All Might and Miwako traveled to UA to use the training grounds there and she got to meet other pro heroes. She sat next to All Might as they waited for someone named Principal Nezu for permission to use the training facilities at the school. She tilted her head in confusion when a little bear-rat-person walked into the room. He (it?) sat down across from them and poured a cup of tea for each of them. "I am principal Nezu. I hope you like tea, it's not everyday a young child like yourself is brought to the school to be tested by the number 1 hero himself."

She accepted the tea cup hesitantly. "Hello sir, I'm Miwako Uzumaki." She took a sip and her eyebrows shot up and she gave a hum of pleasure. "This tea is really good, what is it?" The principal laughed. "Thank you very much, it is my own brew. Please drink as much as you want."

All Might took over the conversation as she poured herself more tea greedily. "I would like to have access to training ground Gamma Sir. I want to test her on her quirk. She's the girl I've been looking for this entire time."

This shocked the principal. The incident was kept under wraps, but there were some that knew how bad All Might's injuries from a mysterious fight was. He's been trying to find a kid ever since he was admitted into the hospital, but he refused to tell anyone why. This made Nezu pay closer attention to the girl than before. Just who was this child that caught the attention of the most famous man in society?

Nezu however, kept those questions to himself and gave an easy smile. "Sure, I don't see why not. Although, is it alright for me to call the other teachers to observe? I think they would be interested." This made All Might pause for a moment and turned to look at Miwako with a questioning look on his face. She glanced up as she finished the tea and shrugged her shoulders in response. "I'm alright with it."

Nezu clapped his hand and hopped off the couch. "Great! I'll gather the other teachers and we can all meet up at the training grounds and introduce you to the rest of the staff."

Miwako pouted as she put the cup down and followed All Might to where they needed to be. Once they reached the grounds, she started to stretch to warm up. She didn't know what kind of test it was going to be so she wanted to be as prepared as possible.

One by one, the teachers started filling in. Miwako snickered to herself when she saw Principal Nezu being carried by a homeless man. She walked back over to All Might's side as the teachers lined up in front of her. Nezu hopped down from the man's shoulder and introduced her to everyone.

She bowed low in respect. "It's nice to meet you all. I'm Miwako Uzumaki."

Each of the teachers had their eyes trained in her, interest shone in their gazes. Aizawa was the first to speak. "So this is who you were looking for. Are you going to tell us why you are so interested in her yet?"

All Might stuttered as he tried explaining why he brought her here. "Well, I mean I just noticed that her quirk was quite unique." Miwako furrowed his brows at her answer and gazed up at him. He felt her eyes on him and turned to look at her, an expression of panic and desperation written clearly on his face. It was then that it clicked that no one knew she saved him that day.

The other teachers didn't believe that it was just her quirk that attracted his attention, but they dropped the subject to get to what they came here for. None of them knew what the girl could do yet. All Might explained what little he knew of her quirk and she gave them one of her kunais. They passed it around for the other teachers to be able to get a look at her marking. Aizawa took the lead in asking her questions to get a better idea of how it works.

"So what are your limitations? Does it have a distance limit? Can you place it on anything?" He honestly wanted to take a nap and figured if he could ask the right questions he could get this meeting over with as fast as possible. He was curious about the girl too, but couldn't be bothered with this. It was the weekend, he should've been happily sleeping.

"The Flying Thunder God uses my energy to power the mark. As long as I have enough power and my mark is placed I can essentially teleport anywhere I want with as many people as I want or anything. I can place it on any object or person."

The teachers were shocked at her quirk. They thought it was an extremely useful ability. She could be an amazing rescue hero in the future if what she said was true. At such a young age, her abilities seem highly advanced. "What happens if you use up all your energy? How does it replenish?" Aizawa was curious at how far she pushed her limits to be able to give such a good explanation of her quirk.

The answer they received shocked them. "I'll die." Her face was void of emotion as she spoke of her death as if it meant nothing. "The energy I use is essentially my life energy in a way. As I grow and use more of it, the reserves will as well. When I use it, it slowly starts building up again, but it takes a while sometimes."

