Disclaimer: I own nothing but by own characters.

"It seems like you've found yourself in a pickle, huh?" A dull voice uttered through the rain, I tried my best to squint my eyes, shaking sway the blurring of my visions just to see the source of the voice, a tall and curvy ashen haired woman drapped in a tightly laced suit surrounded by a dozen of similarly dressed men, stare down at me with cold indifference.

"W-what d-do you m-mean?" I asked with a pained moan. Everything hurts, my chest, my stomach, my head. Can someone please end my suffering already? The woman's face scrunched up in disgust, with a sigh she bent down and whispered into my ears, causing me to freeze up. "Would you like a second chance at life? To start over again? To live your life to the fullest?"

"I…" I tried to croak out a word, but nothing came. My head was already growing lighter, so that only meant that my time was almost up already. It would be a lie if I said that I wasn't afraid, that I'm not utterly terrified of dying. Even now, when faced with this question, my body is trembling without stopping.

Is this what I truly want? Do I want a second chance? To fix myself and my mistakes? To be the best possible version of myself?

No matter how many times my mind breezed through for an answer, looking for something that would stir me to reject the woman's offer, I couldn't think of anything. I simply want to live goddammit! I don't want to die like this! This shit hurts like hell. The only choice is to accept.

"So what is your choice? I don't have all day. Please speak up." The woman sighed in irritation as she coldly glared at my bleeding form. I couldn't help but grimace as I pulled myself up to reach her in the eyes, with a pained gasp and an almost immediate desperate nod, she smiled at my gesture as she pulled out a gun from her pocket.

My eyes widened as I tried to crawl away from her, but alas, it was worthless, as she pointed the strange looking gun at me, pulling the trigger. The last words she muttered sent shivers through my spine.

"Goodbye Brandon, I hope your next life treats you better than this one did. Grow strong, and do not forget to live only for yourself." She uttered as the bullet smashed into my head, blasting a hole through my skull as my brain smeared the ground. How am I alive? Please end me. What did I do to deserve this? Let me die….let me die…let me die…"Because when I come back, everything you know and love will be ripped out of your hands and burnt to the ground. Ah, I almost forgot to tell you; tell my father I said hi, alright?"

The Void —

I couldn't feel anything. The infinite nothingness that surrounded me was chocking. It was mind numbingly boring. Time felt stagnant, and all I could do was watch on through the darkness and despair as memories of the encounter played on my mind again and again and again without stopping.

Then suddenly, as if my prayers were being answered, a soft glow brought me out of the depths of my musing, I sluggishly pulled my shapeless mass into its direction, enjoying the warmth of its light before the void itself shattered. Then I blinked, finally after what felt like centuries my body was back to its normal humanoid form, but now another problem cropped up, I wasn't in the void anymore but now trapped in an empty white room.

Sorry for the delay, kid. I was busy with something important.

What? Who am I speaking to right now?

Well, I guess you're justified in your confusion, so let's do this one step at a time, I'm Shiro.

Shiro means white….so your name is white? That sounds suspiciously like a fake name or something I would have given to myself in primary school.

Hey, don't go dissing on my name, got it? It's cool, regardless of what you think. And are you really the one to be judging me? Your name Bran means crow, so what do you think of that, huh?

….Alright you had me there.

As expected, you're really as dull as she described.

Huh? She?

The psychopathic bitch that smeared your brain on the pavement. The literal reason for why you're here? That's the she.

Oh, I don't really understand. How do you know her?

She's kind of well…..

…Go on.

Alright fine. She's my daughter alright?

Why in the absolutely fucking two hells would your daughter go out of her fucking way to kill me? How does she even know who I am? Why did she know my name too?

….Well I guess it wouldn't really hurt to tell you. My daughter is in love with you. Like crazy yandere levels of obsession with you.

Why would she be in love with me? I don't even know her name, I can't remember anything about her! Out of the millions of people in the world, why was it me that she chose to be obsessed with?

Okay dude, calm down. I can practically smell your fear from all the way up here.

Alright I'm calm, please answer my question now.

I can't and frankly won't reveal why she did or why she's doing what she's doing because I honestly find your situation to be fucking hilarious. And secondly? You guys have a history going way back but I don't suppose you can remember it.

What do you mean by that?

What I'm trying to say is that, she did something to your memories. Whatever spell or shit she did is interfering with all your memories up to this point.

W-what?! Can't you do something about it?

Yes I can.

Then please-

But I won't.

B-but why?

