Throughout the next few days Bakugo tried anything and everything to get her to talk to him even if for a minute but it seemed she was determined to keep her distance and avoid him at all costs.
So, when he found himself laying on his bed checking his phone again with no new messages other than their usual circle of friends, he frustratingly tossed it aside remembering when he last tried to talk to her a few hours ago.
All Might had them run laps around the tracks and after a while he smoothly made his way over to run next to her as she continued to keep her eyes forward.
"Can we talk now?'
"About what?" she casually said as her hair bounced around in her ponytail with Shinso next to her.
"You damn well know about what cheeks."
Raising a curious brow at the two, Shinso slowly started moving to the next lane to somewhat give them some privacy but abruptly stopped when he felt her grab onto the hem of his shirt keeping him in place. 'Well, this is awkward…' He was about to say something but gulped at the look she shot him letting him know that if he left her that he'll regret it later. 'Alright so apparently I'm staying.'
Not one to miss the exchange Bakugo couldn't care less at the moment. "Look I've been trying to get you to talk to me for the last few days so you can understand that this had nothing to do with what you're thinking-"
"I'm not thinking anything."
"Yes, you are! You're thinking that I've been doing some shady ass shit when I haven't." he said trying to catch her gaze which she still refused.
"I already said that's none of my business."
Trying to swallow down the bitter taste of what she said again. He exhaled slowly. "Look Uraraka I'm trying to explain-"
"Nothing to explain." She coldly said remembering when she tried doing the same, but he wouldn't listen.
Keeping his eyes on her he slowly nodded. "I guess I deserve that. And I was an asshole when I didn't let you explain before… but I'm hoping that you at least here me out."
"You know what, I think I'm just going to…" Shino pointed forwards.
"No, you're fine." She spoke with an authoritative tone.
"I guess I am." Shinso whistled swiftly looking away and thankful that he wasn;t on the other end of her wrath.
"Listen I don't care if eye bags hears-"
"Still not listening." Shinso mumbled to himself until he addressed the blond. "Although may I say good job on pissing her off by the way -whatever you did."
"I didn't do shit!"
Huffing, Uraraka started speeding up with both boys slowing their pace until they came to a complete stop. "Looks like you did." Shinso said placing his hands on his hip to take a breather.
Placing his hands on top of his head Bakugo took a deep breath as she sprinted off.
"Young Shinso, Young Bakugo we're not done yet!" All Might shouted from afar reminding him to keep going.
End of flashback…
"You know, the easier way would be to just talk to her." Kirishima said staring at the game in front of him with his tongue sticking out in concentration.
"Believe me I've fuckin tried." He said placing his arm over his eyes. "And you weren't any damn help either dumbass."
"How so?"
"Well for starters this is all your damn fault! If you kept your fuckin shit in your pants none of this would be happening and she wouldn't have gotten the wrong idea!"
"Well yeah there's that I guess…" Kirishima cringed before turning around to give him his undivided attention. "I did try and talk to her, but she seems to always be busy -wait you don't think she's avoiding you on purpose, right?"
"I know she is."
"Ok well how about now?" Placing the controller on Bakugos desk Kirishima headed for the door.
"Tch, I'm not going down there with all those damn extras."
"Why not it'll be fun! I heard that class B was going to be down there and some of our friends from The Red Beryl too."
"Exactly. So, no way in hell am I going to spend the night before the trip socializing with a bunch of idiots."
"Not even for Uraraka?" Kirishima slowly grinned when he saw Bakugo briefly hesitate before the blond threw him a glare.
"Did I ever tell you what a ray of sunshine you are?" Kirishima flatly said eyeing Bakugos who tiredly gestured for the door.
"Fine." He grumbled feeling his eye twitch the minute he saw Kirishima snatch his phone and make whipping noises. "YOU THINK YOU'RE SO FUNNY?!"
"Well, I guess they're at it again." Deku awkwardly laughed with an apologetic smile at the explosions and loud noises coming from the stairway.
"Is it always this lively around here?" Riku asked.