All Might was scared about how she knew so much, he knew she didn't have parents, how could she know for sure she would die. "How do you know that?" A flicker of a smile appeared on her face, her eyes seemed as if she was looking at something far away. "My family all had the same energy as I do. My dad was actually the one that taught me how to use my quirk, since his was the same. He was amazing."

"Where is your family now?" Midnight was concerned for the girl. Just from the clothes alone, it was glaringly obvious the girl either didn't have a good home, or no home at all. "They're all dead."

It was Present Mic who spoke out next. "So who are you living with?" The group of teachers were starting to get really concerned for the child in front of them. If her family was dead, who was making her live in such ragged clothes?

"No one, I can take care of myself." Jaws collectively hit the floor. All Might stood behind her with worry all over his face. Aizawa closed his eyes and pinched his nose. "Hold on this doesn't make sense. The authorities never placed you in a foster home? They just-" He just himself off not knowing what else to say.

Miwako tilted her head in confusion. "The authorities? I technically don't exist. My family lived off the grid so to speak."

Present Mic looked like he was about to have an aneurism. "Off the grid? Don't exist! All Might!" He jumped at the sound of his name, raising his hands in a surrendering motion and yelled "I just found her today I didn't know before!"

Aizawa sighed loudly, handing her back her kunai. "We need to take you to the proper authorities. You need medical care and a plethora of other things."

Miwako was starting to get annoyed at how they were treating her as if she couldn't do anything by herself. "Did no one listen to me? I told you I could take care of myself, I don't need anyone's help."

"It is against the law for minors-"

She cut him off. "Fuck the law I'm not even a citizen. I'm 10 not stupid, I know how to get my own food, I know how to stay out of trouble, I know how to survive."

The teachers were surprised at her age, just from her appearance and height, she seemed no older than 7 or 8. They all slightly winced when it clicked that her lack of growth was due to malnourishment.

Aizawa's voice also grew hard at her ire, not liking the tone she was taking. "And what about your education? Are you going to be living on the streets your entire life? How are you going to get a job and support yourself with no identification?"

Miwako waved her hand, brushing off his concerns as if it was nothing. "There are public libraries I go to so I can study. I also happen to like living in the forest, the air is much cleaner and isn't as polluted as the city. I'll deal with getting a job when I need one."

"Then what if some villain attacks you? You leave no traces of yourself anywhere, how are you going to get help? What then?"

Miwako smirked at the question. "I'll kick their ass."

The teachers all had raised brows at her answer. Her hubris regarding her abilities seemed like a death sentence to them. They were worried that she was thinking too highly of herself, that she didn't really understand how cruel the world was.

"Fight us then." Aizawa's words shook everyone out of their thoughts. All Might stepped up to try and put a stop to it, "Aizawa-"

He shook his head. "No, if she's so confident in her ability to defend herself, she needs to prove it." He didn't look away from her the entire time he spoke. "If you win, do what you want, if you lose, you have to listen to us."

She agreed to the terms and got into a fighting stance. All Might looked between her and Aizawa, not knowing what to do. The other teachers readied themselves as well. Aizawa, noticing All Might's hesitation told him that he could step back with Nezu and just watch the fight if he wanted to.

He still hesitated, he didn't want Miwako getting hurt, but he also agreed that she couldn't keep living by herself. She turned to look at him. The reassuring smile on her face did little to reduce his worries, but she tried. "It's alright, don't worry, I won't get hurt."

Nezu grabbed All Might's pants and pulled him away from the fight. He counted down and Miwako took out her kunais, when he reached the end she threw them one at Aizawa first with deadly accuracy. It sliced through the air, eyes widened at how hard she could throw it, but she didn't give them anytime to process it.

He thought her strategy would wait for the kunai to fly past his head and attack from behind when he moved to avoid the hit, but she came at him head on. Her face was inches from his, he couldn't block the roundhouse kick she threw at his head. It was hard enough for him to stumble back. He was shocked when his quirk didn't work on her and that costed him several precious seconds.