Simple. Because it's hilarious, if I just snapped my fingers and fixed everything, watching you would be less entertaining than I would like it to be and truth be told, I'd rather not stress myself trying to fix your memories, I just don't feel like it.

…..Are you serious right now? Is that all I am to you? Simple entertainment to amuse you for as long as you wish?

Pfft. Seeing the look on your face is hilarious but cut with the nihilistic crap.

But how do you expect me to-

To ignore what is going on? I don't expect that from you and frankly, I would like it if you stop with your paragon of morality mentally, it'll simply get you killed.

….Ok

Anyways you aren't going to enter your new life without something to help you to survive. That's why I decided to conduct a little experiment on you.

Experiment?

Well I thought of granting you the regular old gamer system I've granted to a dozen others before but I decided to spice things up.

And how did you do so?

I'm granting you a super special and exclusive gamer system. Its a prototype as of now but with its vast features and upgrades, it's a hazard to handle due to the glitches. And that's where you come from!

So you want me to basically be your beta tester? To check for bugs and stuff.

I want you to be a scapegoat. To see the limit of what the system has to offer. Honestly, this is more or less highly dangerous, there's a high chance that I will dump the project and scrap the system regardless of your success or failure.

So I'm an expendable piece?

Pretty much. If push comes to shove, I can just strip the system from your soul and start this process again. But that's unlikely, it would take way more effort than I'd like to use. Maybe I'll relegate it to Kuro? the bastard was the one that was supposed to reign Lucille in but he failed.

….Who's Kuro?

Someone you shouldn't concern yourself with. Anyways my time is running out and I need to be somewhere asap so let me speed things up.

So to begin the process. You're going to be reincarnated into another world. The world of course will be chosen randomly for you based on the difficulty you choose.

So please select a starting difficulty.

[Choose Your Difficulty]

[]Easy

[]Normal

[]Hard

I choose hard.

Oh? That's a very dangerous choice, are you sure about this?

Yes I am. What's the point of living without challenges? I want to earn the achievements I attain in this new world with my sweat and blood.

You know what, you've got balls of steel dude. My respect for you has doubled. As for the world? It will be fully generated soon. Do you have any final questions before you are reincarnated?

Your daughter told me that she'll eventually come back for me…she said that she'll rip apart all my accomplishments and watch the world burn.

Ah. Typical Lucille: She's a rogue entity, someone who has grown extraordinarily powerful without my supervision. I've already punished her in the past for pulling a stunt like this but that apparently didn't stick. You don't need to worry about her intervention anytime soon, I have ways to keep her out.

I'll trust in your words, Shiro.

Hmm. Anyways, the world has officially been prepared, any final words before the reincarnation?

Lucille told me to send you her regards.

….Well fuck.

A Gamers Guide To Godhood

Chapter 01: The Beginning

"Where am I?" You whispered as you stared around your surroundings. Your memories felt absolutely fucked for some reason, you coupl vaguely remember the moment before you died but everything else was a blank to you. Your contemplation however ended as soon as your eyes landed on your dressed state. Glossing over the details of your attire, which seemed to imply that you were a school student, you noticed the school name embroidered on the surface of your dark suit and froze up immediately, Gotham University ...I'm in Gotham. That alone almost made you break into a scream. This honestly shouldn't be possible, if anything out of all places why Gotham? Why did it have to be the hellhole that's crawling with countless psychopaths and serial killers. You sighed as you gritted your teeth.

'Now what am I supposed to do?' You mused as the train came to a halt, following the movements of the other passengers, you grabbed your school bag and rushed out of the opened train door. As your eyes took in the surroundings, a strange bubbling feeling of anxiety overtook your senses. Snapping you out of your amazement was a vibration from your bag, quickly unzipping the schoolbag, you opened your phone partially smiling in relief that there wasn't a password. Though said relief seized as soon as you saw the message that stuck out.

Aunt May: Hello Peter, I'm just texting to ask if you've arrived at Gotham? I hope your journey went well? Anyways please call me when you're settled.

….You honestly didn't know how to react to the message. Your face had already shuffled through enough of a variety of emotions to display how you were feeling. Only one question however lingered in your mind. Am I Peter Parker? That alone opened up another massive can of worm that you were too terrified to even consider. If you were Peter Parker, transferring to literal fucking Gotham, then didn't that mean that this world is a weird amalgation of the Marvel and DC universe? If that was so then how the hell are you supposed to survive here?

Would you like a second chance at life? To start over again? To live your life to the fullest?

