If this comes out before Tuesday it's because I'm heading to a place with no WIFI so I have to put it out now.

Anyway, enjoy!

Chapter 65 Angel of death.

"Gather Senbonzakura."

At my command, the Sringflys in the immediate area gathered, fluttering around the barrier unable to get in.

"Heh?" the red hair laughed. "Nothing is getting through our barrier, nothing gets in and nothing gets out!" I could probably get through with a little force but I decided against it. The springflys disappeared in a puff of smoke making the Uzumakis smirk.

"Not so tough now are you!?"

They attacked at once leaping towards me with blood-crazed eyes. For a moment I thought insulting their dead was a low blow, but then I remembered that they killed the Uchiha clan I was planning to save and lost all sympathy.

Drip!

Blood dripped from my palm onto the ground. The blood glowed pink and springflys burst from it, forming a barrier around me. The uzumakis whined as their sharp wings scratched them and forced them back.

"Tsk"

It was my time to smirk.

"If they can't get in I'll just open a door inside for them," I looked at their glaring faces. "I'm going to kill you now."

With that, the sprindflys circled me and clung to my body. I couldn't resist this prime opportunity.

I reached forward and they landed on my hand, folding their bodies to become like scales. I twirled and more latched on forming scales as I moved. They wrapped around my legs; with a stomp of my feet those that couldn't fit flew up to my back where they formed wings and a halo above my head. When all the pink petals cleared the transformation was complete. Almost.

It was imperfect but it was what it would do.
Pink scales formed gloves and boots, it was supposed to be a full body transformation according to my mother, but I wasn't there yet, so I only had hand and leg armor. As for the wings on my back and the halo, things the Springflys decided on their own.

"Do you think growing wings make any difference!?" They rushed me once again, their chains ready to impale me.

Clink!

The chains bounced off my scaled arm as I swatted it away. I severed the look of surprise on his face before delivering a roundhouse kick that three flew. Two managed to dodge and attack in a flurry of Tai and kenjutsu. I felt like I was fighting Tenten and Lee at the same time. Well, they were nothing compared to those too.

I performed a triple backflip and flew in the air. I didn't need the wings to fly but it was fun to use them. With a flap of my wings, blade-like feathers rained down on them.

Chains formed a dome around them shielding them from the downpour.

I cut fly and fell down, my legs high.

Shatter!

Boom!

The chains broke and the ground dented under the force of my ax kick. Or rather the toughness of the scales. The Harutobu were the weakest of their species and were equivalent to tadpoles. Mom said those of higher standing were more dragon than butterfly. I don't doubt the Uzumaki clan has sealed one or two, but these guys were errand boys, they wouldn't have the seals of someone like Mito or Kushina.

Their ultimate move was useless against me. They seemed to realise their situation as they summoned blades instead.

"Water style, water bullet!"

"Earth wall," I stamped the ground and a slab of earth rose. Shielding me from the attack. Pink petals gathered in my hand as their blades drew close. Our blades clashed as they engaged in kenjutsu. As they attacked all at once I summoned more blades to fight them off simultaneously, using the springflys as surveillance so I was never caught off guard.

Or so I thought.

The ground rumbled and the earth rose up to grab my legs. I leaped into the air only to find chains chasing me.

'They used the earth attack as a diversion?' I was impressed. The chains caught my legs and grounded me. Before I could break from it I was attacked on both sides. My wings formed a shield that protected me from their vicious attacks but it was but a diveration.

"This dome will be your burial ground," one yelled. Chains of varying sizes, sprung from his back and rain down upon me. I took the halo from my head and threw it like a disk towards the attack. The halo spun and shield me from above as well. Covered on all sides.

They clicked their tongue but didn't withdraw.

"Now!"

A brilliant light shone drawing my eyes. Before me stood the final Uzumaki with a light bow in hand aiming right at me. I could only laugh. Chains held my hands and feet, and I was cornered, my back to the barrier.

"This is the wrath of the Uzumaki!"

The arrow flew through the air and hit home. Right in the chest, where my scar resided.

'What was it with people and aiming for that spot?'

"Gah!" I coughed blood, the pain ringing in my ear. The surrounding Uzumaki retreated as the arrow began to glow.

It exploded right in my face.

Booom! The ground shook and blown away debris fell back to the ground.

"Yoshi!" They cheered.

"She wasn't so though Dattebo!"

"That's what happens when you mess with an Uzumaki, Datteyo."

"Hmph."

"Huff huff." the archer panted as his bow dissolved into light. "That should do it, no one can survive that!"

"Sakura chan!" Sasuke cried as he witnessed the fight's outcome.

"Oh dear, it seems they went overboard," Orochimaru mused. He watched the smoke with narrowed eyes.

"Goodness," Shizune gasped.

"What did you expect, insulting an Uzumaki to their face," Tsunade spat. "Fool."

"Let's grab the boy and get out of here," the archer said, finally catching his breath. "We've wasted enough time."

