Shinichi P.O.V
I called her and she came. She paused seeing the sleeping Kaito on my bed. "He has amnesia and got a nightmare...about his dad's death. You see his name is Kuroba Kaito." I said. "Oh. That would do it." said Ran softly as Sera bit her lower lip knowing how bad it could hurt when the Black Organization went after family. "He isn't exactly a weak little damsel. After he gets his memories he can make a choice. Shinichi its near that time for magicians to decide their futures on if they want to continue as magicians, go to college or work with detectives. I have an idea on what he will pick but it's because he probably wants to stop the people who got his dad killed." said Sera frowning. "Tell him I am open for the offer as a detective if he is looking for that. I am a private detective and he most likely prefers private detectives over public ones like Hakuba."
"True. He already knows that I know him." I said. "I indicated it."

Kaito P.O.V
I remembered everything now but...Spider was still targeting me and Meitantei and the others could be a target. I had to pretend to still have amnesia. I could also be tracked by phone and so on. So this was all just on me. I came down staires knowing what I remembered before. I also suspected Shinichi knew who I was. He knew me better than anyone ever could.
" Kaito remember this person?" asked Shinichi. I tilted my head in confusion and shook my head. Sorry Ran. I have to do this. "Alright. Well this is my childhood friend Ran and her girlfriend Sera Masumi." said Shinichi.
"Oh. Nice to meet you two." I said smileing. "You too Kuroba. Here's my card" said Sera. I flipped it over and it read "if you need anything just call even as someone who understands how it feels being a target to crows." So she knew too. I kept my face neutral and watched them go and offered to make dinner knowing my amnesiac-self did. Shinichi leaned against the wall watching as I kept glancing out the window worriedly.
"You remember everything don't you?" he said. "Yeah. But am afraid we're being watched." I said. "If you want me to go I can." I said. He scoffed. "I saw Sera hand you note and suspect what it says. She was offering you advice. Sera went through crap from crows too. So did I as you saw from the shrunken mess. Kaito we're both in a giant mess from them. You can stay." he said.
Shinichi P.O.V
"But I..." I began. "They already targetted my friend Hattori for saveing me. I suspected they were after you after the scarlet train. I am not letting you die! Not when...when...!" he sighed. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I care about you dumb ass. So do your friends like Nakamouri-Keibu and his daughter. What do you think it would mean if you died!?" I cried out.
"Keibu and Aoko now know that I am Kid. I had to tell them after awhile. They said they knew for awhile and Aoko said she was more worried about the shootings. Same with Keibu I guess but the 2 mainly raised me after Oaji died. Mom always traveled after she retired as a magician." Kaito said. "Keibu and Aoko also know mom was once Phantom Lady."
Kaito P.O.V
"Oh..." I said. I sort of hoped he said something other than friendship or family. We had known one another for awhile. "Hey Shinichi. I am going to visit the Nakamouri's for awhile if that's ok...since I got my memories back and stuff." I said forceing the best poker face I had up and left before he could stop me.
