A new destination? – The fight for the Holy Grail begins
Fuyuki Docks – midnight
Walking through the middle of a large hallway between the endlessly colored cargo containers that were illuminated by several light poles, were Arturia and Irisviel. Those who were walking with caution, because not long ago they were walking and enjoying their pleasant walk along the beaches of Fuyuki, until they felt the presence of another Servant.
Which was a clear invitation to confrontation and neither of them was willing to ignore such a challenge. They both stopped when they heard the sound of footsteps approaching from the darkness. Being right under a huge red platform, which was holding a large container.
- I'm glad you decided to come. I thought that since they were walking around the city all day, they wouldn't accept my challenge and would rather continue having fun. Oh maybe, they are so confident in their victory that they are not willing to hide.
A clearly manly voice echoed through the place, his voice was full of confidence and security, although tranquility was also noticeable. Drawing the gaze of the pair of women in front, they could see a man with long hair combed roughly back, except for a lock that falls in front of his face.
His clothing consists of a dark green suit. In addition to carrying with him a crimson spear more than two meters long and a smaller golden spear approximately a third of the longest. Where both spears were wrapped in a dark purple bandage with red stripes.
His features are capable of making a woman's heart race with just one glance. His boldest features are the bridge of his nose and his bold eyebrow. His short mouth makes him look stoic, but his eyes make his look even brighter.
-And seeing that only you had the courage to come, he makes me sure that it is the latter. That pure fighting spirit. Am I wrong if I say you are Saber?
- Indeed. And you must be Lancer.
With that statement, Arturia stepped forward to protect Irisviel from the battle that was about to occur. She just wanted her Master to be close to her, so that she could offer her support if necessary and also so that she could truly see what she was capable of.
- We are about to fight to the death, but we cannot give our names properly. That causes any desire to fight to be lost in me.
And although her words said one thing, the smile and the battle stance that Lancer adopted seemed to say the opposite. Where her smile only grew a little as she saw Saber being enveloped in a bluish wind and with a glow on her body, her simple clothes changed into battle ones.
- I will take care of defeating Lancer, but I don't see his Master anywhere. Keep your guard and stay behind me, Irisviel – Arturia requested seriously, wielding her sword wrapped in wind with both hands.
- Alright. I can support you with healing magic, but only that. Please know, it guarantees our victory in this war – Irisviel asked, a little worried about the situation.
Both Servants stared at each other. Analyzing oneself, trying to discover what the other's first move would be and how to act accordingly. And although Irisviel was completely focused on helping Saber, she couldn't help but notice how her heart began to beat faster. But it wasn't fear or nervousness, it was different.
And it was when she discovered it that her heart was beating faster, because she was starting to feel attracted to Lancer. But it wasn't something natural, it was forced, something was forcing her to have those feelings. Well, being a Homunculus, the magic that could affect the mind of any human would not be so easy for her.
- Enchantment magic? – Arturia questioned because she couldn't believe that her enemy thought that such simple magic would work on her.
- Tsk. My deepest apologies. It's a kind of birth curse. It's not something she can control. You can blame me or the fact that you were born a woman – Lancer apologized, standing up in a more relaxed posture.
"I hope you don't think that your handsome face will hinder my sword, Lancer," Arturia warned sternly for that comment.
-If that were the case, it would kill the fun even more. The magic resistance of the Saber class is truly worth admiring. It is not at all honorable to kill a woman who has lost the will to fight because of my face.
Lancer's smile could do nothing but grow, because this was what he wanted. He can fight honorably with Servants from different eras, being completely loyal to his Master and giving him the Holy Grail as thanks for having fulfilled his greatest wish.
- I feel lucky! The first confrontation between Servants will be ours! Where can I fight against someone who has such a good temper – Lancer exclaimed with an excited smile on his face, once again placing himself on guard and ready to fight.
- I see that you are someone very proud. I'm glad I can fight with a Heroic Spirit like you - Arturia commented with a smile - but I'm sorry to break your dream. The first fight between Servants was the same day I was summoned and I plan to win in this fight. So I can face my first opponent once again and emerge victorious – she declared with a confident smile.
- I see, so I wasn't the first. In that case, I must put a lot of effort into surpassing your first opponent – Lancer said confidently.
Hidden among the cargo containers, Kiritsugu was watching how the fight had already begun, holding a sniper rifle in his hands. Behind him was a woman dressed completely in black, demonstrating a distant and cold impression of being someone who did not have a strong sense of identity.
Her short black hair reached her shoulders, with a lifeless look. Far away and almost dead. In her hands she carried an adaptable sniper rifle.
- It looks like someone has put up a barrier. Possibly Lancer's Master – Kiritsugu commented, noticing a disturbance in the environment.
He grimaced at that fact, as the barrier would separate the inside from the outside and if the barrier was strong enough he was sure it was. He couldn't get out without the help of his Servant.
- From up there you can easily see the battlefield - the black-haired woman commented, pointing to a large platform.
- It's true, it's a perfect place. And anyone who sees it would think the same. Maiya, approach from the dock to the east. I will go west. This way we can watch the fight and monitor that platform.
With that order given, Maiya ran away so she could do as requested. While Kiritsugu smiled slightly, because with his assistant things always went perfectly and tonight he could finish off Lancer's Master and possibly another. Finally, things seemed to be taking a proper course to complete his mission.
mountains of germany
- Who are you? And what do they mean by answers? – Goku questioned seriously.
The situation he found himself in was really starting to make the raven-haired man anxious. He wasn't on his planet. This new world had a strange energy. And those strange beings that appeared before him not only knew his name, but they seemed to know him.
- We ask you to be patient, Warrior Son Goku. We will answer each and every one of your questions. We are your allies, you can trust us – Gaia responded, trying to sound as kind and peaceful as possible.
- My counterpart is known as Gaia. While I am known as Alaya. You could say that those are our names and that's how you can refer to us. We are beings created by the Earth itself to protect it – she added, trying to reassure the Saiyan – we are not hostile beings and we do not want to hurt him. And neither do those whom you saw just arriving into this world.
- They have a very strange way of showing it - Goku said with a questioning look - as soon as I arrived they attacked me and I didn't do anything wrong.
-We apologize for that, but his sudden appearance is not something anyone expected. You must understand – Gaia commented normally – furthermore, as proof, this dome has healed him of all his wounds, as well as cured him of any possible illness that he would suffer in the future.
