Holy Britannian Empire, Germany, Avalon 3 days after the battle of Strasbourg
"So that's the situation," Lelouch says to Suzaku through the computer screen. He had just informed Suzaku about Leila Malcal and her Geass contract that she had with C.C. which of course understandably made the young Japanese man headache.
"Give me a break, just when things couldn't get any more stressful," Suzaku groaned annoyed.
"There is nothing we can do now, right now all we can do is proceed with out war with the E.U." The Raven haired Emperor said tiredly. He hadn't had enough rest or sleep for the past three days ever since the battle Strasbourg. As every moment his forces move the E.U. ambushes them in every turn. But with the information of Leila Mlcal possessing a Geass has gotten the young ruler on alert. With all that is going on it still was his biggest concern of all. A wildcard Geass holder like her brings more issues than anything. He will need to make a contingency plan for her, like he had just thought, she is wildcard. And a dangerous one at that.
"Its not about Malcal, that's stressing me out, its something else." Suzaku corrected him. Lelouch raised a brow, wondering what had happened after Suzaku and him separated.
"What happened?" Lelouch asked.
Suzaku hesitates for a moment as if he was trying to figure out how to explain what happened. "A few hours ago one of my squads that went MIA, have now been confirmed killed," Suzaku starts. "The thing that's got us in a haze, was how they were killed."
Lelouch face goes confused as to what he meant.
"More specifically their Knightmares. It was unusual," Suzaku highlights, which then grabbed Lelouch's full attention.
"Unusual? What do you mean by that?"
"Looking at the damage, two of the Knightmares looked they were crushed by giant hands. Second those same Knightmares looked liked they were thrown from a distance at two other Knightmares. Then there was the Gloucester... it... it was sliced in half from the the top." Suzaku described as much as he could, as he still recovered from tye shock.
When the search first reported it he thought they were exaggerating, yet when he saw it himself he had no choice but to believe in what he just witnessed the damages that the Knightmares had sustained seemed so human yet at tye same time it didn't. It was something that he hadn't seen before and there was no other way to describe his reaction to it. He wondered just what could have done such a thing. The investigation concluded that it was indeed fighting between Knightmares but of a different design. But Suzaku just couldn't believe, he wanted to deny such a thing as there was no way a Knightmare could have done that, let alone anything manmade. There was nothing on Earth that could crush or throw Knightmares as if they were paper. Just no way.
Lelouch eyes widened by this new information. If what Suzaku said was true, then there is a group out there with Knightmares capable of destroying Knightmares with ease. If that's the case then he has no choice but to change his plans. Originally he was planning on having him and Suzaku split their forces with Lelouch heading North to Berlin and having Suzaku handle Southern Germany. Now he has no choice but delay his plans due to this setback. He can't die just yet, he made a promise to the world, a declaration. That he will build a world, gentle world. No matter the cost, as long as he lives he will make sure to fulfill that promise. Lelouch face grows intense as he now has to deal with an unknown hindrance to his campaign.
Suzaku noticed the tense look on his face, he could tell that his best friend was now having to rethink his entire plan for the war against the E.U. Not that he couldn't blame, even he would've done the same thing. "So what's our next course if action?"
Lelouch doesn't respond, as he tries to what to do next. He thought long and hard, yet nothing. Right now his Knights of the Round were deployed in Africa for god knows how long, and Marrybell will take at least two weeks at best to finish up in Spain. All his other ace pilots are all stationed in Japan in case of an attack from the U.F.N.
After a while the Emperor could only let of sigh on exhaustion. "For now, maintain course and head for Stuggart. But this time take precautions, there is a chance this unknown group could still be out there."
"Already done, I already informed the situation to the rest of my Order," Suzaku says, getting a smirk from his friend.
"Your Order, huh?" Lelouch teased.
The young Japanese man flushed in embarrassment. "What?" he said sheepishly.
"Just a few hours ago, you weren't so sure if leading an regiment. Yet now you refer to them as your Order," Lelouch teasingly says, making Knight of Zero even more embarrassed.
"Well... uhh... let's just say... I'm getting the... hang of it," Suzaku sheepishly says as he tries to cover his face.
Lelouch let out a small laugh of amusement. "There is nothing embarrassing about that Suzaku, in fact you should feel proud."
"That's the thing, I do," Suzaku says as he calms down. "I do feel proud and most importantly, confident. I felt more confident in myself more than ever in my life. They followed me into battle, my people. Even though I betrayed them, they still followed me." A small smile appeared on the Knights face. At that moment he was confident, confident that he can atone for everything he had done to his people and to countless people. Though not everyone won't forgive, at least he can do the right thing.
Lelouch meanwhile could only rub the back of his neck. "Oh right about that. Sorry," Lelouch sheepishly says, which confused the young knight. "To be honest I just wanted to rub one back at you for all the stuff you pulled before. BUT! I made sure they wouldn't pull anything of the sort," Lelouch then proceeded bow his head and clap his hands together. "I humbly apologise for my stunt, my dear friend!"
Lelouch hoped, just for a moment, that Suzaku would accept his apology and put it all behind them. After all it's Suzaku. Strangely instead of Suzaku accepting his apology, he heard a laugh. Lelouch peeked his head up to see what had happened. Yet what he has seen was truly terrifying. Suzaku was laughing in a very terrifying manner, which honestly freaked Lelouch.
"Oh Lelouch, when I catch you... WHEN I CATCH YOU!" The Knight yelled, causing the Emperor to flip out his chair and on to the floor. Suzaku then proceeded to point a finger at him which then he made a movement slowly over his throat."You're dead."
The link between Suzaku and Lelouch was then cut off.
Lelouch meanwhile on the floor could only look stunned of what had just happened, but at the same time he was terrified! Since when did Suzaku of all people started to laugh like him, let alone become terrifying.
It was at that moment, Lelouch knew. He fucked up.
"Well... shit."
Holy Britannian Empire, Homeland, Pendragon
While her lover and the rest of his followers were away from Pendragon, Catherine was managing the Homeland's internal affairs. While she isn't tye Empress yet, she still had a part to play in Lelouch's plan of world domination. Catherine had some knowledge on how play politics during her lifetime, being thought by the greats such as Benjamin Franklin, Frederick the great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Claire li Britannia, Emperor Puyi, and so on. But that was not her role in his plan, instead it was to rebuild the Geass Order. Yes, while as Zero he had massacred that Organisation due to the death of Shirley, it has become apparent that they are very much required for their future plans. Though it will take time to rebuild. Which is why they will come in play.
Pluton.
Deep within the chambers of Pendragon, Catherine, adorned in her black dress, she walked down a path with a pair of Royal guards behind her. They approached a door guarded by two members of the Royal Guard. The two bowed before opening the door. The door opened to a room where multiple jail cells were shown with members of Pluton being imprisoned. Catherine took a look around, noticing how there were only a few of them.
"Is this all of them?" Catherine asked the guard next to her.
"Yes Mistress, they were the only ones we managed to capture," the guard confirms.
