Author's Note: In my point of view, I think Dawn would've been a better trainer, if she evolved her Piplup to a really cool Empoleon.

Pokemon: Friends to the End
Chapter 117: The Lonely Snover!
The four heroes paused for a moment on their way to Snowpoint City, where Ash and Denise will have their next Gym Battles to look at a mountain cliff with a sprawling view.
"Fantastic view, isn't?"Brock asked.
Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic stared at the view in amazement.
"Pika!"Pikachu said.
"Piplup!"Piplup chirped.
"Torchic!"Torchic tweeted.
As the group admired the view, they hear a group of Cherrim cheerfully singing in their Sunshine Form.
"Look at Cherrim!"Dawn giggled. "They're so cute!"
"Well, the sunlight is strong today for them to be in their Sunshine Forms."Denise chuckled.
"Yeah, but I get restless on a nice day like this."Ash remarked. "I can't wait to battle it out at the Gym in Snowpoint City."
"Pika!"Pikachu cheered.
"So how about a battle with two of your pokemon against two of mine?"Denise requested.
"Great, Dennie!"Ash agreed confidently. "I love to do a practice battle with you!"
Ash and Denise high fived each other.
Unknown to the gang and their pokemon, they were being watched by a figure that hid on top of the trees.
Ash and Denise began to train with Grotle and Chimchar against Luxio and Kirlia in a battle as Brock, Dawn, Piplup, Pikachu and Torchic watched.
"Grotle use Razor Leaf on Kirlia!"Ash ordered.
Grotle threw Razor Leaf towards Kirlia.
"Kirlia use Magical Leaf!"Denise ordered.
Kirlia launched herself forward and began to spin quickly to use Magical Leaf to counter Grotle's Razor Leaf.
"Chimchar use Flamethrower on Luxio!"Ash ordered.
Chimchar fired Flamethrower towards Luxio.
"Luxio slash it away away with Night Slash!"Denise ordered.
Luxio used Night Slash to split the Flamethrower into two which shocked Chimchar.
"Grotle use Bite on Kirlia!"Ash ordered.
Grotle started to run to try and use Bite on Kirlia.
"Kirlia, dodge and use Ice Punch!"Denise ordered.
Grotle was too slow to dodge Kirlia's Ice Punch and gets hit in the side of the face.
"Chimchar use Flamethrower!"Ash ordered. "But this time on Kirlia!"
Chimchar fired Flamethrower towards Kirlia.
The Flamethrower hits Kirlia, but then the Emotion Pokemon used Psychic to cancel it out.
"Huh?!"Ash said in surprise.
"Our turn!"Denise sneered. "Luxio use Ice Fang on Grotle!"
Luxio launched himself towards Grotle as his fangs began to glow blue.
"Grotle, do it!"Ash ordered. "Use Bite!"
Luxio bit Grotle's foot with Ice Fang while the Grove Pokemon bit on his tail.
"Alright!"Ash stated. "That's it for now!"
Denise nodded. "Alright."
Ash walked up to Chimchar and Grotle while Denise smiled at Kirlia and Grotle.
"Chimchar, you were great."Ash remarked and looked at Grotle. "Grotle, you were great too. For a tough match up, you did really well."
"Pika pika!"Pikachu agreed.
"Luxio, Kirlia, you two were amazing."Denise complemented kindly. "I'm sure both of you would do great in our Snowpoint Gym battle."
"Tor torchic."Torchic tweeted.
"Luxio."Luxio replied with a smirk.
"Kirlia."Kirlia giggled lightly.
Ash notice Grotle breathing slowly and looked exhausted.
"I bet your tired."Ash said. "Why not heal yourself with Synthesis?"
"Grotle."Grotle agreed and used Synthesis to restore it's health.
Out of no where, a Powder Snow attack hurtled towards Grotle and the others.
The heroes and their pokemon were now flash-frozen in various poses of surprise, with the exception of Chimchar's tail flame.
Just then the unknown pokemon reveals itself as a Snover, which popped out from behind a bush and cautiously approached.