- Well, I think you're right about that. But could you tell me where I am? I really need to return to my planet – Goku asked, now a little calmer, because of those two he did not feel any bad intentions.
Both entities remained silent before the Saiyan's question. They really hoped to be able to explain that fact to him until the end, but in view of the priorities he had. It was clear that they would have to start with the bad news from the beginning.
- Unfortunately, that will not be possible. Warrior Son Goku. You are trapped in our world, more specifically our universe. Returning to his world will be impossible for him – Alaya responded, going directly to the heart of the matter.
Gaia was alarmed to see how the Saiyan's face quickly went from surprised to serious, almost angry. It was clear that her counterpart was not having the slightest tact in the matter. And she couldn't allow him to do that, because if the Saiyan misinterpreted his words he could attack them and destroy them both.
- My most sincere apologies, Warrior Son Goku. But my counterpart does not know how to properly deal with this kind of news, please allow me to explain things correctly – she asked in the most kind way possible, using the methods of human interaction that he knew.
- Yes, I want to know why I can't leave here - Goku said feeling that something was not right.
- Vera, you come from a universe parallel to ours. Right now, you are on planet Earth, but it is not your planet Earth. You can feel it, in the energy that surrounds the planet, that energy is called Mana. An energy that does not exist as such in your universe. And it is proof that you are no longer in his universe.
Goku was speechless, unable to properly understand what that entity was trying to explain to him. That he was on Earth, but it was not his Earth. A parallel universe. And that strange energy called Mana.
- I... I don't understand, could you explain better? – Goku asked, descending to the bottom of the crater along with those orbs.
- No problem. Think of your entire universe as a sphere. In that sphere are all the galaxies, planets and life forms that you know or do not know. But there are billions of spheres, the same as yours, but inside, everything is different.
Traveling between these dimensions is possible as long as they are close or connected in some way. But its sphere is millions of light years from our sphere. That you could get here is simply impossible.
Gaia could see in the Saiyan's gaze that understanding finally reached him. Well, disbelief, fear and skepticism were reflected in Goku's eyes. He honestly still didn't fully understand the situation he found himself in.
But remembering his childhood training, Mr. Popo took him to the Time Room. He said that this place was a completely different dimension and even the only exit would disappear if he stayed inside for more than two years. Relating what they explained to him with what was happening to him, he understood the main thing and that was that he was not in his home and that returning would be very difficult or impossible.
- Do you know how I got here? – I ask in the hope of being able to repeat the event and return.
- Unfortunately not – Alaya answered calmly – the factors that brought him here could be many. The explosion of the planet Namekusei. The energy you released when you transformed into Super Saiyan. 100% of Frieza's power.
The mixture of those three energies released. Even their universe and ours vibrated at the same frequency when a powerful event occurred. There are many things that could have brought him here, but knowing which one is impossible. And without that information, we can't return him to his universe.
- Wait, how do they know so much about me? – Goku questioned in shock, barely processing so much new information.
-We are something like the Kamisama of his world. We safeguard and protect this world. And when you appeared in our world, even if it was only for a few seconds, we could see your entire world.
We saw his past, his present and his future. And we saw what you are capable of achieving, the feats you have achieved throughout your life – Gaia responded with a softer voice, trying to calm him down.
- Then I can't go back... - Goku murmured, finally understanding things.
This had to be a bad joke. He always faced difficult things in his life, really difficult, terrible enemies or evil ones who were very powerful. He even had to die to save his son and friends. But this was different, because now he was no longer even in his own world. Nor his universe.
- I know this may be very hard news, but...
- Wait! – Goku exclaimed with a smile on his face as he remembered something and interrupted Gaia – in my world there is something called Dragon Balls, I am sure that my friends will gather them and take me back, since they can fulfill any wish.
- They already tried - Alaya said dryly, erasing the Saiyan's smile - as Gaia already said, we saw the past, present and future of their world. All of his friends desperately used the Dragon Balls from the planet Namek to bring him back. But the Dragon God, Polunga. I clarify that he cannot fulfill wishes that involve something outside of his own universe.
And with those last words, Goku's last hope of returning to his home, to his family and friends, disappeared. It was as if he had already lost them all, and he couldn't even say goodbye. A deep pain settled in his heart at the thought of losing them all. And once again, he failed his son, because he could no longer keep his promise to take him fishing.
The black-haired man clenched his fists tightly and involuntarily began to raise his Ki due to the rage he felt. Worrying the pair of beings in front of him greatly. Although he calmed down when he remembered that those guys could see the future. If he couldn't see them anymore, all he had left was knowing that at least they were safe.
- My friends and family, do they… know how they are? – I ask a little afraid of the answer.
-His wife and father-in-law. His friend Bulma, as well as many of his friends who are not warriors, are still alive – Alaya answered simply.
- And what about the others? – Goku questioned, noticing the lack of mention of his other friends.
- Once again, I apologize. For ruining this good news, Warrior Son Goku – Gaia apologized, she hoped it wouldn't have to come to this so quickly – his world faced a threat even worse than Frieza. Two powerful individuals appeared and for a long time no one could defeat them. They were super gifted Androids that were created on their planet, more specifically by the sole survivor of the Red Patrol army.
- Red Patrol androids? Are you referring to beings like Octavio? – Goku questioned, somewhat startled and with a drop of sweat running down his cheek.
- The being you know as Octavio was a robot that developed its own personality and a great appreciation for you. But these Androids are cybernetic humans, whose power far surpasses their current transformation as a Super Saiyan. They are beings that enjoy destroying and murdering everything that crosses their path, whether they are human beings, animals or nature itself – Alaya responded without completely believing that beings modified by only humans had such an enormous level of power.
- Wait, you said no one could defeat them? What happened to my friends? With Vegeta? Were none of them able to defeat them? – he asked desperately, because if those individuals were so strong, even Vegeta must have helped to defeat them.
-No – Alaya answered without hesitation – his friends. Krillin, Ten Chin Han, Yamcha, Chos, Piccolo. And even Vegeta, who managed to transform into Super Saiyan, were killed. Only his son, Son Gohan, survived and trained Vegeta's son, Trunks. With the Namekian dead, you should know that the Dragon Balls are just simple stones and reviving anyone was no longer an option.
-So... everyone is dead... and I couldn't help them – he said angrily while clenching his fists out of humiliation and frustration at not having been with his friends.