"The rest?" she asks again.
"Escaped, most likely having gone rogue," The Guard says.
"Rogue?" Catherine raised a brow.
"They are being led by Colonel Madd, mistress," The guard says. Catherine could only clench her jaw.
"Of course that Psychopath," Catherine hissed at that name. Back when the Geass Order was still under V.V.'s control, she had met Madd by chance. His research was something that she despised and was disgusted by, mostly because of the conditions his test subjects went through.
"Inform General Montgomery to issue an nationwide manhunt for Madd. If that madman is out loose, who knows what he will do," Catherine ordered the guard.
"At your command, mistress," The guard bowed, as he hurriedly rush to inform the issue.
Catherine turned back to the captured Pluton soldiers. All of them looked at her, as if they know who she is. Considering how old they looked, its fair to assume they were around when she was once in charge of the order. Well not that's gonna change anything, after all they swore loyalty to Britannia. More specifically to Charles zi Britannia, naturally they would follow his ideology of Social Darwinism as well. But there is one thing that can make them change their loyalty.
"Release them," Catherine ordered the guard.
"Are you sure, mistress?" The guard asks worried. "These people are dangerous."
"I'm well aware of that," Catherine told him, she knew ververy well how skilled Pluton was and dangerous and ruthless they are. Even if can't die, she also doesn't want to let loose a bunch crazy skilled warriors. "Bring in extra soldiers, just to be safe."
"Yes mistress," the guard obliged as he contacts additional soldiers.
Later a platoon worth of guards arrive inside the prison complex. The guards all point their weapons at the prisoners, as one of them unlocks the cell doors. The doors unlock and the prisoners came out slowly. As they all come out of their cell, the guards all aim their weapons in case they try to attack. The captured Pluton soldiers then come to a stop, knowing that going any further will result in death.
Catherine looked at them, she saw how they all glared at her suspiciously. After all she can't blame them, she was there when Lelouch had ordered the massacre of the Geass order. They must have some questions as to why she was now working for Britannia, or why betray them in the first place.
"Lady C.C... why?" One of them spoke up. "Why did you massacre the Order!?"
"Lady C.C. please tell us what happened, did Zero force you to?" One of them asked.
"Lady C.C. just please tell us what is going on!?"
As they all asked her various questions, she can't help but feel guilty. She knew that the Order had respected her, even after she left years ago to a degree. After all, her time as director was one if not the only times where they had lived in peace. She after all, avoided the order from the getting involved in the Colonial wars a hundred years aho, and have kept many Geass users and Code bearers safe from the outside world. Teaching and guiding them of the responsibilities and power of which Geass holds. She was called a teacher by mnat people in the order... however she was from what they had thought of her.
"Damn mutts, restrain yourselves in front the Emperor's betrothed!" One of the Guards yelled as he aim his weapon at them.
The Pluton members take a step back, but Catherine held out hand. signalling the guard to stand down, to which he obeyed.
Catherine stepped forward a bit, she looked at them for bit, before asking. "Who is your leader?"
They didn't respond, instead they discussed among themselves. She took note on it, from what it appeared there seemed to be a few people among them who qualify for leadership. From what she could gather about Pluton, they were pretty decentralised as far as she can tell, V.V. and Charles of course were of course the top leaders, aside from that, there was no indefinite command structure. So they tend to do these their own way.
After reaching to a conclusion, someone came forward. A middle aged man light blue haired man came forward. "I am, lady C.C." The man says.
Small yet cheshire like smile appeared on Catherine's face. "Its quite a while, Var Lyonnet."
"So you do remember me after all, my lady," Tye man said, glad to know that the former director remembered him.
"You left quite an impression on me, its not easy to forget someone like yourself," Catherine said.
Var Lyonnet, one of the non Geass users in tye order. He was brought in by the order during the emblem of blood, where he had discovered them by accident. Instead of killing him, they decided to bring him in and train him as one of their enforcers. Catherine remembered how skilled he was at fighting Geass users, his instincts a d intuition allowed him to be one of their most skilled enforcer. killing more Geass users than they could ever have in a year.
"Lady C.C. please tell us what is going-"
"First, its Catherine, lady Catherine," she first clarified leading to many of the Pluton members confused, including Var Lyonnet. "Second, there has been a change in management," she stated, leading to more confusion.
"What?"
"Catherine? is that her real name?"
"Seems like it,"
"Change in management?
"I'm even more lost than before,"
Var trying to process what she had just said, quickly composed himself. "What do you by that, lady C- lady Catherine,"
"From now on, Pluton will be reorganised, to serve me and my betrothed along with our retainers," Catherine words took them by shock. Betrothed!? Just what was going on.
"By your betrothed, do you mean... Emperor Lelouch?" Var asked. To which she nodded.
"What!?"
"But she is Immortal, so wouldn't that cause a lot of problems?"
"Maybe she has a thing for black haired dudes?"
"Wait, is this even legal?"
"Enough!" Catherine yelled, silencing everyone.
"While I had participated in the massacre of our Order, there was no other choice. After all V.V. left is with no choice," Catherine says. She had no intention of revealing the true identity of Zero to them whatsoever. After all, they are loyal to Britannia, and if they learn that Lelouch was the man who rebelled against the Empire, well that would cause a lot of problems.
"Yes that's right, you were part of the massacre," Var said as focused his eyes on her.
"While I took no pleasure in the killing of my former compatriots, I assure you I now serve Britannia," Catherine assured.
"You mean Lelouch Vi Britannia, right?" Var corrected her.
Catherine could only grin at that, "Well I suppose you are correct on that as well," she says shrugging. "After all I understand if you are dissatisfied with my lover, then I wholeheartedly understand. After all you all swore loyalty to Charles zi Britannia, so its natural-"
"Lady Catherine, who said we were loyal to Charles Zi Britannia," Var says, catching the lime haired women by surprise. "We never swore loyalty to that cretin whatsoever, we serve the Empire and the Geass order. It doesn't matter who sits on the throne, we will fight for Britannia."
That took her by surprise, Catherine was sure that they were going to resist. Considering how they obeyed their orders like obedient dogs. Oh well this just makes things more easier for her. Though she had to admit she was a little disappointed, she was hoping for some sort of a fight.
"Well if that's the case, you wouldn't mind serving his majesty would you?" Catherine asked, though she knew what their would be anyways.
"Yes, we swear to serve his majesty the Emperor," Var declared, as the rest of the Pluton soldiers lined up.
"We swear loyalty to Lelouch vi Britannia," they cheered.
Catherine looked on satisfied, she raised her hand, signalling the guards to lower their weapons. "Then for starters, Pluton will be reorganised at once and renamed, and under my command," Catherine declared, as the former Pluton soldiers looked on with curiosity.
"And what will we be renamed to, my lady?" Var asked.
A devilish cheshire like smirk was formed on her face as she was about to answer. "Shadow Garden."