Snover investigated the group and started doing a gleeful dance.
"Snover! Snover!"Snover cheered happily. "Snover! Snover!"
However the Frost Tree Pokemom then noticed Chimchar's still roaring tail flame.
The flame melted and broke free from the ice causing Snover to retreat in fear.
"Snover!"Snover panicked. "Snover!"
Snover hides behind itself in a bush and then peeked back to see Chimchar and Torchic freshly thawed from the ice.
Chimchar looked a little dazed as he falls back and Torchic shook himself to remove the water drops on him.
The two fire types became alarmed when they saw their trainers and their friends trapped in a frozen condition.
Chimchar looked at Torchic.
"Chimchar char."Chimchar suggested.
Torchic nodded. "Torchic!"
Chimchar used Flamethrower and Torchic used Fire Spin to thaw and free the others.
Everyone fell over as they groaned from the sudden Powder Snow attack.
"That came out of no where."Dawn groaned.
"I could get use to some mochi donuts to increase my energy right now."Denise mumbled.
"What kind of weird weather was that?"Ash asked.
"I think that was a sign of we should get going."Brock suggested.
The four heroes stood up and began to continue their walk as Snover followed them while hiding in the bushes.
Snover started using Grass Knot against the group.
Suddenly Ash fall on the ground causing Brock to rush to his aid, also falling victim to Grass Knot.
"You guys are so clumsy."Denise snickered.
Denise walked forward and ended up falling on the ground as well.
"Ow."Denise groaned in pain.
"Look at you three."Dawn giggled. "Why don't you get it together-"
Dawn ended up falling to the grass as well.
"Man that hurt!"Dawn cried out.
"What did you say about getting it together, Dawn?"Ash questioned.
"Why did we trip like that?"Brock asked.
Brock notices two grass blades tied into a loop around his foot.
"Hey, it looks like a Grass Knot."Brock complemented.
"A pokemon must've done this."Denise stated with a frown.
"Then that must've been the one caused the powder snow."Brock suggested.
"Well, I bet the culprit is still hanging around."Dawn admitted.
Snover started laughing as it hid in the bushes.
"That bush looks like a good hiding place!"Ash commented.
"Let's check it out then!"Dawn suggested.
"The more the merrier!"Denise agreed.
"Yeah!"Ash added. "Whoever did it is gonna really get it!"
"Pika!"Pikachu replied.
"Piplup!"Piplup chirped.
"Torchic!"Torchic tweeted.
Snover panicked from the heroes' threats and began to use Ingrain.
Then vines burst out of the ground to capture Ash, Denise, Dawn, Brock, Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic.
"What's going on?!"Ash demanded.
"I wish I knew!"Dawn panicked.
"Ugh!"Denise scowled. "This is really going out of hand!"
Snover comes out of it's hiding place and dances in celebration, revealing who it was that has been playing pranks on the heroes.
"Check it out!"Ash said.
"It's a Snover!"Brock admitted.
"A Snover did this?"Dawn asked.
"It must be responsible for those dirty tricks."Denise retorted with a frown.
Ash, who had his hands free, pulls out his Pokedex to identify Snover.
"Snover the Frost Tree Pokemon."Ash's Pokedex said. "Snover live mainly on snowy mountains with little human contact, but are known to approach people out of curiosity."
"That's one way to put it."Dawn commented. "Guess it needed to catch us before approaching us."
Thinking it has secured them, Snover approached the heroes.
"Grotle, I choose you!"Ash stated and threw out his pokeball.
The pokeball opened and Grotle appeared.
"Grotle!"
"Grotle quick use Razor Leaf to get us down from here!"Ash ordered.
Grotle uses Razor Leaf to free Ash, Denise, Dawn, Brock, Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic causing all of them to land on the ground.
Snover picked up a leaf and started using Grass Whistle.
"Wow!"Dawn whispered. "That's Grass Whistle!"
"Be careful! Don't listen to it!"Brock warned and started to become drowsy. "Or you'll fall asleep!"
"I feel so sleepy."Denise yawned.
"Me too."Ash added.
