Ivanacco1: Yeah, I'm trying to find a good balance between the two. The first couple chapters were mainly to explain what powers are what, what Items they have, and what's going on in terms of power. Also, a couple of the previous chapters were just me stalling until I could get the 3 OCs needed for the upcoming teams.

(Team Complete in) Chapter 9 (Team Building PART 2/2)
After being launched through the sky, I'd realized one of the most important things.
I had forgotten to learn how to use Ki Flight.
With a Thud, I'd hit the ground.

'Sweet. Now, to see what's the deal with this place.' I check my surroundings using {Ki Sensing}. The only thing I'd managed to sense were a couple of Grimm, and decided to just kill them while searching for whatever Ozpin had hidden in the forest for me. It barely gave any exp, but it's better than nothing.
After searching for a while, I'd ended up on the other side of the massive mountain in the emerald forest. Not finding what Ozpin had put out for me, I'd decided to do some quick training. First, I'd decided to get a hang of the {Ki Flight}. I think about what Gohan taught Videl, and try to repeat what he mentioned.
'Focus on the wind. Feel for the surroundings. Use my Ki to lift into the skies.' I repeat, in my head. Suddenly, my feet are off the ground, and I'm in the air. not a lot, but enough that I'm floating off the ground. I decide to do a bit of mid-air spinning, as I stretch my arms outward, feeling the wind against my skin.
"W-wow..." I hear a voice say. I quickly turn my head, making eye contact with a Girl bearing Long, Golden-Blonde hair (are those ears, or am I just being tricked by the light?), a grey hoodie with flowers on the sleeves, and an incredibly fluffy-looking tail (nope, those ears are real). The second we make eye contact, she jumps slightly, before approaching.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to watch, It's just-" She starts, but I cut her off.
"Don't worry about it, I'm used to that kind of stuff. I'm Zero. Nice to meet you! And you are?" I descend from the air, approaching her. I gently grab her hands, and clasp them together.
"O-oh. I'm Alice Gold. Nice to meet you." She says, with a soft smile. I use Observe, as something else peaks my attention at the same time.

'They have an Adam's apple. a Trans Woman? Judging on their build, they haven't physically transitioned. I wonder if I have something that could help with that, if I'm correct.' I think to myself.
"Anyways, It seems like you're going to be on my team. Ozpin told me that anyone who sees me will be put on my team. So It's nice to meet you. I'm looking for something Ozpin had put somewhere specifically for me, so I'd like to figure out what it is." I nod, then put my fingers on my chin, tbhinking.
'What is it that Ozpin could've put out for me, that I would've wanted... wait, did he-?' I think, before I decide to switch titles.
[TITLE [Plagiarist I] REPLACED WITH [Mystical Artisan].]
Suddenly, I look towards the Mountain, as I feel something very familiar atop the mountain.
'The Four-Star Dragon Ball. It's up there.' I think, realizing what Ozpin meant.
"I think Ozpin put the thing I was looking for on the Mountaintop. Come on." I call out for Alice to follow.
"O-Okay!" She calls out, and decides to follow. I decide to climb up the mountain, instead of flying, to talk to Alice a bit more.
[FOR BEING CONSIDERATE, +2 CHA.]
"So, What's your semblance? I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." I ask, as we both follow the path up the mountain.
"Oh, I call mine 'Cards'. It allows me to make a copy of people or Grimm into a card, and summon a copy of them with their abilities temporarily using that card. I can only have 30 cards at a time, and I can only have 7 in my hand at a time." she explains.
"Oh? Have you heard of the new TCG that came out, It's called Yu-Gi-Oh. Nigiro Entertainment made it."
"TCG? I don't know what that is, but yes, I've heard of Yu-Gi-Oh. I've been buying quite a bit of those cards, it's so fun!" She gushes.
"You've shared yours, now I'll share mine. My Semblance is Spatial Manipulation. I can manipulate Space. I can open a Hammerspace, I haven't figured out how to teleport, but I can also fly using it." I explain.
"Fly with it? I know I saw you do it, but how does that work?" Alice asks, tilting her head a bit as she almost trips on a rock.
"What I'm basically doing is putting more space between me and the ground. Do you get what I mean?" I explain.
"...Kinda. I feel like that shouldn't work, but if it does, it does." She sighs, sounding confused.
"Anyways, we're nearing the top. Get ready for anything." I tell her. Alice nods, and takes out her weapon, this decently long Glaive. I decide to not use the [Yamato], as I'd rather save it for emergencies.
[Mystical Artisan] goes off again, as it shows that the Four-Star Dragon Ball is in some kind of giant nest. Alice is slightly shaking, due to the giant black feathers sticking out of the nest.
'This is the nest of that Giant Nevermore. that explains the black feathers, and the Dragon Ball being shiny, that would explain why the Nevermore took it. It's basically an Evil Crow/Raven. they love shiny things.
"S-should we really be up here? The Giant Nevermore could be back at any time." Alice calls out.
"Calm down, Alice. I'm just gonna be in and out. Quick 20 minute adventure." I brush off her concerns.
I quickly use flight to hop over the edge of the nest, as I quickly see the Dragon Ball shining against the rays of the sun. As I go to pick it up, I hear flapping getting closer.
"Shit. The Nevermore is coming back! Hurry, down the mountain!" I call out. I grab the Dragon Ball, throw it into my Hammerspace, and start flying away. I grab the [Training Gun] and shoot at the Giant Nevermore, forcing it's attention on me. I use observe to check the Nevermore's Level.

