Chapter one: Start of something new
Snow is falling all around the ski lodge making it look like a winter wonderland; inside there are two kids somewhere in the lodge not knowing their life was about to change.
Isabella Gonzalez was sitting on a couch in front of the fireplace with a book in her hand and hot cocoa on the table. As she was reading her book she hadn't noticed her mother walking up towards her.
"Izzy, enough reading, it's new years eve. The teens party remember." Maria said to her daughter, grabbing the book from her hand.
Izzy looked up at her mother with a frown. "Oh but mom I'm almost done and-"
"The teens party ? I lay out your outfit now." Maria told her daughter.
Izzy frowned even more. "Can I at least have my book back if I go to the party."
Rolling her eyes, Maria smiles and nodded, giving her daughter back her book.
Isabella smiles at her mother, mouthing the word thank you towards her as she went up to their room so she could change for the party.
Meanwhile Max is in the gym with Justin and Dean playing two on one basketball to help him practice for this year's games at school. Dean and Alex had gotten back together after Alex had broken up with Mason after finding out he cheated on her.
They were so into the game that they haven't heard Theresa,Jerry,Alex, Harper come in.
Theresa sighs; after Max had joined the school basketball team it's all he's ever been doing besides working at the sub sandwich.
"Did we really fly all this way just to play more basketball ?"
The three turned their heads toward her, looking at each other before answering her they say in union. "Yah."
Theresa rolled her eyes, turning in her new years eve outfit. "The new years eve party, remember."
"Right, right I remember that, we have." Justin told his mom while Harper and Alex looked at them knowing that they haven't remembered.
"Max, they have a kids party in the lounge." told Theresa.
Max raises an eyebrow. "Kids Party ?"
"Young adults now go shower."
"Oh come mom, one more shot and I'll go shower."
Theresa sighs, raises her hands up and steps back, singling that he's allowed to do the one shot.
Max smiled happily and went to do that one shot. "That's how you do it."
Everyone in the gym had just chuckled.
In the room where the party is being held; there are two teens on the small stage singing Karaoke to a song. Coming in from opposite directions Max and Isabella went towards the spot that they've found.
Isabella opens back up her book while Max leans against something talking to the two boys that were surrounding it.
Neither one noticed the MC person coming up on stage asking who the lucky two people were going to sing. Two spotlights started to go around the room where one landed on Max and the other landed on Isabella.
Max looked up after the two boys were shaking his shoulders and pointed to the stage while Bella was looking up with a hand in front of her face.
"No, come guys I don't sing !" shouted Max as he was being pushed up on stage.
"And you." The MC said grabbing Bella's hand brought her up not noticing her fighting look.
"You know you two might thank me or not." as the MC gives Max the microphone leaving the stage.
Neither of the two knew what to do looking around the room eyeing each other but automatically going back to the screen in front. Breathing a sigh of relief as they notice it was a song that they know.

Max and Bella breath heavily after finishing the song and didn't notice everyone in the room clapping for them or Max's siblings and their friends looking at him in shock after coming to check on him.
"Max." shouted Max, giving her his hand to shake.
Bella giggled. "Isabella !" shaking his hand.
The two got off the stage and went to get two Hot chocolates with them to go outside to talk. The Russo siblings and their guests that they brought with them on the trip looked at each other in shock.
"Since when in the world could Max sing like that ?!" asked Alex as she watched Max and his duet parent go outside.
Justin shrugged his shoulders not knowing how to answer that. While Harper and Dean look at each other.
Meanwhile Max and Bella both walked outside towards one of the tables talking to each other.
"So have you always been able to sing ?" asked Max.
Bella smiles a little, shaking her head. "I tried solo once during church choir, I took one look at the front audience and fainted. End of solo career."
Max just smiled. "Well, with what happened up there I find it hard to believe that."
"Well, have you done any singing before ?" asked Bella.
"Yeah, that's highly impossible unless you want to hear my shower singing." replied Max.
Bella smiles at him looking around him, noticing everyone counting down. "I Think I should go and wish my mom a happy new year."
Max nodded. " Me too, not your mom. I mean my mom and dad, sisters and brothers." "I called you!"
Bella nodded happily. "Yeah of course !"
Both Bella and Max took pictures for each other's contact photo and gave it to each other to put it in.
"You know, this is the most fun I have on this trip. So where do you live." said Max as he looked at Bella's photos.
Looking up sideways he saw that Bella wasn't with him anymore but he looked up into the sky seeing the fireworks and smiles.
"Isabella." whispered Max.