Holy Britannian Empire, Area 11, Tokyo
Kallen had been in Tokyo for the past three days. She had been trying to find the hospital of where her mother is being admitted at. It had been a year since she and her mother had seen each other ever since the refrain bust. She hadn't been able to visit, due to some... circumstances. She had tried checking the temporary medical tents that had been set up, but nothing yet. After the destruction of the Tokyo settlement most civil services had been shut down due to most of general facilities being destroyed. So there was no way to check where her mother was staying at.
Right now she was passing through the Ghettos, where most of the refugees were staying at. Many Britannians also were seen, as space was limited in what's left of the settlement. Due to the lack of necessary medical supplies, there had been many sick people on the streets, particularly children. Kallen didn't what else to do. She felt terrible, since it was because of her and the black knights most of the people are currently in this situation. Even though she knew many people will get caught in the crossfire, she still couldn't help it.
Unable to keep watch of the suffering of the people on the streets, Kallen walks to an alleyway. Passing through the alleyway, she noticed how a couple of men whad begun following her. Realising the situation, she made no sudden moves and walked on. As she approached a crossroad, Kallen decided which way she should amake a run for. Most likely there was a chance that there were more if them through one of these pathways. Either way she had to decide quick, as she noticed the the group of men getting anxious.
"...you know what... screw it," Kallen instantly makes a run as she takes the left path. The men then began chasing after her as soon as she did.
Kallen tried her best to evade them as best as she could, but to to no avail. Realising how narrow the alleyway was. She tried slowing them down, dropping boxes, trash bags and anything else she could find. As she kept running, she soon came across a dead end. She looked around to see if there was anywhere she could escape to. Unfortunately for Kallen, she couldn't.
"Nowhere to run cutie," one of the men says as he catched up to her along with the rest of his friends.
Kallen scoffed at their pathetic actions. "Kind of rude to follow someone y'know," Kallen says, analysing the area. Trying to figure out which one she should take on first.
One of the men laughs. "Your fault for entering an alleyway. You only have yourself to blame," the man taunts, which got on the redheads nerves.
"Come on sweetheart, we only want to have some fun," another man says creepily as he licks his lips. Which disgusted and freaked the teenage pilot.
"Well, this is what I get for getting in an alley, way to go Kallen," Kallen couldn't help but really regret her decision at that point.
The men slowly approached her, Kallen was about to get ready to fight them. Just as they were about to pounce on Kallen, a pipe suddenly hit on one of the men, knocking him unconscious. Before anyone could figure where the pipe had come from, one of them got kicked in the guts by a guy.
"What the-" before the man could say anything, Kallen kicks him in the groin, where the man felt incredible pain as he comically fell to the ground holding his groin.
"Who the heck are you, brat!?" One of the demands as he takes out a gun pointing it at the mysterious saviour. The guy looked to he around the same age as the redhead, he had black hair and light blue eyes.
Kallen after seeing her saviour, noticed that he was wearing a Ashford Academy uniform.
Instead of answering the man, the boy instead charged at the him. The man taken aback by the sudden charge fired his gun, missing all his shots. Kallen immediately grabbed hold of the man hand and directed it at the sky. The boy then punches the man right in the chest, knocking him unconscious. After he was knocked out, Kallen immediately took the gun away fron him and put it in her bag. Both she and the boy looked at each other and then looked at the scene of unconscious bodies, then looked back each other again.
"Wanna get out of here before they wake up?" The boy asks in the most nonchalant way possible.
"You don't have to ask me twice," Kallen says as she began rushing back out of the alley. The boy followed suit.
After leaving the alleyway the two of them quickly head to the edge to the Tokyo settlement. Both of them were panting due to all the running they did as they reached the settlement. Kallen sat down on one of the benches trying to catch some air. Same with the boy who just sat near the railings.
"Hey, thanks for saving me out there," Kallen thanked him.
"No problem, it's the least I could do. I saw those guys following you while I was passing by, I figured they must've been up to no good," he says. Getting a chuckle from the redhead.
"Thank goodness for me then," Kallen laughs it off. "What's your name then?" Kallen asks.
"The name's Mario, Mario Garfield. You?" He also asked.
"Kallen, Kallen Kozuki," Kallen replied. The young boy Mario, nearly jumped from the ground as soon as he heard her name.
"Y-you, you, you are Kallen Kozuki!? The Kallen Kozuki!?" He shouts, as he had just met one of the world's most famous teenage girl.
Kallen smiled awkwardly, finding his reaction a little overwhelming. "Yep thats me, the infamous ace pilot of Black Knights. Guess I'm famous even in Britannian society, huh?"
Mario could only look at her flabbergasted. "You have no idea, one of the youngest ace pilots in the world, able to rival even the famous White Reaper, Suzaku Kururugi. Who hasn't heard of you," Mario continued to remark.
Kallen had to admit, it would be strange if someone hasn't heard of her. What is surprising is how she is pretty famous among Britannian society as well. Then again, if word had gotten out that a teenager was one of tte worlds top aces, even she would talk about her.
"Hey, you're from Ashford Academy right?" Kallen asks, wanting to confirm if he really is from Ashford.
"Can you tell from the uniform,"Mario says grabbing the school insignia fron his shirt.
"Yeah, just wanted to check," Kallen says, as she gets up. "Say, mind showing me the way to Ashford, its been an year since I was back in the settlement."
"Sure," Mario agreed to, getting up. "After all it would be very ungentlemen of me not to," Mario teased, which caused Kallen to elbow his shin.
"Show off. Come on lead the way," Kallen tells him to as she begins walking off.
Mario still trying to recover from the pain, immediately tries to catch up. "Hey wait up!"
Ashford Academy
Two months have passed since the destruction of the Tokyo settlement. Tokyo has yet to recover as currently the Homeland has it's hands full with the Nobility uprisings and the war with the E.U. Ashford Academy is still being used as resettlement camp, until the situation recovers. Many of the Britannians have already left for Homeland as they couldn't bear with the situation as it is. Some decided to stay as they no other way of getting back.
Inside one of the classrooms, which had been turned into a makeship recovery room. A young Britannian man with long black hair could be seen waking up. As soon as he woke up he tries to figure out where he was.
"Where am I?" Trying to find out where is, he tries to get up from his bed, but fails as he had no strength to so.
"You are in Ashford Academy, sir," a woman's voice tells him. The man turns around to see who it was, only to see a Japanese woman next to him. "You finally woke up sir," the woman says.
"How long was I asleep?" The man asks, wondering how long it has been.
"From what it looks like, almost two months," the woman revealed, which shocked the man.
"That long!? What happened that could cause me to be asleep for so long?" He asked, wondering how he was out fpr so long.
"Oh don't you know?" The woman asks a little surprised.
"Don't know what?"
"You were knocked because, you were near the blast radius of the F.L.E.I.J.A," she revealed, whoch confused the man even man.
"F.L.E.I.J.A? What are you talking about?" The man asks confused for a moment. But then at that moment, he remembered something.
"I'm not surprised you don't remember such a thing," the woman says, understanding his confusion. "I'm sure the military wasn't aware of the FLEIJA's existence."
