The next day, we were still asleep when we left. We got up 30 minutes before we had breakfast.

"We'll be stopping at Wendy's for breakfast," said Spier.

"Okay, sounds good," said Dawn.

By the time we got all dressed, we arrived at Wendy's. After we had breakfast, we continued onto Cape Cod. When we got there, we went to the mall.

"This is a nice mall," said Mary Anne.

"It's quite small," said Dawn.

"But we don't mind," said Patti.

"We're not fussy with malls," I said.

"Us, either," said Stacey.

"There's a Christmas Tree Shop around the corner, but not sure if we'd have time to shop there," said Mary Anne.

"I'm sure we will," said Dawn.

"I never been there," I said.

"I heard it's huge," said Kaylee.

"Your father is thinking about staying here for the night," said Mr. Thomas. "He did say if we don't go to Maine today, we can do that tomorrow."

"That makes sense," said Kayla.

"I don't think we had any of them near us," said Patti.

"No," I said.

"So it would be cool to see different places where we never been," said Kathi.

"I agree," said Mary Anne.

"He's thinking about going there after lunch," said Mr. Thomas.

We went to have lunch at the food court.

After we visited the mall, we decided to go to the Christmas Tree Shop.

"You're so right, Kaylee, this is huge," I said.

"Told you," said Kaylee as we giggled.

"Wow," said Patti.

"That's so cool," said Kathi.

We walked around in that store for a while. After that, Mr. Spier said, "I think it might be close for us to go to Maine, so we can wait until tomorrow."

"That's fine," said Mary Anne.

"We had a fun time," said Dawn.

"That's all we care about," said Patti.

"But I plan to stay near Hyannis," said Mr. Spier.

"Sounds good," said Stacey.

We went to Hyannis to stay there overnight, but we ended up at a hotel because when Mr. Thomas tried booking a spot at a camping site was booked.

"At least being at a hotel was better than nothing," said Patti.

"I agree," I said.

"We're still using our RVs. Some hotels allow that and I found one that does," said Mr. Thomas.

"That's good," said Jessi.

"It's easier for us to leave early while you kids sleep," said Mr. Thomas.

"Like we did this morning," I said.