"You get used to it." Shinso grinned receiving an amused nod from Uraraka.
"By the way I've been meaning to thank you for coming here tonight. I know it's probably hard with work and all."
"It's fine." Riku grinned. "To tell you the truth I don't even remember the last time I had a day off, and I know Ayaka's taking good care of the place. I'm even more surprised your teacher's let you guys have people over."
"Erm yeah...it was more Minas idea." Uraraka sheepishly rubbed the back of her head, scanning the room with various people talking in the common area and in the kitchen where Inasa and Camie looked to be playing card games with Kaminari and Sero while other people like Mina were busy playing video games on the giant TV.
"Hey Ochaco!"
"Speaking of Mina." She grinned watching the pink girl energetically wave her over to the small 'stage' they had made for their gaming. "I guess I'm needed."
Grinning the moment she walked over; Mina immediately pulled her down to where the other girls were. "Let's play!"
"Really?" Jirou groaned already knowing what they were going to pick.
"Yeah, it'll be fun." Hagakure said waving around a small case. "Think of it like a Karaoke/Dance off!"
"You're gonna pick that game, really?" Mineta scoffed sitting on the couch.
"Yes!" Mina jumped. "It's my favorite and you should join us Mineta."
Pouting the small boy looked away still mad about what he thought was a moment of weakness while they were under the quirk -and yet the girls still had the nerve to constantly bring it up insinuating that he had miraculously matured from the girl hungry boy he once was, which might have been true, but they didn't need to rub it in every chance they had.
"Please!" They all pleaded.
"Fine since I know you guys can't do this without me."
"Give me back my damn phone dipshit!" Bakugo snarled taking back what was his when they ran out of the stairs. "And quite doing that!"
"It got you here, didn't it? We that and…" Kirishima gave a smug smile ignoring the dirty looks his best friend gave him. "And hey, look everyone's here."
"No shit."
"Looks like they're having fun." He nodded towards the tv.
"What's short stacks doing?" Bakugo frowned crossing his arms as curiosity got the better of him when he saw the microphone in Minetas hand along with purple sunglasses.
"Not sure." Kirishima chuckled.
"Alright ladies and Mineta let's do this!" Mina shouted just as the game started.
(Just dance: "Cheap Thrills")
When the song started the girls followed along to the instructions as the rest of the room slowly made their way to get a better look at what was going on, clapping when they saw Mineta walk up to the middle of the small 'stage' and singing when it was his turn while the girls continued with their movements behind him as if they had already done this multiply times until the song finally came to an end.
"Woah that was pretty good." Sato gave them all a thumbs up as the girls clamored around the small boy giving him small playful hugs as he continued to pout but they could see a hint of a smile knowing that he enjoyed himself too.
"Man, that was fun!" Mina punched the air. "Alright who's next?"
Shaking his head as his girlfriend made eye contact with him Kirishima grinned. "No way."
Giggling Uraraka made a straight line to the kitchen where she observed a small game with Inasa trying to teach Kaminari the rules of how to play. Pouring herself a drink from the table she curiously watched until she heard someone shout from behind her at something Mina was saying.
"You're gonna fuckin eat your words Pinky! We go through the same shit everytime!" Turning, Bakugo saw Urarakas back stiffen. "Hey."
"Hello." She swiftly turned, pressing her lips together intending to go back to the common area. She moved to the right to pass him just as he moved to the left, making her move to the left and him to his right. Letting out a slow calm breath she gave him a fake smile. "May I help you?"
"Yup." He shrugged, which was when she realized he had his hands in his pockets until he pointed between them. "We still got shit to talk about."
"Actually, no we don't." she said trying to sidestep him again with no luck making her let out an annoyed huff. "Bakugo-"
"How about a wager then?" He tapped his index finger to her small nose making her scrunch it in the process. "If I win…" he pointed to where Tsu and Iida were attempting their turn at the game. "Then at least give me five minutes."
Puffing out her cheeks she stared at him unamused, crossing her arms. "I don't have to play."