- It's not all bad news, Warrior Son Goku. His son, Son Gohan. After 14 years of fighting with those Androids, he managed, together with Trunks, to defeat and eliminate them. Obtaining a power much greater than his - Alaya added, gaining a more relaxed and amazed look from the Saiyan - and it was all thanks to us...
-It was all thanks to you - Gaia said hastily, interrupting her counterpart - her son, she remembered that you always seemed to exceed your own limits even when you thought you had already reached the maximum of your power. That inspired him to surpass the powers of an ordinary Super Saiyan. In this way managing to save his world. Who lives in complete peace and harmony, even when you were not there to protect her. His son, Son Gohan, achieved unimaginable power, thanks to you.
Finally, after only receiving bad news. Goku smiled, because, although his friends had died, his son managed to avenge them. He managed to save the earth and even surpassed his powers. Since he broke down the ship he was imprisoned on and saved him from Raditz. He knew that his son would one day surpass his powers.
She felt so proud of his son that she couldn't help but feel furious with herself for not having been with him. To see him become a man or help him overcome his powers. And even more so, knowing that he would never be able to see him again. Well, even if the story of parallel universes sounded too fanciful. He himself had experienced things that he would never have imagined as a child.
Furthermore, he was not stupid, since those beings told him that he was not in their world, he concentrated all his energy to surround both spheres without them realizing it, where at the slightest disturbance in his energy, he would know that they were lying to him. But unfortunately for him, the two of them were only telling the truth.
- Thank you - Goku said with a small smile - at least I know that the Earth is safe with my son taking care of it.
- You have nothing to thank, Warrior Son Goku - Gaia said, feeling extremely relaxed due to the Saiyan's compression - I know it is too early for me to assimilate all this. But we would like to ask you a favor.
- A favor? – Goku repeated, somewhat confused – of course, tell me what it is about.
- Vera, Warrior Son Goku. Now this is his world, his planet Earth. Generally speaking, this world is less advanced when it comes to technology. But it evolves quite quickly, but other than that and the extinction of the dinosaurs, this Earth is identical to yours. But here, there is something called the Holy Grail, it is very similar to the Dragon Balls, since they can also fulfill wishes, only they are not as powerful and with the only difference that, once the wish is fulfilled, the Holy Grail must be recharged. for sixty years instead of just one year – Alaya explained in the most summary way she could, because the last thing she wanted was to confuse the Saiyan even more.
- And to obtain it, seven magicians invoke seven Heroic Spirits, people who were known for their exploits, their bravery or acts against the world. Magicians are called Masters and Heroic Spirits are called Servants. These couples fight each other, until there is only one couple standing and that couple will obtain the Holy Grail – Gaia added, seeing the understanding in the Saiyan's eyes.
-And I guess they're fighting for that grail right now, right? – Goku commented, understanding the situation.
- Indeed. This fight is called: The War for the Holy Grail. Both Masters and Servants will fight to the death to obtain the Grail and there are those who will use any means to obtain the Holy Grail. Each Heroic Spirit falls into a category, which are: Saber, Lancer, Archer, Rider, Caster, Assassin and Berserker. There is an extra category, an eighth Master and an eighth Servant. And the moment you appeared in this world, you became that Eighth Servant. So you can fight for the Holy Grail – Alaya said normally, getting confused by the serious look that the Saiyan was giving her.
- Do you want me to fight to kill innocent people? – Goku questioned seriously, because he was not willing to kill for something so absurd.
- No way, Warrior Son Goku - Gaia responded immediately - those called Servants are already dead. It could be said that they came to this world because they have a wish to fulfill and they could not fulfill it in life. Something similar to when your grandfather, Son Gohan, returned from the other world for a day to fight with you as a child.
Gaia was already getting tired of having to hastily explain things to correct her counterpart's mistakes in not explaining things correctly causing them to misunderstand what they really wanted. But when she saw the black-haired man nod in understanding she calmed down a little and continued.
- These Servants can only be in the world if they have a connection. And they have it thanks to their Masters. If you kill the Master, you remove the Servant's connection and he will eventually disappear. But you don't have to resort to that, since you do defeat the Servant with a lethal attack. He will not die, he will only return from where he came from and the Master will no longer be able to continue fighting.
-Then I can fight without having to kill anyone. But if I kill those Masters I would win immediately. That doesn't sound fun - Goku said calmly and relaxing a little - wait, but they said I'm one of those, a Servant, did I die again? Who is my Master?
- You have not died. That's the strange thing. He was accepted as a Servant, but is still alive. Once this War is over. The Servants will return from where they came, but it seems that you will stay here - Alaya responded, not understanding how that being could have a look that could make him shudder with fear and then change to a carefree and friendly face - And as for who his Master is , is the white-haired woman he saw as soon as he arrived.
- Oh, I remember. She had a tattoo very similar to the Four Star Sphere that my grandfather gave me – Goku commented remembering who she was talking about.
- That tattoo is called Command Spells, it is very powerful magic. Capable of doing many things, including controlling the Servant, so that he does not rebel against his Master. You already witnessed his power, when you couldn't move your body. But apparently, they won't be able to affect you, since you broke a direct order very easily – Alaya said earning a nod from the Saiyan.
-Warrior Son Goku, I know that right now you may think that we are asking you to fight in this War and win the grail so that no evil person gets hold of it and makes an evil wish – Gaia commented, prepared to release his request.
- The truth is yes. I feel seven very high energies of what is called Mana and at least two of them are evil – Goku commented, somewhat confused.
-No, you see, our world is not like yours. He is currently plunged into great darkness and when we saw the world of him. We realized that maybe you can do the same for this planet that is now yours too. We want you to protect him, to guide him on a good path and thus achieve the peace that you achieved in your world – Gaia asked with deep respect.
- We may be asking a lot. Especially with the loss of your world. But we are the guardians of this world, we have tried to save it many times and failed countless times. And now that you have arrived, you are possibly the only hope this planet has for achieving peace – Alaya added in the same respectful tone as his counterpart – we are confident that you can be its savior.
- Wait, Salvador? Peace? I? - Goku repeated in disbelief while he pointed a finger at himself. "Don't you think they're exaggerating?"
- No!
The perfectly synchronized response of both beings, although somewhat desperate. It generated a huge drop of sweat on the back of the black-haired man's neck that he couldn't fully understand, which was what made those two believe that he could bring peace to an entire planet that they said was immersed in darkness.
