The following day things started to get back to normal little by little or as normal as things could be after a quirk attack like that when Uraraka found herself leaving class to go back to the dorms, checking her watch again she realized she still had half an hour before meeting some of the others to study.

"Hey Uraraka, you got a minute?"

"Sure." She smiled continuing on her pace along the green lawn. "What's up Todoroki?"

Scratching the back of his head he tried to come up with the best way to start. "Well, you see… I've been meaning to talk to you about what happened the other day so that I can apologize."

"Huh?" Tilting her head, she came to a complete stop not sure as to what he was talking about. If anyone had to apologize it would have to be her.

Understanding her confusion, he made sure to clarify. "Back at the library, I should have realized something was wrong sooner and done something."

"Oh that…" she said placing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Trust me, I should be the one apologizing here and I'm sorry if I hurt you by the way." She scrunched up her face at the memory, still quite embarrassed and hoping he would accept her apology.

"It's fine." He gently said furrowing his brows. "You were… pretty strong."

With a hearty laugh Uraraka turned her body to face him fully, raising her fist. "Still friends?"

Seeing him awkwardly lift his own fist and analyzing it, she realized that he wasn't quite sure what to do before she smiled pumping his fist with hers.

"Always." he said, giving her a kind smile until they heard the schools' doors swing up.

"ICY HOT!" Bakugo barked marching over to them with an embarrassed Deku waiving at the students they passed by.

"What is it?" the stoic boy asked.

"Endeavor called saying he needed us down there ASAP." Bakugo said flicking his eyes to hers and felt himself stiffen before quickly looking away when he felt his cheeks warm along with hers.

"He said he's been calling you." Deku happily offered.

"I guess I must've missed it." Todoroki said pulling out his phone and deleting the new messages.

"I thought you guys were getting along?" Uraraka curiously asked.

"It's just he's suddenly been feeling like we need to spend more time together…I guess more father son time if you will."

"Well, whatever it is, I'm still not a damn secretary you hear me!" Bakugo growled.

"Sure." Came Todoroki's simple answer making the other boys eye twitch.

"So, we'll see you later Uraraka?" Deku turned to leave lifting a questioning eyebrow.

"Yup. You guys have fun and be careful." She smiled until she realized Bakugo was still standing there now staring at her with a blank expression.

Suddenly he places his hand on top of her head allowing her to stare at him for a few seconds before he roughly tousled her hair making her yelp out. "Hey!"

"Later round-face." he smirked running to catch up with the two.

"Alright that'll be all for today." Mr. Aizawa tiredly closed his book the next day feeling as many of his student already felt in barely keeping his eyes open. "And don't forget your trip to I-Island is coming up so make sure you are all thoroughly prepared."

"I-Island?!" they all shouted excitedly lifting their hands.

"That's the trip we've heard about?!" Kaminari grinned.

Eagerly lifting her hand Mina started to bounce at the edge of her seat. "How much can we bring?"

Rubbing his eyes, Mr. Aizawa groaned. "Ashido we've talked ab…you know what…" He gave her a small smile with a glint in his eyes. "Feel free to bring whatever you want as long as you're willing to carry it yourselves, and that goes for the rest of you too." He said already making his way out of the classroom, yellow sleeping bag in hand.

"Wait Seriously?!" Mina and Hagakure squealed.

"Please don't go overboard." Kirishima tiredly sighs already knowing he'd end up carrying them all.

"I won't don't worry." Mina winked.

"So how about it man you excited?"

"Why would I? It'll be just a weeklong waste of time." Bakugo scoffed sitting on top of his desk already receiving a glare from the class rep across the room before he lifted his middle finger waving it around for Iida to see.

"Remember we had a blast on I-Island last time!" Kaminari lifted his hands.

"Oh, you mean the time when those fuckin wannabe villains attacked that fancy party and we had to fight our way out?" Bakugo flatly stated.

"Well yeah that too…" Kaminari awkwardly said. "But I bet it'll better this time!"

Across the room Uraraka was shoving her notebooks and books in her bag while excitedly talking to Deku and Tsu about their upcoming trip. "You guys this is so exciting!"

"I know what you mean!" Deku grinned frantically looking through his notebooks. "I can't wait to see all the new stuff and merchandise they have there!"