"No, you don't." He nodded in agreement, turning to patiently stand next to her as she watched her friends' dance. He tried his hardest not to smile but felt his lip twitch anyways knowing that even though he was known to be very competitive to a point where it was downright scary to some people…she was too. Which was another one of the reasons he liked her so much.
"And…if I win?" she suddenly asked after a minute, not removing her gaze.
Peering down at her he hesitated for a moment before answering. "Then you tell me what you want."
Contemplating the wager, she knew without looking that he was studying her to figure out what she was thinking. She wasn't dumb, she knew she could easily decline, and she knew that he was already well aware of what her answer would be from the beginning. But if she was able to beat him in some way or another then she'd gladly take it.
"Fine." she stubbornly lifted her chin taking a sip from her cup and walking off.
Smirking, he let his eyes follow her before turning towards the table to pour his own drink. He and Kirishima were up next since Raccoon eyes forced his poor excuse of a best friend to play dragging him along with him.
"Hey Bakugo, feel like joining the game?" Sero asked carefully eyeing the stack of cards on the table.
"No, about to wipe the floor with everyone out there with this stupid dancing game."
"It's really fun. Have you played?" Camie asked standing next to him.
"Tch, of course I have moron." He eyeing the various drinks to pick from until she handed him a cup.
"Try it man, you might like it." Sero said shuffling the cards with his back towards him.
"Hell no." Giving them dubious looks he sniffed it. "What the fuck is this shit?"
"Woah Bakubabe one might think you don't trust me." Camie cooed lifting her own cup to drink.
"Course I don't dumbass and don't call me that!" He rolled his eyes placing the cup down she handed him and pouring himself a different one before chucking it down, missing the sly smile she threw his way.
Applauding Tsu's and Iida's performance, Mina motioned for the two boys to come up next. "Alright boys what'll it be?"
Scowling Bakugo snatched the controller out of her hand quickly going through the available options until he found one that he didn't mind too much. "Alright Shitty hair you better get your shit right."
Giving him a thumbs up Kirishima grinned in approval at the option he picked.
(Just dance: "Believer")
Once the song started Bakugo and Kirishima both looked as if they had no problem following along making everyone wonder if they weren't the only ones practicing.
Giving a wicked smile that would make the red head nervous, Mina kept her eyes on their performance. Watching every step, jump, stomp and flexing they did as the little star on the screen kept dinging and lighting up, making her fan her face. "Oh boy is it hot in here or is it just me?"
Shaking her head in disapproval Yaoyorozu covered her mouth. "I believe it's just you Mina."
"Really?" Mina lifted puzzled eyebrow. "You guys are really telling me that they don't look hot as heck right now?!" she said keeping that same smile the whole time until the songs finally finished.
Smirking Bakugo motioned for her to get up while Uraraka quickly blinked back to reality as if just now realizing the song had ended. She grabbed Mina by the arm making the pink girl let herself be pulled along. "What's up? Are we playing against them?" Mina grinned before her eyes widened at the death stare Uraraka had on.
"We're going to crush them."
"That's my girl!"
"Alright pick." Bakugo smugly crossed his arms waiting for them to choose something.
"Best 2 out of 3?"
"Works for me." He shrugged as the two of them followed the girls.
(Just Dance: "Lean on")
When the dancing started, he was a bit caught off guard, but it was just at the beginning. He was determined to win at all costs. Come to find out he didn't really mind the dance and found it rather easy to find the pattern to what they had to do, smirking every so often when he would see the stars starting to add up.
"Oh yeah boy! And that's how you do it!" Mina stuck her tongue out happily skipping away with a giggling Uraraka in tow once the song finished.
"That shit was weak." He scowled at Kirishima.
"Hey now don't look at me!" the red head pouted as he followed his angry friend to the kitchen to take a break while Hagakure and Jirou took the stage next.
"You guys finished?" Sero asked looking over at them.
Shaking his head Bakugo grabbed one of the cups quickly, downing it. "Not even close."
