Mal's Prov

I stared at Evie, shocked. "How did you find out?" She held up her Magic Mirror. "I asked it why you were acting so weird, and it showed a glimpse of a pregnancy test! I'm so excited to be Auntie Evie!" she squealed in excitement, as Audrey came over saying "Look at the little…" Ben stood up and said "Audrey…" She ignored Ben and said "...Whore!" I growled softly picking up my spell book and began flipping through the pages till I found the one I wanted. Audrey swatted the book out of my hands as Ben stepped between us as I began to rise as he said "Audrey enough!" I watched Audrey go around Ben and slapped me across the face, while Ben and Evie watched horrified, and too afraid to even speak.

I pushed Audrey to the ground, remaining standing as I pinned her to the ground and said "don't you ever hit me!" I felt her kick me off her, causing me to lose my footing and fall to my knees. I hit her in the face repeatedly until Ben pulled me off of her. "She's a freaking Whore Ben! Just like her mother!" My eyes narrowed at Audrey's comment before I said "Beware Fore swear replace the old with damaged hair!" I swished my fingers and watched triumphantly as Audrey's hair changed. Ben and Evie grabbed my spell book before pulling me away from Audrey.

"Mal, what was that?!" Ben asked. I shrugged and said "that cat fight? She started it!" Ben gave me a small smile before saying "I know but you cannot be fighting in your condition…" "and what condition is that?" We looked up, shocked by the sudden extra voice, and saw Fairy Godmother, (I will call her FG for short) I looked to Ben, as we stammered. "What condition?" She asked again, and when we didn't answer, she took us to her office. I felt Ben's hand in mine, securely. "Be honest with me, and I can help you both by putting protection in place for both of you..." I said "We aren't telling people yet. Only his parents, and Evie know for sure, now Audrey suspects." With only that small amount of information, she recognized what condition, I was in. F.G said "You're pregnant?" I started to cry, feeling a little judged, but Ben said "She is, with my baby. Like she said though we aren't telling anyone right now, so can you please keep it a secret?" I felt the tears cascade down my cheeks, as I looked to Ben, then to FG. She said "I won't tell anyone, but I do suggest telling people sooner rather than later." I said "May we be excused? I really need to use the bathroom..." She nodded and we left.

Our afternoon passed just like our morning, slowly and hazily. By the time me and Ben met up at the end of the day, I was not in a good mood. "Ben." I said as I saw him come over to me. He pulled me against his chest, sensing I was about to lose it. Ben said "Come on, I've got a surprise for you." We left the school and went to the enchanted lake, where Ben had a picnic set up again, and I smiled, before I said "Thanks, Ben, this is perfect." We sat on the blanket, and Ben said "Mal, what do you think of us in the near or distant future getting... Married?" His question caught me off guard, but I recovered quickly to say "I would like that a lot, Although I would think Sooner, maybe before the baby is born, but I am fine with whatever you want." Ben said "Really?" I nodded, with a smile as we ate our dinner.

That night as we headed back to the dorms, Ben said "Tomorrow, I got to go to a meeting with a few friends, but we can still watch movies at the castle after. Sound good?" I nodded and gave him a gentle kiss, before saying "I love you." It was the first time I said that to him. "I love you too. Sleep tight. I'm a phone call away." I went to the dorm where Evie was waiting. "We got trouble. Someone tipped off the paparazzi. The gossip is saying there is possibly going to be a new addition to the Royal Family."

"WHAT?!" I shouted as I heard a knock. Evie got up and went to the door. She opened it, and let Ben in. "I'm taking it, as she saw the post." I nodded and went over to him wrapping my arms around his waist. "Who would have tipped off the paparazzi?" Evie asked, as Ben held me close to me. "I don't know, But I will find out, and deal with it. Now, please both of you try and sleep. Especially you Mal." I said "I think it was Audrey..." I watched Ben and Evie, exchange glances, before Ben left to talk to Audrey, which is when I curled up on the bed, and tried to fall asleep. I looked curiously under the pillows, finding one of Ben's favorite hoodie, which I pulled over and snuggled into it, drifting to sleep

In the morning Evie and I went shopping, and I got a cell phone, Ben always made sure I had enough money. We were trying to keep my mind off of everything, but it wasn't working. "M. Are you even paying attention?" I snapped my head back to Evie, who was talking to me about something. "Sorry E, I guess I am a little distracted." Evie said "You're not happy, right now. I can tell. You are acting like you were when I first came back to school on the Isle. Something's bothering you. You can talk to me about anything Mal..." I bit my lip and said "It's just that I'm afraid that..." Evie said "You're afraid that Ben won't be able to stop Audrey. Mal, I have never seen him so determined to stop something. He'll get Audrey to stop, one way or another. I promise." I smiled a little, though I was not fully convinced. Evie always knew what to say when I was upset, just like Ben does. "Mal, Evie. There you are." A male's voice said as the owner approached. I looked up and grinned. "Hey Benny Boo!" I said, as I stood throwing my arms around his waist. Him and Evie chuckled at my excitement.

