu is scared of you!"Angie laughed.

"Cool it!"Ash scowled. "We're going to be friends real soon!"

Dawn and Denise picked up their pokeballs from the box.

"Okay, my turn!"Dawn stated. "Come on out!"

The pokeball opened and a Grimer appeared.

A few students grew disgusted with Grimer causing them to back away a little.

Grimer began to cry a little.

"You're pretty cute yourself, you know?"Dawn asked.

Grimer became happy and embraced Dawn in a sludge hug causing her to giggle.

"Uh oh, where's Piplup?"Dawn questioned.

Dawn notice Piplup was inside Grimer causing her to freak out.

"Ah!"Dawn gasped in panic. "Piplup!"

Denise looked at the pokeball that she took from the box.

"Let's see, who I got."Denise suggested.

Her pokeball opened and a small pokemon appeared.

It was a small quadruped pokemon with a primarily grey body with a black face, throat, paws and belly. It's eyes were red with yellow sclerae and it had a red nose. It's lower jaw had two pointed teeth sticking out. The fur at the base of it's tail was rumpled and shaggy. It also has gray paw pads on its three-toed paws.

It was a Poochyena!

Denise took out her pokedex.

"Poochyena the Bite Pokemon."Denise's Pokedex said. "A pokemon with a persistent nature, it chases it's chosen prey until the prey becomes exhausted."

"Oh my gosh, it's a Poochyena."Denise chuckled and bend down. "Hi, my name is Denise. I am pleased to meet you."

Poochyena gives Denise a gentle growl.

Denise giggled and hugged Poochyena.

"I am next!"Brock stated. "Let's go!"

His pokeball opened and a Magnemite appeared.

"A Magnemite."Brock commented.

Conway had a Venonat, Jessilinda picked out a Smoochum and Amy got a Starmie.

All the students seemed to get along with the pokemon they got except for Ash and Angie.

"Come out, please?"Ash asked. "Raichu, what's wrong with you?"

"Pikachu?"Pikachu questioned.

"Rai."Raichu responded nervously.

Monferno was running away from Angie.

"Come back!"Angie demanded. "Where are you going?!"

Monferno rushed right into a Croconaw.

Monferno and Croconaw glared at each other.

"Croconaw, chill out!"the boy begged.

Pikachu ran between Monferno and Croconaw, trying to stop them from fighting.

"Pika Pika!"Pikachu protested.

Monferno shot Ember at Pikachu, which made the Mouse Pokemon became angry.

Pikachu used Thunderbolt on Monferno and Croconaw.

"Hey! Don't treat Monferno like that!"Angie snapped and took out a pokeball. "Okay that's it! I'll bring out my own pokemon!"

Her pokeball opened and a Shinx appeared from it.

"Shinx!"

"Use Spark on Pikachu!"Angie ordered.

Shinx charged at Pikachu with blue electricity surrounding him.

"We'll show them!"Ash retorted. "Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu used Thunderbolt at Shinx and the two electric type pokemon began to fight.

"ENOUGH!"Professor Rowan roared angrily, grabbing Angie and Ash by the shirts. "I told you two, you can't use your own pokemon in battle!"

"But Angie started the whole thing!"Ash argued.

"No, Ash and Pikachu did!"Angie snapped.

"STOP!"Professor Rowan shouted with a dark glare. "This school is not the place for quarrelling! It's for making new friends with people and pokemon!"

"Yes, sir..."Ash and Angie responded sadly.

Then the bell rang, earning everyone's attention.

"So that's the end of our first hour and tomorrow's battle, I will judge how well you befriended your pokemon and award points accordingly."Professor Rowan commented.

Then Professor Rowan walked back inside.

"Um...points?"Ash asked.

"Oh you don't know about that?"Angie said. "At the end of the section points are rewarded from Professor Rowan."

"Right."Conway agreed. "On the final day, the total number of points for each class team is added up to decide who's the big winner."

"Great!"Ash chuckled with a smirk. "Then, of course, the Red Team is gonna win it all!"

"Sure, just as you don't hold all of us back."Angie insulted.

Ash and Angie glared at each other.

"Says who!?"Ash questioned.

"Says me!"Angie answered bitterly.

Amy smiled at the sight.

"All of the sudden, I'm not bored in this academy anymore."Amy complemented in amusement.

Afterwards...

All the students went to their classroom and Yuzo was teaching them.

