Hello and welcome to NEW experimental fanfic of Boku no Hero Academia, in which a new inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, and for the first time, I will incorporate semi-horror elements mixed with adventure here with some character deaths, as this will be more of an action-packed story with some drama and well…violence.
This started when the I downloaded a CPS 2 emulator and installed it on my PSP, and among the ROM games I downloaded include unique Capcom games like Darkstalkers and Nightwarriors. I had to admit I was enticed to play this game given that this was a Street Fighter-type game with gothic monsters as characters, which was launched way back in 1994, followed by a sequel a year later.
After playing the Darkstalkers games, along with its FINAL sequel, Vampire Savior, an idea popped into my head as I decided to have the Darkstalkers characters face off against another set of characters, where the casts of My Hero Academia comes in to my mind, hence a crossover of sorts and decided to see if this would attract readers and fans of the two aforementioned series.
Another source of inspiration comes in the form of a Darkstalkers OVA that spanned four episodes, and this further gave me ideas on making this story.
Lastly, given that it would have horror elements, there will be lots of character deaths, and among those who may end up getting killed include some pro heroes and possibly students at UA Academy, so expect the unexpected…
This fic will include all the characters from the three games, which are:

While Huitzil/Phobos will play a part, here Pyron won't be included given that an alien seemed to have no connection to the Monster realm…

Ch. 1: Mysterious Series of Deaths
Scotland.
located within the European Union which a country that is part of the United Kingdom. Covering the northern third of the island of Great Britain, mainland Scotland has a 96 mile (154 km) border with England to the southeast and is otherwise surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west, the North Sea to the northeast and the Irish Sea to the south.
Scotland is the "Home of Golf", and is well known for its courses. As well as its world-famous Highland Games (athletic competitions), it is also the home of curling, and shinty, a stick game similar to Ireland's hurling. Scotland has 4 professional ice hockey teams that compete in the Elite Ice Hockey League. Scottish cricket is a minority game.
Scotland is internationally known for its traditional music, which remained vibrant throughout the 20th century and into the 21st, when many traditional forms worldwide lost popularity to pop music. In spite of emigration and a well-developed connection to music imported from the rest of Europe and the United States, the music of Scotland has kept many of its traditional aspects; indeed, it has itself influenced many forms of music.
Many outsiders associate Scottish folk music almost entirely with the Great Highland Bagpipe, which has long played an important part in Scottish music. Although this particular form of bagpipe developed exclusively in Scotland, it is not the only Scottish bagpipe. The earliest mention of bagpipes in Scotland dates to the 15th century although they are believed to have been introduced to Britain by the Roman armies. The pìob mhór, or Great Highland Bagpipe, was originally associated with both hereditary piping families and professional pipers to various clan chiefs; later, pipes were adopted for use in other venues, including military marching. Piping clans included the Clan Henderson, MacArthurs, MacDonalds, McKays and, especially, the MacCrimmon, who were hereditary pipers to the Clan MacLeod.
However, in recent weeks most areas within the country experienced an unprecedented kind of situation as many mysterious deaths occurred where many victims are found dead, in which there are no puncture wounds or signs of strangulation found, and this caused a wave of fear to the Scottish citizens as there are no news on who committed the attacks.
The victims found appeared to have been DRIED UP, where their bodies are seen shriveled and devoid of life as if something was SUCKED out of them. The bodies resembled like DRIED SKELETONS as well as they appeared weightless.
And causing more fear is that most of the victims found dead are male, ranging from bachelors to teenagers as young as 13 years old, which caused many to curb their nightlife and partying activities and this caused a decline in restored bars and karaoke club businesses which in turn caused several establishment to close up.
The police and various law enforcement agencies are facing a blank wall due to lack of eyewitnesses and that the suspect appeared to be elusive, prompting even pro heroes to assist and began to investigate even at night time.
At the parliament Scottish authorities members are debating on who could pull something off and how the suspect is able to evade authorities and carry out the attacks unseen, which members are debating whether a villain is behind this or if this is a work of a serial killer possessing a Quirk.
"I say we increase the police and military visibility…"
"Don't you think that's a bit too much…?"
"Do you have a better idea? The parents are putting the pressure on us!"
"Mind your tongue!"
"Gentlemen…calm down…! The Prime Minister will be ticked! Stop your bickering!"
"Forgive me..."
"My apologies…"
"…"
The chief of police swore that he will do what he could to find the culprit and bring the suspect to justice and restore peace and order, which the Prime Minister tells him that he will expect results as he wanted this incidents solved as soon as possible.
"Can you promise me that?"
"Yes sir!"
"Then do your best."
"I will not let you down!"
"I want you to solve these incidents as soon as possible."
"I will sir!"
"Then do it."
"At once!"
Suddenly one of the patrolling policeman came and told everyone the shocking news, in which he said that he got word that the number one hero of Scotland, the Piper Hero, known as Hot Rod, was found dead at a park, and suffered the same mysterious death like the other victims of the same modus operandi.
This came as a shock as they could not believe that the number one hero of Scotland was killed so easily and they turned on the TV and there live news is being broadcasted where Hot Rod was found at the crime scene and both the Prime Minister and the police chief were shocked to the core at what they just saw and this will surely rock the United Kingdom and cause fear and panic to the citizens.
"Good lord!"
"No!"
"It can't be!"
"Hot Rod!"
"This cannot be possible!"
"The number one hero of Scotland…dead?"
"Dear me…"
"May the almighty help us all…"