- Well, they said they can see the future, right? So, that means that they already know that I will do everything they say – Goku commented with a smile, trying to understand those two.
- No.
Goku fell back due to the synchronized response of both of them. They seemed to be quite smart, but the reality was that like the black-haired man, they could be quite clumsy.
- What happens is that since you arrived, we cannot see the future of our world. The future is now uncertain and although we know what once was, we do not know what can now be – Alaya explained to an already upright Saiyan.
-And it is because of our inability to see the future of our world, which makes us believe even more that you will be able to achieve what we have never been able to – Gaia added.
Goku was left meditating on those words seriously. He was no longer in his world. That Holy Grail seemed weaker than the Dragon Balls and if so, he couldn't ask her to return to his world. But, even if everything seemed difficult to believe and several of his friends died, he would know that they would not regret anything. They were strong and would undoubtedly give their lives to protect the Earth. And his son would become more powerful.
He definitely lost everything and couldn't even say goodbye. He just hoped that his friends and family weren't mad at him. Now he had to face reality, he was trapped in another world, in a war and two beings asked him to protect the Earth.
It was certainly a lot to deal with and process. But while he got the idea of everything that was happening. Fight against strong opponents, with techniques you never witnessed or imagined. They would help him clear his mind.
Well, that girl with the invisible sword was undoubtedly strong, she had a very good and unique fighting style. And if she remembered correctly, she objected to continuing fighting when her body was paralyzed, that meant that she enjoyed a fight in equal condition. He smiled as he remembered that strong character, because her fight was unfinished and he really wanted to finish it.
- Very well, I accept - Goku said with confidence in his words - I still don't fully understand what is happening or why they have so much hope in me, but I will try to do the best I can and I promise that I will not let someone evil obtain that Grail.
- We appreciate your help. And we know that she will be able to achieve it – Gaia said with joy in her voice.
- Now, you will be able to fight in this War, as Son Goku, under Class: Legend. The people of this world will surely confuse his name with another individual. Who is said to have been a King with a power superior to that of the gods. We won't ask you to hide where he comes from or who he really is, but we suggest you keep it a secret for a while. The people of this world are not as open-minded as in yours – Alaya commented, hoping to make things easier for the Saiyan – although we will ask him to keep our conversation absolutely secret, as well as our identities.
- I understand. Well, I think I should go, meet my Master and know who I'm going to fight with – Goku said with a smile.
-Before she leaves, allow us to repair her outfit.
Goku's body was wrapped in very bright and flickering white particles, he already had his Turtle School Gi perfectly repaired. It was exactly the same as when he arrived on Namek.
- Wow, amazing, even this suit weighs too - Goku said in amazement, jumping in place and launching some punches and kicks.
- We thought you would like it better this way - Alaya said - now we will teleport him to where the fight between Servants is taking place.
- It won't be necessary - Goku said shaking his head - I prefer to get there on my own. It's a little far, but I think I can get there just in time.
- If that's the case. Warrior Son Goku. We thank him, for everything, for what he is doing for our world. We have complete hope that you will achieve the change that this world needs – Gaia thanked as the healing dome began to disappear.
- See you soon, Warrior Son Goku. We wish you the best on this new journey – Alaya said respectfully.
- S… yes… yes, c… cla…. Of course – Goku stammered because of the cold he felt, while he rubbed his arms to keep warm.
The black-haired man began to levitate until he was several meters above the mountain where he had crashed. He concentrated in the direction where he felt the strongest Mana energies and realized that most of them were no longer just gathered in the same place. zone. But now most were at the same point and some were fighting.
-Milk. Gohan. Friends. I will protect this new world, I promise you.
And with those last words, Goku was enveloped in a very powerful reddish aura and without warning, he flew at an unimaginable speed in the direction of Fuyuki. All under the watchful eye of the wills of the world.
- Why didn't you let me tell him that we were the ones who gave Son Gohan the idea of surpassing the power of an ordinary Super Saiyan? – Alaya questioned, not understanding his counterpart's decision – thanks to the fact that there was still that tiny gap between our worlds, we were able to introduce that thought into his mind. We stopped him from dying and therefore saved all the lives that died until that woman Bulma built that time machine.
-Because he would have felt obligated – Gaia responded, confusing her counterpart even more – if we had told him that it was we who prevented her son from dying and then asked him to save our world. He would have thought that we are asking him since he owes us something or he may think that we are trying to manipulate him. If that were the case, he wouldn't fight with everything he has to save this world. And it wasn't us, it was Son Goku's will that inspired his son, we only gave him a clue, the rest was his work.
- Understand. Now we just have to wait. Watch the next events unfold and hope that the decision we make is the right one.
- For the first time in millennia. I am sure this will be the right decision.
Fuyuki Docks – moments before
The peace of the night on the docks was being disturbed by the great fight between Saber and Lancer, where at no time was either of them willing to lose. The fight had already destroyed the concrete they were standing on and several containers had been destroyed.
On the other hand, Kiritsugu had already managed to locate Lancer's Master, he was right above a warehouse watching the entire fight like a fool believing that no one would touch him. He had it within range and he just had to pull the trigger to finish it, it was something so simple. But he did not. Well, on the platform to which he refused to go, there was Assassin. Watching the fight as if it were nothing. Even though, he was supposed to be dead.
Analyzing the complications, Kiritsugu could not kill Lancer's Master, as he would reveal his position and Assassin could kill him before he even blinked. Therefore he limited himself to observing the fight, but already formulating a contingency plan.
- Stop playing, Lancer. Use your Noble Phantasm and finish Saber once and for all. It is better to finish off the opponent who claims to be the strongest. That will demonstrate our superiority.
A male voice brimming with confidence and arrogance echoed throughout the dock, attracting the attention of everyone present. It was the voice of Lancer's Master, a handsome older man in his mid-late thirties, with light blonde hair and bright green eyes. He wears a navy blue coat with white gloves, black pants and shoes. While his coat appears simple, his rigidly structured decorations show individualism.
- As you wish, Master – Lancer said with a confident smile.
Dropping his golden spear to the ground, Lancer proceeded to grab the red spear from him with both hands, where the purple bandages began to disappear, leaving only the spear behind. Arturia put herself on guard when she realized that that spear could indeed be her Noble Phantasm and if it was, she had to be careful.
