Making New Friends, Avoiding Hoodlums
Another day in the other world, and both Sunburst and Starlight Glimmer are out and about. They are planning on what they are going to do that morning. "Well," Sunburst said, "We've done plenty of things since we've got here. Okay, that was days ago. Sorry."
"Yes," Starlight Glimmer agreed, "Let's not talk about the first one again." "Already done that," Sunburst replied. "And as for the last one," Starlight Glimmer added. "Well," Sunburst said, "That was a pointless adventure."
"Sorry about that," Starlight Glimmer chuckled nervously. "It's all right," Sunburst chuckled, "It usually happens anyway." "Right," Starlight Glimmer agreed, "So what now?" "I should be asking you that," Sunburst replied, "But oh well."
"We do need a plan," Starlight Glimmer said, "And I think something is bound to happen eventually." "Yes," Sunburst replied.
Immediately, they both ran into a young couple. "Well," the man said, "We have company, Shower." "I see," the girl said. "Oh, hey here," Sunburst replied, "Sorry for bumping into you."
"No problem," the girl said, "By the way, my name is Shower, and he is my boyfriend." "Call me Fergus," the young man replied. "Right, Fergus," Shower said. "And my name is Sunburst," Sunburst said, "And this is my girlfriend, Starlight Glimmer."
"Pleased to meet you two, Fergus and Shower," Starlight Glimmer said. "Thanks," the girl, named Shower, replied, "We're happy to meet you." "So what can we do for you?" Fergus asked. "Not much," Sunburst said. "Eh, it's okay," Shower replied, "But we can show you what we do."
"All right," Starlight Glimmer said, "And Sunburst, "I've think I've seen these guys before." "The ones back in Equestria," Sunburst corrected, "Them." "Right," Starlight Glimmer said. "You talking about something?" Fergus asked. "Nothing, really," Starlight Glimmer answered.
"Well, come on then," Shower said and the couple took them to where they work. "Please," Starlight Glimmer said. On their way, however, they came across three hooligans. "We must be careful around those three," Shower said seriously.
"Yes, I have a funny feeling," Fergus added in, "About them." The three troublemakers, Mewy Imb, Tori Airtop and Jeff Yakadori were out causing trouble. Or preparing to cause trouble.
"Don't get tangled up with them," Shower warned. "You got it," Starlight Glimmer said, "And Sunburst, I've think I've seen them, ponies, back in Equestria, too. Well, once." "All right," Sunburst replied.
Soon enough, the new friends took the two to where they work. "It's a small shop," Shower said, "But it's my family business." "Wow," Starlight Glimmer said. "Kind of like that sweets shop that little girl's family works at," Sunburst said.
"You're right," Starlight Glimmer replied. "No time to waste," Fergus said. "Right," Sunburst agreed. So, work went on as normal. Shower's business involves selling candy and other goods of a similar kind, mostly chocolate.
"Wow," said Sunburst, "You are all amazing at, well, selling." "Yeah," said Fergus, "We know." "It's what we like to do," Shower said. "Right now," Fergus said, "We got a lot of customers." "Cool," Sunburst said.
"And we do mean a lot of customers," Shower said, "Got more than what we can handle today." "Hey, you're right," Sunburst agreed. Just then, Starlight Glimmer put on a work apron. "Shall we volunteer?" Starlight Glimmer said.
"Let's get to it!" Sunburst agreed and the two friends worked alongside Shower and Fergus. They were able to handle the extra customers. "Really working alongside," Starlight Glimmer said. "Yep," Sunburst agreed. "Thanks," Fergus said, "We couldn't have done it without your help."
Hours passed and it was time to close up shop. "We got more customers than what we can handle," Shower said, exhausted. "Yeah," Fergus agreed, "Who knew we were so popular?" "Yep," Starlight Glimmer, "It's like this is the only shop in town."
"Wait a minute," Sunburst thought. "What?" Fergus said. "There should be a rival shop," Shower said. "Hold on," Starlight Glimmer thought. "We only came because there's a problem with another one," one passerby said. "I wonder what happened," Sunburst said.
There was one specific shop, but it's been cut off as on the road, there had been a string of accidents. Thus blocking the road to the other place. "Oh my," Starlight Glimmer exclaimed, looking at the wrecked cars, "They've cut off access to other districts."
"Yeah," Fergus said. "I wonder what happened," Shower thought, concerned.
It turned out that the idiot hooligans, Mewy Imb, Tori Airtop and Jeff Yakatori had actually stolen a stop sign on this road as a stupid prank. "The string of accidents had cut off the roads to the other shops in town," Sunburst added. "Hey, look!" Fergus said.
That is when the three idiots had moved out, planning on stealing even more stop signs.
Immediately, Sunburst was the first to bump into the three idiots. "What on Earth?!" Sunburst asked. "Hello," Mewy Imb said in his stupid voice. "What do you want?" Tori Airtop asked rudely. Then, Starlight Glimmer noticed something. "Wait a minute," Starlight Glimmer said, "What's this?"
Starlight Glimmer pulled out a stop sign from Tori Airtop's bag. "Hey!" Tori Airtop cried, "That's mine!" "Hey!" Fergus said, "That's a stop sign! And they are important!"
"And we are going to steal more," Mewy Imb said, admitting it while not thinking at all. "Can't you keep your stupid mouth shut?!" Jeff Yakatori shouted. "How could you?" Shower asked. "We were just playing games," Mewy Imb answered stupidly.
"Well, your stupid pranks got innocent people nearly killed, you retards!" Fergus shouted. "You are right!" a stern voice said. The voice came from two police officers whom whacked the three idiots on the head with a sledgehammer, knocking them out.
"Uh, thanks, officers," Fergus said. "No problem," one officer, named Komodo said. "They had stolen stop signs," the other police officer, named Gila, added in. "We knew that," Starlight Glimmer said. "And we are going to steal more," Mewy Imb said in his sleep.
"I think not!" Officer Gila said, "And you never think at all!" As a result, the three idiot friends were arrested for stealing a stop sign as a prank. "Luckily, they've only stolen one," Shower said.
"Yeah," Sunburst said, "And that caused a whole lot of damage in a short amount of time." "You guys are complete idiots!" Officer Komodo shouted at the three while throwing them into the police car, "And I think it's cool to treat you like idiots!" "What did you say?" Mewy Imb asked, stupidly.
"You all need to shut your mouths!" Officer Komodo said angrily, "You malfunctioned-brained retards!" "Wow," Officer Gila said, "You are having a blast." "And we are going to steal-" Mewy Imb said before Tori Airtop and Jeff Yakatori strangled him. "Shut up!" they shouted.
Thus, the three idiot friends were sent to jail. "No wonder we got so many customers," Shower said, "In one day." "Well," Sunburst said, "It's over now." "Yeah," Starlight Glimmer agreed, "This time we weren't involved in this."
"No, we did do something," Sunburst said, "We've helped out new friends." "Right," Starlight Glimmer agreed. "Thanks," Fergus said. "You're right there," Shower agreed. "No problem," Sunburst smiled.
After the wrecks had been cleared up, life returned to normal and the stolen stop sign had been restored. "And I used to think stop signs are obsolete," Sugarcoat said, "Boy was I wrong." "Well that's a no-brainer," Indigo Zap replied.
"What a unique twist in the story," Sunburst said. "Right," Starlight Glimmer agreed. Just then, they noticed a familiar face. "Oh, hey, Twist," Sunburst said, "Sorry about yesterday." "It was okay," Twist replied happily, "It was kind of quiet." "That is true," Starlight Glimmer agreed, "And we are all great friends." Everyone agreed.