Snover uses Grass Whistle to put everyone asleep and then happily goes over to Ash to wake him.
Snover shakes Ash's shoulder, waking him up and surprising him.
"Ah! Snover!"Ash shouted.
Snover gleefully hugged Ash and snuggled him.
"Nice to meet you too?"Ash said in confusion.
Denise, Dawn, Brock, Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic woke up from their slumber.
"Ash, what is Snover doing to you?"Dawn asked.
"I guess Snover is showing that it likes to be friendly."Ash admitted with a sheepish smile.
Snover lets go of Ash, picking a Snoverberry off itself for Ash.
"Snov."Snover requested.
"What is that?"Ash asked.
"I think it wants you to eat it, Ash."Brock replied.
"Hopefully it's not another prank."Denise stated with her arms folded.
Ash accepts the Snoverberry causing Dawn, Denise and Brock to examine the strange gift.
"Is that even edible?"Dawn questioned.
"Here take a piece."Ash said and splits his giving half to Brock.
Snover hands Dawn a Snoverberry.
"Umm...thanks, Snover."Dawn thanked and breaks a piece for Denise. "Here, Dennie."
Denise looked at the piece of the Snoverberry with a unsure look.
The heroes all split their shares with Grotle, Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic before eating their pieces.
This caused all of them to be surprised by the taste.
"Wow!"Brock remarked. "This is delicious!"
"And cold!"Dawn added. "It tastes just like an ice pop!"
"Yeah and it's really sweet too!"Ash complemented.
"This berry exactly tastes like soft serve ice cream!"Denise squealed.
"Thanks a lot, Snover."Ash thanked.
"Pika pika."Pikachu said.
"Piplup."Piplup chirped.
"Torchic."Torchic tweeted.
"Snover must've been using using all those moves on us, so we couldn't do anything else except stop and give this delicious stuff a try."Brock explained.
"I think Snover just wants to be friends."Dawn suggested.
"Yeah, kind of an intense way of stopping us though."Ash remarked.
"You sure sounded desperate to let us try your berries."Denise commented.
"Snover!"Snover said said happily.
Later that Night...
The four heroes set out their tents and prepared to have lunch with all their pokemon.
Brock gave Snover his food causing the Frost Tree Pokemon to start eating with the other pokemon.
"Snover must've been really hungry."Brock commented. "It does a heart good to see such a healthy appetite."
"How do you like Brock's Pokemon food Snover?"Ash called out.
"Snover!"Snover answered and waved back in joy.
"I hope it's at least half as good as your berries."Brock said. "Now you make sure to eat it all ok?"
Snover nodded as it ate it's bowl of pokemon food with the heroes pokemon.
An hour later, the four heroes finished eating dinner with their pokemon and waved good-bye to Snover.
"Bye Snover, take care!"Ash stated.
"Yeah, good night!"Dawn remarked.
"And sweet dreams!"Denise added.
"Pika pika!"Pikachu said happily.
"Piplup!"Piplup chirped.
"Torchic!"Torchic tweeted.
Snover waved good-bye before it began walking and then sadly glanced at the heroes.
"Snover looks kind of sad."Dawn said.
"He seems lonely."Denise complemented.
"Piplup."Piplup said.
"Torchic."Torchic responded.
"I wonder if it doesn't have any friends."Ash admitted and called out to Snover. "Hey Snover! Do you wanna have breakfast with us too?"
Snover immediately turned around and went back to the heroes in joy causing them to laugh lightly.
Later on the group finally fell asleep in their sleeping bags.
Torchic snuggled next to Denise to keep himself warm which caused a smile to spread on his trainer's face as she slept.
However the heroes peaceful slumber was ruined when a mechanical arm holding a net grabbed Snorunt causing the Frost Tree Pokemon to call out for help.
Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic shouted to wake their companions up.
"Not you guys again!"Ash scowled.
Team Rocket began reciting their motto.
"Isn't that just like a twerp to be in denial?"
"When it comes to Snover berries, we're masters of guile."
"On the wind!"
"Past the stars!"
"And sticking with style!"