"It is indeed a waste of time."

They froze in their movement and looked back at me. The smoke and dust danced together, observing the view but my summons saw their cautious faces and so we did as well.

"Is that the best you can do? I must say I expected more from the legendary Uzumaki clan. The Senjus would cry if they saw what became of you lot."

"Even with five for you, working together. I see now how you were wiped out."

"Brats like you would never be able to even lick Hashiram's foot, but i suppose that's an unfair comparison."

"Having red hair doesn't mean you have talent huh? Shame."

The dust settled and our mangled body came into view. The hole in our chest was worse for wear, gushing blood with each beat of our heart. The explosion made a simple arrow wound into a gaping hole. Thankfully it was in the same spot as I wasn't looking forward to Naruto's woored cries. My face was also injured. Deep cuts bleed, painting my face red. I didn't want a scare on my beautiful face.

"To think we'd use it in a place like this." we grumbled.

Drip!

Chakra surged throughout bones soothing the pain. The hole in our chest mend and return to the sacred flesh it once was. My face also healed without leaving a single pale skin. Our eyes opened to a red world where every movement was slowed. With a blink the colorful night returned.

"That!"

Everyone was surprised but none more than Tsunade who stared at my forehead. The Yin seal pulsed in tone with the seal that binds us. Warth wrapped around our body and the wings on our back burst into flames.

The uzumaki's strapped back in awe. Like a phoenix we rose from the ashes and burned bright. A smile dawned on my face as we stood tall. It was a waste to use it here but this was fun. As the stress burned away in the wrath of the flames. Our insides rosed with hot chakra, threatening to consume me. Water rushed over the flames calming them that boiled it. Soon the chakra felt like a dip in an Onsen. We sighed.

"Ah~ that's much better, now, shall we kill you."

We didn't wait for their reply, instead danshing forward. With a roundhouse kick we set them flying into their barrier. They recovered quickly and tried to retaliate. Chains sprong from the ground forming a forest inside the barrier.

We summoned a scythe as the other Uzumkis too the time to charge a us.

"Reap kazeshini!"

With a swing of our blade chains were cut down like trees and then burned to ash. Those that attacked were treated to a wave of heat that signed their hair and clothes.

"Water Wall!"

A wave of water douse the flames. Steam rose and blocked their view of us. With a smirk fox fires lit one after the other.

"Phoenix flower jutsu~"

The flames shot forward from the steam and rained chaos upon them.

"Water Wall!" they desperately formed a wall of water around them. We chuckled.

"You struggle well, but this is the end of our dance~ Knee before the emperor and accept your death."

Blades formed above their heads, their blades pointing down at them. Chains sprung from their backs in anticipation but we could only smile.

"All things in the universe turn to ashes."

Red flames road for light on the blades.

"Get away!" Orochimaru yelled, surprising Tsunade.

"Ryujin Jakka!"

The blades descended like a meteor of death.

Boom!

The hill shook all the way to its base, alerting the residence of the city. No looked towards the inn but they looked around in confusion.

"An earthquake?"

They gossip among themselves as the flames from the blade devour everything around it. The barrier shattered around us as we watched our handy work.

It wasn't as deathly as before given the tight space but it was enough to kill someone who wasn't an immortal.

Our senses went out but we couldn't feel the Uzumakis at all. Were they really dead? We couldn't trust anything anymore.

The barrier was down so surely…

The space fluctuated and we looked over at Orochimaru. He looked pale as he stared at me and then to what was left of his Uzumakis.

"This isn't good," he muttered.

Swords of flames formed around him as well. It wouldn't kill him but it would drive him away, and maybe he would take the big barrier with him.

Our halo returned catching fire as well. We looked less and less like the majestic Byakuya and more like a demon.

We stepped toward him and the old snake flinched. He grasped Sasori's core and seemed to think things through. Good he would run away soon, I was too tired to deal with him. The seal spread further on my body as it struggled to hold the flames back. The Onsen was feeling like boiling water now, scorching my insides. Any more of this and I would turn to ash.

"Die." We commanded and the swords fell.

Cling!

"My my, are my children having some trouble?" red hair dances as she made her entry. She easily parried our attack and stood in front of Orochimaru. Behind her were five unconscious redheads, very much alive. We clicked our teeth.

"Ina!?" Orochimaru exclaimed. "I wasn't expecting you."

"Sasori's seal broke so we assumed he lost his body. Chiho wanted to come but I came on her behalf." She smiled at us and pulled out a small doll, handing it to Orochimaru. Without a question he placed Sasori's core in the hole of the doll's chest. The doll blinked to life and looked around.

We groaned.

"We just killed that guy ya know!" we objected. "You can't just come in and reveil the enemies that are already dead!"

She laughed. "I just did~"

We breathe deep. "Fire style majestic destroyer flame"

"Summoning jutsu!" Orochimaru bit his thumbs. "Rashomon!"