You never wanted to feel weak again. To waste away and die insignificantly without achieving anything of importance in this world. The truth of the matter is that this isn't fair, where's the new opportunity? New chance at life? How the hell is that supposed to happen in this kind of world?

"Kid, is everything alright? You look like you need some help." A passerby asked, his eyebrow raised up as he continued. "Or are you lost or something? I can try my best to direct you around these parts."

"No sir, there's nothing wrong." You replied quickly, almost too fast even. You knew that your face was probably saying a different thing but you really didn't want to or feel like keeping a prolonged discussion with a random man. Especially when you're trying to comprehend the brunt of how fucked your situation is "I'm just nervous that's all. First day of school and all, haha."

The man smiled softly at your reply, chuckling as he passed by, "Ah, I get it. I'd like to give a word of advice, the best way to stop your nervousness is to stop focusing on what's making you so squirmish in the first place. Don't think about the situation, just think about doing your best and embracing the moment. It'll help a lot." The man didn't wait for your reply as he scurried away soon after. '

'He isn't really wrong…' You mused to yourself as you took large gasps of air to calm your nerves. Even if this world is some kind of clusterfuck of settings, that shouldn't stop you from living this life to the fullest, fuck everything else! There's no way in hell you're dying once again! With your mind set you pulled out a map to guide you towards the school.

You noticed a strange glowing app in the phone that looked suspiciously familiar but you ignored it as you took the bus to the school.

It took a while but you finally reached the school and well it was huge. Like really really massive, it also looked way more intricate than you'd have imagined. At the end of the day you were genuinely surprised by how grand the whole thing looked. Stepping through the gate you observed the chattering students scattered around. 'They all look so fancy…this shouldn't be a surprise to me though, afterall isn't the school for the children of Gothams elite? Or at least for influential people of sorts? Only top notch students could realistically enter this place. Since I'm Peter Parker then my appearance here shouldn't be surprising.'

"Hello, are you the new student that transferred here from Midtown Highschool?" A voice called out to you, snapping your head to the side your jaws dropped as you found the person speaking to you. The bona-fide bombshell was a ginger haired girl with stunning curves, her deep green eyes mesmerised you as she strolled down towards your location.

"Is there something on my face?" She asked with a raised eyebrow which caused you to flush up instantly. "N-no. Sorry about that." You awkwardly replied as you averted your gaze. This is so embarrassing….why did she have to be the one to speak to me….jeez some people are already looking this way, please just stop staring.

The girl didn't seem to mind your reaction that much as she continued speaking, "I was sent by the principal to guide you to your classroom, please follow me." She gestured as she began walking away, of course you followed soon after.

The road to the classroom was even more awkward than you thought it'd be, the ginger seemed to not be interested in sparking up any small conversations. This just made you happy when you arrived at what looked like your destination. Finally.

"This is going to be your classroom for the rest of the semester." She said with a neutral expression before pulling out something from her pocket. "Here's your school I.D it's very important so make sure to keep it safe alright? And you're required to meet the principal for further information about the curriculum after you're done with classes."

"Got it." You nodded and without a second thought she turned around to leave. Sighing at everything you simply scurried into the classroom to avoid any more attention. You were able to take a seat quietly, mostly because the other students were too busy discussing with one another to notice your presence. Not gonna lie, that hurt a lot. But it's sadly not that surprising. I never really stood out, even in my past life.

Some time passed by with you scribbling notes to satisfy your boredom, that was until the bell rang and all the students quickly shuffled into their seats as almost immediately a teacher barged into the classroom with a pensive stare. The previously seated students stood up in uniform and greeted the teacher, you followed their lead in confusion but quickly sat down once the greeting ended.

"Good morning to you too." She said with a smile, "Today we have a new student joining us so could said student please stand up and introduce themselves?"

You nervously complied, trying your best to ignore the other students' gaze digging holes through your head. As you stood, you fixed your glasses as you began your introduction.

"My name is Peter Parker and I'm happy to be here." You said with a small smile, the teacher nodded and gestured for you to take your seat which you did soon after. You sighed in relief as the other students didn't seem to care about you anymore as their focus shifted to the board as the teacher began lectures.

Time went by quickly, before you knew it, class was already over. Arranging your things you quickly went to the principal office as the pretty girl said.

You walked down the hallway, the distant sound of chattering students filling the air. Your footsteps echoed slightly on the linoleum floor, a constant reminder that this place was still new to you. Turning a corner, you saw the principal's office at the end of the hall, the door slightly ajar. As you made your way toward it, a muffled sound caught your attention.