"We're Snover berry picking at a breakneck pace!"
"Dashing all hope while I'm stuffing my face!"
"A berry by any other name's not as sweet."
"When my tummy's full my work is complete."
"Jessie!"
James: "And it's James!"
"Meowth! Now that's a name!"
"Putting the do-gooders in their place!"
"We're Team Rocket!"
"And we're in your face!"
"Wobbu wobbu!"
Ash, Dawn, Denise and Brock changed into their regular clothes while glaring at Team Rocket.
"Team Rocket!"Dawn growled.
"You creeps sure don't know when to stop!"Denise retorted angrily.
"What do you think you're doing with Snover?!"Ash demanded.
"I don't think I know!"Jessie replied evilly. "We're gifting this cute little frozen berry machine to the big boss!"
"No, you won't!"Ash replied and threw out a pokeball. "Grotle, I choose you!"
The pokeball opened and Grotle appeared in the field.
"Grotle!"
"Razor Leaf, go!"Ash ordered.
Grotle used Razor Leaf to cut the net to set Snover free and the grass ice type quickly rushed up to his new friends.
"Hey!"Jessie complained. "I thought you had good taste!"
"Quick, Torchic use Fire Spin!"Denise ordered.
Torchic used Fire Spin to hit Team Rocket causing them to cry out in pain and slam onto the ground.
"Impudent little imps!"Jessie insulted and took out a pokeball. "Yanmega use Silver Wind!"
Yanmega came out of the pokeball and hit the heroes with Silver Wind.
"Carnivine, come out and fight the good fight!"James ordered and threw out his pokeball.
Carnivine appeared and then started bitting onto James' head affectionately.
"Come on!"James complained angrily. "I said fight the good fight not bite the good bite! Now Bullet Seed!"
Carnivine fired Bullet Seed at the heroes which gave the evil trio the opportunity to escape.
"And with that, we must fly!"Jessie announced.
Team Rocket jumped back into their air balloon and started to float away.
"Bye bye!"Team Rocket cackled.
"Grotle use Razor Leaf again and don't let them get away!"Ash ordered.
Grotle fire Razor Leaf, but the attack didn't hit Team Rocket's balloon.
"Allow us!"Denise insisted. "Torchic, Hidden Power!"
Torchic sent glowing blue orbs towards Team Rocket's balloon causing the evil trio to be sent blasting off into the sky.
"HOW DARE YOU DEFLATE OUR EGO!"Team Rocket screamed and disappeared in the night sky.
Pikachu, Piplup and Torchic shouted 'good riddance' to Team Rocket while Snover cheered.
The Next Morning...
Ash, Dawn, Denise and Brock sat down to have breakfast while Snover sat down eating with their pokemon in the grass.
"Wow!"Dawn responded. "What a beautiful day is going to be today!"
"You bet."Ash agreed.
"Nice day to travel."Brock commented.
Denise finished pouring water on Torterra's trees using her Sprayduck can.
"There."Denise remarked proudly and slowly touched Torterra's tree branch. "Now you won't feel dried up, Torterra."
"Torterra."Torterra said with a nod.
Snover grabbed a piece of Chimchar's food after pointing to something in the distance to distract the fire monkey pokemon.
Chimchar reacted rather angrily as he pointed at Snover, who smiled and gave the fire type his food back, which caused Gliscor, Grotle, Kirlia, Vaporeon, Torchic, Piplup, Pikachu and Buneary to laugh at the sight.
"Boy I'll tell you, Snover sure likes pulling practical jokes."Ash admitted with a smile.
"You said it, Ash."Dawn agreed.
"So what do you say we get ready to move on out?"Brock asked.
"Well, we have finished eating our breakfast."Denise replied as she walked forward.
Ash looked at the pokemon.
"Hey guys!"Ash called out. "As soon as you're done eating we're getting out of here!"
All the heroes pokemon shouted in agreement.
Ash, Dawn, Denise and Brock recalled of their pokemon into their pokeballs after they finished eating.
"Okay, now for Grotle."Ash stated and held out Grotle's pokeball.
