Bakugou tried arguing against him having one of her seals placed on him but she was relentless. Eventually, he caved and told her to place it on his back, between his shoulder blades. She didn't tell him, but that was also the exact place Midoriya wanted his mark too.

When she met up with him before he trained with All Might for the first time he asked question after question about her relationship with All Might.

"So you're All Might's daughter. How-when?" He asked not really knowing what he wanted to ask first.

"Not biological, I was adopted about 3 years ago."

"How did you meet him? How did that happen?"

"That fight he told you about-how he got his scar-I saved his life that day. He searched for me since and ended up finding me a few months after."

"Oh…" Midoriya wanted to ask exactly how he found her, but felt like it was an insensitive question. Obviously if she was adopted that would mean she had no parents before. She could practically feel him wanting to ask more "Go ahead and ask away Izuku, it's alright.", she said.

"Umm, how did he find you exactly?"

"He caught me stealing from a grocery store one day. I was living on the streets with no record of my existence so he was never able to find me in any databases he looked in. He felt sorry and responsible for me, especially because I saved his life and decided to take me in. Legally adopted me around a year and a half after that."

"Does Kacchan know?"

She shook her head "No, it isn't my secret to tell. He's met my dad multiple times in his powered down form, but it's not like All Might having a daughter is public knowledge. It's a safety risk for me."

"Ah I see…"

She placed a hand on his head again, an action that was quickly becoming a habit between them. "Listen, I'm glad my dad chose you to be his successor. You really do deserve it."

His lower lip started to wobble. "…I can't thank you enough for believing in me before anyone else did. I'll make you and All Might proud." He bowed as he made his vow.

"I know you will." She waved her goodbye to let them train in peace. She went home and relaxed as she thought of what gift she should give Bakugou for his birthday. She rubbed the necklace he had given her without even knowing how sentimental it was to her and wanted to make sure he's had a similar impact on him.

He's not one for very sentimental objects, he's someone that much prefers items that are useful rather than just decorations, unless it was All Might related. She shot up when an idea came to her. The privilege of being the number one hero's daughter really pays off some days.

Bakugou's birthday was only 2 weeks away so she really couldn't spare any time and immediately pounced on All Might the second he got home for his help acquiring the items she needed.

She grew more nervous as the days passed without any news on what she requested. She sighed in relief when it finally came in the mail just a day before his birthday. She wrapped it the best she could, and got ready to head over to the Bakugou residence.

It would be the first time she met his grandparents that would be coming for his birthday and Mitsuki texted to let her know the dress code was dressy casual. Not used to having dress codes she sent all the clothes she had in her closet for Mitsuki to pick out her clothes. She chose a short sleeved orange sundress, pairing it with a light cardigan to keep her warm from the slight breeze and flats.

All Might came to help her braid her hair and pinning into a braided crown around her head. He had gotten a lot better over the years as they practiced on each other during family movie nights. They picked some flowers from the yard and placed them in her hair and she was finally ready to go.

She left the house after making sure her dad remembered the plan for the day. It was Bakugou that opened the door for her weaning black slacks and an orange button up. "Hey we're matching." She said pointing at him.

He rolled his eyes at her hand raised about to smack her head, when he saw she had done her hair up for the day and dropped his hand not wanting to mess it up. He knew better than to mess with a woman's hair when they spent time to make it look nice. "Get the fuck in whiskers."

"Miwako, is that you dear? Oh who am I kidding of course it's you, like Katsuki would have any other friends." Mitsuki said laughing as she walked out of the kitchen to greet her. "Oh the dress looks fantastic on you like I knew it would."

She gave Miwako a strong hug before steering her towards the elderly couple. "This is Katsuki's grandparents."

Once the introductions were over, they all sat down talking until dinner was ready. There was a wide variety on the table and every dish was beyond spicy. Separate dishes were made specifically for her which Bakugou teased her for.

As they were eating Bakugou furrowed his brows and pointed at her neck. "Did you fucking alter my gift?"

She glanced down, he finally noticed the extra set of beads on it that she just added to it that morning. "I'll explain later, if I do it now, it'll ruin your gift."

"Don't tell me you got me a damn necklace."