It came from a nearby alcove. Peering around the corner, you saw two boys standing over a girl who was crouched against the wall. The taller one had his hand on her shoulder, pushing her down while the other one sneered, taunting her.

"Hey, leave her alone!" you called out, your voice wavering slightly. The bullies turned to look at you. The tall one, a sneer forming on his lips, stepped closer. "And who are you supposed to be? The new kid? Stay out of this if you know what's good for you."

You hesitated, feeling your heart pound in your chest. The girl looked up at you, her eyes red and filled with tears. "Please," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the thudding in your ears.

The sight of her crying was too much. Without thinking, you stepped forward. "I said, leave her alone!" you repeated, more forcefully this time.

The shorter bully laughed. "Or what? You gonna stop us?"

"I'll do whatever it takes," you said, trying to keep your voice steady. The tall bully shoved you hard, causing you to stumble backward.

"You think you're some kind of hero? You're gonna regret this," he growled.

You steadied yourself and clenched your fists. "I don't care. Just leave her alone."

The girl, emboldened by your presence, managed to stand up, still trembling but no longer cowering. "Just go away," she said, her voice gaining strength.

The shorter bully glanced at his friend, uncertainty flickering across his face. "Come on, man. This isn't worth it."

The taller one glared at you, then at the girl. "Fine. Whatever. But this isn't over." With that, he turned and stalked off, the shorter bully following reluctantly.

You turned to the girl, who was still shaking. "Are you okay?" you asked softly.

She nodded, wiping her eyes. "Thank you. I didn't think anyone would help."

"Don't mention it," you said, offering her a small smile. "I'm Peter, by the way. Peter Parker."

She managed a weak smile in return. "I'm Liz. Thanks again, Peter. I owe you one."'

Liz? As in the same Liz that Peter in the MCU had a crush on? The one whose dad is the literal Vulture? That Liz?' Before you could respond, the bell rang, signaling the end of the period. "I have to go to the principal's office," you said. "Are you going to be alright?"

"I'll be fine," she replied. "Thanks to you."

You nodded and continued down the hall, feeling a mixture of nerves and satisfaction. As you reached the principal's office, you took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in," came the voice from inside.

You opened the door and stepped in, ready to face whatever awaited you next. You opened the door and stepped into the principal's office, your heart still racing from the confrontation in the hallway. The office was decorated with dark wooden furniture and shelves lined with books. The principal, a stern-looking man with graying hair and sharp eyes, sat behind a large desk.

"Peter Parker, I presume," he said, looking up from a file on his desk. "Please, have a seat."

You nodded and sat down in the chair opposite him, trying to steady your nerves.

"I wanted to personally congratulate you," the principal began, folding his hands on the desk. "Winning the scholarship to Gotham University is no small feat. It speaks volumes about your dedication and intelligence."

You felt a flush of embarrassment and tried to downplay it. "Thank you, sir, but it was really just a matter of luck and a bit of hard work."

The principal raised an eyebrow. "Luck? I don't think so, Mr. Parker. Your achievements are a testament to your hard work and determination. Don't undermine your own efforts."

You nodded, feeling a mix of pride and discomfort at the praise. After all you weren't really the one that won it, it was the original Peter "I appreciate it, sir. I just want to make the most of the opportunity."

"And I'm sure you will," the principal said with a smile. "Now, there's another matter I'd like to discuss with you. You're going to be working closely with another scholarship recipient. Barbara Gordon. She's one of our top students, and I think the two of you will make an excellent team."

The principal picked up the phone on his desk and dialed a number. "Barbara, could you come to my office, please? Thank you."

He hung up and looked back at you. "Barbara is exceptional, much like yourself. I have no doubt you'll find her to be a valuable ally during your time at Gotham University."

A few moments later, the door opened and the same girl with ginger hair from earlier confidently strided as she walked in. She glanced at you with the same old cold stare before turning to the principal.

"You wanted to see me, Principal Long?" She asked."Yes, Barbara. I'd like you to meet Peter Parker," he said, gesturing towards you. "Peter, this is Barbara Gordon."

You stood up and extended your hand. "We've met before, Nice to meet you again, Barbara."

She shook your hand firmly, her eyes still cold but this time brimming with curiosity. "Nice to meet you too, Peter. I've heard a lot about you."

"Likewise," you replied, feeling a bit more at ease. The principal smiled, looking pleased. "I'm confident that the two of you will accomplish great things together. Now, I'll let you get acquainted. Barbara, could you show Peter around the school and help him get settled?"

"Of course, sir," Barbara said with a nod. She turned to you with a professional smile. "Ready for the grand tour?"

