"flipper" mike said in shock.
She step forward till she was standing next to him. "You need to read this sir, I'm please Kate isn't here" she pass him a file where he open it up and read what it said
"What is it" Jo asked
"commander white is responsible for transferring Kate to Darwin instead of here few years ago and she try to transferred Kate back to Darwin which her plan fail"
"How do you know about it" mike asked as he look up at her
"Kate told me, I made couple of calls, I received that file yesterday."
"I'll let Steve know" mike said
"Captain marshal also received a copy sir"
"you try to split mike and Kate up" Jo said angry at Maxine

"Yes do you know of a women she went to high school with you, Candy Gibson"
"Yeah she was my high school sweet heart she was going to collage and I was joining the navy, how do you know her"
She look at mike then she pulled out an envelope and pass it to him "I read mum diaries, in one of them was this envelope. On the page she wrote that in nineteen ninety two she went to see you when she got your home address. A blonde headed women who was pregnant answered the door. She ask the women to give you the envelope to you. She took the envelope and said she would... when mum was walking pass and open window she stop and look in side. She saw the women open the envelope and pulled out the letter and read what it said. She was angry and tore it up and throw it in the bin. Mum walk away heart broken. When she got home she rewrote the letter hopping one day you would know what was in that letter and she was sad knowing that you moved on"

"Yes I do, it was commander white I check out she was seven months pregnant with Ryan at that time" they all turn to Maxine in shock

"Mike and mum they were sleeping together for over a year. From mum diary there was one entry where she put that the condom that mike was using end bit broke and they didn't know till well you know the end. Cause of that, that is when I was conceived. Mum got her dates mess up she thought she wouldn't get pregnant but She found out she was pregnant with me two months after Mike left for his training. She knew it was not only important to him but to his family. So she and my grand parents keep it quiet about who my father is. She got in her diary that the day I was born was the saddest and happiest day of her life and she was going to love me like she loved Mike here till she was able to find him. She was going to tell him about me till she saw commander white. "After I was assign up here I went to have DNA test done. It took a while till a ninety eight percent mach came back. Mike is my father"

"the file is why" then she turn to Maxine and gave her a cold hard look
"You destroyed my family commander white you are not going to destroy Mike and Kate family cause you can't have what Kate got. You have destroyed many lives cause of your own selfish act." Flipper said yelling at Maxine
"well you sure got the Flynn temper" Jo said
"i get that from my father but I get the compassionate from my mother side"
"Mike like that to" Jane said
"Yes I know." then she turn to Mike who stood up looking at her

"Yes I know I look like mum but I got your eyes, nose, chin and temper"

"We got a lot of catching up to do" mike said then they pulled apart.

"I know you got a lot of questions to ask, we can do that later if you like"
"Why not now" Jo asked.
"Cause at the moment Hammersley crew and there families are at Mike place with a double celebration"
"what celebration" Kelly asked
"Ray Walsmen has been found guilty and sent to prison for life with no parole and one of the crew member wife is pregnant"
"Really well that dose cause for a celebration. But why celebrate crew member wife pregnancy?" Jane asked
"Sally she had two miscarriages, Swain... Chris and her decided to wait till her second trimester before shearing the good news with the crew" Flipper said

"Why don't we all meet back at my place, we can talk more there" Mike said

Kate and the others were having a great time till Kate saw who showed up so she walk over to them while Holding Vicky in her arms.
"Mike text me to tell me you were coming" they all hug
"He said he was going to give you the heads up and who is this little cutie" Jane asked
"This is my god daughter Vicky" they look at Kate in shock
"Pete and Nikki daughter" Jo asked

"Yeah well after reading his e-mail we got together and flew here. We all yelled at Maxine in the main room in front of every one" Jo said
"Maxine asked a guy to call security. I say why so you can have us arrested cause of when when learn about you" Jane said

"We found out some thing else this afternoon that shock all of us" Kelly said

They walk over to where the crew is and talk to them as well congratulate Swain and Sally. Kate heard Jane giving Sally tips on sexy items to buy and wear when Nikki walk over to them.
"I don't know, I never buy those sort of things" Sally said.
"Sally what is swain favorite color" Nikki asked while smiling

When Mike and Flipper return Ryan and Patrick was with them. They all carry bags and boxes of drinks with them when they walk around from the garage. They went and put the items on the tables then Mike and the boys return back to Mike and Flipper car where they went to get more items when Kate walk over to flipper

Then they walk over to where the kids are. She intrude due Ryan and Patrick to connor, Grace, Mary, Patrick, Tommy and Micheal while in side Mike and Kate sat down in the family room.