"Now as we move onto our second hour, I want you all to get close with your pokemon, understand?"Yuzo asked.

"Right!"the students responded with confident smiles.

Dawn looked at Grimer and showed him a small bag of poffins.

"Grimer, I made some delicious poffins for you."Dawn remarked. "So why don't you give it a try?"

"Grimer!"Grimer replied with a smile.

Dawn placed a poffin into Grimer's mouth and ate it.

"Wow, you've got some homemade poffins with you."Angie said.

Denise gave Poochyena some chopped salmon pieces to eat causing the dark type to eat them straight away.

"Aw, you like them don't you?"Denise chuckled.

Poochyena barked and licked his lips.

Amy washed Starmie with a wet towel until she shined like an actual star.

"There, Starmie."Amy commented in approval. "That should prevent you from getting dehydrated."

A few of the students went over to check Amy and Starmie in amazement.

Denise glared at Amy.

"Show off."Denise muttered bitterly.

Poochyena nuzzled on Denise's hand causing the girl to smile and stroke his head.

"Wow. Her Starmie looks great."Angie complemented with a smile and looked around. "Now Monferno? Ah!"

Monferno was trying to pick up a fight with Croconaw.

"Croconaw, I told you to chill!"the boy reminded worriedly.

Angie rushed forward and grabbed Monferno.

"Hey, stop!"Angie scolded. "What are you two doing!?"

Ash was checking up on Raichu and his stats and moves using his pokedex.

"Alright, Raichu."Ash said. "Let's see what moves you can use..."

"Focus Punch, Dig, Thunderbolt and Double Team."Ash's Pokedex responded.

"Raichu, you can use Double Team too?"Ash asked excitedly. "I can't wait for our battle to start!"

"Pika Pika."Pikachu agreed with a smile.

Dawn checked Grimer on her pokedex.

"Grimer the Sludge Pokemon."Dawn's Pokedex said. "It was born when sludge in a dirty stream was exposed to X-rays from the moon."

"Let's see what moves you got."Dawn suggested.

"Poison Gas, Mud Slap, Sludge and Gunk Shot."Dawn's Pokedex stated.

"Yes!"Dawn cheered. "No need to worry! I know your going to shine!"

Grimer hugged Dawn tightly.

"You can tell me how you real feel."Dawn said shyly while blushing.

Denise checked Poochyena's moves in her pokedex.

"Let's see Sucker Punch, Crunch, Ice Fang and Iron Tail."Denise read and looked at Poochyena. "Wow. Poochyena, you have really cool moves."

Poochyena barked in agreement.

"Let go!"Dawn cried out. "Please let go!"

Denise and Poochyena notice Dawn got her hand stuck on Grimer's cheek causing them to laugh a little.

"Oh, I almost forget."Denise said and took out her Fashion Case. "Poochyena, let me give you a little test."

Denise took out a pretty red ribbon and a cool dark blue bow.

"Which one do you like better?"Denise asked. "I have other colours, if you wanna see."

Poochyena sniffed at the blue bow and touched it with his paw.

"Oh, you love this bow?"Denise chuckled and placed the bow on Poochyena's chest. "So I guess that means your a little gentleman then."

Poochyena jumped on Denise's arms and licked her face causing her to giggle.

"Alright Monferno, let's practice some of your moves."Angie suggested.

Monferno fired Ember at Angie's face.

"Hey!"Angie shouted.

Monferno jumped around the classroom before firing Ember at Raichu, Ash and Pikachu.

Denise and Poochyena sweat dropped in disproval.

"Why me?!"Ash snapped.

"Because you weren't paying attention, duh."Angie muttered.

"Says who?!"Ash demanded.

"Says me!"Angie scowled.

Ash and Angie glared at each other causing Yuzo to blow his whistle at them.

Then Yuzo made Ash and Angie run laps as punishment.

A While Later...

Dawn, Denise and Brock were having lunch with their pokemon.

"Mmm, this curry is good."Dawn remarked.

Denise nodded in agreement.

Then Angie and Ash showed up with exhausted looks.

"I am starving in exhaustion."Angie groaned.

"Did you save us some?"Ash asked hopefully.

"Sorry, no more."Dawn apologised.

This shocked Angie and Ash.

"Say isn't so!"Angie and Ash cried before dropping on the floor.

Denise stood up to bring a tray that contained two large plates of curry.

"Relax, my sister is just kidding."Denise assured.

Angie and Ash grew happy causing them to eat their meals.

