As nighttime fell upon the students of class 3-A they were all snuggled up spread around the common area watching a comedy movie Hagakure had picked out and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
It was half past nine already and they had yet to see the rest of some of their classmates come home from their work studies.
Yawning, she felt someone poke her shoulder.
"You should get some sleep. You have to get up early tomorrow, right for Hawks?" Iida said glancing between her and the tv.
Slouching her shoulders, she looked back at some of the others engrossed in the movie annoyed at the fact that Iida was probably right. She had tried her hardest to sit through the movie to spend some time with her friends but the feeling of not getting enough sleep started to hit her hard once she finally let herself relax.
"Yeah, you're probably right." She pouted, getting up as quietly as possible so not to disturb anyone, knowing that some had already passed out asleep in the common room too.
"We'll see you tomorrow Ochaco." Tsu waved. "Hope you sleep well."
By ten she lazily trudged out of her bathroom dressed in a pair of comfy grey sweatpants and lose pink shirt before plopping down on her mattress and turning on her small tv and lowering the volume.
Checking the time again she quickly set her alarm before pulling out the stacks of papers from her desk. "Alright Mr. Grumpy pants let's see what we have here…"
Scanning over the papers she couldn't keep the amusement from her face letting out a soft giggle every once in a while when her eyes caught some highlighted portions with little handwritten side notes such as 'We don't need that shit' or 'Pay attention to this!' or 'This is important!' or her favorite 'I know you'll skip this but you better not!'
Humming to herself she still marveled at how focused, and driven Bakugo still was…apparently in every aspect of his life. She knew that he meant well, and this just proved how determined he was to make this work. To make them work.
Jolting her head up at the uncharacteristic slow loud banging on her door she frowned realizing that she had fallen asleep. When she finally opened the door, she came face to face with the tired red eyes of a still scowling Bakugo. "Ochaco."
"Katsuki." She mimicked his voice, hearing him huff before he let himself in and closed the door behind him. Shooting his arm out and grabbing her shoulder he made a bee line for her bed slumping face first into the mattress.
Startled she turned her head sideways with her back against the bed and was unable to see his face since it was still buried into her comforter and could only see his wild ash blond hair. Realizing this she let her eyes take him in noticing that he must have just showered and changed into a pair of black sweats and white tank top showing off his very nice arms… 'and how the heck does he do that? How can he make a simple outfit like that look that good!'
It was no surprise that other than his eyes one of the things that always caught her attention from day one were his arms. Although they were much bigger and ripped than during their first year. Gulping down hard she felt her cheeks flush even more when he suddenly lifted his left arm lazily draping it over her stomach and pulling her towards him.
"I…st…you…"
"Eh?" Blinking in confusion at his muffled voice, she saw him reluctantly lift his head trying to muster up another tired scowl.
"I said I'm still mad at you."
Dropping her mouth open she wondered how in the world she never realized sooner how much she really liked this stubborn hot headed explosive boy in front of her, scolding her past self for ever ignoring the signs. 'He's too cute.'
"Oi what the hell you smiling for?" Frowning he slightly lifted his head higher. "Didn't you study?"
"Um…of course I did…"
"Ochaco…"
"Fine I glanced through it." She admitted rolling her eyes.
"You 'glanced' through it?" He felt his eye twitch when he saw the papers on her desk before plopping his head back down.
"Katsuki…" she saw him squinting his eyes shut and slowly roll over to get more comfortable until she shyly lifted his head and placed it on her lap making his eyes snap open.
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing." She gave a timid smile. "Long day?"
"Tch, you don't know the half of it." He yawned, letting himself relax and lazily closing his eyes when he felt her fingers gently rake through his ash blond spikes.
"I-Is this ok?" she softly asked.
He nodded and without meaning to hummed in contentment as her smile grew. "You know…this shit's going to put me to sleep…" he murmured. "So, I know you're doing this on purpose…"
"Well, it is late." She giggled, staring fondly at his relaxed features as he moved his head towards her with his eyes still closed. She still couldn't believe how lucky she was to finally be able to share in these simple moments…precious moments with him. She watched on as his chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm, trying to engrave this moment into memory.
As she continued to run her fingers through his soft hair, she felt pride in knowing that she was able to always see a side of him that few others rarely could. No one would ever believe her if she told them that the usually ill-tempered aggressively loud-mouthed explosive boy currently laying with his head on her lap…could also be this sweet and carrying guy who was always so passionate about everything.
"You know why I only glanced at them?" she said after a while piquing his interest and not at all ready for the tenderness in his eyes as he opened them and looked at her before it became marred by confusion.
"Why?"
"Because…we don't need it."