Ash stared at something with a confused expression causing Denise to look at him.
"What is it, Ash?"Denise asked.
"Check it out."Ash insisted.
Denise, Dawn and Brock followed Ash's gaze and saw wild pokemon perching on Grotle's back.
"Look at all those wild pokemon."Brock complemented.
"They're all perched on Grotle's back."Dawn responded.
The heroes and Snover walked up to Grotle and saw nuts growing on it's back which the wild pokemon were enjoying.
"There are nuts growing on his back."Ash stated in surprise.
"Your right, Ash."Dawn replied.
"This reminds me of the nuts that grew on Torterra's back when he was still a Grotle."Denise admitted.
"That's awesome."Ash said and picked up a nut. "I wonder if they are any good."
Ash sampled the nut and finds out it doesn't taste good.
Pikachu took the nut from Ash and gladly finished it.
"Guess you either love it or hate it right?"Brock laughed.
"So Snover grows berries on it's body and Grotle grows nuts."Dawn giggled. "Pokemon are so full of mystery."
"Of course that's part of what makes them so intriguing."Brock complemented.
"You can say that again."Denise responded with a smile.
"Wow, Grotle."Ash remarked. "That's so cool."
Suddenly the wild pokemon flew away from Grotle's back before Grotle and Snover get captured inside a cage causing the group to become shocked.
"Team Rocket!"Ash snapped.
"Not again!"Denise growled.
"That's right!"Jessie giggled mischievously. "And we've just added two productive new members of our nutty little family!"
"Rare fruit and nut berry pokemon are always welcome!"James added.
"And since the Boss is gonna love the fruits of our nutty labor we'll be fat with cold cash!"Meowth laughed.
"We're on the fast track to fortune so we've gotta dash!"Jessie remarked.
"Gone in a flash!"Team Rocket shouted in unison.
"I don't think so!"Ash scowled. "Quick, Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
"Torchic use Fire Spin to toast these creeps!"Denise ordered.
Pikachu fired Thunderbolt and Torchic fired Fire Spin, but the attacks didn't do any damage to the air balloon.
"What?!"Denise said in shock.
"Now what?!"Ash demanded.
"We're so glad you twerps brought these up!"Meowth mocked.
"We're impervious to Thunderbolts and Fire Spins which makes you all Thunderbolts and Fire Spins!"Jessie insulted.
"We love volts and flames!"James snickered.
Denise gritted her teeth in annoyance.
"Alright, fine!"Ash said. "Grotle use Energy Ball and destroy Team Rocket's cage!"
Grotle used Energy Ball to destroy Team Rocket's cage.
The Grove Pokemon blowed the side off which caused Team Rocket's balloon to descend.
The cage rocks and to everyone's horror Grotle falls out hurtling towards the ground.
"Grotle! No!"Ash yelled out.
Snover quickly used Ingrain to catch Grotle, setting it down safely.
Ash and the others run up to Grotle.
"Grotle, are you okay?!"Ash asked.
"Grotle."Grotle answered with a nod.
Ash looked at Snover, who held onto the cage.
"Hey don't worry, Snover!"Ash assured. "Just go ahead and jump and we'll catch you!"
Snover continued holding onto the cage since it was too scared to jump down.
"We're one step ahead of you!"Jessie sneered.
"Meowth, show them what Jessie meant!"James ordered.
"Big dough well spent!"Meowth cackled.
Meowth took out a remote and activated the balloon's rocket engines to make it go quick.
Snover holds on to the cage in fright as the four heroes go after them.
"We won't catch up to them if we run."Denise stated.
"We can't give up, Dennie!"Ash reminded. "Come on!"
Ash, Denise, Dawn and Brock started running causing Grotle to be left behind.
"Talk to the flames!"Team Rocket laughed evilly.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"Ash ordered.
"Torchic use Fire Spin!"Denise ordered.
"Piplup use Bubble Beam!"Dawn ordered.
Pikachu, Torchic and Piplup fired their attacks, but none of them were able to hit the air balloon.
"Come back here!"Ash demanded.