"Hey Baby." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'll see you later M." Evie said, getting up. I looked to her and said "I'll probably stay at Ben's for the night, Depending on how long the movie is." Ben nodded and said "Yes. Come on. Mom wanted to talk to us." I nodded and we went to the castle. We stopped outside the library. "He's Still your son! He needs to know even though your mad and disappointed that, you still Love him and are proud of him for taking responsibility for the baby!" Ben turned to me and said "Go to my room, I'll be there in a minute." I said "Are you sure?" He nodded and I went to his room.

I was in the library, glaring at my dad. "At least I'm taking responsibility for what happens here. That's my baby! I am being responsible! The way you and Mom raised me! Or are you changing the lesson?!"

My dad came over and smacked me. "If you did the responsible thing a month ago, we wouldn't be having this problem!" I shoved him back, and said "WE DID TAKE PRECAUTIONS! I USED A DAMN CONDOM! BUT IT BROKE! IT HAPPENS, AND UNFORTUNATELY IT HAPPENED TO MAL AND ME!" My voice was raised. "Ben." My mother's voice said.

"WATCH YOUR MOUTH BOY!" My dad yelled as he lunged at me, pinning me to the ground. I kicked him in the balls, causing him to roll off of me in pain, his hand ripping my shirt in the process. My eyes met my mother's before I punched my dad in the gut. Dad gasped in pain, before shoving me down on the ground, my hair was a mess. "Adam! Ben! Knock it off!" Mom said, pulling Dad off of me as I stood and left.

I don't know what happened, but when Ben came back to the room, at me and said "Mal, It's okay. I promise." His appearance was not what I was expecting. His suit was a mess and ripped on the shoulder, while his hair was a hot mess. "What Happened?!" I said, standing up and smoothed out his hair. "Dad and I got in a little fight. Mom ended up breaking up the fight, she wasn't hurt, but she could have been. Dad released his inner beast on me. Not to worry. I'm not hurt too badly, and neither are you and the baby." He responded, as I said "Okay..." He quickly changed and we sat back down on his bed. A knock happened upon the door, and Ben stood up. When he opened the door, his mother said "Ben." I looked up and said "Belle, don't be to hard on Ben..." Belle smiled at me gently, and said "I'm not here to yell at him. I'm just letting you guys know that we're going to get away for a while, just to calm your dad down. I think he needs to get out of the castle. Mal, you can stay here if needed, and you can call us if there's an emergency. We're going to leave tomorrow morning." I nodded and watched Ben. "I think it would give us both a chance to calm down. Thanks Mom." She nodded and gave us both a hug.

When she left, Ben and I sat bac down and turned on the movie. I curled up into his chest as we watched. "Ben?" I asked softly, as he looked to me. "Yes honey?" He asked, gently. I said "Do you really think everything is going to work out in the end? I mean, I don't want you to loose the respect of your father, or even the kingdom..." "Mal, Don't worry. I won't. I'm not going to let anything my dad or the kingdom think affect us. You and the baby are my top priority. I have a right to protect you both first. If you two get threatened, then I get threatened too." I smiled hearing him say that. "Thank you Ben." He smiled and continued to hold me. I fell asleep in Ben's arms that night.

In the Morning I woke up an hour earlier than I needed to be. "Ben?" I groaned groggily, as Ben returned and sat back down beside me, saying "it's Okay, I'm right here. I brought you some crackers, from the kitchen and some water. " I said "You're the best." I took a sip and ate a few crackers before I sat up more, and looked into his eyes. "Are you going to school today?" I asked gently as he gave a comical look. "Sweetie, it's Sunday... We don't have anything really to do today, I only have a couple meetings." I said "Oh gosh! I completely forgot." We went back to sleep for an hour. When we woke up we got ready, and Ben said "I also have to go to see the dwarfs again this afternoon. Personal Reasons honey. Oh and Evie and Lonnie are going to come over and keep you company while I'm away." I smiled, as I loved hanging out with them! "Thanks Ben!" I said excitedly.

My Morning passed uneventfully. When Evie and Lonnie came over, we ate Lunch, watched a movie, and then we went ot Aurora and Phillip's to see if they could to talk to Audrey about backing off on me, because I didn't want to feel like I have to be afraid to go anywhere. When we knocked on the door, the face that greeted us, was one we did not expect to see.

"Audrey. Are your Parents home?" I tried to ask as calmly as I could. Evie and Lonnie at my side made it easier. "Who wants to know?" She said icily. I said "Audrey, Now is not the time to piss me off- Again. Now let me see your parents or else you will have to deal with Ben." The second I mentioned Ben's name she let us in and went to get her parents.