"Wait what?" Lifting himself up completely he seemed even more confused. "Ochaco this is really fuckin important-" he insisted.
"Yes, I know." She said placing a finger to his lips. "And I know that you want to be perfect at everything but…" removing her finger she gave him a warm smile. "I know I'm not perfect, nobody really is…"
When she saw him part his mouth ready to retort she quickly continued.
"But…I just want it to be us. We don't need all that information -and trust me when I say that it makes me so happy that you took the time to do this for us." She gently cupped his cheeks, and he could feel them flush at her next words. "But I just want you to be you. I don't need anything else. So, let's just do this our way."
Tilting his face, he felt his smirk slowly growing. "Got that right."
Giggling, she removed her hands stretching them over her head. "I think we just need to work on our communication is all."
"Oi my communication is just fine thank you." He squinted his eyes offended.
"Is that so?"
Turning his body so that he was now facing her, he settled her with a fixed look. "You know that whenever shit's bothering me, I'll let it be known Miss 'I'm fine'." He pointed out.
"W-well what am I supposed to say?" she pouted, feeling self-conscious all of a sudden at having to admit something like that.
"You're supposed to tell me if shit pisses you off." He raised his brows. "You said you want to do this our way right? So from now on if something's bothering you then tell me, and I'll still do the same alright?" Seeing her nod, he gave her a small smile. "Even if you get jealous."
"I…and you?" she pouted.
"Fuck yeah I get pissed off." He chuckled looking down until his eyes stopped at her hands.
Timidly reaching for her right hand he saw her eyes dart down to see what he was doing, making his heart jump.
Her eyes widened as she felt the heat crawl all the way up to her face when she saw him lift her hand up flat against his. Looking back at him she was startled to find him staring at her with a hint of pink on his own cheeks, her breath hitching when he carefuly interlaced his fingers with hers pulling her forward.
"Katsuki…" she whispered when his crimson eyes drifted down to her lips which she noted were now parted as he leaned in pressing his own against hers in a slow sensual kiss.
She felt her back hit the mattress as he hovered over her leaning his weight on his hands carefully not to place his weight on her, she felt him smiling against her lips. "I fuckin love how I can kiss you whenever I want now."
"Katsuki!" Giggling, she playfully smacked his shoulder before wrapping it around his neck and saw the necklace dangling in front of her face. "I can't believe you still have this…" she quietly said.
"Bet your ass I do." His proud smirk grew as he leaned down, this time pressing her mouth open with his own as he slid his tongue inside eliciting a satisfied moan from her. She smiled even bigger into him when he shuddered under her touch, hands roaming up and down his arms and across his abs to brush across the exposed skin of his stomach.
Slowly pulling away after a while and lifting himself to be at eye level he gave her one of his genuine smiles gently stroking her cheek. "I better be going angel face. It's late and I know you've got to wake up early."
Trying to calm her rapid heart she silently nodded, giving him a gentle smile in return to try and hide the slight disappointment she felt in him leaving when he swiftly got up, helping her in the process.
"What time are you leaving tomorrow?" he asked, walking over to her door still clutching her hand.
"7:00."
"I would ask if I could take you, but I know you're going with those idiots." He yawned.
"I really don't mind taking the train." She whispered as they got closer to her door.
"I know but I want to, and one of these days you're going to let me." He smirked confidently before he pulled her closer. "You do realize that sooner or later the rest of the morons in class are going to figure it out."
"And I don't mind if they do…eventually."
Detecting her uneasiness, as she tried to avert her gaze, he swiftly grabbed her chin, tiling her head to give her a lingering kiss. "It's fine Ochaco, just let me know when you're back."
Biting her lip, she eagerly nodded as he silently opened the door looking left and right before leaving for his room.

The next day after his morning routing of running, training, and rejecting any ideas Sero and Kirishima might have had for the day he found himself laying on his bed quietly reading until he heard the familiar knocking on his door. "Go away Shitty hair. I already told you no!"
"Oh, come on man open up."
Cursing under his breath, he got off his bed begrudgingly opening his door to a puppy eyed concerned Kirishima standing in the hall. "Oh, what now? Fuckin Raccoon eyes is coming back from her work studies soon so quite you're yapping."
"How do you know that?' Kirishima asked, eyeing him suspiciously.
"Round-face told me." He said leaving the door open knowing that Kirishima would find one way or another to let himself in.
"Glad to see you guys are doing better." He mussed out loud sitting himself on Bakugo chair while the blond threw himself back onto his bed to continue to read. "I thought you said you had to study."
"What the hell does it look like I'm doing." He grumbled, turning the page.
Grinning Kirishima shook his head. "I don't think reading Uraraka's book is considered studying bro."