"Sure," You said, feeling a sense of anticipation. As you walked out of the office with Barbara, you couldn't help but feel that this was the beginning of something significant. And it was no way related to the fact that you found her attractive. Definitely not. As she walked ahead of you and started her quick tour you tried your damn hardest not to stare at her ass. Judging by the amused looks you got by her, you think she already knows. This is going to be a long tour huh?

Barbara led you through the bustling hallways, pointing out various classrooms, the library, the cafeteria, and the gym. As you walked, you noticed how effortlessly she navigated the crowds, exchanging friendly greetings with almost everyone she passed.

"And that's the science wing," Barbara said, gesturing to a series of doors marked with lab numbers. "We have some of the best facilities here, especially for chemistry and physics."

"Impressive," you replied, genuinely awed by the school's resources. "It's a lot to take in."

Barbara smiled. "You'll get used to it. And if you ever get lost, just look for me or ask anyone. People here are pretty friendly."

As you reached the end of the hallway, the school bell rang, signaling the end of the day. The sound of lockers slamming and students chattering filled the air as everyone began to head out.

"Well, that's the grand tour," Barbara said, turning to you with a grin. "What do you think?"

"It's a great school," You said, nodding appreciatively. "A bit overwhelming, but I'm sure I'll find my way around soon enough. Thanks for showing me."

"No problem. We all were new here once," Barbara replied. "So, how are you settling in? Moving to a new place can be tough."

"It's been an adjustment," You admitted. "But I'm looking forward to starting classes and meeting more people."

Barbara nodded, understanding in her eyes. "You'll do great, Peter. And hey, if you ever need help with anything, just let me know. We scholarship kids have to stick together, right?"

"Right," You said with a soft smile, trying your best to Bury the light blush creeping past your neck. As the tour continued.

As students began to filter out of the building, Barbara glanced at her watch. "I have to head to a student council meeting, but it was really nice meeting you. Good luck with everything, Peter."

"Thanks, Barbara," you said. "I appreciate it. See you around."

She waved and started down the hallway, blending into the throng of students. You watched her go, feeling a mixture of gratitude and excitement. Today had been a challenging mix of anxiety and fear, at the very least it was great to know that there was someone who you could at least get along with. This world is scary, outright horrifying. You never expected to even be interacting with Barbara Gordon, the literal Batgirl herself.

As you walked out of the school gates, your phone buzzed in your pocket. Pulling it out, you saw a familiar number calling. You hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Hello?" you said."Hey, Peter! It's Aunt May. Just checking in to see how your first day went."

You smiled, finding the sound of her voice comforting. Maybe it was the emotions of the original peter acting up but hearing her voice greatly calms you down. "Hey, Aunt May. It was good, actually. Met some nice people and got a tour of the school."

"I'm glad to hear that," she replied. "I know it's a big change. We'll talk more when you get home. See you soon, dear."

"See you soon, Aunt May," you said, ending the call and slipping your phone back into your pocket.Just as you were about to continue walking, you felt a sharp shove from behind that sent you stumbling forward. Turning around, you found yourself face-to-face with the bullies from earlier. The tall one smirked, cracking his knuckles.

"Thought you could just walk away, huh, Parker?" he sneered.

Before you could respond, the shorter bully grabbed your backpack, yanking it off your shoulders. "Let's teach him a lesson," he said, tossing your bag aside.

You tried to defend yourself, but they were too quick. The tall bully's fist connected with your stomach, knocking the wind out of you. You doubled over, gasping for breath, as the shorter one kicked your legs out from under you. You hit the ground hard, your vision blurring with the pain.

"Had enough, hero?" the tall bully taunted, delivering another punch to your side. You struggled to fight back, landing a weak punch on the shorter bully's leg, but it only made them laugh. "Look at him squirm," the shorter one said, kicking you again.

Just then, you heard footsteps approaching rapidly. A voice shouted, "Hey! Get away from him!"

The bullies looked up, startled. You glanced up through your haze of pain to see a tall, muscular boy charging towards you. It was Flash Thompson, one of the most popular and athletic kids at school as Barbara pointed out earlier.

"Flash, this isn't your business," the tall bully said, though his voice wavered.

"It is now," Flash growled. "You wanna beat up on someone? Try me."

The tall bully, trying to save face, stepped forward. "You think you can take us both, Thompson?"

Flash didn't even hesitate. He swung a powerful punch, landing squarely on the bully's jaw. The tall bully stumbled back, clutching his face.

