Chapter 3
[Nami's POV]
Nami could sneak into many places quickly, and the 153rd Marine headquarters was no exception. She promptly snuck through and found the vault. She just needed what was inside: the map. Things, of course, could never go right for her as she heard voices down the hall. Whoever it was, she couldn't afford to be caught.
She turned around and saw the strangest thing: "Gum Gum Slingshot." "What the hell was that? I could have sworn I just saw someone fly by." Nami went back to, cracking open the safe when the nearby collapse guards she defeated started to stir.

Upon arriving at the marine base, Luffy, Mark, and Rex decided they would be enough to get Zoro out. They jumped over the wall and confronted Zoro.
"You're back, I thought I told you to get lost." Zoro berated, " I will survive the rest of this ordeal."
"Yeah, that's going to be hard, especially if you know what we know," Mark said. "Turns out you are going to be executed. We heard it ourselves in the tavern."
"Yeah, Luffy here even punched that a-hole in the face, and might I add, it was glorious," Rex stated, feeling like he needed to. After the impromptu explanation of what was happening, Zoro agreed to join his crew with specific stipulations. Luffy would have to take responsibility if anything happened to him along the way.
"Rex, stay here and see if you can loosen those knots while Luffy and I search for his weapons."
"I have you covered on this front," Rex said, undoing the knots. Mark and Luffy had their own ways of entering. While Luffy would shoot himself through the halls of the base, Mark would take the highway since he could fly. Mark felt confident in hiding his persona with his mask.
"Gum Gum Slingshot," Luffy hollard, uncaring if anyone would hear him. It was lucky that only a few marines were stationed about; otherwise, he would have had a slightly more difficult time with narrow halls. It seemed that they were paying attention to something else. Mark, on the other hand, was not having a good time.
"Okay, I regret flying to the roof," he said only after flying through a statue being put up. The marines on the roof were totally and understandably gobsmacked, but almost instantly, that shock turned into fear. They had a great reason to fear the reason being Captain Morgan.
"Bring me his head!" he roared. As soon as Morgan shouted, Mark took off. He spotted the dick that started this and quickly grabbed him.
"Let go of me," the boy yelled. At this point, Mark had tuned him out and was flying through the halls quickly. ' Where could those blades be?' he thought before asking his hostage.
"Hey, tell me where Zoro's blades are, and I may let you go."
"We're coming up on it now. After we turn this corner, it'll be the fourth door to the right." Then Mark turned the corner and saw Luffy laughing like a crazed monkey. He couldn't help but ask, "What got you in a good mood."
" I'm just so stocked to have more Nakama."
"Hey, don't forget what I told you." Mark curtly reminded
"Right." Luffy chuckled. "So, did you have any luck finding Zoro's swords?"
"It's actually this room right here. That's excellent timing, all things considered. I honestly thought it would take longer." Mark was surprised at how quickly they got there. They entered the room and searched for his swords.
"AhHa got them. Let's get out of here before the Marines come."
Luffy and Mark then heard noises from the court. Then, with a quick burst of adrenaline after seeing what was about to happen, Mark burst forward. "Nooo." Mark planted himself right in the way of the incoming bullets.
"You'll need more firepower than that if you want to hurt me." The bullets that landed on Mark's body just stopped; they lost all momentum.
With a shout of "NANI," the Marines present all fell on their asses except for one.
"All the men who just dropped on their asses can just off themselves. I have no use for weak men." Morgan was ranting and not paying attention to what, or rather who was above him. It was with a shout of "Gum Gum Battleaxe." that knocked him out of his ranting.
"Your reign is over, Morgan!" Luffy shouted, though unexpectedly, his attack was blocked just in time. " Don't underestimate me; you're all just a bunch of weaklings."
Morgan then got tripped from behind by Rex. "You can't forget about us." After Morgan attempted to get up only to get a devastating uppercut from Mark, followed by a "Gum Gum Bazooka." by Luffy, Morgan was sent careening through the air, and with a loud splash, Captain Morgan was defeated. Zoro was very impressed with this crew's coordination so far, and that's not even factoring in their strength. During that fight, he was defending everyone else, and then the fighting stopped after he heard that finishing move. With Morgan gone, the current Marines dropped their weapons and all cheered.
"Man, I could really use some food right about now," Zoro proclaimed, falling to the ground," and some booze."
"Man, that was freaking awesome! Do you think we'll be doing this kind of thing more often?" Rex blurted out, seemingly talking to everyone in the room. After that comment, Luffy and the others returned to the tavern to celebrate a new crewmate.
With a warm " Welcome Back" from everyone, they all started to pig out until the Marines showed up.
"You're the pirates that took down Marine Axe Hand Morgan, right? " The Marine in the center asked.
"We're going to have to ask you to leave. We're sorry we can't help you further, as our two sides are in conflict." The Marine finished. The civilians were displeased that the gang was being asked to leave.
"That's fine with me. We were heading out anyway," Luffy said as he walked towards the exit with his crewmates.
"Is the pink-haired kid with you?" the marine officer asked
Before Luffy could even talk, Coby spoke out.
"I'm with them." Coby's simple words took everyone by surprise. They wondered what made Pinkette change his mind.