Raising an eyebrow Bakugo looked between him and the book's cover. "Believe it or not there's some interesting shit in here."
"I know, Mina made me read some of it." He admitted a second before Bakugo busted out laughing.
"She what?! Oh man!" Clutching his stomach, Bakugo heard Kirishima snicker before he crossed his arms.
"Hey now you're the one who declined our offer to come hang out to read that book." He pointed out receiving a glare. "Besides what could you possibly study in there?"
"None of your business." Snapping the book shut he quickly sat up. "What did you want anyways?"
"To tell you to come to the arcade with us." Kirishima tried again hoping he'd change his mind.
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because I have shit to do."
"Like?" he questioned waiting for Bakugos reply which never came. "Exactly! Might as well enjoy one of your rare off days since you have nothing else planned."
"Tch, well for your information dumbass I do!" he snapped, finding it annoying that he couldn't flat out say he was waiting for Uraraka to get done with her work studies.
"Look man…" Kirishima started rubbing his neck trying to find the best way to breach the subject. "Who knows, maybe if you come out with us it'll help clear your mind…help you relax and think."
"I'm fine." Bakugo frowned getting the sudden feeling that there was something else on his friend's mind. "Shitty hair what's this about? Are you and Pinky alright?"
Touched by the sudden worry in Bakugos tone Kirishima decided not to dwell on it too much since he knew Bakugo would deny it. "No, Mina and I are fine. Although she has been acting rather weird lately…"
Rolling his eyes Bakugo knew exactly what he was talking about since when it came to being discreet, she was the worst at that. Come to think of it he found it surprising that she's kept quiet about his relationship with Uraraka for this long, even though she was terrible at hiding her excitement about it. So deep in thought he failed to hear Kirishima's ongoing rambling but that wasn't something new.
"-I don't know I guess I'll talk to her more about it later."
"Wait-talk about what?" Bakugo quickly asked in alarm.
"Dude!" Exasperated Kirishima lifted his hand in the air. "I've been talking for a good couple of minutes here!"
"You're always talking!"
"And you never listen!"
Huffing Bakugo quickly placed the book face down on his nightstand thinking he needed a break. "You're starting to sound like a damn chick."
Offended Kirishima leaned back in the chair. "I'm going to let that slide since I know you've been acting different lately too."
"The fuck does that mean?"
"I don't know…" shrugging his shoulder Kirishima thought back to the last couple of weeks. "How are things really with Uraraka?"
"Round-face?" Bakugos brows shot up at Kirishimas questioning expression. Clearing his throat, he swiftly got to his feet, finding anything to keep his hands busy. "Fine."
"Uh-huh." With a disbelieving look Kirishima just decided to go for it. "Listen man, if you don't want to tell me than that's fine. Just know, I'm here to talk if you need it. I'm just worried is all."
"About what?"
"Because I know how much you like the girl and I know how hard it's been for you." Kirishima saw something like understanding flicker through his friend's face, but it wasn't the expression he expected to see, instead it looked like Bakugo was trying to keep a straight face. "Unless you don't care anymore..."
"I do."
"Alright then enlighten me." He said leaning forward while he patiently waited for Bakugo to explain.
"Alright fine Shitty hair here it is." Leaning back against his dresser Bakugo took a deep breath. "We're together."
"Who's together?"
"Round-face and I."
"Uraraka and…?"
Bakugo saw the confused look on the red head's face as he tried to piece it all together. "Goddamnit Shitty hair! Ochaco and I are together!"
"Together? As in…"
"She's my girlfriend dumbass!" He snapped. The moment those words left his mouth both boys shared an equal look of surprise. He didn't know why it sounded so strange coming from himself; he supposed that even after the last couple of weeks to finally say it out loud to someone especially to Kirishima felt…nice.
"WHAT?!" Jolting from the chair Kirishima felt his mouth drop. "Since when?!"
"Keep it down idiot!" Bakugo shouted looking over at the door.
"Why?! This is great!" Kirishima couldn't help the giant grin on his face as Bakugos face turned beet red. "And you're face man!"
"I will blow your ass up!" He threatened unprepared for the hug his friend gave him. "The hell?"
"Congratulations man! I'm so happy for you guys-and about time too! Man imagine how happy Mina will be."
Clicking his tongue Bakugo stared at the cheerful smile on Kirishima's face. "Your girlfriend already knows moron."
"Alright man, that's funny." Kirishima laughed. "I love her and all but if Mina knew then there's no way…" He let the words trail off when he saw Bakugos bored expression. "HOW?!"
"Ochaco told her."
"When?!"
"Few weeks back."