"Man that's good!"Ash laughed.

"For once, we agree!"Angie chuckled.

Denise frowned a little since Ash seemed to get along with Angie now.

After lunch everyone participated in games and classes.

After the Green Team won the tug of war game, everyone went back on their classroom lessons.

Ash and Angie passed out in the middle of a lesson and get in trouble again.

Later that Night...

"Okay everybody, lights out!"Yuzo ordered.

"Remember, we've all got a busy day tomorrow!"the lady assistant called out. "So let's hit the hay!"

Everyone put off the lights in their rooms except the heroes.

"Bedtime already?"Brock asked.

"I'm not even sleepy."Ash commented.

"You know, I do have a deck of cards."Dawn admitted.

"But we'll get in trouble, if we get caught."Denise reminded.

"Come on, let's play!"Angie encouraged.

"You know, I'd be more than flattered to be partnered up with Dawn."Conway said with a dark smile.

"Hold on!"Dawn scowled with a glare. "This isn't even your room!"

Dawn throws a pillow to keep Conway out.

Then Ash, Denise, Dawn, Brock and Angie sat in a circle to play cards.

"So Angie, you haven't started your journey yet?"Ash asked.

"No...I've been working at the Pokemon Daycare Center."Angie replied as she took a card from Ash's hand. "It's so busy, I hardly have a free moment."

"I can see it would be tough to find time for a journey."Brock stated.

"Must be hard."Denise suggested.

"Yeah, but still it's a lot of fun and I'm learning a whole bunch."Angie assured. "I wouldn't trade it. See someday, I'm planning to take over the business."

"Awesome, good luck."Ash chuckled.

"What about you?"Angie asked.

"Me? I am going to become a pokemon master."Ash responded.

"A Master? You? Oh, please..."Angie teased smugly.

"Oh man, what a mouth!"Ash scowled as he took a card from Dawn's hand. "I'll show her."

"I heard that."Angie replied and looked at the others. "What about you guys?"

"I'm going to become a top coordinator."Dawn answered.

"Piplup."Piplup agreed sweetly.

"I want to become a pokemon master and a top coordinator."Denise remarked.

"And I'm going to become a top pokemon breeder."Brock replied.

"I'll say one thing, you all dream really big especially you Denise."Angie complemented.

"I get that a lot."Denise responded with a shy smile.

Suddenly Yuzo came into the room.

"What part of lights out don't you understand!?"Yuzo questioned with a frown.

Ash, Angie, Dawn, Denise and Brock panicked and rushed back to their bunk beds.

"Good night, everybody!"Ash, Angie, Dawn, Denise and Brock said in unison.

The Next Morning...

Ash and Angie do some last-minute training to overcome their pokemon's issues.

Ash boosted Raichu's confidence by encouraging it to use strong attacks like Focus Punch to destroy a huge boulder.

Angie was markedly impressed by Ash's performance before turning her attention to her troubled Monferno.

Taking a page from Ash's book, Angie had Monferno attack her to improve its power and speed.

Not long after, Monferno and Angie were beginning to bond.

Denise and Amy watched as Ash and Angie raced each other outside the school.

"You three are so slow!"Angie joked.

"Well, see about that!"Ash snapped.

"Ash and that competitive tomboy would make quite a cute couple."Amy complemented.

"I don't think so."Denise disagreed. "They look more like rivals and Ash is usually stubborn."

"Oh, you will get used to it."Amy remarked. "It is just something you need to work on when the two of you get married."

This caused Denise's face to become bright red.

"Stay out of my love life!"Denise snapped angrily.

Amy snickered mischievously. "Okay."

Afterwards...

All the students gathered outside to listen to Professor Rowan.

"Alright, our pokemon battle was about to begin!"Professor Rowan announced. "I want you to keep in mind about your goals is to battle in such a way as to bring out your best in your pokemon."

"Yes, sir!"All the students responded.

The first battle was Brock's Magnemite against Jessilinda's Smoochum.

"Begin!"Yuzo ordered.

"Now Magnemite, Thunder, let's go!"Brock ordered.

Magnemite fired his electric towards Smoochum.

"Smoochum dear, don't you please show us your Sweet Kiss?"Jessilinda asked with a smile.

Smoochum fired her sweet kiss attack.

"Ah ha ha ha!"Jessilinda laughed. "Cute for days-"

Jessilinda got so taken by her Smoochum's cuteness that she stepped into the line of Thunder and dropped on the ground in pain.