- Saber, you have used wind magic to hide your sword, right? I guess you must have your reasons, possibly if I saw her, I would know what your identity is. But you no longer need to continue hiding it, because I already know its dimensions.
- I'm sorry, but that doesn't impress me. I have already fought against someone who could discover that as soon as I threw my first blow – Arturia commented with a confident smile.
- I really have to admit that the Servant you fought with is many steps ahead of me. But I will prove to be better when he manages to pierce your skull with my spear – Lancer declared with a defiant smile.
Rushing forward, both Servants resumed the fight and just as their weapons collided. The wind that covered Saber's sword dissipated, revealing part of his sword. Jumping back, Saber was in complete disbelief at what she had just witnessed, but before she could begin to analyze what had happened. Lancer launches a powerful thrust forward, straight into his opponent's skull, which he manages to dodge by moving to the left of him.
But not letting his opponent have the slightest chance to recover, Lancer uses his spear to deliver a crescent slash. Which Saber was able to block with her sword. But once again, the wind surrounding his sword dissipated.
And continuing with a series of quick and powerful thrusts, Lancer forced his opponent to retreat and block his attacks with his sword, allowing him with each block to analyze Saber's sword in more detail.
Feeling upset for not understanding what was happening, Saber briefly remembered her fight against the Servant of Irisviel and in a risky move, she took advantage of one of Lancer's thrusts and, releasing her left hand from the handle of her sword, struck with her palm. the blade of the tip of the spear. She managed to deflect the trajectory of the spear, leaving a perplexed Lancer who couldn't believe what his eyes were showing him.
Her surprise had to be quick, though, as Saber launched a crescent cut with her sword straight at her neck. But reacting quickly she manages to jump back, managing to distance herself from her opponent.
-"His spear is nullifying the Invisible Air" – Arturia calmly thought about the situation.
- A very bold move I must say. She had never met anyone who faced weapons with their bare hands. But that little trick won't do you twice – Lancer declared walking towards his opponent confidently.
Saber watched as Lancer lunged forward ready for another attack. Analyzing things quickly, her cunning move worked almost miraculously. Well, she was not a hand-to-hand fighter.
Which is why she couldn't risk repeating something similar. But, what she could do was deflect the tip of that spear with her armor at the last second and thus have Lancer close enough to her to cut his throat.
And wielding her sword with both hands, above her head, Saber ran ready for her final blow. Moving nimbly to her left, she was ready for the tip of the spear to deflect and attack, but the moment she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, she jumped away from her opponent, whom she looked at in disbelief, because at the tip There was blood from his spear.
Looking down at her right side, she realized that it was covered in blood, but as she brought her hand to the wound, she realized that her armor was intact. There wasn't even a single scratch.
- Know, please wait! – Irisviel shouted, being surrounded by a silver glow that immediately healed her friend's wound.
- Thank you very much, Irisviel! Your healing is working! – Arturia exclaimed gratefully, putting herself on guard again – "My armor should have protected me from that simple attack. And even my armor doesn't have any scratches, how is this possible?"
Focusing on what little she had, Saber began to quickly work on an answer. For every time the tip of that spear touched her sword, the Invisible Air was dissipated and her magical armor was completely bypassed by that spear and in this way she received a cut where her armor did not receive any scratches.
- Now I know. The secret of your spear, Lancer – she declared, earning an amused look from her opponent – that red spear cancels Mana, right?
- Hey, so your armor is made of Mana. But yes, you are right. My spear is capable of canceling Mana. For me, it's like you're naked.
-If you think you have an advantage over me for having gone through my armor - said Arturia taking a step forward where her armor began to glow and then exploded into several fragments, leaving her only with her dress - let me tell you that you are very wrong. . Get ready, Lancer. That there will be no second chance for you.
- Kill or die. You turned your disadvantage into an advantage by giving up your armor. I couldn't expect anything less from someone so tenacious and elegant. I admit that. But, even then, you won't be able to win – Lancer commented, carefully taking a few steps back.
In a seemingly careless step, Lancer slips due to debris on the ground, causing him to fall. And taking this opportunity, Saber places her sword at her side, with the tip pointing backwards. Releasing all the Invisible Wind surrounding her sword at once, she shoots forward at enormous speed.
Although without warning, Lancer stops his supposed fall, only to smile arrogantly and bury his right foot in the ground and as he lifts it, from the rubble he takes out his golden spear, from which the bandages around it began to disappear. Taking his weapon with his free hand, he launches a powerful thrust certain of his victory.
Realizing too late that it was all a trap, Saber turned her body to his left, narrowly avoiding the thrust that was headed straight for his head. But, even so, he managed to cause a wound just above the wrist.
Falling to the ground, he began to spin and then jump to be as far away from his opponent as possible and analyze things from a distance.
Fuyuki Bridge
Standing on the huge red metal beams of a huge bridge, Waver was holding on with all his might to a beam so as not to fall and crash into the pavement, into a car or worse. Fall into the river and drown.
While standing on the edge of a beam, completely upright and showing his mettle, Rider was watching the battle between Saber and Lancer. It was an exceptional fight, they certainly lived up to expectations.
But the fact that no other servant was willing to show up was already starting to bore him, and as things were going, only one would emerge from the battle he was witnessing and that was not in his plans.
"No. No. This is definitely not good," he complained with slight annoyance etched into his voice.
- What's not good, Rider? – Waver asked extremely fearful, barely daring to look up.
-Lancer is ready to end their encounter, using his ultimate attack. And I'm sure Saber will soon resort to the same thing – he explained without taking his eyes off the front.
- But... but it's a good thing... because...
Waver couldn't finish saying due to Ryder's strong stomp on the metal beam that made it resonate completely. Forcing him to hold on even tighter so as not to fall.
- I would have liked to wait for more Servants to arrive. Especially that Servant who shook the entire world.
- I already told you it was Caster! He must have used some kind of Spell to make us believe that he is the most powerful! – He exclaimed, fearful and somewhat annoyed that his Servant did not pay attention to him.
- Do not be silly. What I witnessed was not the work of an arrogant warlock, it was that of a Servant. I thought it might be Saber. But the way things are going, I may end up losing – he complained authoritatively – and if that happens, it will be too late.
- Too late for what? – He repeated, not understanding anything – I thought you wanted to attack once they both finished their fight.
-That was in case more Servants appeared to answer Lancer's challenge. Since it is easier to defeat all our enemies with a direct attack, instead of hunting them one by one.