"Yeah... wait, how did you know I am from the military?" He asked.
"Well when they brought you in, you were were wearing military jumpsuit," the woman tells him, which cleared everything.
"Oh, my apologies ma'am I wasn't aware," He apologised.
The woman could only chuckle. "Its fine, its only natural that you asked."
The man rubbed the back his neck. "I suppose that's true."
"Say, would you perhaps tell me your name?" The woman asked, wanting to know the name of her fellow roommate.
"Gilbert, Gilbert G.P Guilford," He revealed his name. The woman, recognising the name, immediately gets embarrassed.
"Oh my, lord Guilford, I couldn't recognise it was you," the woman says, little frightened. "Please forgive me for my rudeness," she tries to apologise. Which only made him embarrassed as well.
"Please, it's alright. I don't really mind it," Guilford assured. Trying to calm her down.
"Really?" She asked, a little skeptic.
"Yes, I really don't mind. This is actually the first Pleasant conversation I had with someone in a while," Guilford reveals.
"Really, you don't talk with other people?" she asked, finding it quite peculiar.
"No, I do. But its just mostly about work and the military," Guilford clarifies.
"Then I'm honoured to have given you such a time then, my lord," the woman then replied. Which got a laugh from Guilford.
"Since I told you my name, what is yours miss?" Guilford asked, wanting to his roommate's name as well.
"Oh its Akari, Akari Kozuki."
Holy Britannian Empire, Congo, Kinhasa
"You're late," Elijah says, as the one eyed woman gets in the room.
"Cut me some slack, I was on a call with my angels," Margaret told him her excuse.
"Right before our strategy meeting?" Elijah query, getting tired of her antics.
She shrugs, as she sat down. "Who cares, besides what's the point of a strategy meeting, we're gonna win anyway," Margaret asks.
It had been only just a day since she and Elijah had joined their forces. She had left half of the North African army in charge of the Northern Congo, while she the half came with her. In a few hours the two of them had taken over Kinshasa, the Congo Capital. Right now, all their forces are resting up and waiting to resupply as the landings took a toll on their forces, along with the battle for Kinshasa. The two of them were currently taking residence in Margaret's G1 base, as Elijah's was getting repaired. Elijah called Margaret and other commanders to the bridge, to discuss their next strategy.
"Yes, but this is where things become difficult," Elijah says.
Soon the rest of the commanders had arrived and had taken their seats. Elijah turns on the table screen. Showing a tropical map of the Congo along with coloured dots, representing both the E.U. and Britannia's forces.
"As you all know, nearly half of the Congo is made up of jungle, making it impossible for any sort Knightmare combat," Elijah began, showing where the E.U.'s are currently located from their information on the map. "This will lead us to a significant disadvantage, as we don't know the area as well as the E.U. The E.U. likely taken advantage of this and has set themselves up for guerilla warfare."
"So what's the big deal? Can we just burn tye entire jungle down?" Margaret asks, seeing no problem with the idea.
Elijah could only twitch his eye to his friend's stupidity. "Well Margaret, there is something called the FUCKING ECOSYSTEM," he yelled at her which caused the woman to fall from her seat, and the rest of commanders could only held their arms. "We can't simply destroy a damn jungle, it will ultimately cause a disturbance in the ecosystem causing insurmountable damge to the planet?!"
Margaret learning her lesson, just sits back on her chair, deciding not to speak up again.
Elijah seeing that his friend has learned her lesson, lets out a cough to snap everyone back to attention. "Alright any suggestions?"
The commanders whom immediately recovered from initial shock, quickly started to think of ideas to fight tye E.U. forces in the jungle. They knew fully well, that Knightmares will be useless in the jungle terrain, due to the dense trees. It will undoubtedly be a obstacle for them to overcome, as for the past years, the Britannian military has been overly reliant on its Knightmares for all of its battles. This was gonna take a while for them, as they had to take knowledge from back when they were at the Academy and from knon historical records.
Elijah meanwhile could only look on with disappointment. To think the Britannian military had fallen this low was something unexpected. He thought for sure that some of the young officers knew at least some degree of conventional warfare, yet here it is. The over reliance of Knightmares has undoubtedly left them few inexperienced officers. Nonetheless he hoped that they would at least some up with something.
Time passed and the officers were still in discussion. Margaret yawned getting bored of waiting.
"My idea is still on the table y'know," Margaret whispered to Elijah.
Elijah sighs annoyed. "Be patient Margaret, just wait a bit longer," he whispered back, hoping that they would make an strategy.
"My lord," one of the officers spoke up, which relieved the Knight of One. "Its may sound old fashioned, but what if try to win over the natives instead of fighting the E.U. head on?" The officer says, which gained interested look on Elijah and surprisingly from the Knight of two as well.
"Explain in detail, commander," the Knight of One asks.
"Ah right," the officer stood up, as he began. "As we are aware, most of Africa, save for Area 7 has been mostly ruled by E.U. as colonies instead of as fully fledged states. Though the E.U. has always preached about its freedom of speech and equality, the same can't be said for the non-Europeans in the colonies."
Elijah nodded along. What the officer was saying was all true, even though the E.U. has preached about its equality and freedom of speech to the world, the same couldn't be said for its colonies. For years they had exploited the natural resources of Africa to fuel their ever growing industrial might. They condemn Britannia for its racism, yet its okay if they do it. Hypocrisy at its finest.
"If it were during the late Emperor Charles zi Britannia's time, the idea itself would have preposterous. But ever since his majesty Emperor Lelouch proclamation, many people including the former numbers have all voiced their support for Britannia. We can use the locals knowledge of the region and their information as a way to find the E.U. forces positions," the officer concluded.
Everyone in the room was astonished including the Knights of the Round. They had to admit, it could work, with Lelouch's declaration to create a gentle world, many people would gladly help them. However there was one problem.
"Its a good idea officer, I'll admit. However there is one flaw to it," Elijah says, which had gained everyone's attention. "We don't know for sure if they will accept us," Elijah says. "Listen, as you just said, the natives of Africa aren't exactly treated well by the E.U. they likely be hostile towards any foreigners."
"Yes, but its worth a shot. After all these people will be part of the Empire after this war ends. And as I said, his majesties proclamation is something that would looking appealing to the locals. We can try winning them over, by liberating small villages and towns where the E.U. forces are being stationed, and when our forces come and free them from European rule, they will slowly begin to accept that we really are here in good faith," the officer defends. He wanted to believe this could work, not because he wanted to get credit for coming up with the idea but because he believed in the world that Emperor Lelouch wanted to create.
Elijah stared at the officer, seeing his eyes filled with hope and determination. It was idealistic to think that after freeing a few villages and towns the locals will suddenly be on Britannia's side, considering their history. But he did agree on thing, his nephew did promise a gentle world. A much more idealistic idea, but if they want to achieve such a world, guess they might as well do it.