"You won't get away with this!"Denise growled.
The heroes continued chasing after Team Rocket's balloon.
Grotle, who was lagging badly behind the others, tripped over and becomes discouraged at how slow it still was.
The Grove Pokemon then remembered how kind and playful Snover was towards the group and can't bear to allow Team Rocket to get away with it.
Hearing it cry in fear Grotle stands up strong, roaring with an outburst of energy.
Grotle use Synthesis to regain it's strength, then it's claws began to grow and illuminate and suddenly glow and sharpen.
The heroes was having no luck catching up to the balloon when suddenly Grotle stampedes past them at high speed on the side of the cliff.
"Grotle, what?"Ash asked in shock.
"Grotle is using Rock Climb!"Brock admitted.
"Rock Climb?"Dawn repeated.
"That's wicked."Denise whispered in awe.
"That's it, Grotle!"Ash cheered proudly.
"Pika pika!"Pikachu remarked.
Grotle soon caught up to Team Rocket and was also matching the height of the balloon.
"Hey, what's with the sidewinder?"Jessie questioned.
"Does it have velcro on it's feet or something?"James asked.
Grotle was now side by side with Team Rocket and angrily growled at them.
Jessie looked at Meowth.
"My sixth sense is telling me this is not cool."Jessie mumbled in disproval.
"Don't forget the sticky green stinker can't touch us if we're flying high in our beautiful balloon."Meowth reminded smugly.
"Airtight argument."James complemented.
Team Rocket decide to try to outrun Grotle and take the balloon up higher.
"Up the throttle!"Jessie announced. "Bye, dear Grotle!"
"Enjoy the view!"Team Rocket laughed.
Grotle gets on the top of cliff and launched itself high into the air.
"It can't fly too?!"Team Rocket said in shock.
Then Grotle slashed through their balloon.
The balloon exploded, as Grotle sailed clear, while Team Rocket was sent blasting off for the second time.
"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"Team Rocket screamed and disappeared in the sky once again.
Grotle landed safely, but Snover was unconscious and was hurtling to the ground.
"Snover, snap out of it!"Ash protested.
Everyone rushed to catch Snover before it's too late as Brock called out Happiny to catch Snover.
"Happiny, come on out and catch Snover, quick!"Brock ordered.
Happiny came out from her pokeball and speeds ahead but clearly won't make it in time to catch Snover.
"The cutie won't make it in time!"Denise warned.
Then Grotle saves the day by launching off the side of the cliff and using Bite to catch Snover.
The Grove Pokemon dropped Snover into Happiny's arms and landed on the ground.
Grotle collapsed in exhaustion as Ash and Snover rush towards it before giving it a hug.
"Grotle, you were incredible!"Ash admitted proudly.
"Yeah."Brock agreed and looked at Happiny. "You too, Happiny."
"You looked like a flying superhero back there."Denise chuckled.
"That was the most amazing teamwork I've ever seen!"Dawn giggled.
Grotle smiled at Snover and Ash.
"Grotle grotle."Grotle replied in joy.
Afterwards...
The heroes and Snover approached the foot of the mountain.
"Alright, we're almost at the foot of the mountain."Dawn said.
"So which way will take us to Snowpoint City, Brock?"Denise asked.
"Let's see the side to Snowpoint City is-"Brock started as he checked his guidebook.
"Wow, it's a Snorunt!"A little boy's voice responded.
"Boy!"A little girl cheered. "Oh, boy!"
The heroes see a group of school children excitedly rushing over to Snover with their teacher following behind.
"Now children don't run!"the teacher remarked. "You'll likely trip and fall over!"
Brock falls for the teacher and scattered over to her to flirt causing Ash, Dawn and Denise to sweat drop.
"Excellent! Excuse me, kind and beautiful teacher!"Brock said excitedly. "My name is Brock!"
"Here we go."Dawn mumbled.
"You can't never stop Brock from flirting."Denise scoffed.
Brock flirted with the teacher.
"I happen to have some delicious Snover berries, why don't we relax with a cup of tea?"Brock flirted. "My friends can watch your children and I'll put the kettle on right away."