- To all? Do you want to fight everyone? – I question not believing the attitude he had.
- Just think about it. How many opportunities are there to cross swords with heroes from other eras? – He said with a big excited smile – if the six of them had gotten together, I wouldn't have hesitated in the slightest to confront them all. And looking at things, it's not yet time for Lancer or Saber to die.
- But why do you want them alive? This is a war to the death! – He complained with everything he had, only to be reprimanded by his Servant with a blow to the forehead that hurt a lot.
- Win without destroying, conquering, but without humiliating. That is the real conquest! – I recited his motto with pride as he unsheathed his sword.
Waver was rubbing his sore forehead while with the other he clung to the pillar to keep from falling. This was too much, his own Servant was giving him lessons, he was giving her orders. It's supposed to be the other way around. In truth he could not handle the King of the Conquerors, the great Iskandar or better known as Alexander the Great.
Rider, with an upward slash, released an enormous amount of lightning that surrounded him and from the sky a large battle chariot pulled by two Oxen. Which ran on the air as if there was something to run on.
- Enough watching. We'll join the battlefield, kiddo! – He declared with an excited smile.
- You're just talking crazy! Moron! – he complained, scared of being dragged into a freak fight.
"If you don't approve of what I do, stay here and watch," he proposed with a mocking smile.
- You'll be an idiot! I'm not staying here, I'm going with you! – I declared, trying in vain to contain my tears.
- Hahaha! Those are my Master's words! – Iskandar stated with an excited smile.
Fuyuki Docks
Saber stared at her opponent. He had managed to make a rather deep cut right on the arm that had that golden spear. But it was minimal damage compared to what she had planned and instead she now had a cut right on her tendon, which made it impossible for her to move her thumb.
- I see that you still won't let me win - Lancer commented with an excited smile - I admire that bravery.
- What are you waiting for to kill her, idiot? Stop talking and concentrate on finishing it once and for all – Kayneth complained with annoyance at the lack of effectiveness of her Servant.
"My sincerest apologies, my Master," Lancer said, watching how the wound on his arm was healed by his Master.
- Heal me once more, Irisviel! – Arturia asked because with her injury she would not be able to fight properly.
- I already did! My spell is working, your wound should be healed by now! – Irisviel exclaimed nervously due to the fact that her spell was not working, but she did not know the reason.
-Fortunately, my Gae Dearg, I convinced you that your armor was useless – said Lancer, referring to her red spear – and thanks to that you decided on it. Because if I had it, I would have covered you with my Gae Buidhe – she added referring to her red spear.
- Now I understand, that yellow spear inflicts cursed wounds that cannot be healed. While the red one cancels Mana and a mole under the right eye that confuses women - Arturia declared with annoyance at having been fooled so easily, but at least now she knew who she was fighting - The first Fianna knight, Diarmuid of the Radiant Face. It is an honor to face such an opponent.
- That's what I should say. A golden sword, that no Heroic Spirit could confuse - Diarmuid declared with an excited and pleased smile on his face - to be able to face the legendary King of Knights and deal him a blow. Apparently I'm not someone who should be underestimated. Now that we know our names, we can have a truly honorable fight as knights.
- I respect your deaths and I understand you - Arturia said with a smile, being turned into bluish air that completely returned her armor.
- Get ready, Saber! May I take your life in my next attack! – She stated with clear emotion in her voice as she stood in a fighting pose.
"If I don't take it from you first, Lancer," he said, sheathing his sword with just his right arm and ready to continue.
And without warning, when both Servants were about to resume their fight. Lightning strikes in the middle of both of them, confusing them greatly. Just after hearing a powerful war cry. And when they looked up, they could see a chariot pulled by two oxen that crossed the skies and landed right in the middle of the pair of Servants.
- Sheath their swords! You are in the presence of a King! – Iskandar declared, extending his arms to his sides and smiling smugly and arrogantly – I am Iskandar, King of the Conquerors! I was summoned as a Rider in this War!
Those present were incredulous at what they had just witnessed. But none more so than Lancer and Saber, who couldn't believe that this Servant had just revealed his identity as if nothing had happened. They were dumbfounded beyond comprehension. Where the one who was even more incredulous was Waver himself who could do nothing but watch with his jaw dropped as his Servant gave away his identity as if it were nothing.
- Fate has brought us together to fight for the Holy Grail. But first I want to ask you something – Iskandar said, observing the pair of Servants with a big friendly smile – Wouldn't you consider giving the Holy Grail to me and join my army?! If you do I will treat you as my equals! Follow me and I guarantee you will know the thrill of conquering the world together!
-I'm sorry, but I will reject that proposal - Diarmuid said, slightly amused by the nonsense he had heard - I made a pact and I will deliver the Holy Grail to my Master, the person who invoked me - he added, getting serious.
"Coming and interrupting our meeting between gentlemen, just to spout such nonsense, is a very serious offense, Rider," Arturia added with clear annoyance in her eyes.
- Mmmh, we can negotiate the reward - Iskandar proposed, trying to make him see reason.
- Be quiet! – Lancer and Saber shouted, angry that he even had his nonsense, startling him a little.
- Furthermore, I am also a monarch, the King of Brittany. I don't care that you are also a king, I will not lower myself to be subordinate to anyone - Arturia clarified sternly.
- Oh, this is a surprise. I never imagined that the King of Knights was a girl – Iskandar commented with a smile.
- Do you want to put this girl to the test, King of Conquerors? – Arturia questioned with fury for that comment about her sex.
- And I think the negotiations have reached this point. "It's a real shame," Iskandar murmured, letting out a sigh of disappointment.
- Rider, you're an idiot! – Waver shouted with rage at the foolish action of his Servant.
- I see. So it was you – Kayneth's voice resounded, attracting the frightened look of her student – I was wondering who was crazy enough to steal my summoning relic. But to be honest, I never imagined you had the courage... Waver Velvet-kun. I guess I'll have to take this opportunity to let you learn what it means for two wizards to fight to the death.
Feeling panic take over his body, Waver couldn't do anything but kneel and put his hands on his head in an attempt to not let anyone see the panic he was feeling or the tears he was about to shed. But before bursting into tears, he feels a hand on his shoulder and when he looks up, he sees his Servant giving him a big proud smile.
