Author's Notes: Oh. My. Goodness. It has been WAY too long since I put something up. Honestly, I would have but there was so much to do and not exactly an opportune moment to do so. Believe me, I'm well-aware of people asking me to update stories and that I still need to finish up my OC stuff for the music video to send to DJ, but I've been on a FNAF kick for a couple months now and it's still going thanks to the various stories here on this site and various YouTube videos (I've found one by a creator named Envious Razor that does a small scene from "The Princess and the Frog" with some "FNAF: Security Breach" characters and it is h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s; the title is "Poor Monty", there's one by TwoDev-Sensei that does a scene from "Ratatouille", real funny; title is "Freddy Tricks Moon", and there's one by DJam that does the train scene from "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" using the animatronic characters from the "FNAF 1" and "Sister Location" games; it's pretty good), so…yeah. Honestly, I was hoping to put up my first FNAF fanfic entry before this, but I must be running out of steam so hopefully this might help.

Anyways, in terms of how life's been, still working at the same place, but…I have now graduated! That's right; had my commencement last month and had my degree completion confirmed some weeks back, so huzzah! On the flip side, that means I now have to go career-hunting as well as keep my computer coding skills sharp. Hopefully, I'll be able to have the time and energy to keep my stories going. I know this is purely a hobby, but I really don't want to give this up, I really don't; I've made some good friends here and I'd like to keep things going.

So, here's the usual disclaimer: I don't own Godzooky; Hanna-Barbera does, or should I say Warner Bros. and Toho do. I don't own the series TMNT 1987 either; the series belongs to Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, Inc. and Viacom, and is based off the TMNT comic book series created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.

Recap: In the previous story, Zooky and the TMNT have encountered Baxter Stockman and his Mousers for the first time, and Zooky and Mikey came faces-to-face with Kraang himself. Of course, there is some understandable skepticism over the story of said encounter, but since more than one person saw the living brain-creature…it's a bit hard to ignore. By the end of the adventure, the Mousers have been torched and the Shredder has gotten away once again. Our heroes have gone back to the Turtle Lair for some much-needed shuteye, Zooky needing it more than the others. He flops down on a random bed and has a peaceful sleep, but when he wakes up…

Chapter 1

"What the heck is Raphael doing on the floor?"

That was the question on Godzooky's mind as he finally woke up and looked down from the bed he had fallen asleep on to see the unmasked red turtle huddled under a spare blanket. Of course, a few glances of his surroundings provided the answer: He had walked into Raphael's room and conked out. Godzooky grinned sheepishly as he could just picture the quick-witted Turtle giving his sleeping form with a "What am I going to do with you" look before deciding to take the floor.

He was just about to gently prod the sleeping terrapin when he started moving on his own and gradually opened his eyes. When he did…

"E-YAAH!" Raphael screamed in surprise as he jumped.

Bump! went the dresser that Raphael crashed into.

"Yow!-Ooh!-Ow!-Hey!" Raphael yelped as various comics and VHS tapes fell from said dresser and hit his head.

"Morning, big bro," Godzooky giggled. "You OK?"

"Well, I've had better wake-up calls," the sarcastic terrapin muttered as he rubbed his head. "What's so funny?" he asked the giggling kaiju.

"For one, your comedic timing was spot-on, and second, dude, you should have seen your face! That was almost a true wild take!"

"Oh, that was easy considering I thought there was a wild animal in here ready to pounce me."

"Really?" Zooky smiled mischievously before making playful growling noises and hand swipes, Raphael soon getting in on the act before it devolved into a giggle fit.

"See, Michelangelo? I told you there was nothing wrong," came Leonardo's voice.

Zooky turned his head to see that the April and the other Turtles, including a recently-startled Michelangelo, had made their appearance.

"Morning, all," Zooky greeted with a smile.

"Guess I'm not the only one who got spooked awake, huh?" Raphael asked as he put his mask on.

"Naw, just me," the surfer-dude turtle confessed. "I heard ya scream and I thought somethin' got ya."

"Uh, 'scuse me; I didn't 'scream', I yelled. Big difference," Raphael stated, trying to recover some of his dignity.

Right, big difference, Zooky agreed with a smirk.

"And the only thing that got me was an overactive imagination and a few of those," the sai-wielding Turtle added, looking at the comics and tapes on the floor.

"Courtesy of myself; sorry again," Zooky apologized as he got up. "I didn't oversleep, I hope?" he then asked Leonardo, not wanting to be late for training.

"Nope, you're just in time," Leo assured him.

"Great," Zooky smiled. "So, what's the plan to track down Shredder and that giant golf ball on wheels fortress of his this time?"

The young, winged saurian's ears caught a couple of suppressed snickers before Donatello answered, "With the equipment in Baxter's van, I can turn it into a tracking station, but I'll need a few things from his apartment, as well. While we're at it, we can start getting the rudimentary parts for those communicators you suggested."