She laughed. "Hell no, I feel highly offended that you would even suggest I got you something like that after knowing you for so long. Just be patient would you."

As they were wrapping up dinner and helping put all the excess food away there was a loud knock at the door. When Mitsuki tried to go open it she held her back with a secretive smile. "No, I think the birthday boy should open the door."

Bakugou scoffed. "Shouldn't you peasants be doing the menial tasks for me since it's my damn day?"

Miwako had to struggle to hold Mitsuki back from smacking Bakugou when the knock sounded again. "Trust me, you want to open that door."

Bakugou narrowed his eyes at her and slowly walked to the door. When he opened the door, his eyes widened at the broad chest directly in front of him. He slowly lifted his head and there he was, All Might.

"Young Bakugou! I am here to wish you a happy birthday!" All Might laughed as he pulled a wrapped gift from behind his back. "Unfortunately I can't stay long as there are crimes to stop, but I hope you enjoy the rest of your night!" With a last laugh he hopped off once Bakugou shakily took the gift out of his hands, still in shock.

He stood staring at the empty spot for a few more seconds before he slowly turned around, the gift still clutched tight in his hand. "D-did you tell him?" He stuttered for the first time that she's ever heard. Everyone but her was frozen, seeing the number one hero visit their home.

"Surprise! That's not my only gift but yes. I called in a favor." She grinned as she skipped closer to him, closing the door. "Are you happy?"

He nodded faintly looking at the wrapped box in his hands. She pulled him to the couch and urged him to open it. He slowly snapped the tape off, almost feeling guilty ruining the wrapping.

His eyes widened at what he saw. "This…!" It was like the gift was glowing in his hands, shining a bright light up at his face.

"Damn it Katsuki what is it!" Mitsuki yelled.

"It's the limited edition All Might action figure from when he first debuted! These aren't even sold on ebay anymore. There were only 10 made before they slightly changed the color of his hair saying it wasn't close enough!"

He ripped the rest of the wrapping away and saw the signature at the bottom of the box. "He signed it!"

Miwako was laughing, thinking about how similar he sounded to Midoriya. As much as they didn't think so, they were like the same person. He stood up suddenly, holding the box to his chest as if someone was going to take it from him. "Nobody fucking touch it! I'll kill you." He rushed to go place it in a safe space in his room before heading downstairs, a pleased look on his face.

She pulled her own gift from the pocket of her dress. "I don't know if my gift would top that one, but open mine next."

He wasn't nearly as gentle ripping the paper around it off as he was with All Mights. He was confused when he saw it was a small square jewelry box and glared at her. "If you're proposing I'll blast you to hell."

"Don't be an idiot! Just open it already." She raged, turning red in embarrassment.

He finally opened it and what lay inside still didn't make sense to him. They looked like ear cuffs and she took them out of the box to explain how to use them. "These are noise cancelers created by some engineers at I-island. It's nano technology so you just have to place them in your ears and they'll fit perfectly. With your quirk, I'm worried if you don't take any precautionary measures that you'll go deaf once you start practicing with it more at UA. When you're not using them, you can just place them on your ears for safe keeping."

She placed them in his hand as she reached for the two added beads on her own necklace. She removed them and placed it in her ear, making sure he could see how they immediately adjusted to fit right into her ear canal. "I got some too since my ears are pretty sensitive and figured I could use them whenever we fight together. It's completely waterproof and can adjust what you want to filter out. So if you keep them in you can still hear people talk, or completely cancel out all noise if you want."

She placed her hands on her hips in a proud fashion. "Pretty neat right? Go on and tell me what a great friend I am."

He smirked as he placed his pair into his own ears and crossed his arms looking away from her. "What was that? I can't hear you."

She started yelling next to him, hitting his arms as he ignored her. The Bakugou family watched on amused.

Bakugou sat up, heaving for air. His breaths came quick as he clutched his shirt right below his throat, his eyes scanning the room for danger.

"Katsuki?" Miwako rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she blindly reached over to the nightstand to turn on the lights. "What's wrong?" It wasn't the first night she stayed over. Since he finished junior high, he's been forcing her to train with him constantly. She could see the desperation in his eyes whenever he fought her and could tell the sludge villain attack left a mark on him.