"Read this" He past her the folder, she open it and read what it said. Kate was shock when she read about who was behind her transferred to Darwin. When she finish reading the report.
She look up at Mike in shock "commander white was behind it"
"Yes"

"she try to split us up Kate"

"yes..." then he showed her the envelope that in his hands. He pass it to Kate
"I learn I got a daughter which I didn't know about, please read it"
"A daughter, how old is she?" Kate asked
"Twenty six" Kate look at him in shock

"Yes, please read the letter"
Kate open the envelope and pulled out the letter when she saw the photo, she pulled it out, it was a photo of a teenager holding a baby in her arms. Kate look closer to the teenager then her eyes widen as she look up at mike
"no way, flipper"
"Yes, I just found out hour ago my self"
Kate open the letter and read what it says. Kate was shock as she read the letter. When she finish reading it she look up at Mike.
"then how long flipper knew you were her father"
"Not long she had DNA test done since all she knew that her father... me being an officer in the navy. She just found out couple months ago that I was her father. She told me she read Candy Diaries and learn more not only about me but the reason why she didn't want to tell me and when she decided to tell me"

"when... mac was little Candy was seeing a guy at the time, he ask her to marry him. But she was still in love with me so she track me down... When she found me she drop by at my place one day only to see pregnant women answering the door. She gave the women a letter then left. But Candy saw through an open window the women open the envelope and read the letter and saw the photo she rip it up and put it in the bin"

"It was Maxine. She was pregnant with Ryan at the time. She pop around for a visit that one day. I remember I had to go to the shop to get some groceries since I just return from six week patrol the day Maxine and Candy showed up. I didn't even know that Candy visit. Mac said in Candy diary, Candy thinks that Maxine is my wife and expecting our first child. She never knew Kate. She ended up marrying the guy only to be killed by him few years later" Kate put her hand in Mikes, while looking at him
"do you think there would have been a chance for you and Candy if you knew about Mac?"
"No, she hated moving around a lot. When her father was in the army they move from base to base. She hated it. In the Navy it would be like the army but worse"

"Shock, this past couple of weeks has been a shocker for us"

"when we had our last shore leave. I took the boys to met connor. We talk, I told him every thing Mike so he could under stand and you won't get into trouble. He knows that you don't know about me and the boys and I did spend three days with him. Even Dylan showed up for couple of days while there. I told him about what I've done with my life, he smile when I told him that I'm in the navy, that made him smile. Told him about my up bringing, jokes I played on others. He said to me, your father was like that at your age. Did you know he put a whoppy cushion under the admiral of the fleet chair at graduation. I said I heard about that but I did one better. He asked me what did I do..." mac smile
"I said I put whoopy cushion under all of guests chairs and microphone attach to the back of the chairs so every one heard them. He laugh" mike and Kate laugh
"Like father like daughter" Kate said
"That what he said. I told him that the chief of the navy found out about it and he had words with me I remember him saying to me do you know mike Flynn. I said no sir why sir... he said to me... He did that to me few years ago, I swear if you were his daughter it would be like father like daughter"

"Yes and I did bump it into him, he in the home where Connor is. I spoke to him"
"did you how is he"
"not good, he got bowel cancer"
"Really" mike said
"Yes I spoke to him, he didn't remember me till I told him about the whoopy cushion he remember. I said to him remember when you ask me about Mike Flynn, he said he remember the talk, he ask me why I asked him. I told him that you are my father, he was shock. I told him every thing. He said to me...god help the navy" Kate and mike grin.
"I laugh and ask him if he knows Connor from the home, he said yes they play cards and in door bowls together. I said to him that he is your grand father. He look at me and told me he didn't click on to the last Name since there few navy officers with Flynn last name"
"Wow talk about shockers" Kate said
"Yes it is" then she stood up
"I'll go and keep an eye on the crew, bomber firing up the barbeque"
"Ok thanks Mac"
"no worries, I'll leave you two to talk" then she walk out of the family room.
Mike turn to Kate "Like father like daughter" Mike put his hand on top of hers
"She did one better than me"
"all the guest, I wonder who else was there"
"We will have to ask her. This is going to take time, not just for me but for you also" Mike said