- Magician! It seems that you were going to be my Master instead of this little boy! The very idea makes me nauseous! – Iskandar declared loudly, shouting to the four winds – Only he who has the courage to be by my side on the battlefield can call himself my Master! A coward who doesn't even have the guts to show his face will never be able to fulfill that role!
After those harsh words, Rider laughed arrogantly, so that whoever was listening would know that he was considered less than a coward for not even showing his face. And it worked, because Kayneth, still hidden in the shadows and with no intention of coming out, could only twist his lips into a grimace of hatred. Since he could not tolerate the mockery of his person. Someone who came from a prestigious family of magicians of several generations.
That a simple Servant had the audacity to mock in front of everyone was something he could not forgive. Which is why he would make sure to torture the hell out of that poor bastard who was once his student. So that, in his suffering, he would understand, once and for all, what his place was.
- And for the others who are hidden! I know that they are spying on us while they hide in the shadows – Iskandar declared, impressed to the pair of knights who had not realized – Gather Heroic Spirits! And those who are too cowardly to show their faces, I want you to know, that Iskandar, King of the Conquerors! He completely despises them!
Waiting for his tirade to have some kind of effect, Saber looked around her waiting for some new Servant to appear. And that was when everyone witnessed how particular goldfish began to swirl just above a light post.
Where Gilgamesh materialized, standing on the lamp post, with his arms crossed and looking at everyone as inferior, like stray dogs. Especially those who had the nerve to call themselves kings and challenge him to appear.
- I see that you dogs only know how to bark nonsense. I am the only true king that exists in this world. All the others are nothing more than mere dogs – Gilgamesh declared with annoyance and arrogance, frowning even more when he saw that whoever he was waiting for did not appear.
- With such statements, then say your name. No King would hesitate to reveal his name to the enemy – demanded Iskandar, not very impressed with this new Servant.
- Are you demanding something from me? To me, your king? – Gilgamesh questioned angrily while golden portals began to form behind him – I will show you that a dog that wallows should not demand anything from his king.
Everyone was on guard when they saw how the tips of several weapons began to emerge from those portals. None of them were sure how he was planning to attack, but as far as they knew, that guy had managed to take down Assassin without much effort, so they should be careful.
In the deepest part of the dock, leaning against a wall, was Kariya smiling like a lunatic, because that unfortunate Tokiomi's Servant had finally appeared. This could be a fight to the death between all the Servants and Masters.
But he had his own priorities. Which were to finish off Tokiomi's Servant to humiliate him in front of the other Masters, humiliate him in front of the entire world, it was the right punishment for a trash like him.
And just as Archer pointed his weapons at Rider to finish him off once and for all. Black particles swirled right in front of everyone, almost like a black mist and once he disappeared he revealed Berserker. Who made his presence known with a powerful lunatic scream charged with incalculable rage, drawing all eyes to his person.
- Tell me, King of the Conquerors, why don't you suggest that guy join your army? – Diarmuid asked with some mockery.
- I would try, but he doesn't seem like someone who sits down to negotiate calmly - Iskandar responded simply - Childe, how powerful is that Servant? Tell me the parameters of it?
- No. I can't... - Waver responded with a drop of sweat running down his cheek - he is a Servant, there is no doubt about that. But something prevents me from reading its parameters.
- You are a fatal Master, but I can't blame you this time. There is something about that Servant that I don't like, I'm not surprised that you can't read his statistics – Iskandar said quite seriously at the development of events.
Archer watched as Berserker seemed to stare at him, analyzing, waiting for him to make some kind of move. And that really bothered him, because a poor bastard who couldn't even maintain his sanity, believed he had the right to even look in the same direction as him.
-Who gave you permission to look at me, mad dog? – Gilgamesh questioned with contempt, now pointing his portals at that unfortunate man – at least entertain me with your death, dog. This way my wait will be more pleasant.
Everyone witnessed how Archer fired two swords straight towards Berserker at enormous speed. But even so, Berserker was able to react to grab the first sword by moving to the right of him and making a quick turn, hitting the other sword with the one he already had. Generating an explosion that covered him. And once he dissipated, Berserker simply continued observing Archer.
- Is that guy really Berserker? – Diarmuid questioned, not believing that that class had such speed.
"He's quite skilled for someone who doesn't think rationally," Iskandar murmured analytically.
- Do you dare to stain my treasures with those filthy hands? – Gilgamesh questioned with annoyance.
With a look that reflected nothing but pure rage, Archer opened even more portals and from all of them swords, spears, axes, etc. emanated. All under the incredulous gaze of all the Masters and Servants, since such a quantity of weapons for a single Servant should be unthinkable.
Annoyed that this Servant had the nerve to look at him. He fired all the weapons that were protruding from the portals of him and continued to fire more. But once again Berserker made use of his great speed, catching a spear and along with the sword that he already possessed. He proceeded to deflect all the weapons that were thrown at him.
Either destroying them, blocking them or diverting them. Berserker did not allow any weapon launched as a projectile to reach him. And in each clash of weapons, he not only demonstrated his agility and strength. But also the great power of destruction generated by the clash of weapons.
Even the Servants who were witnessing the fight had to start moving, since several of the weapons that were deflected were landing near them and they had to repel them.
But when Berserker hit an ax with the sword he stole. It shoots towards the skies where no one paid attention to it, and ended up cutting the cable of the platform that held the cargo container that was on the white-haired girl, who was several meters away from the entire battle, completely focused on the fight.
The sound of something falling at high speed attracted everyone's gaze and to Saber's complete horror, he saw how a container was a few meters away from falling on Irisviel. Forgetting about the fight, he ran away in a hurry to get her to safety. But it was too late. The container landed abruptly, generating a large screen of smoke.
- IRISVIEL! – Arturia shouted in horror at what just happened.
Kiritsugu let go of his weapon and could do nothing but stare in complete shock at what had happened. No coherent thought came to mind. Well, he didn't even want to begin to believe what had happened. Once again he failed someone he loved and it cost him his life. Tears began to gather in his eyes and he fell to his knees, unable to stand. His breathing became erratic and all he could think about was what a mistake.
All the Servants and Masters watched as Saber stood paralyzed in place as she contemplated the death of her Master. Even Archer and Berserker stopped their altercation to contemplate the scene. Each and every one with their own reactions.