"Alright officer, we'll go along with your plan," Elijah agreed with the man, which relieved the officer. "We'll go forward with your little hearts and minds campaign, we'll start by freeing nearby villages. The operation will commence next week, have every unit prepared by then. Understood!" Elijah commands, which prompted everyone (excluding the Knight of Two) to rise from their seats, placing their fist on their chest.
"Yes my lord!" They all responded in understadment.
"Then you are all dismissed," he dismissed them, prompting them all to leave the room.
As all the officers left the room, Elijah called out for the officer who came up with the idea. "Say what's your name officer?"
"Oh, John F. Kennedy, my lord," he answered.
"Good job, officer. You'll make a fine officer in his majesty's world," Elijah compliments, getting the officer flustered.
"I'm flattered my lord, I'm just doing my part," John says before leaving the room.
"Good kid, I take it you like him?" Margaret queried, with a grin on her face.
"He just reminded of myself when I was young," Elijah replies.
Margaret could only snort at his comment woth a playful smile on her face. "Now then, should we inform the our great Emperor about our plan?" Margaret inquired, already knowing the answer.
"We'll inform him later, for now let's get some rest," Elijah says yawning. Margaret immediately rushed out the room and went straight to her quarters after hearing those words in just a blink of an eye.
Elijah swears that was first time Margaret ever ran with such reason. He groaned just thinking about it, but he will admit he did like her company. "I wonder how we became friends in the first place."
Area 24, Barcelona
Meanwhile in Barcelona, the Glinda Knights fleet of Caerleon ships can be seen hovering over the city. After the battle of Madrid, Toledo and Ocaña. The Glinda Knights made their way to Catalonia to quell the Catalon rebels. Marrybell used the same tactic she in Mardid on the Rebels. She geassed some of their soldiers and caused among themselves, which inevitably to lead to some collateral damage. Nonetheless the city survived and the people living were returning back.
Meanwhile in the Grandberry, the 88th princess and the leader of Glinda Knights, Marrybell mel Britannia had called for meeting with the high ranking member of the Knights. The situation was urgent as it was related to Geass, which the Emperor informed her of, along with the news of an unknown enemy.
"So we have are going to be joining the frontlines soon, is what you're saying," Oldrin says, after what her Best friend had just informed them of.
"We're more than capable of fighting the E.U. forces," Marrybell says bluntly. "Right now we need all the manpower at hand. The uprisings had led to many of our experienced officers and aces to desert. Its only logical that the Glinda Knights will called for this," Marrybell summarises, trying to make them understand.
"Especially with this Geass stuff, right?" Tink says, which got a nod from Marrybell.
"Yes, especially with Geass in the picture. We have no information regarding Leila Malcal's Geass whatsoever or if it has awakened yet. The Emperor doesn't want to take risks, so our deadline in Spain has changed. Instead of two weeks, we now have one week to resolve all conflicts here," the leader of the Glinda Knights announced. The announcement was received with groans of tiredness and in Leonhardt' case, objection (except for Johann Schwarzer, who had a neutral look on his face).
Marrybell sighs at their reactions (mostly Leonhardt's). "I don't make the rules Leon, if you want to complain, then send to the Emperor," Marrybell suggests, which quickly shut him up.
Sokkia groans frustrated. "Why does it have to get complicated all of a sudden, I swear wrinkles are starting to appear on my face ever since Emperor Lelouch ascended the throne," Sokkia says while rubbing both her cheeks.
Oldrin as well shared Sokkia's frustration, only it wasn't about wrinkles. "Look Marry, I know how important the Emperor's plans are, but can we at least have some time to breath," Oldrin said. Trying to persuade her to give them some off time. "We hardly had any time to rest since te Nobility uprisings, many of our soldiers are nearly sleep deprived and haven't had time to recuperate."
"I'm well aware of that, which is why the Grandberry will be heading first while the remainder of our forces remain in Spain until reserve forces from the Homeland arrive," Marrybell added. Which only made them even more frustrated.
"We are human too, y'know!" Sokkia yelled exaggeratingly as she cried comically. "We have rights like any soldier within the Glinda Knights," she says, clinging onto Oldrin.
Before Marrybell could make a comeback, Johann instead stepped up and reprimanded her.
"You call yourself a soldier of BRITANNIA!" He yelled, causing Sokkia to drop down on the floor. "Sokkia sherpa, y'knew full well what would happen when you joined the Glinda Knights. Though we are only a paramilitary group of Britannia, we are still soldiers of Britannia nonetheless! If we are called upon by the Emperor to join him in under any circumstances, we are to do as such. Do you understand?!" The General demanded.
Sokkia on her knees quickly answered. "Yes, General I completely understand. I will never make the same mistake again," she said. bowing down to fully complete her apology.
Everyone could only laugh at the sight. From an meeting about their new and stressful orders to a typical day at the Glinda Knights. Marrybell could only enjoy such moments, while she did take pleasure in killing terrorists and enemies of of Britannia, she also enjoyed these ever so small and yet unexpected moments. It was at these moments, where Marrybell could gain a little bit of Humanity. Over the past year they had spend together, she now thought of them all as her new family. They were a joy to be around. Marrybell let out a genuine smile.
Oldrin noticed the smile on her best friend's face. Seeing her happy, made her happy. Knowing that deep down, she was still the little girl she had met all those years ago. It made her happy to know that wass still a bit of that child is still in there.
"Alright that's enough now, contact all of our Glinda Knights members and tell them we're moving out," Marrybell ordered.
"Yes ma'am," Toto acknowledges as she gets up from her seat.
"Leon and Tink, you two will take the Billberry and Currant and head to Andalusia, there wipe out remaining E.U. forces," Marrybell ordered the two young men.
"Yes my lady," the two men stood up with their fists on their chest in acknowledgment.
"Oldrin and Sokkia, take the BlackBerry and the Aronia to Portugal and Galicia," Marrybell ordered the two women.
"Yes my lady," the two women also stood up with their fist on their chest in acknowledgment.
"Johann and I will stay with the Grandberry and the Mulberry, and remain here in western Spain," Marrybell adds, which got a nod from everyone in the room. "Now let's not waste time the, everyone." Marrybell heads toward the door, which everyone follows suit. "We got a deadline to meet."
Marrybell opens the door and leaves the room with everyone following right behind her in a super cool dramatic way.
Holy Britannian Empire, somewhere in the Duchy of Nevada
Nevada, a Duchy that contained nothing but endless amounts of desert. The Duchy produced about a majority of the Homeland's gold. It was also home to the gambling and casino haven, Las Vegas where many nobles occasionally spent most of their wealth. But there was another thing about Nevada that made it so valuable to the Homeland due to vast and barren desert. Because of its harsh climate, it was practically empty making it useful for the Britannian military to create military facilities and labs to test new weapons. Many of them of course had long been abandoned since the accession of Emperor Lelouch, as he cut off funding to most of these facilities.
Amongst one of these facilities, the remnants of Pluton had taken refuge there. A majority of Pluton's member that had escaped had all arrived at this facility, under the command of the crazy mad scientist, Colonel Madd. He was one of the key members of the Organisation, alongside Oiagros Zevon. With most of their leaders dead, they had no where left to go. Emperor Lelouch had declared that they were to be captured, for god knows why.