'I think I can do this. I have a plan.' I think to myself.
"HEY! UGLY! OVER HERE!" I call, flying off into the sky. I can't stay in the air for too long, due to it using my MP, as the Nevermore launches its feathers at me. I manage to dodge a couple, but a few actually hit me. One of them chops off my arm, but I quickly grow it back. As I'm flying in the air, I notice 8 people down near a set of ruins. Realizing that the 8 people down there are the Soon-to-be Teams RWBY and JNPR, I decide to do something to say "Hey, I'm the strongest here!".
'After all, I've always liked having an Audience, It's more fun that way!' I think with a smile.
I Maneuver around the Giant Nevermore using my super speed, and switch my title back to [Plagiarist I]. The Nevermore has to bank around, not expecting me to get behind them so fast.
I take a deep breath, and put my hands close together at my side.
"KA... ME..." I start shouting. An orb with the colors of a galaxy, with stars inside the orb starts growing between my hands.
Suddenly, The nevermore starts firing multiple vollies of feathers at me, instinctually realizing that getting too close would be suicide.
I'm taking heavy damage, but still managing to protect my arms from being cut off.
"HA... ME..." The Orb Is getting bigger and bigger, as my MP bar almost reaches 0. The Nevermore is still firing Feathers, as my HP dips a bit below 1/3, with my Regeneration not being able to keep up.
"HAAAAA!" I Scream at the top of my lungs, as the sky lights up in a Cosmic Glow, as I release the [Stardust Kamehameha]. The Feathers being fired towards me all disintegrate into dust, as the Giant Nevermore is halfway engulfed into the beam, it's entire torso being turned into dust.

As my MP runs out, I start falling towards the ground. My HP is about 1/4, and my MP is empty. As I hit the ground with a huge amount of force, It knocks my HP down to -4,000. I should be dead right now, but that's when something interesting happened.
[Notice: Death Percent Confirmed. Activating {Fortune's Favor}.]
[HP/MP RESTORED TO 320/450 RESPECTIVELY]
I jolt upwards, and immediately start meditating to bring my HP and MP back to maximum. Once it gets to the max, I check my Status, noticing something kinda important.

'WHAT THE FUCK?! MY AURA DIDN'T DO SHIT! I THOUGHT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT ME!' I scream in my mind. That's so fucking stupid! As I was mentally ranting, I'd gotten a notification.