"Iida are you alright?" Tsu asked, blinking up at him while he thoughtfully rubbed his chin.

"I believe Bakugo is trying to communicate through some kind of hand gesture."

"Huh?" Turning his head Deku shared an amused look with the two girls while the class rep happily waved back at the confused blond.

"A-anyways." Deku shook his head. "I bet the rest of the class is pretty excited as well and we get to see David Shield and Melissa." He quietly said with a small blush.

"You betcha!" Uraraka shouted pumping her fist in the air. "Class trip here we come!"

"Yeah, that's the spirit!" Kirishima grinned over his shoulder watching as Kaminari and Mina started dancing around the classroom with Uraraka.

"Well at least they're happy." Deku chuckled.

When most of the class was gone and headed to the dorms, Uraraka started her regular routine of cleaning the classroom.

"Oh, sorry Uraraka we didn't mean to be in the way, do you need any help?" Kirishima asked jumping to his feet.

"No silly I'm fine." She smiled wiping down one of the desks. "Shouldn't take me long anyway.

"Are you sure? We don't mind." Sero said, receiving the same answer. "Alright let us know if you do." he said, grabbing his bag.

Humming to herself she continued working without realizing that the noises were long gone until she finally decided to look up and saw almost everyone had already left except the expressionless blond staring out the window. "You ok?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" he responded keeping his crimson eyes out the window, but his voice had no real bite to it as if he was still deep in thought.

Giving a half shrug she silently resumed wiping down Shoji's desk next but caught him wiping his palms on his pants.

Furrowing his brows, he turned his body sideways. "You busy today?"

"Huh?" looking up from her task he suddenly got off his desk rummaging through the small storage closet there and pulling out a broom.

"You don't have to-"

"Answer my question." He said, working his way through the room.

"I-I mean after this I have an appointment with Ms. Yano."

"You still see her?"

Nodding she went to the closet to get the mob next and a fresh bucket while he was finishing up. "Yeah, from time to time. It's helped in a way." She smiled trying to cover up the flicker of sadness he saw there.

"Well…" he paused putting the broom back and helping her with the bucket. "If you're not busy after, why not train with me?"

Giggling, she walked past him to start mobbing. "Do you do anything else besides that?"

"Of course, I fuckin do." he rolled his eyes. "You should know I'm a delight to be around."

Pressing her lips together she tried to hide the small blush trying to make itself known and scolding herself for it even happening. 'Keep it together Ochaco, remember he's not interested.'

"It's just training." Giving her a lopsided smile as if he could hear her inward dilemma, he stepped in front of her tilting his head. "So how about it?"

Repeatedly opening and closing her mouth ready to decline, she snapped it shut once more before giving him a small smile. "Alright."

"Ok, good." He smirked with an excited gleam in his eyes and by reflex moved some of the hair from her face that made the fluttering in her stomach increase tenfold.

"Uraraka?" Ms. Yano knocked on the open door.

"Y-yes?" Uraraka stared wide eyed tilting her head to land on the therapist while Bakugo discreetly grabbed the mob from her hands to start mopping.

"I was wondering if it would be alright to start our appointment a little earlier today since I have another meeting to get to." Ms. Yano said keeping a curious gaze on Bakugo.

"Oh um..."

"It's alright." He said over his shoulder. "I'll finish up here. Just come find me when you're done."

"Thanks." She gave a shy smile before grabbing her back and following Ms. Yano out.

"Well, you two seem to be on good terms." Ms. Yano smiled unlocking her office door.

Playing with her finger pads Uraraka gave her a hesitant smile. "I guess…"

"Well, that's good to hear, just don't forget what I told you before." She gestured to the chair across from her as she sat down. "As long as it doesn't interfere with all the progress you've made and of course schoolwork." Sensing her uneasiness Ms. Yano gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "I'm just saying that with everything you've had to go through… that something like a high school romance shouldn't be your first priority. Remember what I said last year?"

"Y-yes that I should focus on myself first and foremost." Uraraka nodded.

"And you have." She smiled, opening her folder. "And I'm proud of you. But you've just now managed to work through what happened with you father, so rushing into something right now is not something I'd recommend."