On Rider and Lancer's side, they looked with slight sadness at what happened, because that was not the correct way to say goodbye to a king. It should not disappear just because of the accidental death of his Master. She should leave in the heat of battle. Berserker looked impassively at what happened or rather he looked attentively at Saber's figure, not caring about anything else.
While Archer watched everything with an amused smile, not being able to believe how hilarious the situation was. And he felt good, because finally one of those dogs that had the privilege of being in his presence was able to entertain him properly.
- No... not you... Irisviel... - Arturia murmured in shock.
Without thinking twice, she was ready to run back to where her friend was, hoping that she was still alive and that she could save her. Well, she owed him, by not being able to protect her like she was supposed to.

Just as Saber stepped forward. From the screen of smoke the container was thrown towards the skies as if it were a simple piece of garbage. The container fell and bounced several times on the concrete with a loud metallic sound, until it ended up crashing against a warehouse.
A look of complete disbelief appeared on the faces of everyone present, who stared at the smoke screen, only for a powerful gust of air to completely dissipate it. Revealing that Irisviel was on her knees with her hands on her head and her eyes closed.
Which when you open your eyes and look up. She couldn't help but gasp in surprise and blink repeatedly. Well, in front of her, with her right arm extended in front of her. There was her Servant with a completely serious look, which she cautiously observed at everyone present.
- That was close - Goku said, turning to see the white-haired girl with a calm look - it's good that he arrived just in time... eh... amm... - placing his fists on his waist and looked up trying to find an answer, but in the end he gave up. He gave up and gave the woman a nervous smile – I'm sorry, what was your name? – He asked, scratching the back of his neck with shame.
God love that entrance so unique and worthy of Goku. Greetings Raza. Well here we are with one more chapter of this great story, modesty aside. I swear, but I really swear that every time I write a new chapter I have this feeling of adrenaline for having advanced in the development of the story. Because I mean it, being able to develop this story that is with two of my favorite animes of all time, is just great.
Another thing I want to tell you is about the backgrounds for the chapters, I made them in my free time and I think they turned out quite well, but tell me, what do you think?
Now without anything else to say, let's start with some curiosities of the chapter.
Lancer or Diarmund, is someone who respects chivalry above all and his loyalty to his Master is just as strong. Since being able to be loyal and chivalrous is practically his wish in war. His mole allows him to make any woman who looks at him fall in love with him. But not in the case of Irisviel, since she is a Homunculus and her enchantment magic does not have the same effect on her.
And in Arturia's case, she has a special ability due to her status as a Saber and is immune to falling for her charm. But something curious here, due to this fact, Diarmund begins to praise Saber whenever he can, in the face of any demonstration of bravery, power or chivalry.
But Arturia, even if she returns some of these compliments, usually comes back to the fact that she had already fought someone stronger and more tenacious, as soon as she was summoned, and that she will not allow herself to die until that fight finds a winner, in a fair and chivalrous manner.
Now with Goku, Gaia and Alaya. The explanation of the multiverse was made in the most simplified way possible so that the Saiyan could understand it. And let's remember that Goku already had knowledge of the Time Room, which is another dimension. With that knowledge and with the explanations of Gaia and Alaya, it is more than clear that he would understand the situation in which he finds himself.
And no, he hasn't gotten over it, he didn't get over the loss of the world of him, friends and family from one second to the next and much less he cared little about me. But he did understand the fact that he could not return, even with the Dragon Balls or the Holy Grail. But given the circumstances, he prefers to rely on the favor they asked of him. That, at the moment, he is very much in line with his preferred lifestyle, which is fighting against strong opponents. And another thing, for those who noticed, Goku could have died in the future in this story from a heart disease, but thanks to that dome, they managed to cure him, even though the disease did not exist. Small details to pay attention to.
She does this so she can cope with his loss, focus on something else while he finishes assimilating everything. It's not like other fics that tell him that he's no longer in his world and without a hint of emotion or remorse he accepts it.
And regarding the events that occurred with Androids 17 and 18, with Gohan and Trunks, nothing Gaia and Alaya said was a lie. Gohan and Trunks surpassed the powers of an ordinary Super Saiyan. And it was because of that gap that they mention. It wasn't big enough to return the Saiyan to his world, but it was big enough to return one help for another.
Gaia and Alaya, as they already said, saw the future of the timeline where Goku came from, which continued its course as we all know it, with Trunks traveling to the past or rather to another timeline where Goku still exists. They saw the later Super Saiyan transformations, and they saw the SSJ phase 2 transformation.
And with this knowledge. They gave a push to Gohan from the future which he believed that he had already reached his maximum power and believed that the only one who could become so powerful to defeat the androids would be Trunks.
Thus achieving a completely different story from the one we already know that, if I ever feel like it, I will write it. And for those who say that I already gave them the end with Gaia and Alaya's comments. Does matters? Of course the ending is important, but it is more important how they got there and that it is consistent with the path they took. That's why the end of Naruto Shippuden was so disgusting, because everything I just told you was overshadowed by you-know-what.
Well, let's move on to Iskandar, the most macho of males, the guy literally has no qualms about showing himself in front of everyone and revealing his identity. He is a guy who likes to fight and be in the heat of battle, but he is completely honorable and respects the values of his opponents when they deserve to be respected. He never regrets his decisions and is proud to go through life with a smile on his face.
Or, for those who aren't entirely sure, the parameters are the statistics that allow heroic spirits to be summoned in a class that reflects the strengths and weaknesses they had in life.
Parameters are classified with five main ranks, which, from lowest to highest, are: E, D, C, B and A. Each parameter can also have a + or a ++. Although there is a sixth that is EX. These values serve to measure certain qualities of the other servants and know to a certain extent how strong they are.
It is the Masters who can make use of this ability through Spells, as happened with Waver, but in the case of Berserker, he has a spell that makes it impossible for other Masters to see his parameters.
There are many more, but in general, the parameters that can be seen and taken into account the most are: Strength, resistance, agility, magical power, luck and heroic treasure.
And finally (pardon the redundancy) the end. I wanted Goku to appear in front of everyone in a unique way, to feel like he wasn't like the rest and I think he achieved it quite well, especially with that soundtrack and of course, ending the chapter with something very typical of Goku. Appearing too serious to not even know his Master's name.
Yes, that ends up covering all or most of the curiosities of the chapter. I hope you liked it, you know, if so, vote, comment and share. That way they motivate me to continue with the story and help it become better known and grow. With nothing more to say, see you in another chapter, see you later race!
