The next day, we went to grab Dunkin Donuts on our way to Oregon. We're going to be there for tonight.
"We'll be in Oregon in time for lunch," said Mr. Thomas.
"Oh, good," I said.
We arrived in Oregon for lunch by noon and we stopped at a nice restaurant.
After we had lunch, we went to a gift shop down the road and it was pretty big.
"Gosh, this is bigger than the Seattle gift shop," said Kaylee.
"I know," said Kristy.
"Very big indeed," said Kayla.
After we visited the gift shop, we had lunch before going to the campground near there.
"After we get settled in, we can go into the pool for a bit," said Mr. Thomas.
"Sounds good," said Kristy.
"I like that idea, too," I said.
But no one wants to get settled in first, everyone wanted to enjoy the pool. It was a warm day. That's what we did for the afternoon. We enjoyed it. We didn't get out until it was almost dinnertime. We changed into regular clothes to get ready. After we were all ready, we went to a restaurant that was in the campground, so it was nice. Most of the campgrounds don't have that. We didn't mind having meals in town every once in awhile.
"This is awesome," said Dawn.
"It was good to see a restaurant in the campground for a change," I said.
"I agree," said Stacey.
After we had dinner, the girls and I did some tennis.
"We'll be going to California tomorrow," said Mr. Spier.
"And, staying with my father," added Dawn.
"We all might stay there," said Mr. Thomas.
"Makes sense," I said.
"And, he called me. He might need our help when we get there," said Dawn. "He'll talk to us about it."
"What is it?" asked Mary Anne.
"He didn't say what it was," said Dawn.
"It's a mystery," said Mary Anne.
"I know," said Stacey.
