It Was You (Sasuke x Reader)

Chitsuki Tsugime was a broken child. Her family was torn away from her, and she was left all alone... So alone. That all changed, however, and it started on her last day of the ninja academy. She now has the chance to find friends, a family, and maybe something a little more than that in the shape of Sasuke Uchiha. Rated T for violence, some gore, and some suggestive scenes.

10. Chapter 10

Animal_Genius: I can't believe I messed up so bad. I forgot to put a disclaimer. I am so sorry guys.

Gaara: Hn.

Animal_Genius: Meanie!

Gaara: I didn't say anything...

Animal_Genius: It was inferred. Ooh, speaking of Gaara, I don't know why, but I ship him soooooooo hard with Hinata right now. I don't know what's gotten over to me, I just can't stop! You guys tell me, should I add hints of Gaara x Hinata in this story?

Naruto: Animal_Genius does not own Naruto. If she did, she would add a little less backstory and more action. Please review!

I didn't eat breakfast. I did, however, bring water in a small hidden canteen. It's mostly a habit, and I prefer easy access to activate my kekkei genkai. I could try to pull water out of grass, trees, or air, but that took too much chakra.

As I walked out, Sasuke was behind me.

"How about this?" He said suddenly, "I don't know when, but if we spar I want to make a bet. Whoever wins get to get the other person to do whatever they want for one request. Anything seriously life threatening is off the charts, but anything else is free game. Do you agree with these terms?"

Wow, he can talk! Ahm, sarcasm, get out of my brain. "Fine," I agreed.

"Good," he said, a slight smirk on his face. It kind of gave me chills.

We arrived at the designated spot and waited. For a long time. Kakashi didn't show up, though, until it was well into the morning.

"Morning everyone." Kakshi's voice surprised all of us, especially Naruto who had fallen asleep.

"Hey, you're late!" Naruto and Sakura accused Kakashi at the same time.

"Sorry guys," Kakashi said with an apologetic look, "A black cat crossed my path, and I had to take the long way."

Yeah, right. None of us believed that lie.

He then went explaining this task. "The goal is to get a bell before noon, if you don't, you don't get lunch and you'll be sent back to The Academy. You can use whatever weapons you want, including shuriken."

"What?!" Naruto protested, "Then what were the exams for?"

"The exams were only to decide if you had the possibility of becoming a genin. I will decide whether you pass or not."

"But there are only three bells," Sakura noted, "There are four of us here."

"That's right," Kakashi said with a small gleam in his eye, "At least one, if not all, of you guys will fail. Just keep in mind, if you're not prepared to kill me, you won't be able to take the bells. When I say start, you will begin."

Suddenly, Naruto twirled a kunai around one finger and charged at Kakashi. We all looked in horror as Kakashi stopped him with one hand.

"Don't be in such a hurry," he said coldly, "I didn't say start yet.

Naruto stumbled away grunting. I widened my eyes. This guy was good. We might not be able to defeat him alone…that was it. We weren't alone.

"Get ready," Kakashi announced, "and…Start!

Animal_Genius: I'm sorry I didn't update in such a long time. The last few days of school have been somewhat stressful. Next year's middle school! *grimaces* You guys tell me, is it scary?