From the ground a massive gate that looked like a demonic face rose, taking the fire jutsu head on. Naturally the absolute defense won against the flames from hell. The gate, while scorched, was still standing when the dust settled. Before the towering hell gate, stood a boy with white hair that danced in the wind. His green eyes met mine and he pointed a sword towards me, not a bone.

"Kimimaru, shouldn't you be dying in a hole somewhere?"

The boy smiled.

"I could say the same to you," he said. "I think you should die quickly."

"Oh~ do you want to dance with me boy?"

Bones sprung from his body like a porcupine.

"I'll take that as a yes."

The seal on my forehead pulsed and another pool of chakra washed through my coils, cooling them from the roaring heat. This wasn't their original purpose but somehow they were used to suppress Madara's lava hot chakra. Water and earth were my original chakra nature. With Madara fire was added. But his flames weren't mine, and like the kyuubi's chakra could consume Naruto, his chakra too could eat me. Fighting like this was like waving meat in front of your hungry pet wolf. The fact that we were close made this more cruel.

'Just hold on a little longer.'

We recalled the parried blades aiming them at the two once more. Kimimaru dashed forwards his bone blade at my neck in an instant. I bend backwards barely dodging the attack. My wings retaliated forcing him back but for a moment. He was soon on me once more. Forcing me in close combat. My vision turned red and his movements became slow and predictable.

I called the flames swords to me amining them at myself and Kimimaro. The blades wooshed through the air and attacked as our blades clashed. He blocked the blades and my attack at the same time, displaying unrivaled speed and strength. This guy was on Itachi's level, which was why he was killed off. Someone that strong couldn't be the heroes' enemy.

A dance of fire and bone. Brilliant arcs of flames formed as I swung my blades, sparks flew when he parried. No movement was wasted. Each parry returned an attack, and each dodge was an attack.

We danced. Gracefully our moves were in sync with each other.

Clank clank!

We pushed away from Kimimaro, in my absence blades of flames rained down on him. He danced around them and aimed his hand at us. From his fingertips, bones shot forth. We leaped into the air rolling into a ball and shielding ourselves with our wings.

Tak tak tak! Pebbles of death rained on our wings. As the attack stopped our wings happened to his attack. I deflected his blade with my halo and we separated. Before I knew it a smile creeped onto my face, though I wasn't having fun at all.

He lowered his stance, ready for another attack. Just then the gate disappeared in a puff of smoke.

We looked toward the gate and saw the Uzumakis standing on a glowing seal.

"We're leaving Kimimaro." Ina said with a soft smile.

"What about the boy?" he asked not taking his eyes off us.

"Another time," she sighed. "I'll go back for now."

His eyes met ours and he frowned.

"I was having fun," he muttered before leaping backwards, onto the glowing seal.

"Next time," Ina said as the seal activated and they began to disappear. "Spring Demon."

They disappeared in particles of light, their chakra signature fading with the light. The barrier around the Inn cracked and shattered exposing us once again to the cold night air.

Drip drip shhaaa.

Rain held back by the barrier fell down on us, cooling our body and extinguishing the flames. The pulsing stopped and the flames died down inside me. The diamond on my forehead faded as the seals returned to my chest. The scales, wings and halo fade into pink petals.

"Get some rest."

I nodded to his advice and turned towards the inn.

Sasuke stood in front of the inn, the rain sulking his clothes but his eyes remained locked on me.

"Sakura-chan," she said before pausing, he struggled to speak.

"Hmm?" I tilted my head to the side, the fatigue was setting in.

"What are you?" he settled on.

I smiled. He must have been watching the fight. I blink slowly.

"Tired," I replied before my vision went black.

"Tired,'' she said. In a soft voice, her voice. Just when he began to relax, her body fell forward. He moved and caught her before she hit the ground. He frowned as he felt the heat coming from her body, did she have a fever?

He checked her for injury, his eyes landing on the scar on her chest. It looked the same as always, with no sign of the wound she received from the arrow and explosion. He gritted his teeth, holding her body to his. He brushed her hair aside and the scar on her back was still there, showing no change.

"Reckless," he muttered. She was so reckless. Even though he was right there she took them all on by herself. He rested his head on her shoulder. He was exhausted just watching her near death experience over and over. He really was the only one that used his brains at all. An idiot and a suicide ninja. Those were his team mates.

As the rain beat down on them, her temperature cooled with a hiss. He would need someone with a water nature to cool her down but this was the next best thing.

"Are you trying to catch a cold?"

Sasuke looked up to see a blond woman with brown eyes and huge boobs looking down at him. A lady with short black hair held an umbrella over her, shielding her from the rain.

'Where did they find the time to do something like that?'

Sasuke stroked Sakura's cheek. She was back to her normal body temperature. He stood with her in his arms, a susanoo forming around them to shelter them from the rain.

"Who are you?" he asked, eyeing her warily.

"Tsunade, of the legendary Sanin."

"Never heard of you, am I supposed to care?"