"Get lost before I decide to really hurt you," Flash warned, his eyes blazing with anger.

The shorter bully helped his friend to his feet, both of them looking terrified. "Let's get out of here," he muttered, and they bolted, running down the street.

Flash turned to you, extending a hand. "You okay, Parker?"

You took his hand, grateful for the help, and pulled yourself up. "Thanks, Flash. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."

He shrugged, giving you a half-smile. "No problem. Those guys are jerks. You stood up to them, though. That takes guts."

You rubbed your sore ribs, wincing as you replied with mirth. "Yeah, but it didn't go so well."

Flash clapped you on the shoulder. "You did fine. Next time, just give me a shout if they try anything. We're all in this together, right?"

You nodded, feeling a surprising sense of camaraderie which was honestly shocking honestly, it made you wonder if this was really the true Flash, the one who bullied the marvel peter so vehemently. It was however ironic that it was what was supposed to be your lifelong bully defending you from being bullied. "Right. Thanks again, Flash."

He smiled and nodded. "Take care, Parker. See you around."

As Flash began to leave, you reached into your pocket and pulled out your phone, hoping to distract yourself from the pain. Your eyes widened as you saw the same mysterious red app from earlier glowing ominously on the screen. Without thinking, you pressed the app.

Suddenly, the world around you shifted. The colors drained from the surroundings, leaving everything in shades of gray. The bustling students and teachers that filled the area were replaced by faceless, ghostly figures. The only things that retained color were you and Flash, who had stopped and was staring around in shock.

"Peter, what the hell is going on?" Flash demanded, his voice tinged with panic.

"I don't know," you replied, feeling just as bewildered. "I just pressed this app, and then everything changed."

Flash's anxiety visibly increased. "We need to get out of here. Now!"

He turned and ran out of the alleyway, his footsteps echoing eerily in the now silent surroundings. You quickly followed, your heart pounding in your chest.

"Flash, wait!" you called out, trying to keep up with him.Flash stopped abruptly, and as you caught up to him, you both stood in stunned silence. The school you had just left had transformed into an intricate medieval castle. Towers loomed high above, and stone walls stretched out as far as you could see. The familiar schoolyard was now an ancient courtyard, complete with cobblestone paths and ivy-covered walls.

"What is this place?" Flash asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I have no idea," you replied, feeling a strange headache forming. You reached up to rub your temples, but the pain only intensified.

Just then, an ethereal azure butterfly flitted past you, its delicate wings glowing softly in the gray landscape. Your body froze, unable to move or even blink as the butterfly hovered near your face.

The world around you seemed to fade even further, the medieval castle blurring into an indistinct haze. Your vision darkened, and the last thing you saw was the butterfly's gentle glow before everything went black. As you barreled straight for the ground one last thought crossed your mind, 'Don't tell me that even fucking Persona is part of this world, is that why the app seemed familiar….I just went through the whole Petsona 5 cutscreen.'

Velvet Room

You woke up to find yourself in a dimly lit room with a deep blue hue, the air thick with a sense of otherworldliness. The walls were adorned with intricate designs, and you quickly realized you were handcuffed, chains tying your neck and legs to the floor. Panic surged through you as you struggled to break free, but the chains held fast, clinking ominously with every movement.

"Where am I?" you muttered, your voice echoing slightly in the eerie silence.

Footsteps approached, and you looked up to see two identical girls with silver hair and amber eyes, dressed in matching blue uniforms. They walked up to your cell with a sense of authority, their expressions stern and unyielding.

The one with the eyepatch, Caroline, glared at you. "Inmate, you are in the Velvet Room. Cease your futile struggle."

You scowled, still tugging at the chains. It was one thing to see Joker experience this but it was another to experience it yourself. You hated being chained up, it simply made you feel powerless "Inmate? What are you talking about? Let me go!"

Caroline's eyes narrowed, and in a swift motion, she reached through the bars and grabbed your throat, her grip tight and cold as she forcibly choked you out. "You dare retort back, Inmate? Know your place!"

You gasped, struggling to breathe as her grip tightened. Justine, the other girl, placed a hand on her sister's arm. "Calm down, Caroline. He is unruly, but we must follow protocol."

Caroline released you with a shove, and you coughed, rubbing your throat. Justine looked at you with a mixture of disdain and curiosity. "Prostrate properly, prisoner, so that Master Igor can address you."

Reluctantly, you lowered yourself to your knees, the chains clinking with the movement. As you did, you noticed a figure seated at a desk in the center of the room. He was a peculiar but familiar looking man with an impossibly long nose and piercing eyes, dressed in a sharp suit.

