(A/N): Hey Guys! So, here's the next chapter! And yay! (sort of) Snape's back! (ish)

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recgonise.

Leo

Having an argument with Severus Snape in the middle of Hogsmeade Village was not what I had in mind for the first actual date I had taken Brooke on, but sometimes things don't work out the way you want them to.

Sometimes for the better.

Most times though...

If you have a very open mind, maybe you could force it and say the day went well.

If you were me however...

You'd say the date went fantastically.

As I said before:

Having an argument with Severus Snape was not on my list of things to do today.

Seeing Brooke knock him on his arse though? I could do that for the rest of my life.

It was a pretty standard Saturday visit to Hogsmeade- to begin with anyway- and instead of going with my friends like I usually would, I was taking Brooke on... a date.

Our first real date. E.g: Outside the castle.

Again, it was pretty normal.

First, we went to Madam Puddifoot's, the hotspot for dates.

Within five minutes we left the sweet little tea shop, noses burning from the overpowering stench of six different types of flower that perfumed the muggy air.

From there, we went to Honeydukes, sharing a Zezbet's candle and stocking up on chocolate for Remus before heading to the Three Broomstick's.

And that's when Severus Snape stepped out in front of me.

"Leonides." He greeted curtly, and I forced myself not to roll my eyes at the smaller, weaker boy.

"Severus." He crossed his arms over his chest, eyes already narrowed.

"I heard you attended the Mikaelsonn's gala this Christmas." What was he getting at...?

"That must have been tough for you to hear." I sneered, like a true pureblood, and he scowled at me.

"Yes. Especially since you don't exactly fit the guest requirement of 'pureblood only'." I glared at him, clenching my jaw, and I could feel the jab of fear coursing through his veins as I towered over him, but he didn't let it show in his expression.

"Ah, true. But my blood's still purer than yours, and doesn't that just drive you batty?" I teased, voice low, and a small smirk on my lips.

"Your blood is impure in every sense of the word, scum, you're a monster, immoral and impudent. You better hope that we never come face to face in a dark alley." My eyebrows shot up.

"Why? Are you afraid of what I might do?" His lips twisted in a snarl.

"Because you're a vampire, Leonides Judas Joannis, and if you even think about going near Lily again, I'll stake you so fast that-"

And that's when she hit him.

Knocked him clean off his feet.

"If you even think about coming near my boyfriend again, I'll kill you."

And with that, she dragged me away from where he lay flat on his back on the ground, fingers digging into my wrist, though I barely felt it.

"What an impotent little snot rag!" She growled as we entered the Three Broomsticks, and I had to laugh.

"Who's an 'impotent little snot rag'?" James inquired as we neared their table, and Brooke sighed sharply.

"Severus Snape." I noticed that Lily wasn't with them yet, and was thankful for that fact as their eyebrows shot up.

"What? Why?"

"He threatened to kill Leo." They all gaped at me.

"What?!" Peter exclaimed, and I shrugged.

"Well, it's not like he was really serious. The only people who can kill vampires, other than vampires, are vampire hunters. You need special training and shit." I said, trying to distract from the actual subject, but Sirius was having none of it.

"Why does seemingly everyone want to kill you?" He asked exasperatedly, and I shot him a small smile.

"Snape just wants me to stay away from Lily, so-" Speak of the devil, Lily cut me off as she dropped a hand down on my shoulder.

"Leo," She began, tone eerily calm for the way her jaw was clenched. "Why is Sev's nose bleeding?" For once, I had plausible deniability.

"Wasn't me." The look she gave me told me she didn't believe me, but Brooke nodded.

"It was, however, me." Lily rounded on Brooke in disbelief.

"Why?!" She exclaimed, and Brooke met my eyes over Lily's shoulder before returning it to her

"He was trying to goad Leo into a fight, and saying things about Leo's... veelaness." Lily gaped at her for a second before rounding on me.

"Is that true?" I shrugged for a second before wincing as Peter elbowed me, and nodded.

"Yeah, it's true." Lily bit her lip, shaking her head.

"Why can't you two just get along?" Brooke scoffed.

"Leo was being perfectly civil. Snape just came over and started having a go at him." Lily raised an eyebrow before sighing, and heading back to where Severus was sitting at the opposite end of the Three Broomsticks, trying to staunch the bleeding from his nose with a set of table napkins.

"Think he'll own up?" Sirius asked, and I shrugged.

"More likely that he'll just tell her exactly what the fight was about, actually." This fact dawned on them, and James jumped up, rushing over to Lily.

I stole his butterbeer, sipping it absentmindedly.

"Aren't you worried about it?" Elaine asked, casting glances over at where James was currently trying to pull Lily away from Severus.

"Sort of." I admitted, before shrugging. "It's only two weeks till the end of term now. There's not much he can do that'll make her hate me for the whole summer."

(A/N): Ooh guys, it's getting closer to the summer before fifth year! The first MAJOR plot twist-y thing is coming soon, yay!