Nodding Uraraka started fidgeting in her seat. "You don't have to worry. Bakugo and I are just friends."

"Of course." Placing her hands on top of the folder, Ms. Yano smiled knowingly at her. "Go ahead Uraraka, remember you can tell me anything."

"W-well I was just wondering…that if I was interested in someone romantically…you don't think it would be a good idea?"

"I didn't say that. If you're interested in someone then that's completely up to you. I'm not your parent I'm your friend." She gave her a warm smile. "I just wouldn't think right now would be the right time that's all." Nodding in understanding Ms. Yano let out a deep breath. "You're asking me because of that boy in your class Katsuki Bakugo, was it?" watching Uraraka avert her eyes she hummed. "Interesting…"

"Why?" she asked sitting up.

"Nothing I'm just surprised that someone that went through everything he did, hasn't come to see me and that kind of stuff can have traumatic impact on someone's life." Ms. Yano gave her a worried look before shaking her head. "But enough about that we're here for you, so tell me how's school?"

As the next few days flew by, she trudged up the stairs of Heights Alliance yawning as she was greeted by her friends in the common room before she took the elevator up to the fourth floor and quickly changed into a pair of black workout shorts and lose purple tank top heading down the hall when another yawn escaped her.

It's already been a few days since they've been back to training together again and slowly things started getting back to normal -well as normal as things could go between them since everyday that went by, she could still feel her feelings for him growing more and more just as it had before.

Shaking her head to remove those thoughts she quickly knocked on his door waiting patiently and nervously since she was running a bit behind today. When the door swung open, she was greeted by a scowling Bakugo who quickly removed his glasses. "You're late."

"Sorry." she sheepishly said letting her eyes run up and down his black tank top and black sweatpants swiftly snapping her eyes up and in her panic of hoping he didn't catch that missed him doing the same.

Grunting he left the door open motioning for her to follow which caught her completely off guard since the last time she was in here was with Jirou.

Squaring her shoulders, she swiftly steps inside trying not to inhale too deeply at the familiar caramel smell surrounding her mixed with fresh laundry detergent.

"I didn't mean to interrupt." she quickly said, realizing that he had been in the middle of doing homework.

"It's fine." Rubbing his tired eyes, he peeked over at her again, quickly clearing his throat and heading for the bathroom to wake himself up. "I'll just be a minute." he said, keeping the bathroom door slightly ajar.

Hearing the sink running Uraraka nervously bit her lower lip debating whether she should or shouldn't check on the experiment her and Mina thought out- well mostly Mina. 'Come on Ochaco you can do it! It's just a quick peek, that's all!'

Trying to pump herself up she started flexing her shaky hands, keeping her eyes on the bathroom door. Pressing her lips together she snatched open the drawer nervously, watching the door again.

'Come on it's now or never.' Exhaling deeply, she quickly pulled out the box feeling all the color suddenly drain from her face the moment she did so, carefully lifting the black box closer to her face.

Turning off the light in the bathroom he stretched his arms above his head. "Ready?"

"EEP!"

Frowning he saw her fumble with something before clumsy dropping it. "Y-you know I actually just remembered t-there's this thing I forgot to d-do today."

"Hah?" Furrowing his brows clearly confused he quickly saw her make a beeline for the door following close behind. "We're supposed to be training."

"It's fine." She forced a weak smile. "I'll see you later!"

"Wait a damn minute." He placed his palm flat against the door which made her shift uncomfortably. "What's going-" cutting himself off he turned his attention to the floor by his nightstand his eyes dropping to the small box before swiftly walking over to pick it up.

"I-I should go." And without another word she darted out the door firmly closing it behind her.

Dragging his eyes between her and the box, he felt his eyes grow in size. "Shit!"

Speeding down the hall she tried to force herself not to run. She would not run, even after hearing him sprint out of his room and run after her she would not run.

"Uraraka hang on!"

"It's fine."

"No it's not!" he said jumping in front of her. "Just listen to me-"

"I already said it was fine." She said feeling as though all the air had been knocked out of her stomach and she desperately tried to breath it back in, but she wouldn't show it…she couldn't. "It's really none of my business what you do Bakugo."