"I still can't believe you're letting me help you make them, Don," Zooky admitted as he adjusted his new belt; he had been wearing it when he fell asleep.

"Well, you've had a lot of experience being around machines; think of it as a chance for some hands-on experience."

"Oh, I am. Uh, say, if I'm not being pushy, mind if I lend a hand with the van, too?"

"Don't worry, you're not being pushy at all," Donatello said reassuringly. "If you've got any ideas for the van, I'd love to hear them. Besides, with help, the van will be done faster and we can get back to looking for Shredder a lot sooner."

"All in good time, my students," Splinter spoke; Zooky then realized that they had just entered the training room. "First, practice."

And practice, they did, with a special emphasis on the basic stances on Zooky's end. Despite not having much of a chance to practice outside of training hours, he was slowly getting better with them, but he still needed work with his tail during the horse stance. Later, Zooky sparred with each of the Turtles this time, making sure not to use his full strength on them. He did so first using nothing but his fists, then with each of the weapons. It was quite a workout, but it was fun watching the Turtles trying to think on their feet in both sessions.

During the first session with Michelangelo, Zooky had managed to disarm the Turtle by grabbing the ends of his nunchuks and took him down, but in the second session, the two somehow managed to get their nunchuks tangled and ended up doing a dance of twists, acrobatic moves, and arm movements to try to disarm or untangle themselves that got so funny at points that the other guys were laughing like crazy. It ultimately ended up with them becoming a tangle of limbs and Mikey on top and victorious by using Zooky's own weight to roll off his shell.

During both sessions with Raphael, blows and one-liners were traded. During the first session, Zooky managed to get one of the sais and the two had a small sword-fight of sorts. During the second session, Zooky saw that Raph often showed a rather unconventional and improper way of holding his sais by having two fingers hold the bottom of each of the yoku, the side prongs. He tried holding one of them like that and found that he definitely felt a lot more thrust power when he lunged. Raphael tried to do the move Zooky did against Leonardo yesterday, but unfortunately Zooky had a bit more strength behind him and the red-masked Turtle ended up getting KO'ed both times.

Since Donatello's staff had more reach, it was more susceptible to getting grabbed during the first session. However, Donnie was a fast learner and when Zooky got Donnie up in the air, the latter swung down onto the young kaiju's shoulders and tried to throw him off balance. It was then that Donnie found himself facing the tail and it became a battle of endurance. When it came to the battle of the -staves, it was a matter of seeing whose would break first…which ended up being both. However, Zooky decided to get creative by using both broken ends as his weapon of choice and Donnie followed suit. Eventually, it turned into a melee and Zooky was the winner. Both Donatello and Splinter had to admit to him that using the broken like that—"turning a disadvantage into an advantage", as the sensei put it—was a unique move, with the brainiac Turtle promising to keep that maneuver in mind for next time.

When it came to Leonardo, both sessions came out nearly matched because both were so determined. Zooky got to show how much of a beating he could take from Leo's shinai as well as show off his own prowess with sword skills he had learned in the past. Mikey later commented that when Leo and Zooky were going at it with the bamboo swords, it was almost like watching two swashbucklers or two knights fighting like on TV. Zooky won over Leo in the first session, but Splinter had to call the second a draw because both got tired and the spar was starting to drag out a bit.

"Awesome spar, guys," Zooky told the Turtles after he had gotten a drink of water. "Ya'll did pretty good, 'specially you, Mike; I was the one who got smoked that time."

Raphael barked a laugh. "If ya ask me, he just got lucky," he smirked. "I do have to say that was probably one of the funniest spars I've ever seen in my life."

"Well, I wasn't expecting our 'chuks to get tangled," Michelangelo confessed.

"Me neither," Zooky admitted as he sat down with the others for another breakfast-style pizza. "Frankly, it may have been hilarious for you guys, but it was downright awkward on our end."

"Maybe, but boy, when you tried to throw Mikey over and ended up going flat on your back instead of letting go…man, I thought I was gonna bust a gut!" Raph laughed.

"Why didn't ya let go? You could've ended things right then and there," Donatello pointed out.

Zooky turned the question over in his head and found it a bit hard to come up with a concrete answer. Was he trying to show the Turtles something? Nah, he hadn't planned that. Was it his acting skills kicking in to show off? Possibly, but no; he was well-aware of where he was. Was it his determination to win against his opponent? A strong possibility, but that still wouldn't explain why he continued to use his nunchuks despite them being tangled with Michelangelo's.

"You know what? I haven't the foggiest idea," he finally answered, which got a chuckle from everyone, himself included.

"I do have to say that you're an excellent swordsman," Leonardo said.

"Yeah, you practically gave 'Fearless Leader' here a run for his money," Raphael added after swallowing a bite of pizza.