Somewhere in Northern Europe, the scene shifts at a night pub where customers frequently come here for drinks and food, as well as hanging out, and the pub proved to be a popular hangout for customers who enjoy the nightlife as well as partying.
Strangely majority of the customers are anthropomorphic individuals who resembled canine-like characters, like wolves, fox and even wild dogs, and the bartender did not mind it since the customers are paying and that business is flourishing.
Soon news on the unexpected death of Scotland's number one hero, Hot Rod was broadcaster and this became the talk amongst the dog-like customers as they respect and admire Hot Rod and felt that with Hot Rod's murder criminal elements are sure to take advantage of this incident.
"No way…"
"How unfortunate…"
"The number one hero of Scotland…killed…?"
"That's bad enough…"
"I'm guessing that the criminal elements are sure to take advantage of this…"
"Hope that incident doesn't happen here…"
"Yeah, this country is enjoying peace…"
"At least the pro heroes here are…"
Suddenly a person came in which attracted the attention of the bartender and became quite suspicious, as the newcomer looked like an underage person due to the person's height, as well as the attire because the person appeared to be a girl and is dressed like Little Red Riding Hood.
The customers glanced at the person and wondered what is she doing here, given that it is already past curfew hours (the current time is 00:15) and that minors are not allowed at this pub, and they wondered if she got lost or came here by mistake.
"Is that a minor?"
"What's she doing here?"
"Is she lost?"
"She better not be here by mistake…"
"Look…what's with that getup…?"
"Blimey…it's not Halloween yet…"
"Somebody better send her home…"
"Youngsters these days…"
The person, however, grinned as she took out something from her basket, and the customers stared wide-eyed in shock, as the girl brought out what appeared to be a pair of automatic sub-machine guns and opened fire, which consists of explosive bullets and fired all over the pub, shooting everyone within her sight and she wasted little time as she grinned at her actions.
The customers were taken by surprise and many were instantly killed and some were taken down as screams can be heard as many are dying from the multiple bullet wounds that were fatal.
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYAAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!"
"GGGGGGWWWWAAAHHH!"
"AAAAAIIIIIIEEE!"
"GGGGGYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

It took less than a minute for the girl to slaughter all the customers inside the pub, and only the bartender managed to survive as he hid behind the counter, but the girl approached him while aiming her guns at him though she began displaying her INNOCENT look and persona.
The bartender pleaded for his life saying he did not do anything wrong but she smiled sweetly and said it is nothing personal as she was paid to do this while at the same time stated that she is a bounty hunter and she revealed that the bartender is previously a drug pusher before he quit the drug trade to become a reformed citizen.
Moreover the girl said that she was paid to destroy this pub due to a rival deeming it a FREAK establishment because of catering ANIMALS like the customers she just killed and now he is going to join them.
The bartender pleaded for his life but the girl smiled and tells him not to think badly of her.
"Now then…"
"N-no…"
"Don't think badly of me…"
"Spare me! I already quit doing drugs and I've been going straight and led an honest life!"
"Still…I was paid to do this…so…"
"No! Please don't!"
"Bye-bye!"
"!"
After that she shoots down the bartender in cold blood before leaving as she places a bomb which several seconds later detonated and the pub was reduced to burning rubble.
Several minutes later police arrived and are disturbed by the incident as this was the fifth time that something like this has happened and with the news of Hot Rod found dead they are sure that the criminal activity will spike up dramatically.
"Damn…"
"Not again…"
"This is the fifth time this happened…"
"At this rate the public will put pressure on us…"
"And with Hot Rod dead…the kooks are surely going to get more bolder…"
"Quick! There must be a CCTV!"
"Of course!"
"Hurry! We might identify the culprit!"