"You're wrong!" Closing his eyes, he pulled on his hair completely shocked that something like this could even happen to him! Him of all people and now he realized any doubt he had left about the universe not wanting to constantly screw him over just flew out the damn window.

"Excuse me." she quietly said, sidestepping him and heading for her door.

"Uraraka wait just hear me out! Please!"

"Are they yours?" she asked with an eerily calm tone and without an ounce of emotion on her face.

"Y-yes-" he reluctantly admitted watching her nod with tears collecting in her eyes right as he was met with the door slammed in his face. "No Uraraka!"

Slamming his palm on the door he franticly staring knocking. "Come on open the door…" he was so close to tearing down the door just so she could give him a second to explain what happened before she shut him out completely. "Uraraka, just please up open." Placing his forehead against the door he waited for a minute with not a single respond.

Slowly turning he slid down to the floor softly thumping the back of his head against the door. He wasn't one to beg, he knew his pride wouldn't let him but at this moment he couldn't care less and was willing to do anything as long as he didn't lose her again or the little progress he thought they were making, just the thought of it made his chest hurt. "Uraraka…"

Pressing her knees to her chest she put her head down against the pillow quietly letting all the tears stream down her face and ignoring everything else. It was hard to think that maybe she thought she deserved it…'Was this what he must've felt like when Todoroki kissed me? What else did I expect? I was so naïve to think that someone like that was serious about me in the first place…'

The tears seemed never ending and by the time she started drifting off to sleep she could still hear the faint sounds of his knocks and calling out for her.

In the morning as she was brushing down her hair, she took a shaky breath in determined to get through the day as though it didn't affect her in the slightest which she knew was easier said than done especially since she knew that on the inside she was a wreck and still felt disappointed. 'Guess it was better finding out now than later, right?' she bitterly thought as her eyes started to feel that familiar burning sensation, quickly shaking it off after finally making sure her eyes weren't as puffy, she checked her phone and could see various different messages.

Bakugo: Hey can we talk?

Bakugo: I know you must be fuckin pissed right now, but at least let me explain.

Bakugo: I can sit here all night if I have to.

Mina: Hey babe, you up yet?

Refusing to check any of the other messages she quickly picked up her pink backpack and floated herself out of her balcony she knew it wasn't the most mature way to handle things, but at the moment she just wanted to get to class and not deal with anything else which to her dismay is why she found herself in the girls bathroom trying to currently comfort a sobbing Hagakure along with Mina and Jirou.

"I still can't believe I did that!" Hagakure continued to cry.

"It'll be alright don't worry." Uraraka gently smiled, handing her another tissue, and finding it hard to comfort someone when she felt like the last person to do so right now. But if her friend needed her then she would try her best. Besides she was sure Hagakures situation was fixable.

"How?" Hagakure sobbed snatching the tissue. "I tried to apologize to Ojiro over what happened and next thing I know… I blurt out my feelings for him while he just stood there staring at me like he didn't even believe me!"

"Shh it's alright Hagakure, we've all been there so just -go ahead and let it all out girl." Mina smiled patting her shoulder. "No judgment here."

"Yeah, that's what we're here for. "Jirou said as Hagakure lunged herself onto her shoulder contorting her face weeping like an out of tune orchestra. "Um…"

"Ok Hagakure bring it back in-just reel it back in a smidge hon…" Mina sheepishly grinned rubbing her hand up and down her back in a comforting way.

"I mean… couldn't he see how genuine I was being?" Hagakure hiccuped waving her sleeve around her face.

Sharing looks they started to somehow decide telepathically who would tell her.

"I got it." Mina nodded facing her. "It's because…how do I say this…? "She thought out loud without wanting to hurt her feelings and say this in the nicest way possible until like a light bulb turned on. "It's because he can't see you."

"What?" Hagakure sputtered before the tears started back up.

"Mina!" Uraraka scolded.

"What?" she shrugged. "It's true."

"You're probably right." Hagakure sniffed. "Maybe he doesn't see me the same way I do."

"Um…" Uraraka began.

"No sweety, it's because he can't see you." Mina gave her a warm smile.

"Huh?" Hagakure silently looked between them until they all busted out laughing. "Gotcha…"

"Just talk to him again knowing him he was probably surprised and didn't know if you were joking or what." Mina grinned.

