Being a God is boring, just watching everything go as planned is nowhere near as fun as it should be. The amount of times I wanted to intervene and just make things go wrong is insane. However I had the perfect idea, instead of just making things go wrong, let's cause a bit of problems for my children. And with that, I traveled to a different universe finding the perfect person and after watching someone die to protect their younger sibling, I reincarnate them into a pokemon and leave them to explore with just a single note. Being God is fun sometimes but at times like this, it's so much more fun, let's see how long it takes Palkia to notice he should exist.

"Ugh... Where am I?" I said as I soon come to my senses.

I look around wondering where the hell I am, and why am I so short? I take notice of the beautiful forest and the multitude of creatures around doing their own things. However these were creatures I knew, my little sister loved pokemon and always showed me these pokemon. But if I was in the pokemon world, why was I so short? I notice a note right next to me and start reading.

"Hello Human, this is Arceus. I have brought you to the pokemon world to add some enjoyment to this boring place. I turned you into a Vulpix so there isn't an unknown species running. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new world. You are currently in Celeton Forest and very close to Celeton City. I do recommend going there for safety as things do get quite dangerous at night. Anyway, if you need anything, just call my name when you are alone and I'll respond alright?"

I was so confused. I notice a lake nearby and go towards it and look into it. I really was a Vulpix... Thankfully, my little sister forced me to learn almost every single pokemon so I should be able to tell which ones are dangerous but still. This is so surreal, but I should do what Arceus said for now. I am like a lost puppy right now and I grab the note with me and start walking aimlessly admiring the forest.

As I walk I come across a path and one of the ways will send me to Celeton City, the other will just take me someplace completely random and I just decide to go left and keep walking. It was a nice and peaceful path, no pokemon anywhere and soon enough, I spotted the city in the distance. It looked so majestic and massive. As I was admiring the city however, a scream nearby caught my attention and I instantly rushed over and noticed a carriage getting attacked by some bandits. Most of the bandits were Dark Types but that doesn't change the type chart advantage in the slightest and there was only one person still alive and fighting an it was a Fennekin. They kept fighting back and burning them reducing their attack and since they were all Attack focused pokemon they were kind of stuck.

Whist they were distracted I tried thinking of what my moveset was and I blew a small Ember and figured that would be enough to push them back, they were already weakened and this should be the perfect chance to strike and with that, I jump out shooting Embers at the Bandits catching them by surprise and some even faint. Once the remaining few leave, the Fennekin comes out and greets me.

"Didn't expect anyone else to be here." She says clearly surprised to see a friendly face.
"Can't just leave a damsel in distress now." I respond trying to deduce whether she still thinks I am a friend or foe.
She giggles slightly, "Well you are quite a charming guy, my name is Joyce." She says with a smile.
"I'm Ivan, nice to meet you Joyce." I reply also introducing myself, "So what even happened?"
"My older sister was travelling with some goods for the Pokecenter in Celeton City but we were attacked on the way there." She answers, "We managed to beat most of them and run but we couldn't run any further so we stayed and fought but as you can see, it didn't end well."

Around there were plenty of unconscious Psychic and Ghost types, the bandits were clearly prepared when they attacked.

"My sister is still somewhere in Celeton Forest and I want to look for her but I can't leave these goods unattended..." She says with a slight tear in her eye.
"How about I go search for her?" I say not thinking.
"You'd do that for me?" She looks surprised, seems a genuine good guy is uncommon in this world, "Right, umm, she is a Delphox, her name is Jocelyne, her moveset if I remember correctly is Fire Blast, Psychic, Overheat and Trick. Please do find her for me, I'll pay you handsomely as well"
"No need to pay me, I'd much just prefer something like a guide since I'm new around here." I respond.
"Then I'll be your guide later once you return," She smiles and sits down, "Please be quick..."
"I will don't worry." I rush off back into the forest to find Joyce's older sister and hopefully have a guide to help me in this world.