Hosu, Japan.
The following day, the scene shifts at UA Heights Alliance, where Class 1-A are having quite a day, as today is Saturday, and are enjoying their weekend due to not having classes today, and right now the class is preparing themselves for another round of work studies, which some of the students are looking forward to it.
Denki Kaminari tells Minoru Mineta to look forward to intern under Mt. Lady as Mineta hoped that he won't get to do things like cleaning the house and the like, though Kaminari said that he, along with Hanta Sero and ibara Shiozaki of Class 1-B will be interning under Mt. Lady along with other pro heroes like Kamui Woods and Edgeshot.
This piqued Mineta's interest as he made some research on the two aforementioned heroes and this seemed to put Mineta's mind at ease. Sero however, tells Mineta that with Woods and Edgeshot with them, Mineta won't be able to visually ogle Mt. Lady, which Mineta scoffed.
"Hmph."
"What?"
"I'm through with her."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"So who do you prefer now?"
"Midnight."
"Oh?"
Meanwhile, Izuku Midoriya is surfing the internet on his smartphone when Katsuki Bakugo came and reminded him that they and Shoto Todoroki will be interning under Endeavor again, which Midoriya nodded, but then Bakugo saw Midoriya's shocked look while staring at the smartphone, and out of curiosity, Bakugo asked him what's the surprise, and there Midoriya showed his classmate and rival the reason why.
Bakugo raised an eyebrow when the contents showed that a news about Scotland's number one hero, Hot Rod was shown, and how his body looked like when found dead. Surprisingly, Bakugo felt quite disturbed as it somewhat reminded him of a scene from a horror movie, and as Mineta and Sero peered, they too were taken aback at what they saw.
The four boys began debating who caused this, with varying speculations that a drug did this, or someone with a strange Quirk killed Hot Rod, but Bakugo said it somewhat reminded him from a classic movie from Stephen King, such as The Sleepwalkers.
Mineta freaked out as he guessed what Bakugo is implying, but Midoriya appeared skeptical about Bakugo's claim, saying that he is suggesting about an incubus, but Bakugo grabbed Midoriya's smartphone and showed another article where deaths reports in Scotland are similar to Hot Rod's in which victims are men, and Bakugo jokingly state that it might be a succubus.
Mineta and Kaminari hugged each other in fear, and Bakugo berated them, saying that the two are seriously taking his speculation seriously when it hasn't been proven yet.
"Geez! You two are like a bunch of faggots!"
"That's because you scared us!"
"I don't want to…"
"It's just a guess! You idiots didn't have to take it seriously!"
"But…but…"
"A succubus…?"
"You assholes better stop watching horror movies!"
"…"
"…"
Midoriya took back his smartphone and surfed the web again, and this time he saw a news report about a night pub being attacked at Northern Europe, and a picture of a possible suspect was caught, which Midoriya blinked his eyes as the possible suspect appeared to resemble Little Red Riding Hood. He wondered if this news is legitimate or not, as he felt this couldn't be possible given that the outfit is already outdated.
By then, Tsuyu Asui came and is greeted by her female classmates, and there she tells them a scoop she got from pro heroes Selkie and Sirius, whom she interned several months ago. She tells Ochako Uraraka, Mina Ashido, Toru Hagakure, Kyoka Jiro and Momo Yaoyorozu that Selkie and Sirius encountered what they believed to be a merman.
The girls stared wide-eyed in surprise and asked Asui if she is serious, which Asui said she is not sure as she just got word from Selkie about it when she paid them a visit hours ago.
"What?"
"A merman?"
"Seriously?"
"For real? "
"Kero…that's what Selkie told me…"
"That can't be…"
"A merman at this time?"
"I doubt it…"
The boys approached the girls, with Tenya Iida asking if there is proof about this so-called merman, and Asui showed them the picture sent to her by Selkie and there Class 1-A stared in surprise, seeing the merman in clear view when Selkie was underwater, though Bakugo dismissed it saying that people nowadays resembled any animals, such as Kenji Tsuganae resembling a dog or Nezu resembling a mouse.
Iida stared in shock and berated Bakugo for disrespecting the elders, though Bakugo rebutted it saying that he is stating the obvious. Most of the boys pried Iida and Bakugo apart, while Midroriya wondered if the villains within Europe are as ruthless as the villains Class 1-A encountered, as he feared that if the likes of Tomura Shigaraki and his allies are like that, then it would be possible that these kind of violent actions would cause fear within Japan's hero society.

Hope you liked this chapter, as there is not much action here, but it served as an introductory part where the characters of My hero Academia would eventually face off against the characters of Darkstalkers, and the scene s shown above served as a prologue of sorts.
So far three characters from Darkstalkers are shown, albeit in an off-screen manner, where she is hinted in using her ABILITIES to kill her victims, including the number one hero of Scotland (an OC I made), while the character from Vampire Savior is the only one to PHYSICALLY appear while the merman is only shown via a smartphone picture.