"Well in the meantime care to join us." Inasa grinned pulling up a couple of chairs for them to sit on.
"Yeah, we got some time to kill." Kirishima said.
X
"Man, that was fun." Mina plopped herself on the couch letting her eyes scan the room.
"It was." Uraraka agreed pulling up a chair and sitting down with Deku next to her. "You guys should try it."
"Maybe next time." Riku chuckled watching the two who were currently performing. "But you guys take these things serious huh?"
"It's what we do." Mina laughed before furrowing her brows at what she saw in front of her and hoping Uraraka wasn't as observant as she was at the moment but from what she could tell by the look on her friend's face she had already seen it.
Uraraka forced herself to smile and nod along with the conversation happening in front of her, but her eyes just wouldn't stop stealing little glances in the direction of the kitchen where the guys were playing some weird card game with Camie constantly trying to lean in closer to Bakugo which he would either move away or shout something back at her.
Biting her lip, she averted her eyes once more scolding herself for even worrying about what he was doing. Like she constantly told herself he wasn't seeing her so there was no reason for him to try and hold back right. She already had the proof that he had clearly moved on a while ago while here she was like a dummy thinking that he had still cared about her the whole time when he clearly didn't.
What she couldn't wrap her head around was why he was even still trying to talk to her. He could have any of one those girls that would always stare at him even Camie. And from the talks she would hear passing in the halls Camie was quite popular amongst the male population in school.
And it's not like she hated her, she was actually a pretty nice person whenever they had the chance to hang out.
'The best think would be for me to try and get over him too right…?' she thought knowing that it was easier said than done.
"Ochaco did you hear me?"
"Huh?" Snapping her attention out of her thoughts Uraraka saw Mina already on her feet waiting for her with a concerned expression on her face.
"It's our turn. Let's hurry up and pick something."
"Oh right." Uraraka followed her to the tv ignoring when she felt Kirishima and Bakugo walk up behind them.
"Prepare to lose again and have all your dreams die with it." Mina turned to glare at them with a dark aura surrounding her.
"Well that just got dark really quick." Sero walked up to them with an overly chipper smile.
"Love you too babe." Kirishima playfully winked.
"Just pick already." Bakugo pinched the bridge of his nose feeling somewhat lightheaded now.
"Got it." Mina laced her arm with Urarakas as they prepared for the screen to change.
(Just Dance "Time of my life")
"Really?" Bakugo shook his head fastening his grip on the controller once the song started making sure to take the win this time.
"Hey hey hey hey!" Mina pumped herself up while dancing her part. "Get it boy!"
"Hey I kinda like this." Kirishima gave a toothy grin once it was his turn to dance.
X
"Man what a bummer…" Mina whined again dragging her hand over her face. Sure Uraraka was sad about losing the last match too, but they still had one more to go and she was going to do everything she could to win this one. No way was she losing again.
"U-um Uraraka you have your s-scary face on again." Deku stuttered shivering for whoever that was directed at. "That wouldn't have anything to do with Kacchan right?" Deku looked over at the blond in question as Bakugo headed their way sneezing.
"Course not." she stubbornly said, crossing her arms and looking at the opposite direction as he approached.
"Alright, last one." He lifted his hand for her to lead the way to the game. "Remember our wager."
"Wager?" Deku bounced his eyes between the two.
Puffing her cheeks out, Uraraka met his gaze. "Course I do and I'm going to win too."
Snickering he gave her an amused smirk. "Oh yeah? That's a lot of talk round-face. But you know what…let's make it more interesting then." He said leaning his elbow on Dekus shoulder to help balance himself and ignoring Dekus frantic stare.
"Huh?"
"This idiot is doing it too and he'll be on my team, and I'd still beat you." He said with a cocky grin just as Deku stared widened eyed at him.
"Hey!"
"It's alright Deku you don't have to." She smiled reassuringly.
"No, it's fine. Just not a great dancer…" He said following her. "Just hope I can keep up-"
"Oh, you will keep up." Bakugos eyed him menacingly making the green haired boy gulp.
