(A/N): Hey Guys! So, most of my chapters usually go from fluffy to sad, but this one is the opposite. Sad to fluffy. Well... sad to smutty to fluffy. :3
Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.
Elaine
I slid off the bed, my bottom hitting the floor before I scrambled to my feet, staring at Leo in complete and utter shock.
"Leo- what? No!" I exclaimed, before he covered my mouth with his hand, reminding me that my mother and brother were only a few dozen feet away.
"Elaine, you said anything." I shook my head furiously, snatching his hand away from my face as I backpedaled.
"I'm not going to kill you, Leo!" I hissed, my tone softening somewhat as I saw the desperation in his eyes. "I love you Leo, I can't- kill you. Ever." I saw a small, unwilling smile emerge on his lips, but he tried to hide it, pulling me closer to his body.
"You have to. Elaine, please." My heart broke, hearing him begging like that, so I didn't shake my head. I wasn't agreeing, but I couldn't dash what was seemingly his last hope like that.
"When do you think this is going to happen? I mean- if it ever does?" He shrugged lightly, and I distracted alternatively between watching him gnaw his bottom lip and the feeling of his hands gripping my waist.
"If ever? At sixteen." I exhaled loudly, tilting my head back, nodding as I tried to blink back tears.
"Alright... alright. If this is going to happen- If it does- we still have a year. A year to figure this out." I reached out, lifting his face with two fingers under his chin. "Why sixteen?" He pursed his lips, still avoiding my eyes.
"After I started training with he and Shari, my dad mentioned something about my sixteenth birthday. Said I'd get stronger, faster and-" He cut himself off, flushing bright red.
"And what?" I asked, slightly having to force back a giggle as I saw his normally pale cheeks now the colour of tomato skins.
"Nothing." He replied, somewhat defensively, and, feeling him start to retract his arms, I crawled into his lap so he'd have no choice but to hold me.
"It's not nothing. You don't go that red over nothing Leo." I said smugly, smirking slightly as I felt him sigh into my hair.
"Just something that I need Brooke for." I stiffened in his arms before letting out a loud snort and allowing myself to dissolve into a fit of giggles. "It's not funny." He mumbled, drawing me closer to him, and I purposefully moved so I was straddling his lap. Not forcing it, just trying to get into a comfortable position facing him.
"It is a little funny." I told him, holding my index and thumb an inch or so apart as I drew back in order to meet his eyes just as he rolled them.
"Of course you'd think so." He said with a sigh, but his lips bore an amused smile.
"It's because I have keen observational skills." I boasted, and he pressed a feather-light kiss to the corner of my lips.
"Sure." He said. "That's why." I pretended to look offended, but I kind of got distracted as his lips brushed mine for a second, causing me to hum lightly.
"Careful there Leo, you're playing with fire." I murmured, squirming to get closer to him, and a wide smile spread over his lips.
"This is one time I don't mind being burnt." He whispered, before pressing our lips together gently.
That one slight movement sent a tingle from my head to my toes, and pressed myself firm to him, fingers clenching the front of his shirt as I struggled to deepen the kiss, but he only smirked and kept drawing away a little bit each time.
As his lips left mine completely I let out a quiet whimper, my eyes fluttering open to meet his bright blue ones, only a centimeter or two away.
I opened my mouth to speak, but he rocked his hips up into mine, effectively rendering me silent as my forehead fell to his shoulder.
I tried to reciprocate the action, but the grip he had on my hips kept me immobilized, allowing him to do whatever he wanted, but to limit my reactions. Bodily, at least, but not vocally.
"Nng... My brother's only in the room next door Leo-" I cut off in a gasp as he nipped at my neck, his lips curved into a smirk as he pulled back to brush my lips with his.
"He's downstairs, I checked." I blinked in surprise, though my mind was immediately swept blank again as his hands crept down to my hips, thumbs brushing my thighs through my night shorts.
"Jesus..." He released a throaty chuckle that went straight through me, my fingers digging into his biceps as he continued to roll his hips into mine at a painstakingly slow pace.
"Nope. Judas baby." And at that, I couldn't stop laughing.
I guess it was what he had expected though because he didn't seem disappointed, he just watched me with a look- a look of pure adoration- as he guided me onto the bed so I didn't fall backwards onto the floor.
"You're so-" I cut myself off with a snort and he brushed my fringe out my face with a small smile.
"I know, I'm stupid." He said, and I struggled to frown, still half-laughing, but he leaned down, pressing his lips to mine again. "I love you." Those three words broke me.
My frown immediately turned into a goofy grin, a blush emerged on my cheeks, and, since he was holding my head up with the hand he was currently caressing my face with, I squeezed myself around the middle as I let out a low squeal, smacking him on the arm.
"I love you more." I said, and as I saw the same goofy smile make its way onto his lips, revealing his pearly whites, I pounced on him, and his arms encircled me tightly.
"I love you most." He whispered into my hair as I laid my head on his chest, and although I didn't want to admit it, I knew he was probably right.
(A/N): So, what did you think?
Over a thousand words!
If you're confused, not all the chapters since the end of fourth year where directly after each other, time-wise, which is why Leo's birthday seems to happen so soon.