"Welcome to the Velvet Room, young Gamer." the man said, his voice smooth and enigmatic. "I am Igor. This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter."

You looked up, confusion etched on your face. "What do you want from me?"

"It is interesting to see you here, after all we've had no such contract as of yet but even still." Igor's eyes gleamed with a knowing light. "You have been chosen, Peter Parker, to embark on a journey that will test your will and reshape your destiny. The chains that bind you are not just physical, but symbolic of the trials you must face."

Caroline scoffed. "This Inmate has much to learn, Master Igor. He lacks the discipline required."

Justine nodded. "Indeed. But through trials and perseverance, he may yet find his true strength."

Igor steepled his fingers, his gaze never leaving yours. "Peter, the path ahead is fraught with challenges, but with the right guidance, you may overcome them. Embrace your fate and rise above the chains that bind you and the ruins that lurk ahead."

Igor leaned forward, his long fingers clasped together. "Now, let's make this all official, shall we?" He gestured towards a contract that had appeared on the table in front of him, seemingly out of thin air.

You looked at the contract, a mixture of apprehension and determination in your eyes. Gritting your teeth, you nodded. "Fine. Let's do this."

Igor smiled, an enigmatic glint in his eye. "Very well." He turned to the twin wardens. "Caroline, Justine, bring him to me."

,Caroline unlocked the cell door, and Justine helped you to your feet, guiding you forward. The chains around your neck and legs clinked with each step, but the twins steadied you as you approached Igor's desk. With a quill in hand, you glanced at the contract, its contents written in an archaic script.

Taking a deep breath, you signed your name at the bottom. As soon as the ink dried, the contract vanished, leaving only the faintest wisp of smoke.

Igor's eyes bore into yours. "Know this, Peter Parker. Your fate is perilous, and your path will be one of ruin and tragedy. Are you sure of your choice?"

A shiver ran down your spine at his words. "I'm afraid," you admitted, your voice steady despite the fear gnawing at you. "But I choose to keep moving. I want to live my life to the fullest, no matter what it takes."

Igor's smile widened, almost approvingly. "Courage in the face of the unknown. Very well, Peter. Embrace your journey, and remember, the Velvet Room will always be here, watching over your fate."

The room seemed to pulse with a renewed energy, and the chains binding you dissolved into nothingness. Caroline and Justine stepped back, their stern expressions softening slightly.

"Your resolve has been acknowledged," Justine said.

"Prove yourself worthy, Inmate," Caroline added, though her tone was less harsh than before.

With a final nod from Igor, the room began to fade, the blue hues dissolving into darkness. You felt a sense of weightlessness as you drifted away from the Velvet Room, Igor's parting words echoing in your mind.

"Remember, Peter Parker, the power of the persona lies within you. Harness it well."

Your vision cleared, and you found yourself back in the alleyway, Flash standing over you with a concerned look on his face.

"Peter, are you okay? You just collapsed out of nowhere!" Flash exclaimed, helping you to your feet.

You took a deep breath, the memories of the Velvet Room still fresh in your mind. "Yeah, I think so. Let's see what's up with the school."

You and Flash entered the castle, the heavy wooden doors creaking as they swung open. As you stepped inside, you were both taken aback by the sheer beauty and intricacy of the interior. Elaborate tapestries adorned the walls, chandeliers hung from the high ceilings, and the floor was a mosaic of colorful tiles that seemed to shimmer in the dim light.

"This place is incredible," Flash muttered, his eyes wide with amazement. "It's way bigger on the inside."

You nodded, equally awestruck. "Yeah, it's like something out of a fairy tale."

The two of you wandered through the grand hall, admiring the opulent decorations and the vastness of the space. It was easy to forget the strangeness of how you had arrived here, lost in the marvel of the castle's beauty.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the hall, harsh and commanding. "What are these mongrels doing in my domain?"

You turned to see a man striding toward you. He was completely naked except for a choker around his neck and a bathrobe draped over his shoulders like a cape. His eyes shone with a metallic gold hue, and a crown rested precariously on his head.

"Who are you?" you asked, trying to hide your confusion and unease.

The man sneered, pointing a finger at you and Flash. "I am your king, and you are trespassing. Knights, execute these intruders!"

At his command, a group of armored knights appeared, their weapons drawn. Flash clenched his fists, his anger palpable.

"I knew it would be a scumbag like you behind all this!" Flash yelled. "You're always hiding behind your power, Kamoshida!"

