Notes=Shinkai couple; Kaito arrives at the Kudo mansion as himself. He lost his memories and he is found by Shinichi after Spider tried to kill him.
Chapter 1
Shinichi P.O.V
I found him by a shop and brought him back home and "Sorry. I don't remember. My friends said I saw her dad get shot in front of me and my own father was killed in front of me 10 years ago but no idea. She said my name was Kuroba Kaito and that I am a magician. Other wise no idea. Here's the school ID she showed that I had." Kaito said.
I sighed. "What your friend said...is true. Your dad trained my mother. What's their last name?" I asked. "So I can call them and let them know you can stay here for now. Exoda is pretty far away."
"Nakamouri." he said. My eyes widened but I said nothing and called Nakamouri-Keibu's number. "Hey. I found a teenager with amnesia. Do you look after one Keibu." I asked. "He's ok! Yeah. The kid is like a son to me Kudo-kun. He sometimes gives me and my men advice during Kid heists but since he has amnesia I don't know how much he..." Keibu began. I watched Kaito watching out the window. "He's fine Keibu. Want me to look after him and call any time he's doing better." I asked.
"That would be great Kudo-kun! Thank you!" he said. "You have a worried parental figure. Didn't know it was a cop." I said smileing. He gazed at me confused. Guess he was with the amnesia. I sighed and showed him around. "You'll have this room." I said. "Thanks Shinichi-san" he said softly.
-That Night-
Kaito P.O.V
-Nightmare/Memory-
I was around a sea of flames and saw a man with a mustach burning on stage. I tried to run over but was pushed back and cried as I watched him burn. "Remember your poker face! Remember your...!" the man yelled at me before burning completely.
-Wakeing up-
I was shaken awake. "I remember a fire and someone I cared about burning alive." I said. Shinichi set a mug of hot chocolate next to me. "That was your dad." he said. "He told me to remember my poker face. I don't even have one. I'm a highschool kid!" I cried out and I felt Shinichi hug me.
"Kaito...I teamed up with you several times. Trust me you never once forgot those words once. Right now...you're just trying trying to remember everything. You know I had amnesia one time. It took my friends to help me." he said.
"That's it! I will call them when it's morning! For now how about you sleep in my room since you were having nightmares. I used to get nightmares a lot. I then had to tell Ran and Uncle a huge secret since they were family to me.
Shinichi P.O.V
The 2 already knew and decided not to care. Uncle saw me as his little brat to take care of as he put it. Ran had said she would reconize me no matter what size I was. Ran was now dateing Sera. I sighed worried about Kaito. Both Ran and Uncle knew I had fallen hard for Kaito Kid and I knew Ran would reconize him too. I smiled gently brushing dark bangs out of his eyes. "Sleep well Kaito." I said.
