She walked towards the mini drawing-room pass the larger sunroom arches in the entrance.

There were all sorts of floras and arrangements of leaves hanged from the airy ceiling. Susan was there, much calmer and reasonable than before when she ran off on Peter, but now much to Lucy's surprise she sat with Peter, a good distance from him looking at him with so much eagerness not exactly frustrated but pressed as the other end was occupied by another girl, The Moorish beauty of Calormen, she was speaking about something to Peter whilst they play a round of chess and Susan passively listening.

"I am ready to try again your highness" The Lady Izildrom playfully insinuated as she brought her fingers to move the bishop across the board.

Peter let out a small distinct smile and seemed amused by the Moorish girl, and Susan evidently not, almost glaring at the two of them like an owl overseeing its prey as Lucy saw.

"Hullo" Lucy announced, interrupting the little moment the Older boy was sharing with the Lady Izildrom.

"Ah Lu, sit down," He said with a semi uplifted voice completely disregarding what has just happened an hour ago, motioning to the empty seat right next to Susan.

Rather surprising that Peter is in a much better mood despite having a quarrel with Susan not too long ago, and his expressive vituperation concerning Prince Rabadash. Lucy looked over at Susan she looked so perplexed, bemused and unable to say anything. Lucy knew Susan when she was upset, especially with the attention Peter is giving the Lady Izildrom. abnormal for the Magnificent to act so frivolously when the nation is in turmoil.

When they finished the round, The Moorish girl finally looked at Lucy with the expression of determination. Lucy looked at her confused, anticipating for what she will say

"Your highness, do you recall my father?" She asked Lucy.

"Well yes, Lord Izildrom" Lucy replied,

The girl pondered for a moment before finally saying "He has many connections inside King Tisroc's court, (I didn't exactly elaborate on Rabadash's part but it is important to know that he is Tisroc's dauphine, the crown prince. He is responsible for mosts campaign and for the expansion of Calormen) I am sure he could possibly see through ahead if-" she hesitated "...he is to be reinstated to his post and title"

(A/N: Rabadash has met Susan and he is rejected, that much is the truth but remember this is not canon to the Narnia series book. It follows the specifically crafted Lore I made for this fanfiction. To best suit the plot and progression between the characters)

Susan frowned upon hearing the girl speak her mind out not pleased with her proposal. Peter shared similar volatility, but possible to convince otherwise.

Lucy's concern was for both the safety of Lord Izildrom and the risks of even greater repercussions if the Prince were to find out.

"I would like to plead for my father to be released out of the Narnian custody in exchange for his allegiance to your majesties." The Moorish girl marked

Peter looked agitated, Susan was indomitable and Lucy at most understanding and yet hésitant.

There are just many things that could possibly lead to if the lord Izildrom was to be released back in his native soil. His questionable affinity to the opposing faction. Lucy could not say something but could only think of the council of the just. It is up to Peter to decide whether he should trust the Lady for her father to be released.

"Lady Izildrom forgive me but it is not only up to me to make such decisions, but there will also have to be a reform, if not Peter, Edmund is responsible for judgement" The faired haired girl replied, steadfast and wise.

The lady Izildrom had a look of irritation on her face, subtle but definitely present that The Gentle queen has taken noticed.

"But of course, I will try to help you in any way I can," Lucy said, giving the Moorish girl a genuine smile as she grabbed her hands firmly.

"Thank you your majesty" lady Izildrom replied.

"Lady Izildrom you could just call me Lucy" the faired haired girl insisted. She looked at the monarchs earning a little smile from the Gentle Queen herself.

"Then you shall call me Irileth... Lucy" the Moorish girl replied.

Finally, the magnificent king sat up straight and gestured to leave them be,

"Edmund has a rather busy day in the grounds today, perhaps tomorrow we should discuss on it again" Peter detailed. "For now I have matters at court to attend to, I trust to see you again Lady Izildrom."

They all stood up from their seats, the high king approached the Moorish girl and offered his common curtsey placing a kiss on her hands.

Susan glared at Peter and looked away, Lucy saw the Moorish girl smile and looked quickly and the obviously irritated Susan. She gave her a quick nudge because of her evident Distaste to what had just occurred.

Following that day the Lady Izildrom as a lady in waiting accompanied the faired haired girl with Susan to their archery practice. When they took a break, Susan pulled Lucy away out of sight

"Lu!. I don't know if it's only me but I do not trust Lady Izildrom" she whispered pressed as they leaned in on a marble column avoiding the Moorish girl

"why su? she's rather nice" the faired haired girl said as she twists a little bit of the older girl's locks.

"We don't know anything about her, did you see her face earlier" the ebony-haired girl expressed.

"What face?" She asked confused.

"She looked arrogantly offended when you didn't exactly approve of her father being released." Susan said, "and she's sucking up on Peter!" She added.

"Oh su, we must give her a chance" Lucy persisted, "And Peter isn't easily swayed" she chuckled and teased the older girl.

The Moorish girl got up from her embroidering to approach the two girls

"Oh, here she comes-" Susan exasperated then forcing a smile as she came nearer.

"Come now su, lets play another round" Lucy prodded on cheerfully walking to the girl and to the target.

After a few rounds, a courier announced himself to the queens

"Your majesty," he bowed and handed a letter to the gentle queen. Lucy walked over to Susan to look over the letter that the courier had given.

"Oh who is it from" The faired haired girl peered,

Susan flipped the envelope and saw a green vine adorned with a golden snake in the centre the envelope did not address the sender.

"I have never seen such a symbol before" Susan voiced. She tore the envelope and read the content with the younger girl

I await your reply, I'm afraid our meeting will be delayed due to certain circumstances but I must assure you that I will personally come to see you once what we have talked about has taken place, wait for me in the next vernal equinox

"Who is it for?" Lucy asked then they both flipped the page and saw the initials of Lady Izildrom

Behind them was the Moorish girl as she said: "Is there a letter for me?" She said in a low voice.

Startling the two queens from her surprising interruption. Susan handed the letter to Irileth hesitantly.

"Yes, of course, it is said that you are the receiver," she said with a subtle suspicion.

"I thought it was for me, I'm sorry for reading your letter" Susan apologized.

"It's fine" the Moorish girl retorted, rather irritated. "If you'd excuse me your majesties" walking away as she grabbed the corners of her skirt.

"She looked mad" Lucy stated, looking over at Susan

"We have to keep our eyes and ears open Lu, there's something about Lady Izildrom that makes me suspicious otherwise." She declared taking a deep breath as she looked at the Moorish girl disappearing from the distance.