(Just Dance: "China")
"Alright ready?" Bakugo asked rolling his shoulders and getting a nod in confirmation as they started picking their dancers and rolled his eyes while the two started arguing about who would be the damn bear. "Just hurry up and pick before my head explodes!"
"Fine." She stuck her tongue out. "Deku you be the bear."
"Are you sure?"
"Let's go already!" Bakugo started hyping himself up and made sure to follow the instructions precisely as they were shown once the song started, hearing Deku laughing every so often. "Shut it Deku and keep up!"
"I'm trying!" Deku felt tears of joy in his eyes from laughing at how much fun he was actually having with two of his closest friends.
Bakugo found himself worried about how well she was doing but then again, he was pretty impressed about it too.
Once it was time for her solo dance, he found himself smirking at how hot she looked without meaning to since he was pretty sure she was still pissed at him.
Luckily Bakugos competitive nature was something not easily swayed by her devious charms so after reluctantly dragging his eyes away he could still hear Deku chuckling next to him at the fact that he looked like a dancing bear.
"Alright!" Mina clapped once the song was finally over but out of all three it was only Deku who was still grinning as he left the two annoyed participants behind.
"That was fun! Who's next?" Deku eagerly asked as Hagakure and Ojiro lifted their hands.
Making a bee line to the kitchen to get some water, Uraraka couldn't have felt more let down. It's not like she honestly lost but to tie is almost the same thing. Usually, she would just shrug it off and call it a day since it was just a fun game, but since Mr. explody decided to make it a competition as always, she just felt irritated at the moment.
"So…"
Pressing her lips together, she didn't bother to turn around, afraid that if she did, she would float him to the ceiling and keep him there all night hearing the smug tone of his voice.
"Since neither of lost-"
"Or won." She finished satisfied at the low growl she heard. "Another match?"
"Can't." he shook his head leaning against the table disappointment clear in his tone. "The idiots already called dips for a while."
"Sucks to be you then, since I know you hate losing and all." She gave a lopsided smirk intending to leave until he grabbed her elbow.
"Uraraka…" his tone was low and reserved keeping his crimson eyes on hers. "How about we both win, and you still get what you want but at least give me my five minutes…"
Opening her mouth, she shook her head but found herself unsure of what to say next at the disappointed look on his eyes. "I don't-"
"Hey Ochaco, Riku is getting ready to leave." Tsu said walking up to them with Riku in tow.
"Oh?"
"Yeah, I promised Ayanka and everyone I'd be back." He shrugged, placing his hands in his pockets, and tilting his head towards the door.
"Oh right, I'll walk you out." Uraraka gave Riku a small smile which he returned following her out.
Narrowing his eyes into slits Bakugo didn't realize Tsu was still standing there until she spoke. "You seem upset. Is everything alright?"
"Tch. Fuckin peachy frog face." He grumbled, turning his attention to the table, and trying to distract himself.
"I wouldn't drink that if I were you." She eyed the cup he picked. "Seems like someone's been going around adding alcohol to some of them."
"Hah?" he said lifting an eyebrow and throwing the cup out.
"Yeah, I've been throwing them out too, but I wouldn't trust it." She spoke. "Unless you're ok with that."
"The fuck I am." He said opening a new bottle and taking a sniff before pouring himself one and handing her a cup too.
"Thanks."
"Yeah." He mumbled ignoring the grateful smile on Tsu's face as he placed the cup down behind him after taking a sip.
"Hey guys! Having fun?" Camie asked walking to stand next to him. "Thanks again for inviting me."
"I didn't invite you." He snapped making Tsu hide her smile behind her cup.
"It's fine. We're glad you guys could make it. Ribbit."
"Aww you're too sweet Tsu." Camie grinned, making the green haired girl tilt her head with a small frown. "Anyways Iida was looking for you."
"Really?" Turning her head Tsu tried to find him but couldn't see him anywhere.
"Well four eyes isn't here." Bakugo scanned the area turning back to pick up his drink.