Then Brock was taken out by Croagunk's Poison Jab.
"Just as soon as the pain subsides."Brock muttered and collapsed on the ground.
Croagunk dragged Brock away as Ash, Dawn, Denise and Snover approached the teacher.
"Hello, there."Dawn, Ash and Denise greeted with waves.
"Pika!"Pikachu said.
"Piplup!"Piplup chirped.
"Torchic!"Torchic tweeted.
"Snover."Snover responded with a wave.
"Why, hello."the teacher answered kindly.
The kids run over to Snover and gathered around it as it danced happily.
Snover gives the teacher a Snoverberry.
"I think Snover wants us to eat it."the second little girl suggested.
"I wonder if it is good."the first little boy said.
"Are you sure we can have it?"the teacher asked.
Suddenly Brock (recovered from Croagunk's Poison Jab) stood up causing his friends to get startled a little.
"Have no fear!"Brock assured. "Snoverberries are absolutely delicious!"
"You recovered fast."Dawn commented.
"No kidding."Denise mumbled.
"Then let's eat!"the teacher and the kids said in unison.
The teacher splits the snoverberry up into pieces so all the kids could have some and they were delighted by the taste.
"It's cold!"the teacher remarked.
"It's yummy!"the third little girl giggled.
The kids and Snover began playing together.
"Your sweet."the teacher admitted kindly. "Thanks, Snorunt."
"Thank you!"the kids laughed happily.
"Snover."Snover replied with a smile.
"Look at all those kids playing with Snover."Ash remarked. "That's cool."
The teacher looked at Brock, Ash, Dawn and Denise.
"Say are you pokemon trainers by any chance?"the teacher asked.
"Right."Ash agreed. "I'm challenging every gym I can so I can get into the Sinnoh League."
"Pika."Pikachu said.
"I am entering the Sinnoh League too."Denise responded. "But I'm also a pokemon coordinator that hopes to enter the Grand Festival."
"Torchic tor."Torchic tweeted.
"I'm a pokemon coordinator too."Dawn added. "I'm hoping to enter the Grand Festival as well."
"Piplup."Piplup chirped.
"Coordinators? So you two must be here to compete in the Sandalstraw Tournament."the teacher suggested.
This caused the four heroes to become confused.
"Sandalstraw Tournament?"Dawn said in surprise.
"What is that, madam?"Denise questioned.
"I see neither of you didn't know."the teacher said before she moved aside and directed the group's attention to a small town in the distance. "Look, that's Sandalstraw Town over there and very soon they're having their contest."
"Hey that's super close from here."Ash complemented.
"I want to be in the Sandalstraw Contest too!"Dawn stated excitedly.
This caused Denise to smirk at Dawn.
"No offence sis, but that ribbon is mine since I need to catch up."Denise reminded in amusement.
"No way! I won't go easy on you, Dennie."Dawn stated with a smile. "Even though we're sisters."
"I know and I won't go easy on you either."Denise admitted smugly.
"You two make sure to give it your all."Ash instructed.
"We will!"Dawn and Denise said in unison.
"So we're stopping at Sandalstraw Town before Snowpoint City."Brock stated.
Ash walked up to Snover, who was busy playing with the kids.
"Snover, we gotta go."Ash admitted as he knelt down. "But look at you with your new buddies. I'm glad there is nothing better than a bunch of good friends."
"He's right, you know."Dawn said. "And if you ever get lonely, you can always come visit them right here."
The teacher looked at Snover.
"You're always welcome to come back anytime, Snover."the teacher assured.
Then the gang say their goodbyes to Snover and it's new friends before they went away.
Ash looked at his companions.
"Well that worked out great, what do you say we head to Sandalstraw Town now?"Ash asked.
"You bet, Ash."Denise replied with a confident smile. "I can't wait to win my fourth ribbon."
"What makes you think your going to win, Dennie?"Dawn asked suspiciously.
"I don't know, Dawn."Denise responded. "But as I always say we shall see."
The heroes laughed as they began making their way to Sandalstraw Town.
