(A/N): Hey Guys! So, I'm really sorry I haven't updated in so long, but I was doing Camp NaNoWriMo and I was busy with school and other real life stuff.

Disclaimer: I own nothing you recognise.

Sirius

By the time we reached the hospital wing- where we sat waiting for Madam Pomfrey to return from picking up Remus- my eyes were starting to water from the pain in my side.

"Leo..." I started quietly, knowing that he could hear me no matter what. "I'm not going to turn because of this, right?" I saw him hesitate, then shook his head.

"You shouldn't. You were in animagus form, the infection shouldn't have transferred when you changed back... I can make sure you don't though, if you want." I watched him for a second.

"How?" He stood, steps slightly slower than normal, and I guessed he was keeping track of Madam Pomfrey's progress across the grounds.

He disappeared for a minute, and just as I and the others were getting antsy, he re-entered the room with a syringe full of ever so slightly blue-tinged, clear liquid.

He met my eyes and I nodded, watching as he squeezed the plunger down, making sure there weren't any air bubbles.

"What is it?" I heard Elaine ask, but Leo remained silent, lifting my blood stained but otherwise unharmed shirt to reveal the shallow claw marks. He steadied his hand- even though it hadn't seemed very shaky to begin with- then inserted the needle easily just above the injury. I barely felt it- whether that was because of the pain I was already feeling from the wounds, or because of whatever was inside the syringe, I didn't know.

Pulling away, he let my shirt drop, and threw the syringe through the open top of the hazmat bin in the corner of the room with perfect aim.

"Leo-" Elaine tried again as he jumped up onto the end of the bed next to James, seeing as Peter had taken his usual spot next to her, but she cut herself off as the door swung open, revealing Madam Pomfrey and an exhausted looking Remus. She jumped as she noticed us all sitting there, probably only used to seeing Leo and Elaine there, if anything, and loosened her grip on Remus. In a split second, Leo was at her side, supporting Remus easily in her stead.

"Check on Sirius?" He suggested, and as she looked over, she swallowed thickly.

"Put him on one of the empty beds." She advised, probably somewhat uselessly, considering Remus was already on a bed halfway across the room before she had even finished talking- I could see him blushing faintly, and had to wonder just how many times Leo had picked him up over the years. Madam Pomfrey watched him for a second, then crossed the room as well, to check on me. With careful hands, she lifted my shirt, wincing as she took in the sight.

"Leonides..." Leo didn't flinch at the sound like he did usually- in fact, he seemed to have been expecting it.

"Yes, Poppy?" Uh oh. When Leo whipped out that innocent look, all shy smile and fluttery eyelashes, I knew he'd done something he really shouldn't have.

"I notice Mr. Black's injuries are healing much faster than they ought to be." She said nonchalantly, then spun on him, smacking him lightly on the top of the head. "You. Are not. A Nurse." She scolded firmly, and Leo grinned.

"Yes, but I only did first aid, as people first on the scene are allowed to do even without a Healers license." She rolled her eyes, turning back to wave her hand at me.

"You can go, Mr. Black." My eyebrows shot up.

"What? But I'm hurt!" She shot a dark look over her shoulder at the still smiling Leo.

"With the 'first aid' that Mr. Ellwood administered, you'll be fully healed within the hour, not even a strong scar. Vampire venom is a powerful thing." My eyebrows, if possible, rose even higher, and I leaned over to meet Leo's eyes.

"Does that mean I'm going to turn?" I asked nervously, and he smirked at me.

"One, that's not how you turn someone into a vampire. Two-" Madam Pomfrey cut him off now, returning from the office I hadn't even seen her enter.

"He can't turn someone into a vampire." She finished for him, tossing him a small vial of hat I guessed was blood. "Drink that when you get the chance, it'll help you keep your strength up." Leo rolled his eyes at her, as if questioning why he needed to, but, of course, easily caught it anyway.

"What about Remus?" Leo asked shortly, and the healer turned to the weakened werewolf boy.

"If he's not injured, you may take him down to breakfast with you." She allowed, and Leo immediately lifted Remus off the bed, clearly not in as much of a hurry now, because he didn't use his vampire speed. Depositing Remus on his feet, Leo let him wrap an arm around his shoulders, and even at his height, the werewolf found it a bit difficult.

"Hurry up Padfoot." He called over his shoulder with a grin, and it took me a second to realise he meant me.

"Coming."

Leo

When we reached the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall, Lily was waiting for us, cradling a mug of coffee.

"Morning." She jumped a little, and I would have been surprised that she didn't notice us before now, but she looked more exhausted than Remus did.

"Ugh..." She groaned, laying her head down on the tabletop. "How'd it go?" Her voice was muffled, but even those of my friends that were fully human could hear it.

"I clawed Sirius." Moony murmured, and Lily's head shot up- if you could even call it that.

"I'm fine, Madam Pomfrey said I'd be healed within the hour." I smiled slightly, glad he had phrased it so smartly.

"No big complications, then?" We shared a look, then burst out laughing.