"Was sword fighting something else your uncle taught you?" April asked, finally managing to get in on the conversation.

"Eh, not really," Zooky answered. "It was more of a…uh…'learn-on-the-go'…'fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants' kind of thing."

The surprise Zooky saw and felt in the room was so tangible that he was surprised that no-one did a spit-take.

"You mean…no-one trained you?" Leo asked, his eyes wide.

"Eh…well, what training I got was really help to polish my technique. What little I had at the start, anyway. Same with Vicky and my folks. And Vicky, well, up until that point she had never used a sword in her life, so that was something."

"Who's Vicky?" Michelangelo asked.

"She's one of my human friends from home. Twelve years old, blonde hair, blue eyes, wears glasses, and is partial to the colors red, pink, and purple."

"Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa! Hold the phone!" Raphael exclaimed. "How does a 12-year-old girl learn how to wield a weapon?!"

"Necessity" was the serious answer. "If she didn't learn how, she would have been slaughtered a long time ago. Same with us."

"But, like, what about your super strength and firepower?" Michelangelo asked.

"The strength was something we could use, but the firepower, well, that was something to be used sparingly, given where we were."

"Which was?" Donatello trailed.

"A place where dragons weren't exactly welcomed."

"OK, I can kinda get why they would call you that, but what kind of place where you guys in to have even a twelve-year-old learn how to sword fight?" Raphael asked.

Unconsciously, Zooky's right hand moved to his upper left arm as he answered, "That's quite a story, one that's long and…not exactly easy to tell. But I'm cool with telling it when we got the time," he added, just to assure everyone that no-one was prying by asking. "Right now, Shredder comes first."

"Right," Leonardo agreed, the others nodding.

"Mind if I take those?" Zooky asked, trying not to let a smile be seen as talking about that adventure brought up a memory that he decided to utilize.

Michelangelo was the first to hand his plate over…only to get it tossed in the air followed by Raphael's, Donatello's, April's, and Leonardo's. One landed on his tail-tip, another somehow perched itself on the dorsal atop his head, and the others were hit about by his elbows like hackeysacks before all made their way to the sink…surprisingly without a scratch.

"OK, now you were just showing off," Raphael smirked, breaking the silence.

The smile on Zooky's face pretty much confirmed it and everyone had another laugh, something the young kaiju's entertainer side enjoyed, especially in moments like these away from battle. And in this kind of fight, he would take whatever he could get.

Later that night, the Turtles, Zooky, and April took the van back to Stockman's place to put their plans in motion. That is, after Zooky asked April to get some paint from the store; a design idea for the van had struck him as he was watching Mikey read a comic book.

Once they got there, though, Michelangelo pointed out a problem: "How are we gonna get it up there?"

As Zooky watched as Donatello put his metaphorical thinking cap on, he had a feeling that whatever the brainiac turtle decided to do, it was going to be one lulu of an idea.

And…there! That is the first off-book chapter of "Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X"! I know that the original material jumps right into the action, but considering where I ended the previous story, I decided to show the events that occurred before the start of the next episode, which is shown at the tail end of this chapter. In this case, it was better than using a flashback; plus, you get to see (read) some more sparring sessions between Zooky and the Turtles. Not a ton of research was done this time, but I hope you found them interesting and amusing in Mikey's case. The sessions with Leo garner the most attention due to Zooky being able to match the katana-wielding Turtle, the reason being that he had handled a sword before. …And that's from my fanfic-verse version of "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings" films…which are still in the development closet. *sigh* Too many ideas in my noggin, that's what it comes down to. But yeah, in the world of Middle-Earth, the Godzilla family had to adapt to using human weaponry, Vicky included (that's how she got her Elven sword, Dazzler, after all). Oh, speaking of "The Hobbit", that little "show-off" moment Zooky did with the dishes was actually inspired from some scenes from Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Party" film where the dwarves started tossing Bilbo's dishes around while singing and managing to organize them neatly at the end without a scratch. You might have to look up the scene yourself to get a better idea, but, yeah it's a fun scene (unless you're Bilbo Baggins, of course XD ). After that, it's onto the first couple seconds of the actual episode.

So not a lot here, but this isn't exactly a big chapter, which of course means it's going to be a short list of questions. Speaking of:

After reading through this day's sparring sessions, what are some of your thoughts on them?

How did you like that little trick Zooky did with the dishes?

And, what crazy idea do you think Donnie has in mind to get the van up to Baxter's apartment?

Again, not a lot of questions, but… Anywho, next time, the Turtle Van makes its debut and Earth gets some unexpected visitors courtesy of Shredder and the Technodrome's Interdimensional Portal. And hopefully I might be able to get the first chapter of my first FNAF fanfic up in the meantime.

As always, please read and review. Thank you! :)