The strange man, Kamoshida, laughed cruelly. "Pathetic, Flash. You think you can challenge me? You're nothing but a failure. Kicked out of the sports team, a worthless, motherless delinquent."

Flash's face contorted with rage. "Shut up! I'm not worthless!"

With a roar, Flash lunged at Kamoshida, but the knights intercepted him, slamming him to the ground. You rushed to help, but another knight grabbed you, twisting your arms behind your back.

"Let him go!" you shouted, struggling against the knight's grip.

Kamoshida sneered down at you both. "How amusing. You thought you could defy me? Take them to the dungeons. Let them rot."

The knights dragged you and Flash through the castle, your protests falling on deaf ears. As you were pulled along, you caught a glimpse of a small cat in the distance, its eyes watching you intently. But before you could process what you had seen, you were thrown into a dark, damp cell, the heavy door slamming shut behind you.

Flash pounded on the door, his frustration and anger echoing through the small space. "Dammit! What the hell did we get ourselves into?"

You leaned against the wall, trying to make sense of everything that had happened. "I don't know, but we need to find a way out of here."

From the shadows, you heard a soft voice. "I might be able to help with that."

You and Flash turned to see the same cat from before, now sitting calmly in the corner of the cell. "Who... what are you?" Flash asked, bewildered.

The cat's eyes glinted in the dim light. "I'm Morgana, and if you want to escape, you'll need to listen carefully."

The strangeness of the situation only deepened, sure you already knew a bit about him since you've played some part of the original persona game but seeing him in real life in person was trippy as hell but with no other options, you nodded. "Okay, Morgana. What do we need to do?"

The Players

In a dimension beyond the reach of mortal comprehension, two figures lounged in an opulent room filled with the ethereal glow of otherworldly energy. Shiro, the first gamer and the mastermind behind the intricate world you were navigating, sat comfortably in a high-backed chair, his expression a mix of amusement and detachment. Kuro, the second player, reclined lazily on a velvet chaise, his eyes half-lidded as he observed the unfolding events.

Kuro glanced at Shiro, curiosity piqued. "Why did you go all out with this world, Shiro? You didn't have to make it so intricate."

Shiro shrugged, a sly grin forming on his lips. "I pity the kid, I guess. Wanted to give him a fair shot at something interesting."

Kuro chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Pity, huh? That doesn't sound like you." He paused, his tone growing more serious. "What about Lucille? Your daughter. She's the one who killed him in his original world, right?"

Shiro's grin turned sharper. "Yeah. Wasn't she the one you were fooling around with, Kuro? How'd she manage to pull one over on you?"

Kuro's lazy grin didn't falter. "I didn't know her plans. Maybe I rewarded her too much for her 'diligent' services. Guess she took advantage of my kindness."

Shiro snorted, his eyes gleaming with mirth. "You were just thinking with your third leg."

Kuro's grin faded as he glared at Shiro. "And you? If you had trained her properly and been a decent father, she wouldn't be throwing these tantrums."

Shiro shrugged, unphased by the accusation. "I thought the second punishment I gave her stuck. Sealing her powers and stranding her in an unknown world should have humbled her."

Kuro quirked an eyebrow, his tone sharp. "It made her hate you even more."

Shiro's smile didn't waver. "Good. Maybe that was the point. Though I didn't expect her to fall in love with someone there."

Kuro raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised. "Love? Didn't see that coming."

Shiro leaned back, a contemplative look crossing his face. "Neither did I. But it makes things more... dynamic."

The room fell into a comfortable silence, the two of them watching the unfolding events of your journey with keen interest. The air was thick with the weight of their omnipotence, each movement and decision you made scrutinized under their watchful eyes.

Shiro's eyes sparkled with amusement and anticipation. "We'll see. The game is just beginning."

Author Notes: That concludes the first chapter of the story, what do you guys think? I guess you didn't expect me to pour out nearly 8k words for the first chapter right? Well get used to shit like this, this story is something I've been cooking for some time. And yes this is, in my opinion tied and connected to the works of Dark Wolf Shiro and the wider Gamer Omniverse. I indeed asked for his permission on this. as for the setting of the story? It's a massive crossover of multiple worlds blended together. Persona, Marvel and DC universe,

Jujutsu Kaisen, Highschool DxD, The Nasuverse, Harry Potter and so on. Yeah it's massive. The story will stick more closely with the Persona mechanics and story before branching out.

Anyways goodbye and see you next time. please like and comment on the chapter and stick around for more. The Gamer system will appear next chapter so stay tuned.
