Welcome to my Fanfic! Basically, this is a fanfiction about human warrior cats at Hogwarts. This takes place in book one of Harry Potter (The Sorcerer's Stone) and original Harry Potter characters are in this fanfiction.
Here, students start Hogwarts when they are fourteen, so Hogwarts takes place in their high school years.
Disclaimer: I do not own Warrior Cats or Harry Potter.
Hope you enjoy!
Hollyleaf POV:
Brushing my long, straight black hair to the side, I carefully balanced my heavy magical trunk on my cart, along with a large, iron-wrought cage containing a frenzied, hooting snowy owl. On top of the leather trunk, I piled guides and books about Hogwarts to look through on the train, not that I hadn't already read them four times, but it never hurts to be over-prepared right?
"Hollyleaf!" By my side, my golden-haired brother, Lionblaze, cursed as his trunk toppled down off his cart, knocking down his rat's cage. "A little help here?" He groaned.
I rolled my eyes and picked up the cage where a small coal-colored rat scurried, squeaking and shaking from the fall. Lionblaze heaved his trunk up onto his cart and I placed the pet carrier on top of it.
"Thanks," he panted, pushing his messy hair out of his eyes. "How's Jayfeather doing?"
I looked around for my other brother, and on the left side of the busy train station, I spotted his silver-gray hair bobbing through the crowd leading his cart where his possessions were meticulously stacked. He was impressively not smashing into anybody, even with his lost eyesight. I forgot to mention, my brother Jayfeather, while being one of the smartest in all our classes, was blind from birth.
"Much better than you, Lionblaze," a new voice broke in from the background rumble of the station. I turned to see my best friend, her blue eyes sparkling and silver hair gleaming, approaching where Lionblaze and I were wrestling with our carts.
"Cinderheart!" I exclaimed, and wrapped her in a hug. She smiled back, and waved at Lionblaze. I noticed my brother's cheeks tint a light shade of pink as he waved back, but I ignored it as Cinderheart's two sisters approached, towing three loaded carts rather grumpily.
"Hey Hollyleaf!" Honeyfern said, pushing one of the carts towards Cinderheart, muttering "carry your own stuff."
I grinned back at Honeyfern and Poppyfrost. They looked great, as usual, Honeyfern's long dirty blond hair was straightened and cascaded down her back, while Poppyfrost's equally long but light brown hair was in perfectly ironed curls, the golden and black highlights shining in the light.
"We're just waiting on Berrynose and his siblings right?" Poppyfrost curled a lock of her thick curls around her finger, looking around the station.
I sighed, "Poor Hazeltail, she's probably having to stay back to help him untangle himself from something." Honeyfern giggled, but stifled it when Poppyfrost shot us an annoyed look.
"Where's Jayfeather?" Cinderheart asked, changing the subject.
I pointed towards his figure in the distance. "He wanted to go ahead," I shrugged.
"Call Berrynose Lionblaze, he's holding us all back," I snapped. If you couldn't tell already, I didn't appreciate Berrynose very much, my brother's best friend and the biggest idiot I've met in my life.
Lionblaze fumbled with his black iPhone 14 and FaceTimed Berrynose. After a few seconds, the image of a sandy-haired boy with blue eyes appeared. He was wincing as a voice in the background, which I recognized to be his sister Hazeltail's was scolding him furiously. "How could you lose the OWL of all things! You had ONE job, to look after A GIGANTIC bird in a CAGE! And now the cage and owl are gone, our parents are going to KILL us."
Berrynose whispered into the speakerphone, his words barely coming through Hazeltail's yelling, "Are you on platform nine- we're almost there- see you later!"
The call ended abruptly. We exchanged half amused-half anxious looks. An angry Hazeltail was very scary.
Honeyfern stood on tiptoe to look through the crowd, while Poppyfrost rearranged her curls over her shoulder. I yawned and considered looking through my books again.
Berrynose appeared soon, with Hazeltail, whose light brown hair was combed neatly into a claw clip and had brown eyes that sparked with anger. Behind them trailed a boy with dusty brown hair, Mouswhisker, their brother.
Hazeltail smiled at the group, but at her state, it came out more like a grimace.
Berrynose was practically shivering in fear when he sheepishly spoke, "Hey guys, we had some trouble with our owl."
Mousewhisker piped up, "More like Berrynose had trouble with the owl. He lost it and it's cage."
Lionblaze glanced at Hazeltail, "So we heard," he murmured, causing Hazeltail to blush red. She evidently hadn't known she was on speakerphone.
"D'you find it?" Poppyfrost inquired, leaning towards Berrynose.
Berrynose grinned, "Yep." He held up a cage that resembled the one I had, but much messier, as feathers were strewn on the bottom. Inside, a dark horned owl slept with its head underneath its wing. "Found it on the way here on Breezepelt's cart. The idiot thought it was his."
At the confusion on our faces, he added, "He's one of the Wind kids."
Hazeltail sighed, "We had a little scuffle." Mousewhisker winced, rubbing a spot on his arm where a bruise was forming. "Little would be an understatement."
I winced in sympathy for Hazeltail and Mousewhisker. A grumpy voice snapped, "Are we going or not? You guys took forever so I came back to check on you only to find that you're chit chatting while the train is about to leave!"
Lionblaze checked his watch and gasped. "Sorry Jayfeather!"
There was a sudden bustle to gather belongings and start steering carts towards the solid barrier between platforms nine and ten. Other people at the train station watched curiously as our owls hooted at the sudden movement, and Jayfeaether grumbled, "If we had moved ahead of time we wouldn't have to rush and get so much attention."
But we weren't the only ones. A sudden crowd of people our age had appeared, and were all fumbling with locks and trunks.
When we reached the red brick barrier, I stopped and faced my friends. "All right, remember guys, in the books I've read, it says we need to walk straight through it without pausing or hesitating."
Berrynose smirked at Lionblaze, and I already knew they were planning to run through it at full speed, probably crashing into some innocent, unaware person on the other side.
The rest only nodded nervously, and we all prepared. Crossing the brick wall wasn't anything compared to what we would do at Hogwarts, but it would mean the start of our journey into the magical world. I was buzzing with apprehension. How would people accept us at Hogwarts? With our names, and our own groups of Thunder, Wind, Shadow, and River? But the first step here was going through this wall.
Berrynose and Lionblaze kicked off on their carts and charged through the wall. They disappeared through it cleanly.
Cinderheart and I exchanged a nervous smile. "Together?" She asked. "Together," I replied.
We backed up and drove our carts through the barrier, eyes squeezed shut.
When I opened my eyes, Cinderheart was looking around the new platform we arrived on. Gasps behind us told me that our friends had followed.
There were gold numbers, 9 ¾ glimmering at the top, and people bustled around with trunks and cages.
Owls hooted, and my own snowy owl, Angel, flapped her wings in her cage, causing feathers to drift down. I made a mental note to clean her cage again when I got to Hogwarts.
Behind us, I saw others streaming in. By others, I mean people like myself and my friends. I recognized the platinum blonde hair of Dovewing and the silver of Ivypool, both Thunder girls. I saw a gleam of light reflecting off dark hair. Minnowtail's, I noticed, as she strode by, waving at Mousewhisker, who in turn turned a bright pink.
The train roared, and I broke out of my observing trance, and unloaded my trunk and owl from my cart. Hazeltail was grappling with hers, so I helped her lift out her trunk.
We were all ready now to board, and so with Berrynose and Lionblaze in front of me, Cinderheart and Jayfeather at my sides, and my other friends trailing behind, I took one last glance at the sunlit world and stepped into the train.
This was only the start of my journey in magic!