"Are you alright?"Yuzo asked.

"To be totally honest, I'm not."Jessilinda mumbled.

Smoochum went over to her trainer, who quickly hugged her.

"My only worry is with your terminal cuteness!"Jessilinda remarked. "Your Jessilinda can't bring herself to battle a bit!"

"In that case, we'll call your battle with Brock and Magnemite a no contest."Yuzo stated while sweat dropping.

Next it was Dawn vs Conway.

"Now Grimer, spotlight!"Dawn remarked.

Glimer appeared from the hearts ball capsule.

"Glimer!"

Conway summoned his Venonat.

"You know, Dawn."Conway said with a smile. "This isn't a contest."

"So what?"Dawn questioned with a smirk. "We're just getting ourselves pumped up."

"Begin!"Yuzo ordered.

"Alright Grimer use Sludge, let's go!"Dawn ordered.

Grimer fired Sludge at Grimer.

"Venonat, Psychic!"Conway ordered.

Venonat used Psychic causing Sludge Bomb to hit Grimer.

"Ah!"Dawn gasped in shock.

"Conway is really good."Brock complemented. "He's totally in sync with that Venonat."

"Hey Dawn, hang in there!"Ash called out.

"Right, Grimer use Sludge, once more!"Dawn ordered.

Grimer fired another Sludge attack at Venonat.

"Using the same attack?"Conway asked smugly. "Then we'll use Psychic!"

Venonat used Psychic to deflect the attack.

"Now use Poison Gas to surround that Sludge!"Dawn ordered.

Grimer shot the poisonous gas that caught the Sludge attack causing it to hit Venonat.

When Venonat appeared from the gas, it looked pretty damaged.

"You did it, Grimer!"Dawn cheered. "It's v for victory!"

Dawn and Piplup posed a peace sign with their hand and paw.

Grimer copied Dawn and Piplup's movements as well.

Brock, Denise, Ash and Angie smiled in approval.

"Wow!"Angie chuckled. "Grimer was just great!"

"Yeah?"Ash asked. "You just wait and see!"

"Keep it up, Dawn!"Denise remarked.

"It is getting interesting here!"Conway laughed. "Alright Venonat, Stun Spore!"

Vernonat fired Stun Spore at Grimer.

"Grimer spin with Poison Gas!"Dawn ordered.

Grimer spun while using Poison Gas to counter an oncoming Stun Spore.

"That was quite nice."Conway complemented. "But Conway never gives up!"

"That makes the two of us!"Dawn admitted.

After a few attacks, the battle ends inconclusively.

Then it was Denise vs Amy with Poochyena against Starmie.

"Poochyena use Crunch!"Denise ordered.

"Water Gun, Starmie!"Amy ordered with a smirk.

Starmie fired Water Gun at Poochyena.

"Iron Tail!"Denise ordered.

Poochyena hit Starmie with Iron Tail.

"Starmie, Thunderbolt!"Amy ordered.

Starmie fired Thunderbolt towards Poochyena.

"Dodge it!"Denise ordered.

Poochyena jumped out of the way just before the electric attack could hit me.

After sending attacks at each other, both Poochyena and Starmie fainted which meant Denise and Amy's battled ended as a tie.

Denise picked up Poochyena and Amy picked up Starmie.

"Whoa, a tie!"Ash remarked.

"Well done, Dennie!"Dawn chuckled.

"Same with you, Amy!"Angie assured.

"You were all great!"Brock called out.

"Thanks guys."Denise responded with a smile.

"Right, but next time there won't be a tie."Amy warned.

Denise and Amy glared at each other before looking away from one another.

Once the other trainers battled each other, it was time for Ash to battle Angie.

"It's time, we're finally up!"Ash admitted. "Just be confident and you'll be fine, Raichu!"

"Rai Rai!"Raichu answered and smiled confidently.

"Monferno, give it a 100 percent!"Angie requested.

Monferno responded with a smirk.

"Begin!"Yuzo ordered.

"Alright, Monferno go and use Mach Punch!"Angie ordered.

The Playful Pokémon shot forward with his Fighting Type attack.

"Now Raichu use Focus Punch!"Ash ordered.

Monferno and Raichu's fighting attacks combined causing them to move back to their trainers.

"Flame Wheel, let's go!"Angie ordered.

Monferno spun in a wheel style with fire and headed towards Raichu.