"No, I think he's out-front saying bye to the hottie Riku along with Ochaco."
Scoffing Bakugo gulped down the drink quickly pouring himself another one faintly hearing Tsu excuse herself to head to the door.
He wasn't sure exactly how much time had gone by as he sat himself in one of the chairs around the table as his friends continued their card games repeatedly asking him to join which surprisingly to them, he declined, not in the mood nor having apparently the clear head to do so.
He wasn't sure exactly what was wrong with him just that he was having issues keeping the room steady.
"Hey Bakugo, you got a minute?"
"Hah?" Squinting his eyes, he saw Jirou staring down at him nervously twirling her earjacks. "What do you want ears?" he slumped down on a chair next to the beverage table as she did the same.
"I can't even believe I'm talking to you about this." she muttered.
"Gee thanks, glad to hear that." He said taking another bottle and trying to maneuver it into the cup without spilling.
"Hand me one." Jirou said, handing him her cup.
When he felt himself grabbing onto the edge of the table, Bakugo frowned down at the cup in his hand. "Oi do me a favor ears and taste this."
"Ok…" she skeptically said eyeing him and doing as he asked before humming. "Taste good to me."
"Hmm…" he said snatching it from her grasp, ignoring her protest and stumbling to the fridge to grab another unopened bottle. "Here take this instead just in case." He said handing it to her and pouring himself one before throwing the other one out.
After half an hour he found himself lazily leaning against the table listening to what Jirou rambling on.
"So, what do you think?"
"First…" he said lifting a finger. "Why the hell talk to me about this shit? Two…I really don't want to hear about you and fuckin Sparky over there." He pointed his thumb behind them.
"Dude don't point!" Jirou frantically moved his thumb away. "And yeah, usually I'd talk to Momo or Ochaco about this… but I don't know, I feel like I need a guy's perspective on this too."
Clicking his tongue Bakugo shook his head which turned out to be a bad idea after watching the room spin. "Again, why the hell come to me? I'm not exactly the best at this kind of thing…" he said more to himself.
"Believe it or not Bakugo, we all don't find you to be the worse person in the world and Uraraka and you seem to be good friends so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you."
"Right…" he gave a dry chuckle. "Listen ears, I have neither the patience nor the damn crayons to explain this shit to you, but if you like the dumbass so much then you need to tell him straight up because Pikachu is not going to know otherwise."
"Hmm…" she said deciding to think it over until she saw him trying to stand. "Hey dude you ok? I saw Kaminari doing the same thing."
"Yeah." He waved over his shoulder and headed to the elevator. "Just tell Shitty hair I'm going to bed since he likes to act like my damn parent."
When he had to hold onto the wall once he stepped out of the elevator, he scolded himself for letting his guard down and getting himself drunk until his feet hit a sleeping Kaminari laying flat on the floor. "Oi wake the hell up idiot." He slurred lightly kicking him.
"Why are you kicking me? I'm trying to sleep." Kaminari mumbled.
Dropping to his knees he helped a pouting Kaminari up. "How long have you been here?"
"Not long." he winced grabbing his head. "Just really need to hurl…"
"God damn it!" Bakugo growled having now even twice the challenge of maneuvering both of their sorry asses to his room in time with Kaminari laughed hysterically. "Move you damn feet!"
Once he kicked his door open Bakugo saw Kaminari grabbing his mouth before running to the bathroom and slamming it shut. "Just fucking great." He mumbled, throwing himself on his bed and shutting his eyes which turned out to be another big mistake when he felt himself getting even dizzier. "Shit…."
"At least you're no longer cranky."
"Hah?" Lazily opening his eyes, he saw a figure standing in the doorway until they slowly started walking inside, closing the door behind them. "Who the hell…?"
"To tell you the truth I've been really meaning to get you alone for a long time now."
"Uraraka?" Trying his hardest to clear his vision by repeatedly blinking and rubbing his eyes, he lifted himself by the elbows until Camie came into his vision.
"Surprise!"
"Hell no…" he said lifting himself up but felt his body heavy just as she started to lean closer.