Deep inside the facility, the remaining Pluton members were gathered. The room looked to be a giant testing arena for Knightmares, as many old gen Knightmares from the Glasgow to the Vincent were seen in somewhat rundown conditions. All of them murmured amongst themselves as to what was going on and why tey were assembled in the room.
A while later, an bald head dark skin entered the room from the small lookout balcony in the room. He was a well built man wearing dark suit bearing the insignia of of the Geass order, along with what it appeared to be a pair of cybernetic red eyes. This was no doubt indeed, the mad scientist of the Geass Order. Colonel Madd.
Madd looked down upon the members, he puffed his chest, looking like he was about to begin make a speech.
"My dear Comrades," he began, gaining everyone's attention. "A great tragedy has been shattered upon us, two months ago our beloved director, V.V. and the Geass Order was destroyed by the notorious criminal Zero!" Everyone one in the room all glared in anger and clenched their jaws at the mention of Zero. "Ever since then, many of our brethren have died due to Charles zi Britannia's recklessness. As more of us are sent to to fight in the name of this Empire, the few of us remain. And now with the rise of this 'benevolent' Emperor, Lelouch vi Britannia. It has become clear to us, that Britannia has long sinced abandoned us and the Order!" Madd, pressed a button on the railings which turned on the lights in the room. Then out of nowhere, strange Knightmares appeared, similar to the ones that Madd's experimental unit used.
"That is why from here on out, Pluton declares its independence from the Britannian Empire." Then suddenly a banners rolled down from the ceiling, with the Geass sigil. "From this day foward, I declare the establishment of the Holy Nation of Eden Vital, and proclaim a new era for all Geass holders. It is now time for us to reveal ourselves to the world, no longer hiding in the shadows."
All the former Pluton members were taken aback by his proclamation at first, considering this was very unusual of him. Madd was a scientist first, and commander second. It was unnatural of him to suddenly care about what the Empire thinks of them. Madd swore no loyalty to Britannia, nor to anyone but himself. Yet his words resonated within them, ever since tye massacre of the order, Pluton has been dying out. Many of their members were sent to fight the Great Enemy in secret, trying to prevent it from interfering from Ragnarök. Charles zi Britannia didn't even bat an eye when the order was destroyed, he called them weak and useless when they began to lose members and gained significant losses. They were abandoned, and now the new Emperor wants them to captured. No, not anymore. They were all done, they were done with the Empire and the world. Even if it was Madd, they might as well go along with him.
"Rejoice, for a new age. We will once again rebuild Eden in our image and the world shall fall to the word of Geass," Madd proclaimed, raising his fist. "HAIL EDEN!"
"HAIL EDEN!" They all cried.
As they did, Madd smirked amused. They had now fallen for his little trap. "These idiots," he thought to himself as they all cried out. They were so easy to manipulate. Considering they had been taken away as children and made to live in such conditions, it was like taking candy from a baby. A new age for Geass?! Give him break, he could care less about it. With the creation of Eden Vital, he will be able to do whatever he wants and do whatever experiments he wants. He knew fully well, why the Emperor them all captured. It was so that he coukd use them in his so called 'gentle world'. "And a world where I can't complete my projects," he could only shiver at such a thoughts. There was nothing more valuable to him than his research and experiments. If such a world to exiat, he woukd rather kill himself.
"With this, I can continue my experiments. As well as get as many test subjects I need," Madd could only be euphoric at such a thought. Maybe forming a country wasn't such a bad idea after all.
Though if there is one thing he will admit, he did miss his ild test subjects. He was so close with gaining more exquisite results He could only wonder whatever happen to them.
Holy Britannian Empire, Area 5, Panama city
"What do you mean you couldn't find anything?"Wizard asked Miss X, who was talking to him through transmitter.
"Yep like I said nothing," Miss X confirms he question. "I couldn't find anything relating to this Rai guy. Besides didn't you say he was part of the Geass Order, maybe he was taken in as a child?"
"That isn't the case, Oz told me that he hadn't seen him once back when he was at the order. So its quite impossible," Wizard states, remembering what his protege had told him.
"Well he did say he escaped the order when he was pretty young, so its probably nothing," Miss X mentions, thinking it wasn't such a big deal.
"No it isn't," Wizard once again says, holding his chin. "I just have feeling that he isn't telling us something."
"My god Wizard, what's got you so stuck up about this kid. Don't tell me this kid made fun of your look?" She teased.
"This is no time for jokes!" Wizard shouts. "These are confusing times X. Charles is dead, Britannia is changing, Zilkhstan is making a move and now Madd is out on the loose," Wizard states.
"Wait back up, what do you mean Madd is on the loose?!" X asked terrified.
"Madd is out on the loose, and I know for certain Britannia has lost control of him," Wizard remarks, remembering the insane scientist. "Who knows what he will do."
"Then what are we waiting?!" X inquired. "Shouldn't we do something about this?"
"I already sent a request to the Brotherhood of Solus and the Dimensional cult. I even informed Farlaf, they all agreed to work together," Wizard assured.
The Brotherhood of Solus, a splinter group of the Geass Order which followed the path of S.S. nicknamed Solus. Solus was a Code bearer who cared more about the well being of his contracters more than anything. He believed the Order to be flawed and cruel and had taken his contracters and followers away from the Order and established a new organisation. One that took in many Geass users. Though the Original S.S. died a long time ago, the brotherhood had remained and was one of the most powerful Geass groups alongside Farlaf.
The Dimensional cult, as the Brotherhood, a splinter group of the Geass Order. They believe in the being known as the Dimensional supervisor, or D.S. as she calls herself. A being that appears once every lifetime, and when she does appear it meant something was about to happen. Cult worshipped ger as a god like being, which caused them to be exiled by the Order. Though not as powerful as Farlaf and the Brotherhood, they were quite a powerful group.
"Really?" X says sarcastically. "We are talking about Madd, a man who has created Knightmares that can be able to use the power of Geass, don't you think we're gonna need a little more than that?" X inquired, thinking this was a bad idea.
"I'm quite aware, which is why they are still in discussion of what to do. Though we are now sure that Emperor Lelouch is a Geass user, we aren't so sure about what to do with him," Wizard says. "In all honesty he is a wild card, he's very unpredictable, who knows what he might do?"
"So what you're saying is... you have no idea what to do, right?" X sarcastically sums up. Which only got a sigh from Wizard.
"From the looks of it yes," Wizard confirms, as he opened the window of his room, revealing the Panama City settlement. "I'll get back to you later, continue investigating Rai, find anything about him and tell me as soon as possible," Wizard intructed her.