"Oh wow…" Jirou smiled rubbing the tear from her eyes. "I really needed that."

"That reminds me how are you doing?" Hagakure asked looking over at Jirou.

"I'm dealing." Jirou nodded in reassurance. "I'm still finding it hard to make eye contact with him but other than that…"

"And he hasn't mentioned it?" Mina frowned reminding herself to give Kaminari a big smack in the head maybe that'll get his brain working again- like you do with some appliances.

Shaking her head Jirou nervously started playing with her earphones. "And I'm fine if he doesn't."

"Uh-huh." Mina gave her a doubtful look. "I think I know what we all need this weekend…"

X

Grumbly walking down the hall with his hands deep in his pockets Bakugo was vaguely listening to what Kaminari was saying until he had apparently asked him a question.

"Dude you're not even listening to me!"

"Course I wasn't. Me pretending to listen should fuckin be enough for you."

"You know sometimes you're just plain mean!" Kaminari pouted, making Bakugo smirk until he saw a familiar head of brown hair happily chatting with Raccoon eyes further down the hall.

Having waited almost all night outside her door hoping to talk to her, he kept thinking about going to her balcony but decided against it, but now that he saw her here, he would do whatever he could to try and get her to listen, knowing how stubborn she could be.

"Oi Round-face!" he shouted knowing that she along with every student there must've heard him when her shoulders stiffened, and her pace quickened. "I know you hear me!"

"Dude I think everyone hears you." Kaminari pointed out.

Curiously turning her gaze back and forth Mina quickened her pace along with Uraraka wondering what on earth was going on since her friend wasn't even acknowledging him today, which of course she found amusing.

"So, what's going on Ochaco?"

"We're ignoring him." Uraraka simply stated not easing up on her pace.

"Got it." Mina grinned before shouting over her shoulder. "We're ignoring you!" turning back to her Mina lowered her voice. "Why are we ignoring him again?"

"Because I saw the box."

"What box?" Mina frowned. "Wait, you mean the condom box?"

Nodding Uraraka gave her a look that Mina could only describe as pissed. "Yup and it was opened."

Widening her eyes, Mina stumbled in her steps before balancing herself again. "Wait you don't think…?"

"There were some missing too."

"Noooo…" Mina gasped.

"Yeah…"

Whirling around Mina stopped following her and angerly started marching down the hall. "Katsuki Eugene Bakugo!"

"The fuck? That's not my name!" he shouted just as Mina angrily pointed a finger at him.

"I know I just made that up!"

"Out of my way." he firmly said before they saw a familiar turf of red hair exiting one of the classrooms, happily waving at them until he saw the furious look on Bakugos face quickly making a 180 in the other direction. "YOU!"

"EH?!" Kirishima shakily looked over his shoulder when Bakugo yanked him back. "Whatever it is I didn't do it! I think…"

"IT WAS THIS DUMBAS!" Bakugo frantically pointing at an offended Kirishima.

"Hey!"

Already feeling himself shake in anger Bakugo pointed to where Uraraka was turning a corner. "I swear on everything Kirishima if you don't fuckin tell her the truth-"

"Woah tell her what?" Kirishima lifted his hands up at the three staring at him.

"The condom box you fuckin moron! She thinks that I…" he said running a frustrated hand through his hair.

"Uh-oh this looks bad…"

"YOU THINK?!" Bakugo shouted slamming his hands on one of the nearby lockers.

"Hang on." Mina frowned. "So, you took them?!"

Feeling himself blush Kirishima rubbed his neck. "Yeah…"

"Eijiro Robert Kirishima, I cannot believe you! Why would you do that-and do you still have them?!" she shouted when he sheepishly nodded avoiding his gaze from Bakugo and Kirishima.

Quickly grabbing him by the arm Mina dragged a grinning Kirishima away.

"You're fuckin crazy!" Bakugo shouted over to them.

"Nah-uh the voices in my head say otherwise." Mina proudly shouted back tapping her head.

"I'm not even going to dignify that with a damn respond." Bakugo slowly blinked at her right as the two disappeared from his sight.

"Well good for him." Kaminari snickered receive a smack on the back of his head by the fiery boy next to him.