"Why not?" she pouted.
Gritting his teeth, he dangerously narrowed his eyes. "I'm only going to say this once, Get. The. Hell. Off. NOW!" He said roughly pushing her off and onto to the ground.
"Always so stubborn." She said dusting herself off and getting to her feet.
"I already told your ass I'm not interested." Getting to his feet he quickly stumbled to the bathroom to check on Kaminari. "Now get the hell out of my room!" He shouted over his shoulder.
Crossing her arms, she was about to say something until she heard a faint knock on the door.
Shrugging her shoulders, Camie gave the bathroom door a sly smile making sure to ruffle her hair and undo her buttons on her shirt before answering the door.
"Oh, hey Uraraka!" Camie happily smiled. "What's up?"
"I…" Her heart suddenly stop as she let her eyes take in Camies flustered state as the girl gave her a sheepish smile in return trying to fix herself up. "I was looking for…"
"Oh." Camie said nodding towards the bathroom. "He's in there right now you know…cleaning up. Good thing you came now and not earlier."
Unable to control the tears from piling up in the corners of her eyes, Uraraka found herself at a loss of words, as though everything was crumbling down on her, and she didn't realize it was possible but felt as though her heart was being shredded into million pieces and then some.
"Are you ok?" Camie asked, tilting her head. "If you want, I can go get him."
"N-no! I just…" her throat suddenly felt tight as she repeatedly opened and closed it, swiftly turning on her heels and without another word walked off. Her mind was quickly connecting all the dots that she refused to see, realizing that some part of her didn't want to believe what had happened with the condom box.
That's why she was here to give him his five minutes. After asking Kirishima where he was, she made her way to the fourth floor determined to try and hear him out even if she felt like an idiot in doing so.
Giggling Camie closed the door and turned her head to see a frowning Kaminari standing by the door still somewhat wobbly. "Oops…"
"Are you still here?!" Bakugo growled walking out of the bathroom.
"Just on my way out."
"Eh my dude… I think you have bigger problems right now…" Kaminari gave him a serious look quickly getting the blonds attention or as much as he could since Bakugo was still having issues keeping his head up.
"What?"
"Oh by the way, someone came to say hi." Camie said, keeping her hand on the doorknob. "She was in a real hurry to leave…don't know why."
Raising an eyebrow Bakugo looked back at Kaminari who gave him all the information he needed with one look making his stomach clench. "Fuck…" trying to make it out the door turned out to be difficult after only making it a couple steps before he had to grab onto something. "I fuckin swear if you don't get the hell out by the time I come back, there's going to be hell to pay." He snarled, nostrils flaring watching Camies smile fade in fear as he ran out.
Hot tears coursed down her cheeks as she furiously wiped them away and breathless with anger. Suddenly her room felt too far away as she heard footsteps approach making her quicken her pace.
"Ura-"
"No."
"Could you just-"
"NO!" Yanking her arm free she turned to face him head on, her eyes blazing with anger and refusing to allow him the satisfaction of watching her weak. Not now, not again.
Taking a clumsy step back, he tried his best to keep steady on his feet. "I was in the bathroom-"
"Yeah, so I heard." she coldly said, hearing the obvious slur in his voice. "Looks like you've been having a great time."
"I haven't-"
"I'm sure." She sneered regretfully fighting back tears. "I can't even believe I was dumb enough to try and listen to you!"
"You're not ok!" he said trying to get closer but was apprehensive in doing so. "Nothing happened."
"Now I get it." She gave a weak laugh, her voice breaking. "Now I get why you were so adamant about everything even…kissing me…"
"That's not true-"
"The box…"
"Uraraka no." he said firmly grabbing her shoulders. "I already told you about why I haven't, and yeah, the box is mine, but you have to believe me when I say I haven't touched them. Just ask Kirishima!"
"No." she said refusing to believe anything anymore. "That doesn't change what I just saw! Or what you've been doing. Why couldn't you just tell me? Did you think I wouldn't figure it out?!"