Before she could even reply, Wizard turns off the transmitter and sits down back on his chair. Sitting down he took off his mask, revealing the face of Oiagros Zevon, a noble of the Empire, one of the former leaders of Pluton and the head of the Zevon family. It had been a week since arrived in Panama. The reason that he came was because there had been a problem with one of Zevon families businesses in Area 5, that had recently been audited due to shady dealings. As the head of the family,it was his duty to manage them so he had to come. Or else how could he fund Peace Mark and its operations. He will admit it is a bit of a drag. He wasn't aware of such responsibilities that he had to undertake as head of the Zevon family if he known then he wouldn't have... killed his older sister.
...
Not a day goes by when that day continues to haunt him. That day five years ago, when he committed sorocide on his beloved sister, Olivia. Everday the memory of him poisoning her in her sleep continues to appear in his memory and thoughts. The immense guilt and pain that he still was stil there, and he had no idea what to do. His niece still doesn't know the truth yet she continues to call her uncle whenever they meet. Then there is his nephew, who had kept his identity a secret from as Wizard. He killed his lover Euliya in Southern years ago, and he remembered it so vividly. All the suffering all the pain that his family had to go through was all because of him. That his why he became Wizard, to fix his mistakes. The Empire's ideals has lead to him to these things, it was the Empire that had caused him to commit such acts. Yet with Emperor Lelouch in power, does it matter? The Britannia that had mmade him commit such acts is being wiped away from the face of the Earth because of the Young Emperor-
No. A few acts of kindness is not enough to prove Emperor Lelouch is good for Britannia or the world. He had a long way to go. As he said before, they will wait and see. As after all, a man is judged by his actions not his past or future.
"Then Emperor Lelouch, let's see if you are worthy of gaining my loyalty," Oiagros looked outside to the sky. As he looked on a memory of his sister appeared on his head. It was one which he remembered so clearly, it was the day where Oldrin and Orpheus were born.
On that day, she looked so happy. More happier when she became the Knight of five. And like his sister, he was happy as well, aa he became an uncle. But because of their families tradition of female heirs, they had to abandon Orpheus. Olivia of course didn't want to abandon him, but Charles intervened and geassed her into believing he didn't exist. And he was the only who remembered Orpheus.
Now he is gone, and Oiagros can now rest in peace knowing his dead. But with all the pain he has caused in his family he can't juat yet, there is still so much that he has to fix in his family.
Cambodia
Back in the jungles of Cambodia in Schneizel's secret base. Schneizel and his allies all gathered around as Diethard delivered the news about the U.F.N. proposal. Talks have been going on over the past month regarding their asylum to the chrater. The talks of course were slow, considering who they were, there was lot of discussion.
"So what did the U.F.N. say, did they approve?" Schneizel asked, wondering if it went smoothly.
"For now, they are willing to take us in for the time being, considering the state both the U.F.N. and the Empire are in, they have no interest in going to war with Britannia," Diethard informs. Which received some negative responses, particularly from the former Knight of Three.
"I'm not surprised, considering that the Black Knights are still trying to recover the loss of Zero," Kanon adds, understanding the U.F.N.'s reasoning.
Dorothea just snorts in offense. "It just proves how weak those elevens are."
"Given the current situation, I'm surprised that they even agreed," Bismark says, a little skeptical. Though he was against the idea, he felt thta it was too easy for the U.F.N. to have accepted so quickly.
"Well, I had little bargaining card for my negotiations, you see," Diethard began, which raised a brow from the Knight of one.
"And whatever possible thing did you have against them to allow us to take refuge?" Bismark asked.
"I told them about Damocles," the reporter revealed. Which only made the old Knight turn to the white king.
"So, you wish to end our Empire, Schneizel?" Bismarck query as he stands up.
"Please Bismark, it was going to happen eventually. Don't be so surprised," Schneizel said with a smile. Which angered the former Knight of the Round.
"There will be consequences for this?!" The former Knight of One yells, slamming his chair as he rose up. "If we manage to overthrow Lelouch, the Aristocracy will not allow this, do you realise this."
Schneizel kept his cool and just shrugs his words. "Sir Bismark, by the time a war breaks out between Lelouch and the U.F.N. there won't be a Aristocracy left. Lelouch will surely have them be abolished by that time. Besides it is her wish after all," Schneizel says, gesturing to the wheelchaired girl in the room.
Nunnally, after being mentioned by Schneizel immediately confirmed his words. "It is true sir Bismarck, after overthrowing my brother. My first act as Empress, is to decolonise the Empire."
Hearing those words, the Knights of Round excluding Anya, along with Cornelia all turned to her in shock, surprise and outrage. The latter being Dorothea and Bismark.
"This is unacceptable!" Dorothea yelled, finding it outrageous. "You want us to end our years of hard earned conquest!?"
"Your highness, y'might want to think this through," Gino suggests, mostly under concern of what would happen in the long run.
"No," Nunnally states, trying to show everyone her decision is final. "Britannia has caused enough suffering throughout the world, our conquests has only led the world fear us. Its time that we move away from the past."
"Nunnally," Cornelia after hearing her words, is reminded of her late sister. She could only clench her jaw just remembering her, as she begins to understand her bit by bit.
Dorothea could only snort at Nunnally's little speech. "So what if the fear us? That hardly matters, the only thing that does, is to show the world that we are superior," Dorothea states, which made the young princess cringe. "It is through our conquests that the world will only understand. Such things as kindness and empathy will only make us look weak and allow ourselves to be invaded by other powers."
"That's not-" Before she could say anything else, Schneizel cut off the brunette princess.
"That is quite enough now, lady ernst," Schneizel says as he bounces a glare at her direction. Which made the Knight of four clench her teeth. "As much as we like to keep our Dominions, we have no choice, if we don't want Lelouch to continue to sit on the throne."
Dorothea tried to retort, but was stopped by Monica. "Its best that you stop, Dorothea." The blonde haired girl whispered, trying to prevent anymore discord amongst them. Dorothea was about to shoot back at her response but was stopped by Bismarck's glare, after which she remained silent.
"Sir Bismarck, it seems you have come to understand our position in the current situation if I am to presume?" Schneizel asks, seeing as how he stopped Dorothea.
"Not quite, I'm still opposed to the idea, but whatever gets that patricide out of the throne, I'll go along with your plans," Bismarck states, making it clear he didn't agree with the decolonisation plan.
Before Schneizel could say anything else, he left the them followed by Dorothea ernst and Nonette Ennegram. The rest of the Knights remained in the room, albiet a little awkward. Schneizel sighs at what had just happened, while Cornelia and Kanon could only look on skepticism, as they aren't sure whether or not it will go well. Meanwhile Diethard clicks his tongue as he is beginning to regret his decision of following Schneizel and his group.
"Maybe I shouldn't have left the Black Knights after all," Diethard thought, as seeing the disunity amongst Royals and the Knights of the Roumd is quite concerning as it might lead to conflict with another.
Nunnally meanwhile could only grab on her to dress. Cornelia noticing this, gets up fron her seat and approached her younger sister. "Are you alright?" she asked getting down to her level and putting her hand over hers.
"I'm... fine, I'm fine really sister," Nunnally assured in a weak voice.
Cornelia frowned at her response. "Why don't I take you back to your room," Cornelia asks, as she gets behind her chair.