She didn't stop there and started attacking the other Pros around her. They were hard pressed to keep up with her. As they started breathing heavier with the onslaught of attacks, she kept a serene smile on her face. Midnight couldn't release any of her gas since they were fighting in such close proximity, she would end up hitting the other with it. She screamed when suddenly she was twisted around so violently she flew through the air, knocking into Vlad King who stretched his arms out to catch her.

Their breaths hitched when Miwako flashed towards them, punching Vlad in the face, breaking his nose. They flew back and as Miwako was getting ready to fight her next opponent, a loud screeching had her covering her ears in pain and falling to the floor in pain. Her eyes sought the source of the sound and it was Present Mic.

The ground started shifting before she could get up and a dome surrounded her made of cement. The pros panted as they gathered around it. Most were supporting a bloody injury of some sort. Present Mic felt really bad about hurting her. He saw the blood that dripped out of her ears, and while he knew she signed up for it, it never felt good to hurt a child.

They were about to let her out when a body slammed into Present Mic from behind. She escaped the dome the moment it closed so they couldn't tell she left. She grabbed his hair and exposed his neck, positioning her kunai there ready to slice an artery or two open,

"Enough." Her voice was hard as she glared at them all. They stood frozen as they watched her threaten their friend. Aizawa was furious. "Are you going to kill him?"

She rolled her eyes. "Of course not, but I think I've proven that I can survive on my own now, yes?" her eyes softened as she released Present Mic and tried to fix the hair she ruined. She spoke with a faint voice not looking at any of them. " I understand your worries, I really do. I know it's not right to steal, I know that you all feel responsible for me because of my age, but none of you know me. I know just how heinous a person can be. I've seen it. So please, don't waste your energy on me and put it towards helping other children that actually need it." She bowed her head, pleading with them to let her go in peace.

She didn't want to cause trouble. They were just trying to help her and she appreciated it, but she couldn't agree with the way they do things. She was raised to be a murderer and they were the ones that prosecuted them. She hated society, how fickle she knew the minds of the citizens they tried so hard to protect was. While they might have good intentions, how they build their image, how the public opinion holds so much weight, it wasn't right.

They were silent, none knew what to say. They made a deal, and they knew she won, but they couldn't leave her by herself. If they found her dead one day, the guilt would eat them alive. They would question why they just let her go, why they didn't force her to do what's good for her, but her words stunned them. The emotion in her voice wasn't faked. She had seen or lived through something and it changed her.

They realized they weren't dealing with a normal 10 year old. They were dealing with someone that had to fight tooth and nail to live. They weren't dealing with someone that had a loving home life, a warm bed and meal to come home to. She slept in the cold, harsh outdoors for who knows how many years and here she was fighting to keep her freedom.

It was All Might who stepped up. He walked over to her, kneeling down placing his hands on her shoulders, forcing her to look at him. "We just want you safe. You are right that there are other children out there that need our help too, but you are the one that's here in front of us. We don't know what you experienced out there, but we are worried. Stay with me at least please. I have a spare bedroom and more money than I know what to do with. Don't steal anymore, and don't sleep in the cold when you don't have to. You will not have to tell me what you do or where you go, just be safe." He was begging her.

His interest in her at first was simply due to his gratitude at saving his life, but now, looking at her, talking to her, he wanted to take care of her. As the symbol of peace, he placed strict limitations on who he could allow to be in his personal life, not wanting to put those he cared about in danger. However, he couldn't bring himself to let her go.

She looked at the other teachers around her. None of them were angry with her, they were just sad. She clenched her hands, thinking. "Kurama, what do you think?"

"It wouldn't hurt to stay with him. It would at least give us a comfortable bed and hot food. We could always leave whenever we want to anyway."

With Kurama's help, she nodded. All Might smiled and lifted her onto his shoulder. She squealed at the sudden movement. "Woah, I can't get used to how tall you are!" It was little moments like this that had him questioning who was the real Miwako. With her smile that bright, eyes full of wonder, she looked like the typical kid her age, no worries to speak of, but during the fight she completely changed. Her eyes darkened and she fought like a veteran. He could tell she was holding back against hurting the others. What could have possibly happened for her to learn how to fight so well.