"Raichu use Dig!"Ash ordered.

Raichu dug down avoiding Monferno's Flame Wheel.

"Now use Ember on the hole!"Angie ordered.

Monferno fired Ember at the hole.

"Quick, Raichu!"Ash called out. "Dodge it!"

Raichu leapt out of the hole to avoid Ember.

"Now Monferno use Fury Swipes!"Angie ordered.

Monferno leapt in the air, ready to slash Raichu.

"Raichu use Double Team!"Ash ordered.

Clones of Raichu surrounded Monferno causing the Playful Pokemon to stop his attack.

"Now use Thunderbolt!"Ash ordered.

Raichu zapped Monferno with Thunderbolt causing the Playful Pokemon to land on the ground with a weak expression.

"Hey, don't quit!"Angie reminded. "Use Flame Wheel!"

Monferno recovered and slammed Raichu to the ground using Flame Wheel.

"Ah! Raichu!"Ash shouted. "Are you okay!?"

Raichu quickly stood up from the ground.

"You two are pretty good."Angie commented.

"So are you two!"Ash stated.

Dawn, Denise, Brock and Amy watched as Ash and Angie were battling.

"Ash and Angie are both getting heated up."Dawn complemented.

"What do you expect from two hot heads?"Brock asked.

"Raichu and Monferno are now both really strong."Denise chuckled.

"Ember, go!"Angie ordered.

Monferno shot another Ember but Raichu used Double Team to counter it.

"Use Ember and hit every one of them!"Angie ordered.

Monferno used Ember to hit Raichu and his clones.

"Great job!"Angie remarked. "Now use Fury Swipes!"

As Raichu started to fall, Monferno charged forward to slash the Mouse Pokemon.

"Raichu use Focus Punch in full blow!"Ash ordered.

Raichu recovered and slammed his fist at Monferno, who punched him as well.

"Now Raichu use Thunderbolt!"Ash ordered.

"Monferno use Ember!"Angie ordered.

Raichu's definitive Thunderbolt collided with Monferno's Ember causing an explosion.

Everyone watched as the smoke cleared away.

"Alright!"Yuzo called out. "Time's up!"

Ash and Pikachu went up to Raichu.

"Wow, Raichu."Ash chuckled. "You fought hard."

"Rai rai..."Raichu said with a tired smile.

Angie gave Monferno a hug.

"I knew you could do it!"Angie commented proudly.

Angie and Ash did a fist pump together as Professor Rowan and the others clapped at them.

Later thst Evening...

"You've all done very well working and battling hard with your new pokemon and so at this point on, I would like you all to make a meeting and making friends with the rest of the pokemon in attendance."Professor Rowan responded. "And now it's time to announce the student who most developed his or her relationship with their pokemon. From the Red Team, it's Dawn."

The students applauded at Dawn.

"Me?"Dawn asked in surprise and blushed.

"Well done, sis."Denise complemented.

"Great, Dawn."Ash remarked.

"You showed them!"Angie chuckled.

"And now, tallying up the total points that's for the past two days, the team with the highest cumulative score is the Blue Team!"Professor Rowan announced.

The members of the Blue Team cheered while Conway smirked darkly.

"Second place is the Green Team!"Professor Rowan commented.

The members of the Green Team began to cheer and Jessilinda giggled.

"It was the least thing they could do as a tribute to my cutie pie Smoochum-kins!"Jessilinda remarked.

"And in dead last place is the Red Team."Professor Rowan added.

The members of the Red Team began complain at that sentence.

"Oh man, what a ripoff!"Angie complained.

"You said it."Amy agreed with a frown.

"But Professor Rowan, my sister got a higher score than any of us."Denise reminded.

"True, but although the Red Team had battled valiantly, the number of points lost by quarrelling and trouble with the unexpected time nap."Professor Rowan explained looking at the list.

Ash, Angie, Dawn, Denise, Brock and Amy sweat dropped at that.

"Oops, my bad."Ash apologised.

"Yeah, me too."Angie added.

"But I promise I'm going to make it up!"Ash vowed.

"Yeah, the battle just began!"Angie agreed.

"Pika!"Pikachu cheered.

"Chow time!"James called out.

"Time to strap onto the old feedback!"Meowth stated.

"Well, I'm sure after what happened today, I'm sure that everyone has quite worked out their appetite."Professor Rowan complemented.

The four heroes and the other students cheered as they rushed back inside to eat their lunch.