He still didn't say a word as she sat up and placed a hand on his back. "In through your nose, out through your mouth. Follow my breathing."

Slowly, but eventually he was able to calm himself before laying back down in the bed, wiping the sweat from his forehead. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.

He stayed silent and she took the hint. "If you ever want to talk, you know I would never judge you." She glanced at the clock, the numbers 4:13 glowing. She knew he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep for a while and decided to just talk, so he wouldn't get stuck in his head. She spoke about a story where she once snuck into a clothing store when she was younger, before she was adopted. She needed new clothes since hers were too torn and thin to wear anymore.

Since she had to be quick or else she would get caught, she just grabbed what she could. It wasn't until later that she realized she grabbed a g-string several sizes too large for her. That made him crack a slight smile and she tried to think of more embarrassing stories to tell him.

"Ya know I still can't decide if I want to be a hero or not." She said, there was only around 6 months left until the exams.

"You should." Bakugou said, the first words he spoke since waking up.

"Can I be completely honest with you?" She turned on her side to stare at him and he moved to look at her too and nodded.

"I hate most heroes and I can understand why the villains choose to do what they do sometimes.", she admitted quietly. The alarmed look on his face made her speed up her explanation before he got the wrong idea. "I'm not saying that what they do is acceptable. Murder is bad I get it, but so is extortion. Did you know some heroes threaten others for money, not like the normal burglary way, but through offering their 'protection'. The only reason why they choose to save people is for a higher pay, and if they think it's too risky they send someone else to deal with it and make excuses. It's awful and I don't want to be a part of that."

"You're not gonna be anything like those wannabes." He said. He reached his hand out and grasped the necklace she always wore, the one he got her. "Thought you said you'd be fighting alongside me, that's why you got these."

"I do want to fight with you and I do like helping people."

"Then apply with me, we'll blow all those assholes away."

She took his hand in hers and smiled. "Alright…let's be heroes together."

"Katsuki you got zero rescue points!" She was shocked, but she didn't know why. Of course he wouldn't have any rescue points.

"They're fucking useless anyway! I'm still number 1."

She was unimpressed and pointed to the number 7 spot. "Not so useless don't you think?"

He slammed his hands down on his desk as it smoked, glaring at Midoriya's name on the screen. She rolled her eyes at his anger over nothing. "How the hell did you train him well enough to pass the stupid exams?" He asked.

She shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to really lie, but not able to tell the truth either. She settled for changing the subject. "Have you designed your costume yet?"

He rolled his chair to the bookcase next to him and threw her a notebook. She caught it and flipped it open. She ran a critical eye over his drawings and notes. "The gauntlets are too big."

"What the fuck are you talking about? They're perfect."

"Come here." She reached for his arm and showed him roughly how big they would actually be if the designers followed his instructions. "This is excessive. How the hell are you going to move with it in the way?"

"I need it for my quirk!"

"Need it for your quirk my ass! Give me a pen." She started adjusting some of his designs, making sure to keep to the original as much as she could. "You need more padding in your shoes, especially if you're going to be blasting yourself to and from the air so you can land safely. The knee pads are a pretty good idea. Hmm, compression fabric for your forearms under the gauntlets would be necessary."

Once she was satisfied she put the pen down and examined it again before passing it over to him. He looked it over with a critical eye and said nothing as he closed the book. "You like my changes don't you.", she teased.

"Shut your mouth, they aren't terrible I suppose. You never told me what you got on your exam." He reminded her

"What do you think I got?"

"It better be first place. Like hell I'd be friends with someone that got anything less."

"Well good thing I did get first place then huh? Although I did bump into this really douchey guy, Endeavor's son." She reminescened about the kid with half red half white hair she met.

"Bunch of fucking extras. Think they'll let Aizawa teach you since you're his goddaughter."

She furrowed her brows. "That's actually a really good question. I'm not too sure, I'd have to ask him myself. Although I doubt it'll be a problem. He's a sadist when it comes to teaching. He's not one to give out preferential treatment. Did you know he failed his entire class?"

Bakugou shot forward in his seat. "Is that even fucking allowed?"

"He hasn't been fired yet so I guess. I pity the bastards that would be put in his class."

Bakugou scowled at her. "You just jinxed us, you bitch."

"Fuck."