"I would like that," Nunnally agreed, to which tye third princess pushed the wheelchair and head to the crippled girls room.
After the Princesses, Gino finding no reason to be there also left as Monica and Anya followed suit. The only ones left, were Schneizel, Kanon and Diethard. Schneizel could only look disappointed with had just happened, he had hoped that they woukd at least work together to stop Lelouch and stopping his plans. Well that didn't turn out so well. After all Bismarck was loyal to his father, same with Dorothea and Monica, the rest of Knights of the around are wildcards. Nonnette is only with them because of Cornelia, Gino and Anya were with them because Bismarck told them to. Its honestly a pretty dysfunctional team they have made.
"What should we do now?" Kanon asked his Prince, seeing as how they might as well call it quits. "With so much tension within our ranks, I would hardly call this a united front." Kanon states.
"There is nothing else we could do, our forces alone can't possibly defend the Damocles nor can we launch a successful counter Rebellion," Schneizel points out.
Diethard sighs. "It appears to be so, but I wonder if we can get Duke el Grande on our side?" Diethard inquired, seeing as how the Duchy was also on the same boat as them.
"There is no way in hell they would allow that. The el Grande's have been vying to take control of the throne, ever since the emblem of blood. They may've shown themselves loyal to my father back during their failed assassination attempt at the Imperial mausoleum, but they have no interest whatsoever to bring back power to us," Schneizel stated, remembering how many times the el Grande Duchy tried to delegitimize his father whenever he was absent for a major event.
"So, we have no else in Britannia willing to help us?" Kanon inquired, which got a nod from Schneizel.
"Well it doesn't matter anyway, once we have the U.F.N. complete building Damocles, it would hardly matter who in Britannia will join us," Schneizel says, grabbing a white king ftom the Chessboard in front of him. "Once complete, all will obey me and only me." he twirled the chess piece through his fingers. "A world without conflict, a world without national borders, a world where everyone can live in peace." Schneizel then begins to imagine, where a fully constructed Damocles was orbiting around the world, firing F.L.E.I.J.A's throughout every major world city, with him looking down as some sort of ancient greek god. His face which usually kept a calm demeanor most of the time was then replaced with a maniacal smile, once which creeped the two men in the room. "Through fear!"
In the Hideout of the Great Enemy
"Eden Vital?" The creature inquired, a little confused.
"Yes master, a mad scientist named Madd has reformed the ancient kingdom." The Chinese woman confirms.
The creature snorted and laugh. "What a joke, to bring back that ancient Empire is meaningless," it says finding it hilarious.
"It appears to be farce, as the man true goal is to continue making Knightmares capable of using the power of Geass," the Indian woman stated, making the creature laugh even harder.
"In all my days, I woukd never have heard such ludicrous things," he says getting up from the ground and head to the hallway. The two woman also followed suit.
"Yes master, that is why the Solus Brotherhood, the Dimensional cult and Farlaf are already trying to figure out a way to stop him," the Chinese woman also added.
"It also appears that the one called C.C. has also been made aware of Madd's actions," the Indian woman added as well, which caught her master's attention.
"Oh that girl... I see, how is she by the way?" he asked.
"As our spies reports she is doing well, I assure you my lord no harm will come to her," the Chinese woman assured the Great Enemy, which made him relieved.
"Good, make sure no harm comes to her. Though he is a descendant of of the Gharib, I don't believe that he can protect that girl," he says, which gained a nod from both women. "Anyways, have they all been assembled?"
"Yes my liege, they will meet in Alexandria." the Indian woman informs.
"Good," he says satisfied. Soon they reached outside the the temple, the sun momentarily blinded the creature as it had been a long time sinec he had been outside. "It has been a while since I've gone outside," he said.
"Master, I don not believe your current look will fit well amongst the humans," the Chinese woman mentions, seeing how large the creature is.
"Oh right," the Great enemy says, realizing how small humans were compared to him. Then in just a moment, the Geass on his skull glowed purple as a dark cloud covers himself. The cloud shrunk along with the creature, after the cloud reached the about same height as the women, it dispersed. The creature which used to be be giant with a skull, turned into a handsome looking human with long white hair that went down his neck and blue green eyes. His attire was replaced with a gentlemen like clothing, similar to the ones wore by 1900's detectives.
"This will do," he says liking his look.
"You look charming, my master," the Indian woman compliments.
"You can flatter me later, for now let's head to Alexandria. My body is itching to fight the Gharib's descendant," he says as he continued to walk. The two woman again began following him hin from behind.
As they all followed him, the creature now a human man in disguise, recalls the time when he had last fought his arch nemesis. Raven Black hair, purple amethyst eyes, and milky white skin, it was a face he could never forget and that smirk, that devilish smirk. But unlike the Gharib's descendant, the Gharib was a woman.
"It doesn't matter anyway," he thought, as he soon came across a helicopter.
Be it a man or woman, or a fucking baby. He will have his rematch, as there will be no one like her that can make him excited. He only hoped that his descendant was the same.
"Please make this a great time for me, descendant of the Gharib."
A/N
What up my bro's and sis's I'm back and I'm not dead.
Yeah sorry for the delay, I had hit a writers and block and got lazy the past month, along with get fired from my job. But anyways I'm back.
Lelouch has now met his first setback in this war, and that is to learn the existence of a new enemy. Madd is now on the loose and declared his own nation, and what's this?! The Great Enemy knows C.C.? Whatever could be going on.
I have a lot planned for this series, I feel like this might become longer than his Britannia due to all the arcs I'm now planning.
With Aliya Norman and el Grande being the next on the line and after which a Zilkhstan arc and after that. Don't worry, C.C.'s coronation will happen during the el Grande arc I'm now planning.
Also yes, I have mentioned President John F Kennedy, but let me make this clear. CG is set half a century ahead of the current A.D. calendar. So yeah, it kind of is okay to that, and don't worry he is a bit younger here, so Elijah's comment of him will be correct.
I love writing Suzaku here. Yes I know it doesn't match with Canon Suzaku, but I mean this is some hilarious things I could do with him. For the record, if Suzaku hadn't committed Patricide, I feel like he would've been one of the most chillest and most funniest dudes you'll ever meet. Like he gives of 'one of the bro's' y'know what I'm saying.
With that, said I do hope you all like my portrayal of Schneizel. I kind of wanted to make a sociopath with a saviour complex that only he can bring order to the world. With hin having a crazier side to that. Though I am butchering his character, let's be real here I think this fucker deserves to be portrayed as a monster after all the shit he pulled.
Also I have an announcement to make. Next month I will not be updating Gentle Emperor. Instead I will release two fics.
These fics will one shots that will eventually become full fledged fan fics if they get popular. Which ever one gets the most follows and favourites by September will become an official project.
I hope you understand the delay, As I've been wanting to a different series other than Gentle Emperor.
I have decided to abandon Forgotten world. But it will remain here on this site.
So stay tuned and make sure to put your follows and favourites for my next projects.
Until then,
Peace.