There was a gift box attached, so I decided to claim it. I was going to open it, but I noticed the two teams approaching me.
Immediately, each of them check on me, making sure I'm not hurt too badly. I reassure everyone that I'm fine. Jaune, Ruby and Weiss are unsure while Blake, Yang, and Pyrrha are looking at me like a rival. Strength Recognizes Strength. As We each start to head back, I see Alice sprint over, with two other people I haven't seen before.
"Alice! I'm glad you made it out okay. Who are these two?" I wave her over, as she quickly hugs me.
"You jerk!" she yells, slight tears in her eyes. "I thought you died!"
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I promise, I'll be more careful." I say, patting her head.
She sniffles, then wipes her eyes with her hoodie sleeve. She Clears her throat, then introduces me.
"These are the other people I got for our team." She says.
"Hi There! I'm Gloss! Nice to meet you!" Says the... Boy? Girl? As they decide to go in for a hug. They have a feminine voice, but a semi-masculine way of speaking.
'They dress like a girl, but are they trans, or just a crossdresser?' I wonder, as I accept the hug, and return it.
"So Yer' our Leader? Yer' fancy fuckin' light show was fuckin' awesome as shit. Pleased to be 'part of this team. Name's Fawn, Remember it!" She says, reaching out for a handshake, which I return. She gives a big grin back, and we both let go.
'That is one hell of a voice. They sound right out of Boston. It's a decently thick accent, I was so surprised I even flinched a little.' I think to myself.
"Nice to meet you both. Welcome to the team." I say, as we all wait for someone to pick us up.
"Hey, Zero, what was the item you grabbed from the Nevermore's Nest?" Alice Asked.
"I'll show you guys later. I'm pretty tired right now." I say that, but in reality, I don't wanna show the Dragon Balls Infront of the others.
Just as I said that, a Bullhead arrived, and started to land. We all got inside the Bullhead, and headed back towards the school.
As we're standing in the Auditorium, listening for the teams to be called out, I can see everyone acting fidgety and nervous. I'm Listening to what Ozpin is saying. CRDL has already gone up, and so has JNPR, and RWBY. Glynda points at us to stand up, as we head to the stage. We stand in a row, me being closest to Ozpin himself. In the crowd, I'd noticed team CVFY, only now remembering that they were a year above us.
"And for the last team of the Night, Please allow me to introduce to you, Zero Nigiro, Alice Gold, Gloss Seaspring, and Fawn Aurelia. These four will be known as Team Nightshade (NGSA), lead by Zero Nigiro." Ozpin says, as I step forward. A round of applause goes out, as I get close enough that I can whisper to him without being too noticeable.
"Nightshade? Using our Last Names? Really?" I whisper to him.
"You try coming up with a decent team name that starts with a Z. I had to use last names." He shoots back quietly.
"Fair enough." I whisper back.
"Now head back to your dorm rooms, everyone. Classes will begin in the morning, so get some rest." Ozpin exclaims, before getting off the stage, and leaving.
We find a room with "NGSA on a hanger, and we enter the room. The first thing I noticed is that there are two bunk beds, as Gloss and Fawn immediately claim the top bunks.
'Jokes on them. I prefer the bottom bunk.' I think to myself, as I make my bed. Before I lay down, I remember something important.
"I'll be right back, guys. I just need to drop off something." I say to the others. They give a shout of confirmation, and I head off to Team RWBY's dorm. I knock on the door, as Weiss answers.
"Sorry, I accidentally forgot to give you your stuff back." I reach into my Inventory, and give Weiss her luggage back.
"Thank you. I only remembered about it when you told me about it, so thanks for that." She says, a slight smile on your face.
"Well, I've got to get back to my team. Here's my scroll number, in case you wanna chat." I say, as I hand over a card with my personal phone number on it.
"Oh, Thanks. Goodnight, Zero!" Weiss calls out, as I call out goodnight back.
When I get back, the others are dead asleep, so I decide to hop into bed, and sleep too. I wonder how the rest of my time at beacon will go?