When her parents came into the room, I said "Your Highnesses." I bowed respectfully. "First of all, I wanted to apologize for my mother and what she tried to do. I know I don't have to, But I do want to." They nodded and said "Don't worry about it. We can see you're not your mother and the fact you are apologizing for her proves it, as well as other things." I smiled happily, that they seemed to forgive her in the sense. Aurora smiled back and said "Now, to what do we owe this pleasure?" I put on a serious face, allowing Evie and Lonnie to relax a little bit. "It's about Audrey... A few weeks ago, she threatened to see me sent back to the island if I ever got pregnant, and even though I've tried to be kind to her, she's not making it easy. Recently she tipped off the paparazzi, about us- Ben and I possibly being pregnant, and Ben went to confront her. From what he told me, she said that she would do it again, and this first time she did has caused me nothing but stress... There is enough stress going on with Ben's dad barely speaking to either of us, that I don't want to add another stress to either mine or Ben's lives right now. I know I don't have any right to ask you guys for any favors, but if you could try talking to her, and convince her to back off, I would really appreciate, and I know Ben would too." Evie said "Yeah, Mal's right, I've seen how upset and miserable she has been. I know if Audrey backed off Mal would be able to relax a little. "

We watched Aurora and Phillip's face's turn to one of compassion before Phillip said "Of course we will talk to her about it. I agree that you should not have any more stress in your life, and if making sure Audrey backs off, then I will make sure she backs off." Aurora said "So will I. I know it's not easy for you Mal, and if making sure she backs off, then I will also make sure she backs off too. You are not your mother's daughter. You stood up to her to protect us all. We owe you for that, Mal." I nodded and Lonnie said "Mal we better get back before Ben gets home." I looked at the clock on the mantel, before I said "You're right, Lonnie. We do have to go but thank you for all your help." We bowed as we headed out the door and towards the castle, arriving at the same exact time as Ben. "Hey where were you three just now?" he asked, as I looked to Lonnie and Evie, as if to say 'Don't say a word.' Evie and Lonnie said "oh nowhere specifically... Just getting stuff to make cookies, for you guys to eat later."

Ben said "Then where are the bags?" He eyed me suspiciously. The girls excused themselves, which is when I said "Okay, Fine. We went to Audrey's Parents house... To talk to her parents..." Ben eyes widen at me. "I asked them to talk to Audrey about backing off... They said they would." I explained. Ben said "Was she there?" I nodded, and said "Yes, she was. But when I mentioned your name Audrey got scare and let us talk to her parents." Ben said "Well as long as you didn't get hurt..." Later that night while Ben and I ate dinner, Ben said "I'm really proud of you today, Mal. Although I do wish you would have told me, so I could have gone with you. I am very proud that you went over and stood up to Audrey." I said "I also apologized to her parent's what my mom tried to do. I know i didn't and should not have too but I wanted to." Ben said "I'm very proud of you. I really am." I took a bite of the food, and Ben said "I'm going to classes tomorrow, and You should too." I nodded and said "Okay Benny boo. Love you."

We decided to sleep in the dorms tonight, even though I didn't like the idea. I knew if I didn't feel him beside me, I'd most definitely have nightmares. We stopped right outside my dorm room door and Ben said "I'll come get you for breakfast Honey." I nodded and went inside, after placing a kiss on Ben's lips. Evie said "Hey, you're 5 minutes late. FG was here looking for you!" I said "Evie, I am fine. Ben and I had a lot to do." I said as I quickly changed into my pajamas. A knock happened upon the door, and I went to open it. When I did, I saw FG. "Good evening, FG" I said, as politely as I could muster. "Where have you been" She asked, eyeing me gently. "I was with Ben. We had a busy weekend, and lost track of time. I know you have a thing about curfews, and I accept the responsibility of everything. I promise next time we'll pay more attention to the time." F.G. smiled and nodded.

Once she left, I laid down on the bed. "M, There's another post..." I said "WHAT?! I SWEAR TO GOD..." Evie said "Mal! Calm down." I said "No! She needs to stop!" I must've hit Ben's speed dial, cause next thing I knew, I heard his voice saying "Mal, Darling, calm down like Evie said." I picked up the phone, putting it to my ear, after taking it off speaker phone. "There... Okay... Fine... You're right. I love you too." I Hung up and said "Ben said to leave it to him. So, let's just do that. Come on let's get some sleep." I laid down on my bed and drifted to sleep.

I woke in the middle of the night from a nightmare. I immediately got dressed and tiptoed to Ben's dorm. I knocked 3 times and then called him. I waited for him to come to the door. When he did, we went to the gardens, and sat on the bench. Ben said "Me dead again?" I nodded and said "Yes. I'm sorry, I don't know why they keep happening." I rested my head on his shoulder, allowing Ben to hold me. "I wish I could take it all away." He whispered. After a few minutes, he said "Mal, I want to ask you something." I moved as he stood. "I met this girl who rocked my world like never before, Now I'm living just for her, and I won't ever stop. I never thought it could happen to a guy like me. Now look at what you've done, you've got me down on my knee." I blushed, as he sung, till I realized he was on one knee. "Ben!" I said, in shock. "Mal, It's you and me against the world. I love you so much, and I know our lives are uncertain, and we have big changes coming our way, but I promise, I will never let you feel alone, or scared, and you will be top priority, if you feel threatened come to me, and I'll protect you. Will you marry me? Will you be my queen?"