"Wha…" dropping defeatedly in the chair Kirishima tried to think of a time when he did something really bad in his life to deserve all this. Guessing that accidently destroying little Emi's science project in kindergarten just now came back to bite him in the ass full force.
"Oi you alright? You look like you've got to take a shit." Bakugo grimaced at the weird look on his face.
"What?!-No I'm fine! I mean why didn't I know about any of this?!" he screeched making Bakugo wince after every high pitch of his voice.
"Damn it Kirishima!"
"Wow my voice is surprisingly high right now!" Kirishima grabbed his throat.
"Shit keep it d-"
"I thought we were friend's man. How am I the last one to find out?" Feeling insulted, Kirishima gave Bakugo a pointed look now realizing that instead of keeping secrets he was now on the other end of it.
"Because we don't want everyone of those nosey fucks to know yet."
"Why?" Scratching his head Kirishima still found himself having a hard time believing any of this new information. Bakugo having a girlfriend! Sweet Uraraka dating said friend! And Mina finally keeping quiet when the one time he wishes she wouldn't! "What is happing?! I feel like I need to sit down."
"You are sitting down." Rubbing his temple Bakugo kept reminding himself that being a hero meant having to deal with frantic people like this on a regular basis. So going back to all his training he took a deep calm breath. "OI SNAP THE FUCK OUT OF IT AND GET IT TOGETHER BEFORE I KILL YOU!" Satisfied that that seemed to do the trick once Kirishima snapped his mouth shut, he calmly continued. "Now listen alright, yes we cleared things up and made it official once we came back from that shitty island-"
"WHA-"
Bakugo lifted his hand up to stop him before he had another attack. "We've been taking it one step at a time since this is new for the both of us and I really don't want to fuck this up Kirishima."
Slowly feeling his anger die down Kirishima crossed his arms over his chest frowning. "So why with the big secret? I'd think you'd want everyone to know."
"I do, but Ochaco's still a little nervous about telling everyone."
"Oh." Rubbing his chin Kirishima thought back about why that would be and seeing the disappointed look on Bakugo's face it didn't take a genius to know where he stood on the matter. "And I'm guessing you're not ok with this."
"I mean I am but at the same time I'm not." Sitting down on his bed Bakugo locked eyes with the red head. "I understand where she's coming from -I do, but honestly I couldn't care two shits what those assholes think or say about me as long as it doesn't involve her."
"Have you talked to her about that?"
"I have. And I told her we couldn't keep it from everyone forever since you've just proven my point that even idiots have brains."
"Hey! I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." Kirishima grinned. "But other than that, how's it been? -to finally get what you want."
Thinking back on the last few weeks he felt a smile tug on his lips. "I'm fuckin happy Kirishima."
"Yeah?"
Nodding Bakugo felt his cheeks warm but didn't care at the moment and Kirishima's smile didn't go unnoticed. "Yeah, sometimes I think that…I don't know- that I'll just wake up and none of this is real. I've thought about this for so damn long that…sometimes I don't know, it scares me too of how it's making me feel or that I'll fuck this up somehow. And sometimes it just feels overwhelming…"
"Overwhelming in a good or bad way?"
"More than good." he quickly said, snapping his eyes up.
"Glad to hear it man." Kirishima slapped his shoulder. "Happy you finally got what you wanted."
Chuckling to himself Bakugo slowly shook his head. "Not everything. At least not yet."
"Huh?" Tilting his head Kirishima saw him nervously avoiding his gaze like a child who's just been caught and stubbornly didn't want to admit it. "Katsuki Bakugo, are we talking about…"
"WHAT-NO!" Jumping to his feet Bakugo glared menacingly that his friend would even think that he was interested in getting to that. "That's not what this is about shitty hair!"
"Oh."
"I mean it's not like I haven't thought about it." As soon as those words left his mouth, he immediately regretted it when he heard Kirishima chortling. "Shut the hell up!"
"Relax man, that's normal to think about that kind of stuff especially with your girlfriend." Kirishima smiled reassuringly happy to see Bakugo's shoulder relax. "Believe it or not it's part of growing up. So don't feel bad about it."
"I do if it makes me fuckin feel like that damn grape perv before his real brain kicked in." Bakugo grumbled.
"Alright then what's it about?"
Nervously running his hand through his hair Bakugo stared at something over Kirishima's shoulder. "This is something else…something I really don't mind waiting for."
Feeling his jaw drop Kirishima rapidly blinked at the now scowling Bakugo. 'Does that mean what I think it means…has Bakubro finally figured it out…?'
"You know what that means! -Double date!" Kirishima jumped to his feet happily clapping his hands together.
"Hell no!"