"Hey, I haven't done anything! I don't know what that bitch told you, but I wouldn't do that! I wouldn't hurt you like…" he bit his tongue fighting back the urge to punch himself in the face.
"Like what?" she said firmly when he averted his eyes. "Like I did? Is that what you wanted to say? So, are you trying to get back at me?"
Being reminded of what happened he snapped his eyes back at her. "This has nothing to do with that. But yeah it did alright, I'm not gonna lie it hurt like hell but I'm trying to get past that."
"How? By sleeping with anything that walks?" she scoffed stomping away and feeling her tears freely fall. "I can't believe I was even dumb enough to fall for it."
"I didn't and haven't done anything with anyone but you." he said hot on her heels. "Just stop for a minute!" grabbing her hand he quickly stopped when her right hand came fully across his cheek hitting him with such force it felt like his eyes were about to pop out.
Rubbing the now sore area, he made sure his jaw was still intact, shock written all over his face as he continued to stare at her.
"You asked me what I wanted after the game…" she said eyes now glossy, her expression hard and cheeks flushing in anger. "I want you to leave me alone." Opening the stairway doors and slamming it hard behind her.
It took him a full 5 minutes to understand what fully happened allowing him to lift himself up still rubbing his sore cheek. Hearing the 'DING' from the elevator he quickly stumbled towards it hoping she was coming back but his hopes were smashed when he saw Kirishima instead, but not just Kirishima…. but Kirishima's unsettling pissed off face.
"What's with you?" Bakugo only managed to say until he saw a hard fist fly towards his face unable to catch it due to his intoxicated state. "OW! WHAT THE FUCK SHITTY HAIR?! DAMN!"
Rolling his eyes, Kirishima let out a deep breath extending his hand to help him up.
"What the hell was that for?!" Bakugo eyed his hand warily before accepting.
"You tell me." Kirishima said, crossing his arms. "I ran into Uraraka crying her eyes out down the stairs."
"Great…" Bakugo grumbled, any other time he would be furious with him, but Bakugo gave Kirishima a small nod understanding that the red head did care for her the way a brother would.
"Let's talk and walk, yeah?" Kirishima spoke over his shoulder already walking down the hall. "Deku and Todoroki were there too so I wouldn't run into them anytime soon. Thought I'd give you a heads up."
"Thanks." Bakugo sarcastically said slamming his bedroom door open startling Kaminari who was sitting on the ground leaning his head against the bed.
"Yo I've been wondering where you've been." Kirishima chuckled.
"And what happened to you?" Kaminari lifted his eyebrows at the red marks on Bakugos face. "No luck I'm guessing?"
"No." Bakugo rubbed his cheek. "Forgot how mean her slaps are. I swear this time it was between a slap and a punch…"
"So, a splunch?" Kaminari grinned hearing Kirishima snort.
"Clam it dunce face." Bakugo glared.
"Well maybe you just have a very slappable face." Kaminari offered hearing Kirishima chuckle.
"After tonight, remind me to kill you." When they heard a knock Bakugo groaned still feeling the room spinning and plopping himself face first on the bed.
"Um…not to add insult to injury but you've got company." Kaminari said peeking his head out the door and seeing two figures standing there.
"Hey guys." Kirishima grinned at an unamused Deku and Todoroki. "Listen um… Bakubro's not in any condition to talk right now." He said opening the door wider for them see for themselves when the blond swiftly stood up running to the bathroom. "See."
"How?" Deku asked concern edged in his tone.
"Not sure. Looks like maybe someone spiked their drinks."
"That's still no excuse." Todoroki's tone hardened.
"I know." Kirishima lifted his hands in surrender. "From what he said nothing happened. But I think tomorrow would be better time to talk yeah?"
Nodding Deku placed a hand on Todoroki's shoulder leading them away. "Let us know how he's doing."
Wiping his mouth clean, Bakugo snapped his eyes shut trying to keep the dizziness at pay and it suddenly occurred to him in the last functioning part of his brain that he was royally screwed.
